ILD un soliceted charge to phone bill

ILD Teleservices, Inc charged by phone bill $8.43. When I called them, they referred me to Your Product Bill . YPB told me the charge was for an 800 number that I had subscribed to. Not so. This is a total scam, they assured me that the charge will not appear again and that it has been cancelled. However, I must pay the $8.43 now. This is so unfair.

ILD Illegal practices

I got a call from My ex-husband a few days ago telling me he was going to sue me. He said I was USING his Identity to Charge His phone bill for some VoiceMail service. He gave me the name of ILD that was on his bill. They said I Signed up online. When I asked what Website was used they gave me www.myvoicemailprize.com Its a Pop up ad for a Credit card. I never signed Up for anything like that... and I never used my Ex's phone number for anything. They said that I filled out some kind of form over the internet and when asked What phone number to bill it to... I put in My ex's number. If that is the case..I think we should bill the WHITE HOUSEs' phone number if its that easy.

The Rep told me they can give me the IP address (the address of the computer it came from)if I get a Court order.(and I'm sure they will give you a Phoney IP address anyways.) I'm sure they know that most people wont waste their money when they are scamming under $20/bill. but at the same time if everyone is getting scammed... that amount adds up.

This is Clearly Fraud and this company is making millions. I am sure there are people who may overlook these kinds of charges for months before realizing they are on their bill. I am very angry because It has caused my Ex to believe that I am trying to Fraudulently use his Identity over the internet. I wish there was a way everyone could get together and Prosecute this company for its illegal practices.

ILD Charge for no reason

There was a mysterious charge that showed up on our Windstream phone bill that was billed on behalf of "Info Dial USA, Inc". They claim that it was for our fax line which makes it even better. A representative who came to my office even said that it was most likely a scam.

My father's AT&T phone bill was charged 14.95 and 9.99 based on fraudulent claims by ILD Teleservices on behalf of a company called US Credit Find. When contacted by phone [protected]), ILD Teleservices claimed that these charges were authorized by my wife in January of '09, a patently false claim. The address that they had on record was correct for my father's home, but the name they had was my wife's maiden name, a name that she hasn't gone by in more than 8 years.

This has got to be some sort of nasty little identity theft scam and I for one would like to see an end to it.

I have no idea how they received the information to attach these charges of $13.62 to my Centurytel telephone bill. When I seen the added charges I called the telephone number provided spent a hour and half on hold and finaly spoke to repesentive that agreed to give me a conformation number to remove the charges from my account. But then I find out that my telephone calls have been directed to another voice mail that I have no idea how to access. And then they put it back on my telephone without my knowledge I run a business from my home and had no idea my calls were being directed to another telephone when I am not home.

On my recent AT&T phone bill, there was a 12.95 charge from them that I, in no way authorized. When I called, they said my daughter charged it to my phone bill.I do not believe this.I have never even heard about this company before, and i most certainly do not need data backup. They said they would cancel, but I'll have to see about that.I called AT&T about it and complained. Also my daughter is not authorized to make any transactions that I will have to pay for, my daughter is a married woman, aged 44, who has her own computer and her own phone. This is some kind of scam and i am not going to pay for something that I did not authorize.

ILD Cramming

I had been receiving calls on my answering machine which requested to speak to some person who never ever had my phone number which I have had for years. They would leave an 800 number to call. I got so annoying that I thought I would call the 800 number and inform them to stop calling my phone number. Well, the the automated answer at the 800 number informed me to call 10 15 800 and when I did, I immediately knew what I had done and hung up the phone. For that brief moment I was charged by ILD Service on my phone bill. Now every time they call and the answering machine records the message, they are billing me just for the party reaching my answering machine. This seems to me to be a rip off and a big scam.

I discovered several charges on my AT & T phone bill. ($51.99) I called the 800 number for ILD Teleservices. They credited me $46.87 the next month. Now I see on my new phone bill the ILD is at it again. I called them, they say they cannot credit my phone bill but will send me a reimbursement check. AT & T tells me there is nothing they can do about these company's. I don't believe AT & T. They are part of this scam with ILD Teleservices.

I have been billed by ATT for 9.99 on behalf of ILD services who is collecting for US Credit Find. I have had no contact with either of the latter two companies and I have not authorized either to sell me anything or to bill me on behalf of anyone with whom I do business. It is impossible to find out about this or to stop it by calling AT&T. ILD services claims they will issue a refund, but they have no right to make the charge in the first place and there is no reason to believe they will cancel the charge. Meanwhile, it is not possible ot contact US Credit Find to find out who they have given my credit or billing information to. Sounds like identity theft to me.
ILD Services also warns that you may be subject to a late fee with AT&T if you do not pay because they cannot correct their errors fast enough! They will not tell you how to contact US Credit Find and they willnot help in finding out to whom your credit information is being sent.

AT&T charges 18 dollars upgrade fee when replacing a broken phone, even though the contract is fulfilled and then renewed for another 2 years when agreeing to purchase the new phone. When I signed the new contract agreement on the electronic pad there is only mention of the 2 year contract extension. No mention is made of this 18 dollars when replacing a phone, and customers that were with Cingular before it became AT&T are not informed of this change in billing practice. It is in new AT&T contracts only.

This is obviously a revenue generating tool for AT&T. Finally got the phone store to remove the charge but the people at the AT&T corporate help desk were no help. Natisha (NS524N) and supervisor Rochelle were my contacts. Sounds like a good class action to me. Many people are being charged that 18 dollars without notice.

Wasted a lot of my time on hold with AT&T just to have them tell me there was nothing they could do for me. I was an AT&T employee for 15 years and have had wireless service since 1995, when AT&T originally bought Cellular One. That is the only contract I ever signed with them, and when they became Cingular they stopped honoring the lifetime contract that I originally signed. Now of course they are back to being AT&T.

The original contract was 15 dollars/month and free nights/weekends with 100 prime minutes. They discontinued the lifetime contract without ever giving the required notice, and I fought that one for many hours and much postage until I gave up.
