Ladies and Gentleman,
INFRA housing Pvt.Ltd in Kochi is a builder whose projects have not taken off in the past few years.Though he has completed good projects until 2003 the projects undertaken after that is not completed.
I had booked for a project which was launched in 2006 which us still standing skeletal. I had made my booking and paid all the money for this project. The project is just casting done till 13th Floor.
The owner George is the Chairman of the Kerala Builders Forum (KBF). He has taken up projects more than what he could chew. He is in a mess now and does not have a liquidity of even 1 lac.
Beware of making investments with the following projects of Infra Housing Pvt. Ltd.
1.INFRA VANTAGE
2.INFRA ASPIRE
3.NIPPON INFRA Q1

Joseph Chandy

To add on to the list of incompleted projects, there is Infra Proxim .We were told that the project will be completed by 2016. We have invested a lot of money into it and now this project is onhold. From all the above comments I can understand that there are lots of other projects still on the pending state.

I would like to know if there are anyone waiting for the Infra Proxim project in this group?

Thanks
Sydney

Let the builder publish the completion status scorecard especially for the projects they started after 2008. There will be no need for any mud-slinging after that. The facts will speak for itself.

No point in registering a grievance with Credai which is a Builders' Association.

Hi I am an investor in Infra Prosper and paid 80% of the total estimated amount in 2013 and now in April 2017 and still the work is in progress. Always keep postponing the dates. There is no clear cut completion of the project soon. Even if the apartment construction is completed in this year, the entire project completion will take couple of more years if they work. We need to register grievance complaint with CREDAI Kochi (credaikochi.com/grievances.php) about the builder.

Is this group still on? If so, I have an issue with their project, Verandah Gardens, which should have been completed in 2013 but still not. I don't know if it would be right for me to take an adversarial stand

I am owner of Infra Aspire kakkanad. We got the flat after a delay of two years. The car parking is very congested and difficult to park. All customers should insist and ensure the car parking space is alloted at the time of booking in order to ensure that your car can be parked . They are alloting comfortable parking only to customers whom they like. It is advisable to get the parking allotted at the time of flat booking otherwise they will cheat you. The quality of plumbing materials are substandrd and it started giving problems after two years. The quality of construction is very poor that the flat wall paintings come out as the walls are always wet due to poor quality plumbing materials used.

NEW DELHI: A real estate firm has been directed by the apex consumer commission to pay Rs 4.77 crore to seven buyers for "huge delay" in handing over apartments to them, noting that the builder had attempted to make profit at the cost of others.

The National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission bench presided by Justice J M Malik noted that the apartments booked nine years ago in Greater Noida were yet to be delivered by Unitech Reliable Projects Pvt Ltd and asked it to pay Rs 4, 77, 58, 658 with 18% interest to the seven consumers.

"There is a magic in that little word 'home'. It is a mystic circle and surrounds comforts and virtues, never known beyond its hollowed limits. However, customers are exasperated by senseless delay made by the Builder of a colony, " the commission said.

"It must be borne in mind that there is a huge delay in handing over possession of the premises in dispute, i.e., about 9 years. The opposite party (builder) has made an attempt to feather its own nest, i.e., to make profits for itself, at the cost of others' expenses. The opposite party has utilized the amount for its own purposes, " it said.

The commission also directed the firm to pay Rs 1 lakh each to the complainants for harassment and mental agony. According to the complainants, in 2006-07, the real-estate firm had advertized for availability of flats in their project 'Unitech Verve' in Sector Pi-II at Greater Noida that was scheduled to be delivered within 36 months of signing of allotment letter.

The seven complainants said that they had applied for flats, either individually or jointly, and had paid the money demanded by the builder. However, after the project got delayed, they filed a complaint before the commission in October 2012. The firm submitted before the commission that it was unable to hand over possession of apartments to them. It, however, submitted that it was ready to pay 10% interest to the consumers as per the agreement entered into between the parties. PTI

its a fact that INFRA is cheating the customers, the other example is Infra Nouvelle, the project suppose to complete in 2012 even after two years still the project is not completed with 40% overall progress. majority of the customers including me are paid with full amount thru the loan arranged by SBI with an interest rate of 11%. Now we even doubt the payment plan was another cheating game set by INFRA and Bank to cheat the customers. Because the bank approved payment plan is not consistent with construction progress. Please take it as an advise from one of the victim and not invest in any of ther projects. Biju Thomas

I am one among the affected people. I have been waiting for the handover for more than 5 years. Booked the flat in 2006. Most of the payments were made by 2008 as per their schedules. Dec 2008 was the completion date as per the contract. One of my friend warned me at the time of booking that INFRA never completed the project on time but I believed TOM, their senior sales manager. They requested for 6 month extension for their common excuse - "Recession". There is law in our country which needs to be used by all of us together for our rights.

I had to buy another flat this year at a higher cost for my family to stay.

I am ready to join all of you for fighting for a decent compensation for the delay and getting our flats at the earliest. My contact email is Sajeevan.Govindan@gmail.com. My contact number is +[protected]. Please let us come together and seek the help of law.

Thanks,
Sajeevan

My sister and I have booked flats at infravantage and have made payments in full back in 2007 . Till date ( Jan 2014) the project has not completed and dealing with Tom in Infra Vantage has big PAIN to say the least. I do completely agree to the comments made in this forum and these people are a bunch of crooks who live off others money. They seem to have an excuse for anything and everything. These builders are in no way sincere or honest and I frown on the way they do their business. Please stay off and invest your hard earned money elsewhere. My sincere hope is that these builders are punished and brought to justice. My sister and i live in the US and when my brother- in-law tried to meet with Tom and George to express his frustration when he was visiting Kerala, they never obliged . They are so good when they want your business and then after that they could care less. Stay away from these CROOKS.. If you are reading this posting and are thinking to invest with Infra, please do NOT . I guess pretty much all builders are in business to make a quick buch and could care less for customer satisfaction.

Dear Guys
Dont go with INFRA, they are not reputable and they cannot stand to their words, please dont go for any of the projects with Infra. I had taken up a flat at Infravantage. They took almost 95% and then i am walking back of them for the last 4years. Every time i meet they ask for another 6 months, and the project seems will take another 1 year. I had been to their office one day and had a very bad experience with Mr George. They talk as if why the hell we are asking them all the time, when completed they will hand over, and who ever has invested can forget and when the project is comleted they will inform, so guys dont go with Infra.Initailly they had informed they will give good fitting of reputable comp, now that i understand they are importing from china, and now who can guarantee the quality. So guys if with infra u need to add another 5 to6 years to the completion period they say. If u want to go for any of the projects with any of the builders, please ensure to make them add the delay clause.

I am originally from Ernakulam but have been living abroad for a very long time.
I am over 65 and would like to retire back home. I am looking for a retirement flat and came across 'The Verandah Gardens' at Kakanad by Infra Housing. But rather worried after reading the posts here.
Builder require payments to be made every month. It is not based on stages of construction. There is no target completion date. Nor there is any provision in the agreement about delays or compensation for delays. As with all such agreements I have come across in Kerala, it is prepared by the lawyers of the builder and is heavily one sided. Unlike in developed countries, agreements do not follow standards and guidelines set by authorities. For example, the Law Society in the UK.

So if I am to go ahead, it will have to based on trust alone.
Does any of you have any knowledge with this project?
Many thanks

Gents,
Who ever complaint against Mr. George is true and they are still constructing and keep on changing the dates. Buity is that eventhough he has collected more than 80% of the movney and informing every one that others are not paying. He is not ready to compensate for the delay. I have a booking and at this time not disclosing my name. But on I am ready to join any case against this firm.

Since you already have something like like please send me your email id so that I can reply to you personally. I would never like to put my id here as this page is more like a street of despair where everyone seems to be taking their best shots ! Waiting to hear from you.

Dear Complaint brigade !

By chance I was browsing on the web when I came across your venom spewing antics - has unemployment hit such a rate ?
I am a client of Infra's from their initial days. I have bought various units from them in the past and do have 3 units under construction.
Some of the units have been paid up for, taken possession, sold on and now I am enjoying the profits from them ! I am sure you guys are feeling "J" - tough luck guys- oopps I mean really guys ?!? ?
1 of their current project ( which I have currently invested in ) has been delayed of which they have informed me. This money we invest is also very hard earned and trust me I wouldn't risk it - but we need to be morally and ethically correct.
Dear Joseph Chandy, Kenny, Varghese Thomas, the man trying to offload his stock of pink chuddies!, Infra client, Govind Swamy, behave like ""proper"" men and discuss your problems with the builders directly. Take them to the talking table and let them answer your accusations - anyone can fight with shadows but only REALLY men can take on a challenge.
It is surprising that all you guys didn't have the b...s to call up the said builders on the numbers the provided above and challenge them to answer the concerns - the only reason I haven't done it is because I don't have a reason!
My name is Alex George and if you provide your email id or phone number I would be glad to speak to you and see if there is really anything of concern which we can take up together.

Its a shame for a builder like you!

Its no wonder that our own Chief Minister coined the term Real estate Mafia for such builders. I know of a term OPM. You real estators are people who live on Other People's Money.

The poor people have invested thier Own Personal Money and you live on them. High time you pay back the people who have invested in you. Just becasue you could not complete the project and you changed the project to a hotel and again you may turn into a hospital. This was you keep OPM rolling.

Shame Infra Shame.

Gents,

Why on earth does a Client want to make a fake complaint in a fake name. I have filed a case against this company in the court and verdict is pending. I had booked a flat in 2003 and they are yet to complete the project. Moreover I will not get another flat of that same area in todays market.

So I have asked for compensation. Any Clients new or old who need the deatils of the same may send thier e-mail Id in this column with phone nos. I will be pleased to send you all the details. And moreover I belong to the same place from this builder and I know his dealings from the past. He has put all the Clients monwy in land in diffeent names across the state.

Such builders are also responsible for the non execution of smart city as they want the share of that govt land as well.

I cant pretend like the builder does above in his comments.

Regards,
Joseph Chandy

Hi Clients,

You must advice such cheats to stop real estate business as its so unreal and start a taxi business or brothel. At least there would be happy Clients. And they will have quick money.

You all must start a campaign against them and send Pink chuddies.

Dont worry folks who are cheated by such builders. They will not go a long way. The world is changing and those who think can live on someone else's money there is one person up in the heavens who knows all.

Such cheats will die a dogs death and also thier following generations will fight to death over this earned money. They will not be able to live happily. I can quote many examples but people who have invested in such cheaters dont lose hope God will open other doors.

These cheats will not lats long.

Friends,

I am shocked as well as a bit surprised by the comments above. I personally know the BOD of this firm. However, I never expected that things could change the attitude of people so soon. As someone said all is fine when the tide is calm. Only when there are problems you know the real person.

Actually the directors should have settled the issues with thier Clients as they have to be in business. If the comments fo people suing Infra is true its very bad on part of the directors for not settling the issues with those individuals.

I have a few investments in this company and all these were on the days when the tide was calm and industry in good shape. Really sad situation. Its easy to start business but to stay in the business with good reputation is important.

I am really unable to side anyone here.

also is there no industry standards ? I mean there is an agreement in place, isn;t it Mr Chandy ? Have you decided to sue him ? You should. Such A**holes should be taught a lesson.

Also why is it that he does not collect cash from clients in stages of building but rather does it on a monthly basis ? Does this mean, he has decided to cheat from the word go ?

So basically it is a lottery whether u get a flat or you lose your money. Infra lottery company ?

Every Builder these days are in the same mess, They take our hard earned money and then they lift hand saying recession. We end up paying EMI and waiting for these idiots to build.

Why do they start a project is it is not financially viable ? Is it some lottery game or a well planned execution of a project ?

Bunch of ###s ! Parasites ! They suck up our blood and live without a bother.

I could say more and spit at them but i will stop because i will only be wasting my breathe

Well Joseph, what can we do ? maybe we should approach the consumer forum and get redressal.

Hope these guys rot for bringing added tensions by robbing our hard earned money.
