InventHelp quick fit

I had an idea of a flexible eyeglass frame that would adjust to any size lens...I was told that they're research found nothing like it in the market and had a great opportunity to make lots of money . ..I dished out about 20, 000 dollars and received a terrible video of how the invention would work . ..I received a letter about every other 6 months on how they submitted my idea to companies and had to wait for the companies to respond . ..I had the feeling nothing was being done and got taken for a ride...

InventHelp unethical behavior

On July 9, 2015, I met with an InventHelp representative to discuss my invention. A non disclosure agreement was signed before the meeting started. He was very professional and showed excitement for my idea. At the time I wasn't able to pay the fee for the basic package so I went home opened a new credit card and set up another appointment. On 8/20/2015, I met with InventHelp again, paid the 845.00, and waited for the results. My results came back sooner than I thought. My product was patentable for Utility Non Provisional Patent. I couldn't be happier until I was told I'd have to pay at least 10, 900 to move on to faze two. I decided not to enter into a contract to submit my idea to companies through InventHelp. I chose to go a different route. Well, it wasn't three months later I am walking through Walmart and I see a version of my product on the shelves. Please understand it was the exact version that was discussed in our meeting. Down to how it would be packaged and marketed. I have that same version in the notes that were taken on July 9th.

InventHelp idea marketing

There are a ton of things I could list but in a nutshell they Did Not Provide the Services We (partner in business and I) paid them to do. And stole our title of invention and they literally took out money from partner's bank account willingly withOUT legal permission! Ok for example, we had to Hire a photographer on our own for the photo for our brochure. Their photo did not even remotely look like our prototype and they said countless times, "that's the best we can do"! Another example, we had to write what went out to Prweb because their way of explaining our idea looked like a 4th grader writing! The video they came out with is the incorrect color of Blue, and it's light blue instead. We asked time and time again, " is really the Best you can do, even when your border is the royal blue that is what the prototype looks like?" They said, yes that's the best we can do, we do not have the color you want! So now the video is embarrassing to say the least, and gives the wrong impression altogether! So, that and their lists they send out to companies. We often wonder, were they really sent? And if so, correctly? Horrible representation of your idea, plus they treat you like you're the trouble maker, very disrespectful!

InventHelp withholding info.

I know for a fact that invent help deliberate and intentionally hid fees, charges and amounts of investments with malice intents. I specifically ask purposeful questions with the sole intents of being informed, protecting myself etc. In retrospect its become clearer that the vague answers were for the sole purpose of denying me benefits while maliciously gaining themselves by their. experienced-well put together foul-play SCAM.

InventHelp Registering and promoting inventions

We gave them an invention and we wrote a contract that they would take US$.975.00 for the registration of the idea and for the basic information package. They have taken more than 1000 dollars from us and they are asking for $15, 900 For marketing and i agreed. When i asked that my lawyer would go and sign an agreement with them...they vanished and never replied... my question if there is a way for all the victims of invent help to unite and take legal action against them and CNN which airs their add all the time and against George Foreman who promotes their product and use his name to attract victims like us to the trap. Hope we unite to take action against them.

InventHelp Patent idea - fraud

File # hwl-542-1682 u
Id [protected]
Sales rep: aaron doster

On the 15th of april, 2015 we went to your miramar location and met with your representative, aaron t. Foster.

We reviewed and discussed what invent help does, and the services which are offered. We decided to go forward with the basic information package and have our idea searched for feasibility to patent and ensure we had a market, and that the idea had not been patented already.

We filled out all the paperwork, paid our $945.00 fee and waited. Our idea is bling my flipflops, which allows wearers to change hardware on the flipflops by way of a snap. These could be stones, flowers, etc.

We received notice from aaron that our research was back and went into the office to review the results.

The results came back showing a large market availability and that the idea was indeed patentable. Aaron was quick to then point us to the next step which was one of three options, the standard, vip galleria and the premium.

Based on the results we received from inventhelp, specifically that the item was patentable, we elected to go into the premium package and on july 2, 2015 we paid the additional $15, 350.00.

It has been a painful experience since you received our money. We have had to push to get information, having to place multiple calls to ask where we are in the process, and to receive the materials promised in your package. Quite frankly, it has taken multiple back and forth on the drawings and text for you to get it right, despite very specific drawings from us and corrections. They seem to be ignored.

We received documentation from the patent attorney that we were proceeding and again, we sat back and waited.

After more than a year, we finally believed we were moving as we received communication that we were starting to be marketed…

Now this week, after receiving our second rejection letter stating that our product was too similar to other products on the market, we became concerned and decided to take a look in the internet.

That was when we found that our idea was on the market, being sold!

Lindsay phillips has a product called switchflops. In looking closely at them it states that the idea is exactly what we submitted. Flipflops with a snap to customize the items on the flip flop. Our idea!

Their article states their idea has been patented since 2004 and has won a variety of awards for innovation on the design….

How is it that inventhelp did not bring this up during the research and discovery? We submitted into the premium package and paid the additional $15, 350.00 based solely on the premise that our idea was unique and could be patented.

This is pure negligence at best by inventhelp and its team, or worse, fraud and theft. We would never have continued had this been brought to our attention, which it should have. There is no circumstance in which this 2004 patent on an idea exactly like ours, would not have been found and presented if indeed inventhelp does what it says it will do with the original $945.00 fee.

We are now almost 2 years in, and out of a great deal of money based on incompetence by your organization.

We want our money refunded in full within 30 days, or we will seek legal recourse, including looking into a class action lawsuit, as we can only imagine how many times inventhelp has done this to other individuals.

Awaiting your reply,

The same exact thing happened to me and I'm out $9, 000 and my project is all wrong. I would like to start a class action suit against Inventhelp. Would you like to join me? There are hundreds of people who have gone through the same thing. My email is aquinones29@aol.com. My phone is [protected]. Sorry you have gone through this but I know exactly how you feel. InventHelp My son spent $7,000 with inventhelp; but his idea was already patented!

My son lost $7, 000 with InventHelp last year (I was co-signer and gave him the money). Then, two weeks ago, my son received a phone call from his ex-salesman (who had left the company) and apologized to him for lying about the effectiveness of InventHelp's services.

The ex-salesman said that he received a huge commission when my son paid InventHelp's excessive fees. His commissions were upward of $1, 500 per client and InventHelp also paid bonuses for selling the most expensive services.

When first contacted, InventHelp told my son that his invention was patentable and new. Little did he know at the time, but neither claim was true. Now, two years later, I hired a patent attorney who found a patent that was exactly identical to my son's idea. To make matters worse, his idea was already selling in a major catalog (Sharper Image).

So, why didn't InventHelp uncover this vital piece of information in their initial research? It's because they don't perform a proper patent search, nor do they check the market to find out if the idea is already selling somewhere. Had they told him that his idea was already patented and on the market - he would have saved thousands of dollars! This is why InventHelp is a total scam!

Also, the ex-salesman from Inventhelp told my son that they "accept" 99.9% of the ideas submitted to them - even if the idea is technologically unfeasible.

The worst part is, InventHelp accepts the same idea from many "inventors." So, if a client submits an idea for a "new" toy - InventHelp may have accepted the same toy-idea from 10 other people in the past (which may already be patented!). So, none of these 10 people could ever earn royalties because they all had the same idea! This sounds highly unethical.

Next, I decided to call the US Patent Office, and they confirmed my worst fears. They said that companies like InventHelp will not spend the money to pay a skilled patent lawyer for a thorough, in-depth patent search and a legal opinion of patentability. Consequently, the majority of the ideas that InventHelp is promoting are most-likely patented or could be manufactured already and currently for sale.

I've also come to learn that this type of company (invention promoters) bring-in $15M- $25M (that's millions) per year - and their results are usually slim to none. Meanwhile, the owners of such companies earn Five Million Dollars per year in profit. No wonder they can create the appearance of success for their clients. They can easily afford to create slick advertising materials and videos to make at least a few clients look successful. Unbelievably, InventHelp has paid to have a few ideas manufactured and then they claim to have marketed these items.

Finally, InventHelp has expert lawyers who scare patent law advocates, consumer protection organizations, The US Patent Office, patent attorneys and patent-related websites. With a profit of Five Million Dollars per year - they can afford to sue lots of invention "watch dogs" to protect their cash-cow at all costs!

Meanwhile, my son was a victim of this company that preys on the hopes and dreams of unsuspecting, good people. Somehow they're getting away with this rip-off, but eventually law enforcement will get them for fraud.

InventHelp - Fraudulent business. Scam.

June 21, 2016. I invented a product and needed help getting started because I didn't know how. InventHelp Their basic package & lawyers review

I bought it the 1st time & then went back a 2nd time the guy got so pushy & mad because I didn't have the funds to buy the premier package & I asked about just patenting then he told me about financing but I had to come up with 3 grand and again I couldn't do it the man stop returning my calls...

Ok so now I contact a law firm who just does the patent part I send them all my inventhelp stuff books and all he emails me links to show me where I have been lied too the thing I wanted to patent was already on the market in the same form and their lawyer had told me it was not in his written report

Now I get a call from someone in corporate asking me what the issues was wanting me to take my complaint down promising to send me 400 dollars for the lawyer fees
(but it was not even covering the cost of the lawyers fee)
I was in agreement to remove the comment consider it addressed but then I read the form she wanted signed

The form voided the original agreement and made my invention even thought not original and my 1st one under no contract of confidentially... I exempted me from any legal proceeding in future...

So I wrote back saying that in it current form I could not sign she never responded

InventHelp Failure to advertise and market invention

Please be advised that I introduce my ideal to local office in miramar florida in may 11, 2011. My product had it patent issued on march 25, 2014, and since then invent help is suppose to be advertising and marketing my product. My product is called carpo glove by ron jon, this is a device for carpal tunnell syndrome sufferers. It is a glove that extend the fingers to relive the pain of the
Injury, I know that if invent help has been promoting/advertising my product as they should. I know, that by now out of the 300 or, so companies on the company submission report their should have been at least one reply. Because, their have not been any replies by any of the companies, I now know without a shadow of doubt that my product is not being advertise and marketed properly, this is a one of a kind invention that I know should at least arouse the curiosity of some companies. I have spoken twice to two of invent help "belligerent representative" only to be disrespected and ignored. I have ask that invent help send me exactly what information that they are sending to the companies on the company submission report. Invent help has failed to reply or send me and of the information that I requested. I have also filed a complaint with consumer complaint agency about the facts mentioned above and awaiting their final reply.

Thank you

InventHelp My idea

I had an idea and the man I talked with told me I didn't need a patent pending for my idea. He told me I needed 1500 dollars. I told him I didn't have that kind of money. He told mme if I could get 7oo hundred in 3 months we could start the process. I am legal blind so there was no way I could come up with it. My idea was to put zip locks on dog food bags. A couple months later I go to buy dog food and it has zip lock on the bag.

InventHelp beware of aaron t. doster and invent help

Aaron T. Doster a rep for invent help took $780.00 to get an FDA approval. What I got back had nothing to do with the FDA. In the next meeting with Aaron T. Doster he requested $10, 000 to continue with the work he( Aaron T. Doster) was going to do for me. Mr. Doster informed me that i was approved for financing at 33%. When I question this unbelievable intrest rate he started telling me I had it wrong and gave me different numbers that made no sence at all. when I point this out he ( Mr. Doster) sounded like someone caught with there hand in the cookie jar. He apparently had no logical excuse. It was obvious that he couldn't even keep track of his own lies. When I asked about the FDA report I was told by Aaron T. Doster the there was no such thing for my product, I was also told that there was no reason for a patent. Both of these are false. So beware of Aaron T. Doster and Invent help. I'm still trying to get my money back.

i went to invent help in cranberry pa. i had drawings in detail of my invention. the rep. was very pushy. told me it was great and told me what it would cost. told him i had to save for the investment. he asked if i had a credit card. i told him yes but i will not go in to debt to do this. he got mad, told me i was not serious about my invention, took all the brochures from me . the meeting was over. invent help is a scam. if they do not make money the reps dont have a job.think a little? i refused to give money right away and this rep got mad. he needed the pay, and we can all see this. my invention has progressed on my own. from drawings to prototype. it may take a bit but well worth it. i now worry that invent help did not steal my idea. God be with the honest inventor

InventHelp Taking lots of money no results

Had several meetings with people working for the company. Then after they had conviced us it was one of the best invention they had ever seen and so well thought out and designed and would have such a huge impact on heating and cooling and storage that they would call right then and help get a loan from a company they used and for us to go ahead and write check for three thousand and they would take money out each month for three years with quite a lot of interest they had us really fooled after they got money very seldom could talk to a human again on phone r any contact from them at all we lost around $20, 000.00 dollars and we felt like fools we usually were always so careful of what we did when investing. This time we were believers i'm a company that builds hope
And dreams can be achieved after all the time and work put into an invention that could have helped so many

They are the I told you so, and they never forget anything. They always breakout the samples of my stupidity the book with my picture in it that cost me a cool 8, 000. Dollar it hurt just to say the numbers?. I will never try that again |. These are the people that steal in plain site and no one will help you?. They are allowed to steal your money, like pawn shop owners are allowed to buy stolen items and if I do I go to jail/. There are special rules for thieves and no to protect us from them;. How do you be found guilty of a crime and be allowed to do the same thing again and again?. I want someone to stand up for me?. InventHelp 100 times a night

This commercial aimed at helping people sell inventions to companies runs about 25 times an hour 24/7. It can't be escaped. The funny thing is is that the spokesman even advises the listener that most inventions are failures. Two points for honesty. But the company's saturation advertising is beyond tolerable.

InventHelp Fraud and plagiarism

Me and my lil brother came up with an idea called the i. D. C. (Inhalant dosage counter). What brought about the idea was the fact that most of the people in our family has asthma and they would never know when their inhaler was running low to get another one. They would have 3 somtimes 4 inhalers and they all would be empty. We took it upon our selves to come up with the i. D. C.
We were both in school then and we seen a commercial on t. V. About inventhelp and how they would help u get your inventon out. My little brother who is just 2yrs younger than me drew the diagram and we sent it to inventhelp. We were then told that they would help, but we would have to send them some money to get a working model. This was in 1995 or 1996. Since we couldnt afford to send them the amount of money neeeded to come up with a working model we simply went on with our lives. Im now starting to see inhalers both dry powder and in mist form. I feel we should be compensated. I will not tell a lie and said I thought about about the dry powder inhaler but the one for the mist inhalants was our idea.

I'm looking over reviews, Due to my involvement with invent help. About the Mist inhaler. What the hell do you expect? You didn't figure out a way to patent the idea. So what do you expect. Do you know who patented the product? was it someone from invent help? Or your just pissed. Tell you what I came up with the wheel. DON'T YOU THINK EVERYONE IN THE WORLD WHO USES IT SHOULD SEND ME MONEY? Most of all the reviews I see as complaints derived from being lazy, excuses and so on... there are so many complaints to how much money people spend. What the hell do you people expect? some lawyer, scientist to work for free with the hopes that your patent will get picked up and you will have some money to pay them in the future. To the brother and sister that did nothing about the mist inhaler. I hope you learned something from it.

William I am not sure if you work for the crooks or just are pointing out the obvious and do not know the history of the company. I never lost a dime because once I got beyond the first page of goggle where Inventhelp knows most wont keep digging, the truth about AKA Davidson, AKA Submissions Company, and the various other names they have been sued under by the SEC flooded in.
That no one has shot the owner or staff is baffling and shows the difference between ripping people off at the street level and ripping people off as white color criminals. For those wondering if i have a grudge let me tell you that as an experienced business owner one piece of info told me...and anyone paying attention all you need to know about Inventhelp. Due to the over 20 years of scamming tens of thousands the COMPANY IS REQUIRED BY LAW TO LIST THE NUMBER OF CLIENTS OVER EACH TWO YEAR PERIOD AND THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE THAT HAD SOME FORM OF SUCCESS.
You will see that for 2014-16 Inventhelp had 7039 customers and with their amazing platform one would expect lots of smiling faces. Was the number 10 % as in 700 were cash positive? Well maybe that's too optimistic so lets hope it was 5% ( 350) who took in more cash than they gave the company.
Ok let's be fair because inventions as we know are hard to promote so lets give Mr Davidson a break and just look for a 2% (140 approx) success rate.
SO ARE ALL YOU WOULD BE INVESTORS READY TO HEAR WHAT iNVENTHELP WILL DO FOR YOU...THEY SURE MADE 35 PEOPLE HAPPY!
Well maybe not happy but less than o.5 percent of the 7039 actually had more dollars (not profit) handed to them than they handed to the awesome Invention promotion company you are now considering to build your dreams with.
So in short, while Inventions are hard to promote, at least a little less than 0.5 % of you can look forward to that day in the future when Inventhelp can proudly say they gave you at least $1 more than the $10, 000 plus average than customers gave them...
I am sure those who you with an idea can fail at the same rate of 99.5 % that those you would trust are failing and You might want to look at the average return for $10, 000 spent on lotto tickets instead!
