Indiamart is a total rubbish company, who only knows how to get money from its users but fail to provide any benefit or services to them.
I purchased a catalog from them which wasn't doing much good after numerous complaints they came to me and offered an upgrade package which included trust seal, buy leads and premium listng.
They offered us 600 credit points and 3 categories for product listing.
We purchased a some buy leads as per the credit points, in the first deal the customer who posted the requirements didn't make any contact back, when we complained about this to Indiamart they stated the requirements are fulfilled.
Second time we again purchased a lead this time the contact numbers were totally wrong, I complained again, till date Ihave recd no confirmation as to what has become of that complaint, wrote several emails and called and they say we have sent u a mail already, i asked them to resend the same mail, they we can't.
I raised the same complaint again and called in the same regard, they promised that they will send a representative at my office but no one appeared, not even they replied to my mails.
Further more we purchased 2 more buying leads out of which again on one no body is replying or making a contact, nobody even picks up the phone.
It seems that they are generating fake buying leads or just posting that they are verified but they are not legitimate.
The reps who come to complete their own targets they say that buying lead is the best way to do business as they get verified and in case there is some issue like number not correct or no response we will get our money back.
Ofcourse, incase the party doesn"t approve of our rates that is a different scenario, atleast they are communicating, but out of 4 buying leads we haven't received a single reply from the rest of the parties, I am wondering if this is another scam.
I really want some answers here or this going to be dealt with really strcitly.

Indiamart Intermesh Ltd. is not giving my salary of December 2008.When i resigned i was assured to get my dues on date.But many times I went to Indiamart, but all i heard different excuses.I wound suggest everyone never trust these people.
Lots of scammers on indiamart got me for 700us becareful.

Similar above has happened to me. I gave YS international new dehli, who is supposed to be a leather and silk company 3600.00 US dollars last December with claims I would be getting good in late January...this man is a total fraud. He creates fake labels saying he has shipped items and he seems credible on india mart. I cannot believe india mart does not do more to protect their name, as well as customers! We will not be going through this trade site again unless this issue is taken care of. YS is a total fraud and I have been doing international trade for 10 years and have never had an encounter such as this! Unbelievable how YS international is such a fraud and he is still allowed to be operating on on India, art. A total shame!

I paid Rs.6000 to PERUL SANITARY INDS, DELHI, who also registered him self as KINGS SANITARY as he bear TRUST SEAL OF INDIA MART. Even after 3 months I did not get my materials. Is INDIA MART also FRAUD, how they provide trust seal to such cheaters !
Well I was about to invest in the same program provided by India Mart But thanks for posting the reality I guess these people are taking benefit from Small Entrepreneurs like us who looks for business ... But after reading all the complains not only about India-mart but others like Just Dial, Sulekha.com Info media Yellow Pages I think the best way to invest for marketing and advertisement is Google AD-Words... and Rest is to go for traditional way of selling the product by cold calling etc Thanks for posting above problem it saves money which very important for small entrepreneurs like us
