Infobahn Technologies Response to Defamatory Postings

We are posting this as attorneys for Empower IT, Inc., d/b/a Infobahn Technologies (“Infobahn”) to respond to false and defamatory statements concerning Infobahn that have been posted on this site. Infobahn is a successful and reputable IT consulting company based in Massachusetts that has a national client base, including numerous Fortune 500 companies. Infobahn’s success depends, in large part, on its continuing ability to attract the most talented consultants to provide the highest level consulting services to its clients. To that end, Infobahn offers its employees competitive salaries and benefits, and the opportunity to work on the cutting edge of the technology industry. It also devotes substantial resources to its employees’ immigration issues and has assisted numerous employees in obtaining their green cards for the past eleven years. Infobahn is quite proud of the benefits it provides to its employees and the good reputation it has built and is quite troubled to see false, unsubstantiated, and anonymous postings that could be injurious to Infobahn’s reputation in the market and its ability to attract talented consultants. Please be advised that Infobahn has demanded that the site operator remove false and baseless complaints and comments concerning Infobahn and provide Infobahn with available information concerning the identities/e-mail addresses behind the defamatory postings. Infobahn intends to conduct further discovery as necessary to identify persons posting false statements concerning Infobahn so that it may pursue defamation claims to protect its reputation.

Free speech is, of course, a right to be encouraged in our society. It is not, however, a license for persons to make anonymous defamatory allegations in the guise of providing information to those seeking employment with Infobahn or other companies. That is particularly the case where, in light of the very nature of the target audience of websites such as this, the defamatory statements could cause talented IT consultants to forego good employment opportunities and cause financial damage to reputable companies by impairing their ability to hire prospective employees, generate revenue, and maintain their reputation with employees and clients. Anonymous postings eliminate the ability to verify the source or accuracy of information posted. It is all too easy for employers unable to compete with reputable companies such as Infobahn on a level playing field to resort to the posting of defamatory statements to try to gain an unfair advantage in competing for talented consultants or for a former employee working for a competitor to defame his former employer by publishing intentionally false and damaging statements. Infobahn will not allow such defamation to continue unchecked and is prepared to take all necessary steps to identify the persons making the defamatory statements.

We challenge the person or persons posting information about Infobahn to identify themselves publicly on this site and to contact this office. Truth is a defense to a defamation action and anyone who posted truthful information about Infobahn would have no reason to hide their identity. We also encourage anyone who has any questions or concerns about Infobahn to contact us so that we can resolve any questions or concerns you may have.

You should write a FULL review of your experience with this consulting firm in detail so others can learn from it.

Basically there are lot of new fradulent consulting companies posting fake jobs all over the job boards to scam unsuspecting desperate job seekers. These firms are registered thru a PO Box with a internet phone number while the real crooks operating from So. India from places like Bangalore, Madras, Culcutta, etc. These are former IT consultants that used to work here and went back to india after their visas expired. so they run these scams now.

Things to watchout for:
- They will post fake jobs in locations other then their home areas. Never trust anyone
calling you for a job in NY while they are registered in atlanta etc..
- Be very cautious if they speak with a heavy indian accent and do not answer the calls.
- Always check up on the website and the recruiter to see if its not a PO Box operated
business.
- Do not send a resume to anyone that does have their full name, address, and ph number
on the job posting.
- Never send your resume with personal info unless you can verify the legitimacy of the
Co.
- Most of the time your resume will never reach the hiring managers because the jobs do
not exist, however it will be used to obtain duplicate id's to conduct fraud

Infobahn Technologies Bad IT company never get caught with them

Never join this company. Do not get caught with them, they will throw magic words like 70/30, 80/20 deal with benefits, per diem basis on top of fixed paycheck, bonus, vacation and Green card process on day one.

Once you join them they will flip all their words slowly and you will end up feeding these guys more and pay for all your Attorney and immigration expenses. On top of that they will hold your one month salary.

They are big time cheaters to Federal and State government on taxes by misusing the per diem basis. There are already so many compalints made on them. I thought of share the information about this company. Never ever get caught with this company.

1. Fake and false employees with false salaries
2. User personal vacation, cars and properties as business assets and claim refunds
3. False W2s, wages, health insurance charges to employees
4. Terrorize with foul low-class language towards employee who question their ethics like tax frauds. Drag immigration process to years enslaving employees.
5. When employees take vacation they still run false payrolls
6. They filed H1Bs/greencards to friends and family members who never worked for them and ran payrolls on them
7. File law suite against employees who stood/speak up.
The list will never end. IRS, INS, ICE are by far dumbest depts to let such terrorist run business

Not only they were penalized by DOL but also they went after the ex-employees who participated in the DOL investigation. This company has no ethics and please don not believe on their words.

As mentioned in one of the posting as soon as you join they will flip their words and you end up in trap and yes they won't give you anything in writing. Avoid this company...

Please please avoid this company by all means -- as much as you can.

The company has no ethics, no policy, no humanity, no honesty, no truth, no justice, no transperancy, no consistency, no heart.

They are extremely dangerous - whether you are a woman / disabled / person new to US / person with no money -- they have an excellent plan to cheat and extract your blood and sweat at any cost !

** This company has been audited/fined/alerted many times by Govt./DOL/Labor/INS departments - still the suffering of the consultants / legal related/ salary / job related issues created by company have not reduced.

*** Hope the ultimate savior of all - the all mighty God will save the good people from these people !

I agree. They Cheat on 1 months salary telling all the crap.Avoid this company like plague. They did this to all my friends who were with them and will still do this very professionally. If you join the client after several years of working for this company they file a case against you no matter what you do.None of the management has ethics. They never send your GC application on time and will not let anyone talk to their lawyers, no transperency at all. They lie about billing rates as well.If the vendor pays 70, these guys tell you that they are getting 67.They overcharge for your H1 and GC and deduct from the salary. They never give the correct offer letter, they'll mention very less salary.
