Invicta automatic watch - reserve 18922

Second hand of Invicta 18922 Reserve Tourneau chronometer watch wouldn't reset to high noon. Wrote Invicta customer service. They gave me instructions for resetting it — except the directions are for a quartz watch. They said it would work for both. Inaccurate.

Luckily, the problem is now fixed. The second hand fell off completely.

Poor quality control.

Too bad, as it's a good looking watch. Perhaps I'll hang it up on the wall for a decoration.

Or smash it with a hammer.

Invicta my watch has been gone for repair for 8 months

June 2017 i took my Invicta watch to the Boca Town Center Mall thinking i just needed a battery. They replaced the battery but a week later the watch stopped working again. They replaced the battery, saying it must have been faulty, but same story, the watch stopped working. They suggested sending it to the service center in Hollywood. September 9th i was charged $121.90 for fixing the watch and it came back to the Boca store. I picked up the watch and the very next day it stopped working. I took it back to the store and they sent it back to the service center where it has been still today. No one is returning calls, telling me what is happening to my watch.

Invicta service at international mall

First: the computer is down, they are calling the manager, come back in 30 minutes, they will be with me in a minute! Excuse after excuse The girls are nice but how I'm being put off is horrible! This is the second time because earlier in the month they said there is a new system! Really, the "system down" excuse is crap! There isn't a back up plan for this "New System"? Wow what a horrible plan Invicta has! What can you do to rectify this with me? You tell me! Once or if this gets fixed I will never buy or deal with Invicta again!

Invicta model # model: 12115 (service only) 6 months no watch yet.

I initially gave 2 watches to be repaired to the world trade center store in june of 2017.

The results were,

Watch (1) movement adjustment
Watch (2) band replacement
Replacement band for watch 11887
Non swiss watch - battery
Battery for a non-swiss watch - includes battery, gasket, h20 test
Interior cleaning
Clean out all humidity from inside of watch. add oils as needed then reseal to standard

It took until august to receive a response and quote for service. I immediately paid the quote to complete service. I was told it could take an additional 60 days for services.

Now after nearly 6 months, I still don't have my watches and can't seem to get an answer for why it's taking so long.

I've called customer service and it says that this number is not available at this time.

I'm getting a complete run around. i've bought over 7 invicta watches and will never support this company again.

Invicta not sure i'll use them again

Guys, stop hiding behind your tables and start working properly. I don't know what happened there but you work like a crap.
I paid decent money for a fast shipping within 2-3 days, but I had to wait for over a week before you notified me that the order was shipped. It was in stock and you confirmed it twice. At the very beginning and when I called you. Upon its shipping has been 2 weeks. What kind of an expedited delivery is that? I think they lost my package but will never admit it.
Please, contact me and explain how it happened and where my order is.

Invicta cs doesn't answer

At first, everything went well. I placed an order, was immediately charged and got a confirmation. Great. The delivery was fast as well. Nothing to worry about, right? No. They sent me a wrong product.
I tried to contact their customer serviсe but had no luck. They didn't answer my email and didn't pick up the phone. And their website became an absolute mess for me when I started to look for information about contacting them.
I left several messages, I hope one day they will call me and help me with my issue.

Invicta invicta pro diver automatic watch

I purchased the above watch on June 28, 2017. I paid the extra $29 for two day delivery. I expected the watch to be delivered at least by July 3 (more than two days). However, it was not delivered until July 5. I was very disappointed as the watch was a birthday gift for my brother whose birthday is July 4. There was a slip in the package which indicated it should have been delivered on July 3. In view of all this, I expect the $29 to be credited to my account. Thank you for your consideration.

Invicta watch

I bought my sub aqua watch a little over a year ago! I have my 5 year warranty etc. The battery has stopped working and there is a warranty covered issue with the "seconds" hand. I have tried to get my battery replaced in Orlando and New York and considering I live in Ireland that's a lot of travel for a replacement battery! The invicta stores that replace batteries told me that the back had been glued at the back casing! I have been trying to contact invicta for 8 months and to date I have not had one response about getting a watch I paid over £600 for repaired!

Invicta customer service

Got an invitca watch as a gift from my wife. Not only will I never buy one, but I have advised my wife, and anyone else that I know, to now buy an invicta watch — ever! Needed to get the band replaced after it rusted through in under 3 years. Called their customer "service" in march 2016.

After being on hold for over an hour, was given the information that I needed to order a replacement band, at the cost of $83 and it would take 90 days. No biggie. Gave the representative my credit card information and waited... And waited.. And waited.

Call them back in july 2016 and was told they could not find my order. Okay. Gave another representative my credit card and this time wrote down the order number. A charge of $83 was processed on my credit card on 7/26/2016. And waited... And waited.. And waited.

Called them back in october, waited on hold again for over an hour, and was told it was on order. And waited... And waited.. And waited.

Finally got the band on november 16th. Yay! But it was not over.

Invicta charged my credit card again for $83 on 11/10. I called them on 11/21 and again waited on hold for over an hour. Talked to eddie, who wanted to make sure I put his name in capital letters when writing this complaint.

Explained to eddie the issue with the duplicate payment. He put me on hold — oh please god, not on hold! After about 5 minutes eddie came back and told me the 7/26/16 was just a temporary hold and was credited back within 3-5 days. But noooo, said i. According to both my credit card statement and my bank, it was processed an never credited back. Eddie said I was wrong and should contact my bank.

After 10 minutes of eddie arguing with me I ask to speak to a supervisor. None available said eddie.

As an customer service and support executive for over 25 years at companies such as dell computer and texas instruments, as well as a former association executive for the association of services management international — the professional association for customer service and support executives from companies such as ibm, siemens, hewlett packard, panasonic, lg electronics... — I fairly well schooled in the operation of a customer service phone queue. Invicta apparently does not subscribe to best practices of customer service operations.

After arguing with eddie for another 10 minutes, a supervisor magically appeared — elaine myers.

Elaine explained the same thing as eddie did regarding the processing of the first payment, and that I should check with my bank. Again, I told her that I have and the first charge was indeed processed. She told me I was wrong.

Wow! I cannot remember a worse customer service experience. I will be forwarding this post to everyone I know, as well as the center for services leadership at arizona state university's w. P. Carey school of business as a case study of how not to provide a high level of customer service.

Invicta invicta watch

The store jacked up my son's watch when they took links out upon purchase. It has not worked correctly since and we can no longer get the band to stay together. This watch is only two months old. The 800 number does NOT answer the phone, the corporate office does NOT answer the phone, they do NOT return email, and they do NOT respond to social media posts. They did not give me a warranty card either, which I didn't know even existed until I tried to log in online for repair service. The store said I can send it back to them and they'll send it out for repair but the band is not covered under warranty, so I have to pay for that...plus shipping and handling both ways. Even though THEY are the ones who messed it up. Basically, I have an expensive paperweight in a stupid yellow box. Wish I had read these reviews before. I will be posting negative feedback every place I can find to hopefully help the next customer. WRETCHED. Do not know how they stay in business.

Invicta rubber watch bands

I have a substantial collection of Invicta watches. Many of these watches have rubber straps on them especially the Subaqua Noma 3s and the Subaqua Noma reserves. I have found that many of the watches are now unwearable because the bands simply fall apart. One or two watches were continually used as favorites but others have only been worn once or twice and stored in a watch cabinet. Some of these bands have also completely fallend apart. when I contact Invicta about this they recommend purchasing a new band for almost $70. this is approximately one third the cost of the watch. all for a rubber band that probably costs in the neighborhood of $0.30 to produce. out of my 13 Subaqua Noma threes 8 are wearable at this time. the rest all have had the bands fall apart even without wearing them. this makes me extremely afraid to wear any of the existing ones that I currently have a rubber band on them because they could fall apart and fall off my wrist at any time. if in Victor really cared about their customers as they say they do they should offer the bands at an inexpensive price for replacement of existing customers. they require for their warranty registering the watch on their website and I believe that for people that have done so should be able to get the watch bands at a discount so they can continue wearing their product. this would be good advertising for them and show that they care about their customers. but instead they try to get top dollar out of the replacement parts. I have also had many other problems with Invicta watches such as puzzles that have fallen off, hands that have fallen off, or other miscellaneous problems. if the watches and warranty you can send it back to Invicta but of course they will charge you almost $30 to send it back to you which is not even close to what it actually cost to ship watch.

Invicta repairs

I bought a cool looking watch on the internet for $150 US. After a little over 6 months the crown fell off and the watch stopped working. Having lost my bill I phoned INVICTA to inquire how I could get this watch fixed. The procedure was to have the watch mailed to them, even though I live in Hollywood Florida (location of their headquarters) and enclose return postage of $28.00. After a month they contacted me telling me what the problem was and told me it would cost $80 for repairs and it would take 3 months to fix. After 5 months I contacted them and they finally have the watch returned to me. I unwrap the watch and guess what? It doesn't work. I contact INVICTA and they tell me well we replaced the piece that was broken, if anything else was wrong with the watch you need to specify it. Hellooooo, I'm not a watch technician, I don't have a clue what is wrong wrong with my watch. Don't you think if I sent it in for repairs you would send me a watch that is functioning back to me. Don't buy this garbage. Your asking for headaches and problems. The watches might look good but won't last.

Invicta charged my credit card without approval and still didnt return watch

I sent my invicta akula reserve watch in for repair 10/2012. when I called them the end of 11/2012 they said they hadnt been paid shipping so I gave them my credit info and told them to please contact me with cost before doing repair.on my next credit billing cycle I saw they charged me an additional 69.00 dollars with out authorization.Being it was not unreasonable I didnt complain I figured my watch should shortly be returned. Well 5 months later the end of 3/2013 I still dont have my watch. They dont return phone calls. They anwsered one email saying two more weeks that two has past. I can only recommend never do bussiness with them.I thought being I purchased it through shopnbc they would help.Fat chance being all this happened after 30 days of purchase they bow out. I have found through the BBB they have had almost 200 complaints in just the last year. Do yourself a favor stay clear of INVICTA watch

Invicta service and parts

Hi:
Just wondered thee whereabouts of service parts ordered for my Sniper Coalition watch, back in October 2012. The gentleman who ordered thee parts for me did not asked me for an email or anytheing! He just said they were free and would take 90 days to get them! It was the screw and nut for the bracelet.
He said it was hard to determine where this part was coming from! Could be Europe or Asia!
Wow! I have a brand new watch siting in my drawer, just because the factory fail on quality control and sold this item with loose parts.
How can you sell watches without the capacity of being able to replace parts without sending them to repair!
I can't even imagine, if this transaction ever took place. I own more than 3 Invicta watches, and over 100 watches. Very frustrating to say the least!

Dear Rafael S Lezcano
Thank you for taking time to contact us regarding your order. Parts can take up to 90 days to receive but we sent it prior that time frame. IN90540 it was shipped out on October 24the 2012. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you but we always do our best to fulfill order before that time frame. In which your order we did but we send regular mail.
I have place a new order PARTS0053457.

Hi Samanthea:
This is in reference to new order PARTS0053457.
Do you have any idea how frustrating and infuriating is to wait for something, you do not know,
from where it is shipped or how long it will take for me to receive! It has been 5 monthes since the order was placed. No answer, no tracking no results, my gift watch is in a drawer for 1 damn screw and bolt! This is so ridiculous and unfriendly on your company behalf! If you can't deliver you should not sell! What kind of repair shop or parts department your company run? Why can't you guys sent me what I need in a timely manner. I need to talk to a manager or take my watch back! I need an answer very soon!
Thank you!
Rafael

Dear Rafael Lezcano.
I understand your inconvenience and I appreciate your patience but any order can take up to 90 days. Estimated date is April 8the 2013 or before.

Samanthea:
What happens after your estimated date if it does not arrive again! It has been 7 months then! Why there are no parts in Florida? Isn't this where your company operates? This is very aggravating, Samantha! Can you guarantee this?

Dear Rafael Lezcano.
I understand but i cannot guarantee we are the headquarters only not the actual factory which is located overseas we have to wait for them to ship us the part.

Invicta never get anwsers

Have purchased prodiver automatic watch from invicta. loved this watch, after only 2 months it stopped working so I got platinum insurance for 5 years, they told me to send $28.00 for s/h and to fix it would cost $20.00. it shouldn't cost anything because it was defective and only less than 2 months old. I sent it with the united states postal service, insured and delivery confirmation, the postal service shows they received the watch oct.12, 2012 @11:02 am @ hollywood, fl

Invicta very poor service

I bought a Reserve Excursion about a year ago, two of the pointer markers on the bezel fell off. Sent Dec 29, 2011 and they said 3 months wait, $28 return shipping. In March I find out I owe $45 for new bezel which I didn't see on cryptic invoice they emailed me and was absurd because of the supposed "5 year warranty". After paying the "RANSOM" they say another 3 months June 23rd is new return date. I called about June 29 and the girl says" Oh, its coming from overseas. When it gets here we'll give it a tracking number". ARE YOU FRIGGING KIDDING ME! All I want is my watch! Its now July 7, 2012 and way past the promised return date. I'll never buy another and I can't believe some Attorney General hasn"t taken the reins on this. Almost criminal repair work and false warrantys. Why don't you just make it a 50-60-70 year warranty. Every time I see Eyal Lalo I want to kick the screen. All I've learned is if your thinking of buying an Invicta you better grab your ankles.

Invicta bad customer service

I have purchased several Invicta watches for my family and myself. I have been ignored, talked to rudely, and all around ripped off by their customer service dept. The 5 year warranty is useless, as you will pay for any and all repairs. No one will return messages or emails. My latest rip off - Brand new watch worn 3-4 weeks, dead battery. Due to prior rip offs from them, I had a new one installed locally.( $8.50 as opposed to paying $28.00 plus shipping just to get them to look at it.) 3 weeks later, a small pin which is on the clasp breaks and I ALMOST loose my new watch. Again I took it to a certified watch repair shop. They said the little pin had been soldiered in and they couldn't fix it. I wrote a $28.00 check, boxed it up and sent it to Invicta as per their instructions. Several weeks later they email me that I need a new band, which costs $75.00. ADD up the cost of the new band plus $28.00 plus shipping charges and it comes out at more than the watch costs.I email them and ask why they can't replace a $2.00 pin, and request to have someone with some authority contact me. 2 weeks and 2 more emails and still no answer. At this point I don't even know if I'll get it back. WHAT CAN I DO?

Invicta repair charges, poor watch quality

I use to purchase Invictas, not anymore. Here is just one of the many problems I encountered with their watches. It involves needing to purchase 2 watch band links and being ripped off. I tried to find a dealer to buy the links from, but Invicta seems to have restricted the market from being able to compete with replacement parts. I couldn't find spare links anywhere but from Invicta. When that scenario happens, they have you by a very sensitive part of your body. Here the email I sent Invicta headquarters regarding my complaint about their charges.
Hello,
I placed an order today, Dec. 27, 2011, for 2 watch links for an Ocean Ghost Model 2301. I had researched on your Invicta website that the cost for the links would be equal to 1.5% of the total watch value. This watch sells for approx. $100.00 dollars, but your Florida office says the manufacturers suggested retail value is $375.00 dollars raising the link charge to $5.63 per link. OK, that's fine, but when I called the Florida office earlier today to order the links, they charged me $10.00 per link plus $6.00 shipping equalling $26.00 dollars for 2 links for a model 2301 watch.

After placing the order, I called them back to question them about their charges for the links and quoted them the information from the Invicta website that has been the same info displayed on the website since I can remember for calculating watch link charges. It says on the website that charge per link is 1.5% of the value of the watch as I stated earlier. I think your Florida office is overcharging for parts and not following your stated, written guidelines for pricing as written and stated on your website. This is fraudulent. I will report this. I wonder how many other people have been overcharged as well. As Toni, an operator in the billing dept. told me, hundreds of people have called to complain about the same thing. She tried to have me believe that your billing calculation for links on your Invicta website was for wholesale pricing. Then why is it there on the website as the stated pricing for the public to use to calculate costs? She then transferred me to a man that I talked to earlier who transferred me to another person who hung up on me. I finally had to leave a message on a person's answering machine.

I remember being able to order 2 free watch links and only having to pay for shipping. What ever happened to that service?

I would like someone to straighten this mess out. Why are they overcharging for parts at your Florida office? Why did they give me the run around when I was trying to pin them down on their overcharging for the links. What is going there at that office?

I must have talked to at least 6 people when I called there and got passed off from one person to another. At one point, I think it was when I was talking to TYU, he told me the suggested value of the watch as being $375.00 dollars and that I should have only been charged $5.63 per link. When I finally reached a girl in billing or parts, I was told that my credit card was charged $10.00 per link totalling $20.00 for the 2 links plus $6.00 dollars in shipping, totalling $26.00 dollars for the complete shipped order. This is contrary to what I was told by TYU who I think is a manager there. I should only be billed $5.63 per link plus the $6.00 dollars shipping. That is if the shipping charge is not over inflated as well. So, the total charges should be $17.26 total not $26.00. If this $26.00 dollar amout is billed to my credit card, I will have documentation and will pursue this matter with the legal dept at my bank as well as every government department that handles credit card fraud, mail fraud, deceptive advertising, etc.
Please reply.

They replied with more run around passing the buck by telling me to contact there Florida office. That was the office that ripped me off.

Here is the calculation of cost as listed on Invicta's website for what each link costs. It is Item 18 in the list.
18. Band Links 1.5% Retail value of complete watch

Here are some of the other complaints I have.
1. I purchased a Grand Lupah that has a clouded crystal.
2. I purchased a Grand Diver that had a clouded crystal. Apparently, that can happen on the inside of the crystal. I managed to take the Grand Diver apart to clean the crystal, but the Lupah has some trick to removing the movement that I cannot figure out, so it remains clouded.
3. I have another Grand Diver with a broken winding mechanism. It is an automatic movement. It will not wind up.
4. I have a Corduba with a crown cover or canteen that I cannot unscrew and as a result in trying to unscrew it has broken its attachment to the watch case.
5. I have a Russian Diver that I wore one time. The band on it is so stiff and uncomfortable that I cannot wear it. The band is mabe out of some kind of plastic that Eyal once spoke of as having been replaced with a softer silicone band. I did not benefit from that change. The replacement band is like a hundred or so dollars. Forget it.
Bye Bye Invicta. If I am saying goodbye, so will alot more other people.

Invicta warranty

I recently bought an Invicta 5216 watch which I wear as a sports watch at weekends. On first appearance the quality of the watch is very high however looks are deceiving. As a very big and heavy watch everything appears to be designed and made to suit however this is not the case.

The bracelet is heavy and in keeping with the watch however clasp is only secured by a long spring loaded pin which goes through a tube soldered to the thin end of the folding hinge. To undermine the integrity of this design the tube is made in two parts and the soldered area is less than 3mm wide which is a major weakness and insufficient to carry the weight of the watch.

On my watch one of the soldered joints has failed after 8 months of weekend wear (approximately 70 days wear in total), upon closer inspection by a watch maker he has shown me that the soldering is of poor quality containing many impurities weakening the joint.

The mark of a good company is to stand behind the quality and workmanship of their products and therefore one would not unreasonably expect that where things were not up to standard or of a sufficient quality these items would be replaced under the warranty commitment given on the product.

To my surprise Invicta offer no warranty on their bracelets or their workmanship or indeed quality whatsoever and require that I purchase a replacement clasp. To make matters worse they are unable to supply the clasp for up to 90 days. Anyone thinking of buying an Invicta watch with a bracelet should be cautious. They should check out the design and if it is as above expect problems. I was very lucky as mine came apart when I was taking the watch off otherwise I could have lost or damaged my watch if it came off when I was wearing it.

All items bought have to by law come with a 12 month warrenty. I would take some time to look thru the sales of goods act to gain some knowledge in this area and also contact consumer direct who will advice you on how to proceed in this matter.
