J & L Platinum Marketing / Stay away

1 United States Review updated:

Paula Lamb assured us that she was selling us RCI points only, that it had nothing what-s-ever to do with Timeshares. After it was put in a brown envelope, I didn't look at the documents again until I received a bill for $374 for a annual fee for a timeshare in Palm Springs, CA. I have looked at over 5 Timeshares, and did walk a through on all. This woman and her partner altered the documents on a computer. My daughter and I read all the paperwork before we signed. No where did it state we were purchasing a Timeshare unseen. This was why it took them over 30 mins to get copies for us.

I had an identical situation with salesmen John 'Z' Zabolio and Jim Cintron. I was told I would be able to turn the points in after the first of the year for others to use which would pay me for nearly the entire 'purchase'. Repeated calls to this organization have resulted only in unreturned voice mails.

Avoid this company like the plague.
