Ilovebodykits.com Should of research more before buying from this company

Unfortunately I did not look for reviews before buying from this company. I ordered a body kit, I actually got it in 10 days, however, one of the side skirts was cracked, and I tried to fit the bumper myself first, and it wouldn't even fit around the headlights. So I had a buddy who works in an auto body shop come by my house, we did some minor sanding around the edges of the bumper to get it to fit. He then told me, this product is a piece of [censored], and I should return it and get a refund, the amount of work that would need to be done to get this to fit properly would cost more than the bumper was worth to get, and still the fender and bumper over the wheelwell would never line up, no matter how much work was put into it.

So I put in their stupid online RMA request and told them what was going on, I then got a reply back with an RMA, I packed up the entire kit and shipped it back COD since they would not refund me shipping charges.

Well, the shipping company tried to deliver it a few times, each time they told the driver they weren't paying the charge.

I was contacted by the shipping company, SAIA, and was told they have had a few bad dealings with this company themselves, and that they currently have 2 boxes sent back COD that neither party will pay.

Anyway, I am not an @ss, so I paid the charge to SAIA, since it isn't their fault for this company's porr business habbits. In the mean time of waiting for it to be delivered to the company, I got a respnse again from the RMA department telling me they can't accept the return for the front bumper since I sanded the OUTSIDE edge. When I replied and asked why, and explained again that it doesn't matter about return because they can't resell a POS bumper that doesn't fit the vehicle anyway, they completely ignored my numerous emai's, and the supposed GM, Henry, basically told me, "whatever" and hung up on me.
In the end, I returned the entire kit, was only credited back HALF of the amount, and ended up paying just under $400 in shipping. They refused everything, and becuase they have the wording JUST right in their web page, you can't fight them back legally because they are covered by law, even though every lawyer in the country and judge knows these people are basically scam artists and $#*!s.

I am not writing a complaint. I have dealt with ILoveBodyKits.com recently and wanted to say that I recieved great customer service. At first I was saying ''great'' after reading reviews of this company after I ordered a front bumper. But I want to say that the service I got was great. I called them asking if they recieved my check and they said they did and it will be cleared on Friday. The next Wensday I got a call from them confirming my address and they saying it will ship that night. Well the day after I answered another call from the shipping company to schudule a day next week for drop off. All am trying to say is that I give that a 4.0 out of a 5. I did recieve good customer service and have nothing bad to say about them. All companies will have another name and will have fees on returns, cancellions, and other things.

My fiance bought me a roof rack for my FJ for Christmas. Shortly after Christmas, my dad and I attempted to assemble and install the rack. The rack feet would not fit flush to the roof no matter what we tried. My fiance attempted a few times to call with no answer. On 12.28.12 I submitted an official report that my product was defective. A few days later I received an email stating they were out of the office for the holiday and my report would be addressed in the next few days. Two weeks went by without response. I emailed the individual that emailed me that message and he was quite rude in his response, saying that I had not followed through on instruction they had sent me to send them images. I explained that I was sorry and sent the images, but I had never received instruction to send images. In fact, the site had my report listed as resolved, which I found a little humorous. After many more phone calls prompting them to resolve the issue, I received a return shipment label on 2.6.13. I will admit the next delay was my fault because I was busy with work and personal things...and I needed a truck to get the package to UPS so it was shipped 2.19.13, arrived at their facility 2.21.13. They are claiming they have no record of it arriving, which is interesting because I have record right here of Chen signing for it, and will not send a new rack until they do. Then even when they do ship it to us, if they do, they say they can't ship it to my house. They say they can only ship it to the billing address which is 45 minutes from me. It feels like we are being scammed, an expensive scam.

They Suck ###. There is a Boy who answers the phone who is an ### nothing more. He will belittle you then hang up on you. You cant even talk to him because he is a little baby boy and cant handle the truth. He tells you he has a place that will give you great prices for something you can get cheaper from the manufacturer. Do not buy from these ###s.

think twice on making a buy from the site, u need to reconsider or research some more before buying from this shop nothing but negative reviews online from me and others out there dont waste your time and money

Ilovebodykits.com horrible product & service

This is THE worst company I have EVER done business with. They took about 3 weeks to ship a bumper that they kept saying had shipped. When I didn't get a tracking number each time, they kept promising it was going out that night (WHY didn't I just ask for a refund then? argh). The part that finally shipped didn't fit right and the body shop had to do TON of work to make it work & it's still not really right. They said it was one of the worst fits they'd ever seen. It ended up costing me way more to fit to the car than I expected.

When I called back to complain, they didn't return my calls and one "customer service" agent even told me to, "F*ck off". These guys are HORRIBLE! Please do not even consider ordering from them!

Their "money back guarantee" is a joke since I'd have to spend about $200 to ship a bumper that I would only get a $150 refund on.

I even had AMEX try to get the refund and after about 3 months of them trying, they gave up as well.

Please stay VERY, VERY far away from ilovebodykits. They are horrible!

Ilovebodykits.com Bad service

The company sent the wrong auto headlights. They now are not wanting to have the headlights returned for a full refund.They are ignoring emails and phone calls.

I myself have been a victim of ilovebodykits.com. I ordered a grill from them on a Friday and called them on a Monday to see if the part was pulled. They said that the part would not be processed until Wednesday and would not arrive until the middle of the following week. I explained that I need the part ASAP and had access to a part that that could be delivered in a few days and wished to cancel the order. He was not happy about this but said he would cancel the order and that I would receive a confirmation by email and receive a credit of my payment in a week. Neither happen as they shipped the part anyway. Of course they would take it back with a 20% restocking fee and a $60.00 shipping charge... on an item that could not be shipped!

I too was burned by this company. Their website stated that the headlight assembly was complete which a normal person would assume meant with everything. So when I realized that it was not complete and just wanted a refund they said that they were rejecting my refund because it wasn't a good enough reason for a refund because I should have known that it didn't have everything in it. THEY ARE THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. Tell everyone you know to never do business with them.

GO ONTO BBB.ORG AND LOOK THEM UP. GIVEN AN F GRADE! OR JUST LOOK UP COMPLAINTS OR REVIEWS ON THIS COMPANY ONLINE. ALL REVIEWS ARE HORRIBLE, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY FROM A MORE ESTABLISH BUSINESS.

ORDER A GRILL FOR MY MAZDA THEY SENT THE WRONG GRILL AND DID NOT WANT TO OWN UP TO IT THERE SHADY AND I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN

We too are ticked off. We are a business selling parts as well. I do not like the high shipping they charge. We Know what shipping costs are s we ship all over the USA. Their rates are out of line. I'm talking about truck freight. Three weeks for an in stock part is too long.
