The request for student visa is made on 23rd aug 2023 from vfs chennai branch to italian embassy mumabi through the appointment we booked officially on their website. The intended travel date is 14th september 2023. Today it is 18th oct 2023 ... still no update from them... numerous attempts made to get the info from embassy and also from vfs... both of them are unresponsive for the issue. Vfs , they are saying that they cant help in this issue., and embassy is not answering for both the calls and emails that we wrote to them. This is absolutely unprofessional on their part . The decision should be taken before the travel date ... or in other cases they atleast should ask for more documentation or physical presence... but they did nothing!

Today it is 27th sep 2023 ... still no update from them... numerous attempts made to get the info from embassy and also from vfs... both of them are unresponsive for the issue. Vfs , they are saying that they cant help in this issue., and embassy is not answering for both the calls and emails that we wrote to them. This is absolutely unprofessional on their part . I got call from VFS on 13jan 2023 regarding collecting my pre-refusal letter from mumbai. I collect my pre-refusal letter on 16thJan and on 20th Jan 2023 I got refusal letter with my passport. I didn't submit my documents yet. VFS gave me have 10 days to submit documents and before submitting documents I got refusal on my application.

Please let me know what should I do next. I have 5 days to submit documents.

On August 2nd 2022, I had applied for an Italian student visa at the nearest VFS centre which was VFS Kochi. I submitted all my documents and finished the interview afterwards. On August 31st, a week before the date of my intended arrival ( September 7th), I received a pre refusal order from the embassy claiming I have not given the full documents and that I have to submit ITR forms of 3 years of my sponsor, who is my father. My father is a merchant navy officer so he is an NRI. I had submitted bank statements of his NRI and his local account with withhold sufficient amount as required. Also I had submitted his 2 documents which is a proof of his work and rank, and in the covering letter I had mentioned my father’s job and rank.I had emailed the embassy telling the same but I have not received an email back, it has been one week and within 3 days I have to submit the necessary documents or my visa will get rejected. Talking with the fellow visa applicants for the same visa, It was found that those who applied for the visa earlier than I did have not yet received their visa and they are delaying or rejecting many study visa. My classes starts on September 14th, there is no online class and I will lose my college housing if I don’t receive my visa in time. Please look into my complaint.

i have applied for student visa on 29/8/2019 and my traveling date was 30/9/2019
from 22/9/2019 i was daily emailing them calling them, they didnt even reply of any email and they dont even recived the call, even if they recived the call they put the phone a side.
they rejected my visa application with the reason is the conditions of the intended stay was not reliable.
i am not satisfied with reason of rejection.
because at the time of pre enrollment they check all document only insurance, flight ticket, bank statement and stay that we purchase after pre enrollment.
even i have got the reply from the collage that if you come after 30/9/2019 we are ready to take your admission.
italy embassy never reply to any student.
they are playing the student life
this was my second time i was applying both the time they rejected visa .

I am a seafarer working with msc, whenever I need to embark on ships in Europe I need to apply for single entry transit Visa for 3 days and embark on assigned ship. however the pain is this italian consulate is inhuman and harrass people like us with no proper communication no proper grievance redressal system and no response to communications sent vis-a-vis emails. Applied for Schengen visa transit to Italy ref no muma/190918/0044/01. its been 20 business days the consulate is least bothered to respond to any emails or calls.. sent emails to adminsitrations escalated the issue to MADAD consular grievance system still no response. if they don't want to give visas at least deny keeping seafarers on hold especially when there are duties and commitments is called inhuman behaviour and mental harrassment
