This is the worst company I have ever worked for in my life. For nine months I put up with abuse from horrible customers, and even worse management. The customers that Iqor caters to for the phone company Metropcs are the most uneducated and rudest people I have ever had the displeasure of serving. This company have been calling me for over a year now.. several times a week.. the call comes from [protected].. When I called back I spoke to a very rude guy with a strong accent.. His name was Nicolino. He told me that I had an outstanding balance with the ministry of education (quebec). He said that if I needed to know why to call them and find out.. But that I owed the $ to iqor. I thought this was a scam so I ignored the call. I don't remember owing any $ to the ministry. I'm not too sure what to do to make the calls stop

sneering and laughing is professionalism???
Call came in requesting my husband's location? I asked who was calling and I got a sneering 'it's confidential'. Since when does a company that claims they are professional have call agents who laugh and sneer at people who have no idea what they are talking about.
This will be another listing for the law suit against IQOR regarding Consumer practices.

IQOR Canada persistently called my mother who is a recent widow regarding a debt owing for a person of my father's same name. As determined when I called back, the had the wrong person based on the birth date of the person they were trying to locate. My father was born in 1930 and the person they were looking for was born in 1991. I asked that they search elsewhere and take my mother's name/number off of their list. They persistently called and asked for my father's death certificate. The insensitivity and ignorance was beyond believe. The attitude of the caller was horrible.
If one more call is received based on this 'wrong name' track down, we are contacting a lawyer and we will lay charges for the distress these horrible, aggressive calls have made.

This is to bring in notice the immature behaviour of IQOR management.I got atl from the company on 20th of july.There are certain things which are completly unfair.
1. If a company is giving atl to any employee they are supposed to give one mnths salary in advance or has to give one mnths notice period, so that the employee can handle the financial as well as job requirement in future.Which was nt happened.On 20th, i worked for the whole shift and in the end of the shift i was asked to leave.If they had to ask me to leave why they have nt told me in the beginning of the shift?
2.This is the first company I hav seen where the employee is nt reffered to the HR..they are immediately asked to leave by the team leader.so one can understand what kind of management iqor have...
3.when it comes to full & final, idealy the maximum time is 45 days.its been three mnths now since 20th of july..they are nt responding well.every time they are changing the dates.
money is imp for everyone, nobody can survive without it..but i am doing it since two mnths...Thanx to Iqor..

Have now been calling to collect for a person I have never seen, heard of or known who has never ever been at this number. They call on my fax line, sometimes daily, sometimes 3-4 times a day, some weeks just once. I have tried to be nice and to also be rude, nothing stops these idiots. This has been going on for about 3 years now and the fools can not seem...

i have told these people that i cancelled the subscription but they keep phoning and asking for money. i even told them i would pay 50.00 a month but was told that that was not good enought and to have a nice day. they phone everyday four times a day & put no information in their computer so any one else knows what is going on. the operators are rude, obnoxious & do not care about any one but them selves.
i would like to know how to stop these calls

Iqor Canada is notorious for PURCHASING FRADULENT accounts. They will not listen to anyone who is even slightly upset, they laugh at people when they express the stress they are under, they hang up on you and you call this a legitimate business? im sorry but if you work in a store and treat customers like that you would lose your job, ya sure being a collection agent you have to put your heart in a different place but is it really moral or humaine for them to laugh at someone who was hospitalized due to their repeated harassing calls?
they took money from me to close an account...never closed it and sent me to a differant credit bureau who say i owe more money, and are telling me they are sending me to a lawyer
i do not think this is true...because i have dealt with this company as well...a file wont go to a collections if u hve paid it as agreed...and later wards you shouldnt be surprised if you get a call from a collection agency...therefore i would say iqor is doing the right think...YES they might be annoying with theirs calls but they are doing their job and it wont be this annoying with the calls if you have paid it right away ...thats all i can say for all of your comments...

They are harrasing me about a person who does not live at my number and never has. This company is a legit company, but does a lot of scam calls trying to get your information and that's what they're doing to us. I'm sending them a cease and desist letter and reporting them.
K everybody, I got it sorted out... I called IQOR's legal dept.(number on google), and explained to them how the law reads... 1) A collection agency cannot share your information, including credit bereau's, Only the original bill holder can do that.
2) They need to have full copies of your identification..
3) The statue of limitations is 7 to 10 years depending on where u live..
Once i clearly explained this, I'm sure the legal dept. already knew this, they were more than happy to e-mail a letter of apology, and removed this collection from my credit rating... My sdvice is do a little research and be firm... Good luck all.
I must agree, they have a collection report on my credit file, I don't know how I am suppose to fix it. The debt was paid in full about 5 years ago. Can anyone advise me on what to do, please and thank you.
IQOR Canada has put a collection report on my credit file. Unless I had requested a copy of my file from equifax I never would've know it was there. They say I owe Rogers Cable 361$.. I live in northern ontario in an area Rogers Cable doesn't service..DUH..I have lived here over 5 years and they say there was a payment made in June 2005 ! DUH again...
IQOR canada is collecting money from debt that is not legally collectable. I've explained this too them repeatly only to have them hang up the phone. I have asked them to mail or fax me copies of the bill that they have registered on my credit bureau and they have refused. They don't have my full name or birth date or any other information for me. Only the short version of my first name and my last name. When i told them i was disputing the bill they asked me to fax them a copy of my drivers license, sin number, and major credit card. Or a complete copy of my credit bureau. From my research i have found out that a collection agency cannot share your information with ant third parties. this would include equifax and trans union.
iqor telemarket collection for rogers
iQor is a Telemarketing Collection Agency that harasses people without knowing why they are doing it. They call you every day. When you answer these calls, there is no one one the other end. When you call them back they give you a hard time. For 6 years we have had no Rogers Cable Service because it doesn't work properly at this building. The Rogers cable signal is leaking out all over the place according to other residents who are discontinuing their service for these reasons. The cable box at the back of the building has been open for about 6 years. Anyone can come along and hookup their own cable, and the people who run the building don't care or they are actually involved in it. You can't explain this to iQor because they just want payment for for the loses incured at this crazy building over the years. Rogers has been asked to lock up the cable box many times, but they only did it once. A week later the cable box was opened again, and it has been that way ever since!
Iqor is not a "collections agency" nor do they do "telemarketing". It is a third party call center. They are hired by other phone companies, cable companies-you name it. Iqor is hired by these companies for customer service (the area that I work in for MetroPCS), technical support, dealer support, and yes collections. Obviously you owed your cable company, didn't sort it out for over 128 days and finally they sent your case to Iqor. Once you debt is sent to a collector, your right! they don't care if you services weren't working, services were turned off, or frankly if you should have been credited with the previous company, because they have nothing to do with that company other than your case was release to them. At this point to have them stop you would have to get another third party involved. Or when a collector calls you, just state that you do not know the person they are calling for, and don't hang up! Tell them you have already asked to be removed from their list once, you know the laws and that you would like to be removed at this time or you will take further legal action. If you're a jerk to them, they will only give it right back. They are not customer service! Their hired to collect debt, not please you!
Speaking of Rogers, my wife paid her cable bill and is being harassed by Iqor for money to pay Rogers. She went to their website last night and made a copy of her bill showing a balance of 0.00 as of 04/03/2009. When she contacted Iqor she was told that she had changed her mailing address, which we hadn't. We've been on the same street for twelve years now, and from what they said someone called in a change of address for her account. She's been trying to send them the bill to show that it's paid but they told her to go to their website and email them the proof, the only thing is there is no way to tell which of the three email to use to do so.
