These guys are the worst of the worst.
While they offer cheap shared hosting and a huge list of available features their customer service is abysmal. In fact I was told by the senior net admin. (whom I have a sneaking suspicion is one of the owners) that he was a graduate student and did not have time to answer all of his shared hosting clients e-mails. Hmmmmmm...I'm in business but I don't have time for customer service...great biz model.
After I e-mailed them and said I had a client that I wanted to transfer off of their servers before their renewal date they assured me they would handle it and not bill me again. Then I received a notice that they had deducted the fee from my checking account. After I told them of this they assured me of a refund and then when they tried to do a charge-back (credit) through their merchant account It came through as another charge.
All of their tech support is off-shore somewhere and always takes hours or even days to get a response, and guess what it's NEVER anything on their end, even when I have proven it was.
I have since started moving clients to another host and in contrast I received more response on one problem in an hour than I received in several days from AFMU.
