These are the fraudsters, Ehab & Iraida Shahwan - WANTED !

Arrest Warrant has been issued this week against the Gangster. Iraida Shahwan (for Name Usman) was convicted with her Partner lawyer in the UK by a British Tribunal Case in 2003. Then she went to Egypt, married Ehab Shahwan, together these two frauded many mainly british Investors, Daily Mail will be ready in about 2 weeks time to publish the 2. article ! In the meantime they have divorced Iraida Shahwan is the CEO of a Company named RSP Management in Hurghada, a guy there, "Mr. Sammy" is running it, doing the "dirty work", issuing notices for annual maintenance fees, every year owners are quested to pay into a different bank account ! I have contacted the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Tribunals Offices as well ! It's such a large crime but we will get them !

Hello after long time. Are there any news about OM?

We purchased an apartment at Oasis Marina through Red Sea Properties, based in Derby in 2008. Needless to say we have had not got an apartment or our money back, despite instructing a solicitor in Egypt. What can we do? We are as desperate as everyone else. barbara.woodhead@btinternet.com

We have bougth an apartment in 2010 for 85000 EUR. Right after signing the contract the political uprising started we have understood, . We have tried several times to get information but only received promises which have not been fulfilled. Continous delays and new explanations. We are very much disappointed as we have lost a lot of money. Have also had a contact with lawyer in Hurghada but it is not easy when we are Sweden. We bought through an estate agent in Stockholm Dan Crona who also assured us several times. The complaints above are the same but I have thought up to now that it is the political situation which has caused financial problems to complete the project. The latest information on Building Update is that part of the land has been sold on 4th May 2015 and that phase one will soon be completed. A owner's union would be set up for this.
I would very much welcome to get recommendations for how to act together with the owners in Phase I.

Me and my wife paid in full £56000.00 or 68880.00 euros 2011 . We met with representatives from Iraida company in 2013 and they said it was down to the revolution, that was the reason it was not finished, but other companies had completed their builds I said, then they said it would be ready for us in 2014, me and the wife are back in Hurghada in October to meet our lawyer and find out what the hell is going on. What we have been told by our lawyer is that because they have broken the contract that we can get our money back with compensation, we bought our property through a company called Sun Shine Dreams did any body else use this company?.

Can anyone on here recommend a lawyer in Hurghada I could use to register our contract against the developer?

I've got £60k with them since 2009. Have been chasing agents Experience International (UK), Estate Alliance (Hurghada), Iraida & my solicitor for updates. Experience just asked ME if I had heard anything as they have no idea what's happening with the development! How laughable is that? Said the last they heard was that Iraida sold the project to another developer! My solicitor who kept assuring me over the years that its in hand and that it'll be fine as soon as Egypt recovers starts setting in, have now said that a few of his clients are taking Iraida to court and that its only through this group class action that I'll get my money back. Of course my reservation that he requires another £1000 to 'act' in this capacity for me. Forgive me for sounding cynical but I don't trust anyone related to this project who has any kind of financial benefit. Like everyone else, Iraida themselves avoid any replies to communication whatsoever. Logic says the only hope we have or ANY recovery of funds is to indeed use either a UK or Egyptian based firm that specialises in contract and/or property law to begin litigation. Logic also says that such a firm would indeed be incentivised to take the case up if its a group claim. I can also only assume the only reason Iraida hasn't declared themselves bankrupt or in administration yet is because they're continuing to catch unsuspecting buyers and realise there is still an opportunity to collect funds. An egyptian legal firm would know would be best placed to probably advise investors on the strengths/weakness of a claim. They'll also know the MO of Iraida. If I am able to make any progress through personal endurance with this (and I am exhausted), i'll update everyone and check your appetite re: group claim. Good luck all - Angelle

still nothing. I writes many emails to Ehab Shahwan CEO Iraida Estate Agency and did not respond. Iraida deletes my comments on her facebook. Ehab also cancels his comments on his facebook. I wrote on the forum http://www.propertyforum.com the whole truth but they charged my comments and banned me.
Iraida itself does not do anything with it that took the money and nothing builds and people feel cheated out robbed.

As a real estate agency we recommend all our clients to registair their apartments in the court. The signature validation is the minimum action which should be provided to secure the investment. You can ask your agent or any of the law companies in Hurghada to do so.
The avarage fee is around 2500 LE for full service. Registaring of the apartment can protect the rights of the owner in this situation. Red Sea Interiors

I'm Egyptian and have flat with Iraida as well and i suppose to recive this flat in 2009 but as you know nothing deliver to any one because of many reasons ...and i know that this man have problem with the cash flow that is why the construction is very slow and maybe nothing at all + Egypt situation now + ...etc

I fully agree with you that there is no respond to our emails and phone calls ...etc, and it is become serious case now but do you think if we raise a court case in Egypt now you will get your money back ? I think about it a lot but it will take more than years in the court as well and finally we will get the money or not and in same time i follow their website monthly maybe i can find something new and today when i saw your emails i check and find new update from CEO of the comapny and you can check it as well

So glad to find this forum. We purchased an apartment in full in Nov 2008. Everything going fine at first but now no contact with Iraida. They do not respond to e-mails etc. Starting to look into legal proceedings as we just want our money back. Would be great to hear from other owners if they've had any success or can offer any advice.

when you try and take this lot to court well here we go court case date is all set and then 1st there lawyer dose not trun up for the hearing so you have to start all over agine its a bloody joke so i would say to the lot off you out there stay well away from iraida and all the sales team that are trying to flok it as you to will be ripped out just like the rest off us

The Iraida company has very badly let down their existing clients. Despite years of waiting for the oasis marina to open it has NOT come to fruition. It is years behind the building process and all they give their mainly British and European clients are false promises. Now, these clients are taking Iraida to court- it is their last hope. Future Investing in Egypt will only happen when there are good developers and maybe Cairo should be made aware of this FRAUD and CORRUPTION that continues to happen.

When you start to buy at 1st thay will bend over back woulds for you and give you anything you would like but as soon as this company have got your money in there bank acc that's it with them you wont here from them again, to thay wont a little bit more money from you stay well away from them and be very careful off any lawyer out there to as a lot off us have found out thay to seem to say yes i can help but what thay don't tell you is thay are helping themselves to you money the property market out here in Egypt is just a pyramid game and one you me or the man next door will win

after spending over 50k on a property on the oasis Marnia site 4 years ago i am very disappointed with this company not only have thay failed to deliver on time but if ever you try and telephone them thay are very rude to you and as for lady Sherwin her self she to is very rude and very nasty to go with it so all i would say to any one out there is to think very hard be for investing on the oasis Marnia Egypt as if you do you to like a lot off us will be saying good by to your cash
