I totally agree to the former blog, i also underwent the same torture in innodata-isogen. Its a very bad company full of politics and bull ### management.more than 80% are illiterates and schedule casts. Regarding anamka puri, she s a ###.she sleeps with the resources to give them appraisals. Rahul tiwari is the biggest mother ###er alive. He is there to do only politics and nothing else. He is getting the package of 26 lacs but does not deserve even a penny of that. I hope the Income tax guys are listening.

I'm sorry about your bad experiences guys, but for me, I like Innodata very much, I worked there for 2 years 2000-2002. The Managers that time were nice. Everybody were friends, there was peace and I earned enough money. I like the overtime too... More money, hehehehhe! I was able to help my family a bit, which is good. I have nothing bad to say about Innodata, it was fun!!! Thankssss very much...

Innodata Isogen is a real company but i agree to the previous post wherein the production people are not getting enough what they deserve and only the Higher positions are enjoying the right benefits and salary. One thing more about innodata is they don't have enough competitive managers..some of their manager are not competitive in the sense that they don't look for more other ways to make work easier and a better. Most of them also does not fight productions rights such as incentives and other benefits...as long as they have their own..don't mind the production..I can't see the professionalism in Innodata Cebu..we know who are our superiors but they have not met us even once formally, not even introduced once to the team. or haven't discuss anythings to the group regarding increase, status of project or complimenting the team for a job well done...The only reason why they are still running is, there is not enough jobs in the area so jobless educated people are force to work in order to be productive.

In my opinion, Innodata Mandaue was once an "okay" company. I previously worked there as an indexer/abstractor. The pay was considerably good especially if you render overtime work, wherein you can get incentives/bonuses, and work-life balance is near perfect. When another team leader/manager joined our project sometime in the third quarter of 2007, however, everything changed. You cannot be promoted even if you are productive or excelled at work unless you "kiss the TL's/TM's [censor]." Another thing that bothered me during that time was: "How come the project I've worked for is the only one having two team leaders?" Surely, Innodata has lots of office politics. What's worse? Most Bachelor's Degree holders working at the company are only paid minimum wage, which is an insult. For those who badly need a job similar to Innodata's, do not apply for a job there. You deserve a career that is worth your degree.

I agree. I used to work with innodata, in Cebu, Philippines. But I guess whichever branch, the feedback are the same regarding the company and its people. Well, the company would not have bad treatment towards its employees had it not been for the kind of managers hired by the company.. Whats worse is that, innodata, practices the FORCED LEAVE method with their employees. First they hire you for a project term (like 1yr, or 5yrs.) but somewhere in between they will put you on Forced Leave.. and then start to let you work again or if possible, go through the start again with a new contract.. And for as long as you don't complain, you will be given a job there. That's just a small fraction of how they make money... They get full payments.. in dollars from their clients, and they only give minimal in salary to their employees, in Philippine pesos, and then they put employees on FL from time to time.. BUT the money given by the client has been invested already in Stocks, Bonds, you name it.. they are up to date when it comes to making the money grow.. And that is just how good and fair they are, have been, and perhaps.. always will be. So choose well on where you want to work. This is just my advice.

I am ex employee of Innodata, named since it was, now Isogen. The company is full of Pahadi employees mostly Himalayan terraces and Biharis, some illiterate locals. The company salary is genuine as it should be for an Indian, and payroall is also updated on time. But the main problem are positions level persons, suppose a peon promote to officer, suppose a data entry operator promote manager...what they will think...sure full of ego in brain drain. This is the problem, no body respects each other, there HTML, encoder is more qualified, more experienced than an Asst. manager, or manager, . manager thinks himself like CEO of New Jersy based org. The company announce vacancy in every two month and employees quit every day. Now questions ? who will do perfect job, project will not pass to transmit at 99% accuracy level to the client...and finally will be unsatisfactory result, shut down the company or [censored] down HRD, managerials positions. Is Rohilla gandu alive there, is janmjay rathode still getting [censored] by seniors, where is Misra ji, Meenakshi mangotra, I forgot many names, [censored] them all

so, full of ### as lighthouse softtware cebu www.lighthouseip.com ?

lighthouse softtware cebu and the world wide company lighthouse ip group = NOT a stable company

In Cebu (lapu-lapu), more than 400 employees where dismissed the last working day of July 2012 without pay. After a week, lighthouse Software Cebu Inc. informed us that we can come to the office for an advance of 200 peso (4, 5 USD only), instead of a full months salary. 200 peso barely covers the cost for transport to the office, this is ridiculous. A complain is filed with DOLE, the Philippines Department of Labor and Employment. The remaining lighthouse employees are only paid a part of their salary. Late payments are ongoing for a year already and escalated since june 2012.
We hear that other offices face the same problems, no health care paid in China for + 300 employees since years, payment delays for up to months in Vietnam, Thailand, ... but the big bosses fly around in a private jet and go to the most exquisite hotels, such as http://www.shangri-la.com/cebu/mactanresort

I recommend not to work there, you never now when or if you will receive your money.
Some long term employees start to look for another job, or left already.

Lighthouse Software Cebu Inc. part of Lighthouse IP Group, CEO Willem Geert Lagemaat from the Netherlands, was summoned by DOLE for a hearing on the 16th of August because of not paying salaries.

    It started in june
we all had to work 2 saturdays and 1 double pay (national holiday). we werent paid until july 16
and the july 16 pay was 70% of the july 15 salary

    and it gets worse.
we got the 30% of july 15 pay along with 15% of the june 30 pay almost end of july

we did not get the remaining 75% of june30 pay until late july
some did not report to work
some did but they were just talking or roaming around
the problem with Willem Geert Lagemaat, CEO Lighthouse IP Group is, he kept promising; " there will be no delay for the july 30 pay"
He kept giving dates when the salary will be released but nothing ever arrived

Lighthouse Software Cebu hired new people for a new project in August (13 employees) and there are 'recently posted' open vacancies at the Lighthouse IP Group website and in Cebu jobsites although they can't pay over due salaries and the regular employees in Cebu also haven't received their full salary yet, the HR-staff isn't paid for July and August, 2 months without pay.

Statement from Lighthouse HQ - 09/27/2012

To our project staff from Cebu

    Dear team,

Over the first half of this year we have been actively involved in
executing the trademark project. During the financial reporting over
the first 6 months it became clear that we have made a significant
loss on this project, resulting in immidiate cash flow restraints from
July. You have all experienced this in the fact that part of the July
salary and the 13th month have not been paid. This is something that
we regret hughly, and we are fully aware that this has major impacts
    on your personal life.

This statement is to confirm that we are going to pay the outstanding
amounts. We are working on getting the cashflow stabilized and
organize the funding needed for this cost. However, this is a process
that has taken longer than planned, and we will have to ask for some
patience as we work through this. We will be making a partial payment
by October 15th to all project staff, and will then also be able to
    confirm remainder payment.

We know that this is asking another support effort from you, but this
is needed to be able to resolve the current situation. Additionally we
need to ask you to refrain from being publically vocal on this as this
results in additional problems and added delays. We fully understand
the emotion but we need stability and support to solve this. The team
in Cebu is supporting you fully in resolving this, so please stand by
    them in their efforts.

THE Department of Labor and Employment (Dole) 7 is expected to issue an order to a company to pay 480 employees their unpaid wages and proportionate 13th month pay.

That, after Lighthouse IP Cebu reportedly failed to pay the employees P2.7 million in wages.

Check our new look and tell us what you think.

Dole tri-city field office supervisor Rogen Cumba said their agency received emailed complaints from employees last July 5 about the company’s failure to release their salaries following termination and completion of their projects.

Cumba said his office inspected the Lighthouse IP at the Mactan Export Processing Zone 2 last Aug. 8 and held two conferences with the management.

The company officials reportedly admitted they could not release the salaries of the employees because the funds from their main office, based in the Netherlands, had not arrived. “They are willing to pay. But they were unable to get funds from the mother company.”

Cumba is preparing an order directing the company to release the salaries and other benefits of the 480 terminated employees and is finalizing the list of employees who should be paid.

He said that once the order is received, the company will have 10 days to comply with it. Within the 10-day period, they also have the option to file a motion for reconsideration or make an appeal. He added that the order could be issued within the week.

The order will compel Lighthouse IP to release the unpaid wages of the employees for the period July 11 to 25 and July 26 to 31.

For now, he said the company has retained 50 employees to continue operations.

In a press statement yesterday, Lighthouse IP Group acknowledged “experiencing some financial difficulties.” But it said it “remains bullish in doing business in the Philippines.”

The company said they owe project-based employees salaries for one payday (as of July 30) and 13th month pay. The company said their contracts ended July 30.

“Lighthouse IP Group has executed a large data entry project in our local office in Cebu. Unfortunately, the project has proven to be a loss-making one, which has brought our organization into cash flow problems. We are currently resolving the matter and we planned on paying the outstanding salaries two weeks ago. Unfortunately, we are still recovering from the cash flow problems caused by this loss-making project.

Nevertheless, there is light at the end of the tunnel and we expect to be able to pay the salaries of our Cebu colleagues soon. Lighthouse Software Cebu, Inc. and Lighthouse IP Group are working closely with Dole to resolve this matter, ” the company said.

“Resolving this issue has our highest priority and we trust it will be solved soon. We are very sorry for all the problems this is causing our local staff.”

In previous press launches, Lighthouse IP described the duties of its employees as data work, non-voice projects such as data enrichment, annotation, data entry, data mining, translations; as well human, human-edited machine and purely machine translations and offers virtual employees and software development service.

Late last year, they sought to hire additional employees to work on an international trademark database where they digitize and structure trademark data from 87 countries, kept in paper stacks since 1976.

A Facebook page contains several complaints from employees, calling on the management to pay up. (PR)

Rogen S. Cumba, supervisor of the department’s field office, said the local unit of Netherlands-based Lighthouse IP Group failed to pay 430 project-based employees their salaries for the periods July 11-25 and July 26-31. The employees, whose project ended on July 31, also failed to receive their pro-rata 13th month pay.
Some 50 regular employees of Lighthouse Software Cebu, Inc. have also not received their salaries since the July 31 payday.
“Company officials said they are willing to pay, only that they don’t have the money, ” Mr. Cumba said.
He said company representatives, in two meetings held last month, explained they were waiting for funds from company headquarters to pay the workers.
A statement issued by company headquarters in The Netherlands yesterday afternoon assured that the salaries will be paid soon.
“Resolving this issue has our highest priority and we trust it will be solved soon. We are very sorry for all the problems this is causing our local staff, ” the company said in a statement.
The company said it suffered from cash flow problems in the project for which 430 workers were hired.
“The earlier mentioned cash flow problem is only temporary and after this is resolved, our organization will create more economic and employment opportunities for Cebu and (its) people, ” the company said, adding it remained optimistic on its business prospects in the Philippines.

i don't know what kind of ### they (LHIP) are saying, they said they are willing to pay us, but they don't have the funds! what kind crap is that?... at the first place how can they pay us if they don't have the funds... man I've waited long and they've pushed my patience to its core. how can they do this to us?.. we've worked hard for them and yet they didn't treated us what we deserve... i have dues to pay i have a family, people i owed expect me to pay but i cannot since they didn't pay us... they do business here in the Philippines because people here are kind and tolerant but sometimes enough is enough... i wish our government should do something about this kind of companies... make some laws or some sort of fail safe implementations in case this kind of things happen, of course they must favor it to us filipinoes. i hope LHIP will pay us and pay us soon cause we've already waited to long.

Dole orders Lighthouse IP Group to pay workers

Mactan Economic Zone (MEZ) 2 locator Lighthouse IP Group owes over 400 former employees P2.7 million in wages and 13th month pay, a Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) 7 official said Tuesday.

Rogen Cumba of DoLE 7 said the department is set to issue this week an order directing the Cebu office of the Netherlands-based intellectual property specialist to pay 480 workers who did not receive their salaries for the period July 11-25 and July 26-31.

Since 430 of the employees ceased working for the company as of August 1, they are also to be given their 13th month pay computed according to the length of time they’ve worked for Lighthouse IP this year, Mr. Cumba, who is the department’s Tri-City Field Office (TCFO) supervisor, added.

Mr. Cumbra revealed that in two meetings last August with company representatives, they explained they were waiting for funds from company headquarters to pay off workers.

Lighthouse IP Group said in its website that it operates in eight countries including the Philippines and offers IP, translation, outsourcing, and software development services, among others.

Mr. Cumba said labor department investigators visited the Lighthouse office in Lapu-Lapu City last August 8 after receiving a complaint emailed by one of the 430 workers whose work contracts ended in July.

According to him, Lighthouse has 10 days from receipt of the labor department’s order to either comply or file a motion for reconsideration.

“Company officials said they are willing to pay, only that they don’t have the money, ” he stressed, adding that Lighthouse IP might need to sell off some of its assets so it could pay the wages of its former employees.

    still did not pay

Willem Geert Lagemaat and Christa Deinum married in March 2012, did they maybe use all the company cash-flow and our salaries for the wedding or do they think our salaries are their wedding present?

Promises for payment we had enough, we still did not receive our salaries, there is only one word for; DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR beyond any rules of humanity, also in the Netherlands where the Lighthouse HQ is this can't be normal.

Christa Deinum and Willem Geert Lagemaat; Where are our salaries, more than 2 months toooooooooooooo late. Is this normal in the Netherlands ?????????????

Christa Deinum and Willem Geert Lagemaat; HOW LOOOOONG do you think we can keep on waiting ?????????????????

A nice text regarding Christa Deinum below. It would be really nice and not just talk if we finally received our salary

Since Christa Deinum joined; the company has been growing ever since!" they write at Christa Deinum | Lighthouse IP Group | Lighthouse IP Group

Christa Denum; Where are our salaries, more than 2 months toooooooooooooo late. Is this normal in the Netherlands ?????????????

Christa Deinum has been working in the IP industry for numerous years. She studied Business Development, Politics and Management at the Haagse Hogeschool in The Netherlands. Before her adventure in the Intellectual Property industry she worked in several different business areas which brought her a broad range of experience. Next to working for a law firm she managed a job agency for some time.

Christa Deinum started her career in the IP business about 7 years ago when she worked as a sales executive for Univentio. When the company was acquired by a division of Reed Elsevier, she stayed there for about half a year. At that time Christa Deinum already knew she would prefer to work more independent and so she started Scipat together with a former colleague. Then Willem Geert Lagemaat, CEO of Lighthouse IP Group, asked Christa Deinum to help him with the setup of Lighthouse in Chengdu, because of her extensive experience with Human Resources Management. She agreed to do so and stayed in Chengdu during the whole setup of the company there. Since then the company has been growing ever since!
