I have purchased the 10 piece Ultrex cookware from HSN about 5 years ago. I followed all instructions for cookware, no metal utensils, etc.. Now the lifetime warranty is not being honored by Innova or HSN. I would like to send them back to be replaced or refunded purchase price.

I bought 4 or five different sets.
I wasn't even aware of the Teflon issue until recently, from a movie!
Mine are also loosing the non stick coating. Had I been aware that Teflon was a health hazard I wouldn't have wasted my money. I would have splurged on stainless steel and bought less. Luckily, I cook with my cast iron more than anything else.
And people wonder why cancer is so common. 😠
Is there still an on going lawsuit? If so add me too.

Peeling teflon, is there any way to remove the Teflon and retain the cast iron pot?

have pots from Ultrex peeling and it is nasty. Knew they were guaranteed for life. Apparently, HSN did not care about those who purchased over $1000 in Ultrex because I knew nothing of a class action suit; but here it is 2015, my pans are peeling like ripe bananas or clementines, and I am just going to have to toss them I suppose. I will never purchase anything from HSN again! I hope everyone bans against HSN because of this, as well as good housekeeping. Bah humbug.

I bought the same set 10 years ago and as most of you have commented..it lasted maybe 5 years before it began to chip and I followed the directions..no metal utensils..etc. The bottom of both skillets that came with the set i bought now have a coating of what appears to be RUST! Really? This is absurd. Actually, this company has put all other companies at risk that offer "75 year" or "lifetime" warranties...will you have faith in that type of promise anymore? I won't...

I am very disappointed that I can no longer use my pot. . It was the perfect size for many of the foods I make. Is their any way to repair it? Is it not cast Iron underneath?

I bought the 10 piece Ultrex and it also is peeling. Please include me in this class action law suit, also HSN should be held responsible because they stood behind this company to get us to buy Ultrex pots and pans. Janet Frazee

I don't have a teflon coated set. I was cooking with mine and water ran all over the stove from a hole in the pan.

I too have the same problem with the peeling with my Ultrex pans. I am afraid what these toxins can do to our bodies. If this is made out of Teflon, we should all stop using these pans because once it gets in our system there is no way for it to come out since it goes into our cells. Teflon will be banned by the FDA in 2015. WHY WAIT UNTILL THEN? I called the number I was once given and Ultrex is now out of business. I was once so excited to have these pots but extremely disappointed now.

I too bought the Ultrex cookware...two sets! Like all of you the teflon is peeling and I came on line to fine out how to get replacements for two frying pans only to find out the company went out of business.
My disappointment is with HSN for not notifing it's Ultrex customers to make us aware the warrenties were no longer valid due to the company going out of business.
HSN could have then offered some sort of compensation towards another HSN cookware set.

I will not be a part of a class action suit!

HSN if your reading this, make it right, stop sending your customers to google or other web sites. Think about saving your customers and reputation or you too could potentially go out of business.

I was given a set for my wedding 5 years ago, and am having the same problem - all the pots and skillets are peeling! Who is filing a class action suit anyway?

I also bought the Ultrex II cookwear and was told by HSN yesterday that they are no longer honoring the lifetime warranty. I was told "GOOGLE ULTREX and see if you can get any info that way!" I thought why should I GOOGLE it I bought the product from you not from GOOGLE you sold me that crock about a lifetime warranty not GOOGLE why should I have to do that!

My mom bought 2 sets back in 2003 from HSN, Art was such a good salesman and she gave me one set. I love it, but yes I do agree some of the coating is peeling off. On one of my pans the botton have a bubble buckling and I also would like to be included is the class action lawsuit, cause someone should be responsible for the warranty, espcially when you pay hundreds of dollars for alot of pieces. I am mostly disappointed in the ultrex indoor grill, its totally peeling and food sticks to it.

I just got on here to find a number to call to have a innova skillet replaced. the handle came off of it. SO i take it that I am out of luck, great. I also want to ve included in the class action law suit. I feel they should honor their warrenty, I bought this product in good faith.

I too bought the 17 piece Ultrex cookware set. I have had the same problem, peeling interior and handles falling off or chipping. In my opinion, not only should HSN be responsible to replace or make a refund, but also Good Housekeeping. Please include me in a classaction suit.

I have a full set of this cookware and all the nonstick surface is rubbing away. 75 year warranty is worthless-- this stuff is only seven years old. HSN will not honor the warranty. It was never recalled. I am stuck. HSN says that it is a "manufacturer's warranty" and they can do nothing. The manufacturer is out of business.

OK, I really didn't need a 75 year warranty, but a 25 year warranty would be nice. At least a 10 year warranty. I am mostly mad at HSN for not screening what they sell. My faith was in HSN, not this stupid company.

I am not mad at the company, I am mad at HSN. This was how this stuff was hyped! It was sold as having the approval and support of HSN! Now they are just nice on the phone, but say there is nothing they can do-- yes, it is no longer their problem.

I also purchased a complete set of Ultrex cook ware from HSN and several pots/pans have peeled off their nonstick surface and now I'm stuck with no place to honor the life time warranty.

Bought cookware set from hsn . Called them up and they stated that the company went out of business. Who is going to honor the warranty. I just need one pot replaced. I guess the lifetime warranty only applies when the company stays in business. So what happens to the warranty they promised to sell their product.
