IKEA delivery service

I have a pending delivery that was supposed to be delivered the 1st of September, I tried to contact customer service by email and I never got any response regarding my order, I called customer service by phone and it cost me 50 euros for the call where the customer service team told me that the next day available will be the 8th of September, that is 1 week late when I placed thw order 5 days before moving to my new apartment. I'm moving house tomorrow and I need the things on the order as there is the mattress on that order, I intend to make a formal complaint regardin this as the customer service is terrible and it cost me more than the delivery service to be able to contact someone. My wife is 6 months pregnant and we are not planning to sleep on the floor on the new apartment for a mistake that was made by IKEA Ireland.

IKEA delivery (ikea t-force)

I bought a mattres and bed set from ikea. The delivery should be arrived on 25/8. Then I got a phone call from ikea, the guy said they dont have one of the item on store, so I reschedule to 31/8. Now, some unconfirmed issue, t-force did not delivery my package and I need to wait unitl next tuesday which is 9/4 to reschedule my order. I slept on the floor a week. I call t-force and ikea so many time this week.

IKEA kitchen delivery and setting

I bought an IKEA kitchen and hired their delivery and setting services. One of their workers sexually harassed me as I was alone in the house and they drilled through a gas pipe that was left covered by their cabinets with a leak for 3 weeks as IKEA failed to give a fast response and solution, putting my life and the safety of the building in danger, as they were arguing that the company they sub hire to set their furniture doesn't take responsability and didn't have openings in their schedule to remove the cabinets for the pipe to be fixed. Until today IKEA didn't take responsability, didn't refund the money spent fixing the pipe or offered any compensation for the personal damage caused to me and the risk they put me int.

IKEA pending replacement and reimbursement

I will write this sad story about my first and last encounter with IKEA with facts only, and leave it to the readers, to form their own opinion:

• On 30.07.2018 I placed an order with IKEA in Bucharest, which among others included a large mirror and a 4-section wardrobe.

• The goods were delivered on 04.08.2018, and when unpacking, it was discovered that the large mirror and one section of the wardrobe was damaged.

• During the following two weeks I emailed IKEA four times and informed about the damages, and each time I received an auto-reply in which IKEA promised to revert, which they never did.

• On 17.08.2018 I spent a very long time in IKEA's telephone-queue, before I got through to an employee who claimed IKEA did not receive any emails from me (the ones I received auto-replies on). He promised to arrange for replacement of the damaged wardrobe on 22.08.2018, and he agreed to reimburse the damaged mirror and not replace it, and I immediately emailed the bank account details.

• On 22.08.2018 the promised replacement did not happen, and the mirror had not been refunded, and again I spent a very long time getting through to IKEA on phone, just again to be promised that now they would refund me and replace the damaged wardrobe.

• Today, 27.08.2018, I again spend a long time getting through to IKEA on phone, to ask why they had had still not reimbursed me and replaced the damaged wardrobe. This time the employee told me to call their logistics contractor myself - which of cause I refused - and he admitted IKEA had received my bank account details on 17.08.2018, but had done nothing with them, but that I could expect reimbursement on 31.08.2018.

Status today - exactly four weeks of having placed the order:

• IKEA owe me the reimbursement for the damaged mirror they picked up today.
• IKEA found the time to pick up the damaged wardrobe section, but they did not deliver the replacement (quite telling for how they prioritize) and I still only have half the wardrobe assembled.

IKEA pending delivery

We ordered tarendo/adde dining table and 4 chairs last August 4. Unfortunately, the delivery has missing tarrendo dining table. we just received 4 chairs. Its been 3 weeks since Ive been calling the customer service to help us out but to no avail. One representative gave us a tracking number to FEdex but as per Fedex they cannit deliver it since the barcode that IKEA proviced in the box is unreadable and needs to be replaced before they can make a delivery.

This is such a disaapointment to your service! been calling for two hours almost everyday but all the representatives are njust not helping in a proper way

IKEA non delivery of order

order number.[protected].should have been delivered 17th August [protected]. I have used CHAT to try and arrange delivery bit keep getting told to wait for24hrs for a call..5 days later I am still waiting. we have been without beds since 17th August. no one will call to tell me when they will deliver I am at a dead wall ! Please help. bought in IKEA Naples on 22 July and still waiting. this is urgent but still get no response. the phone number they gave me [protected] does not connect and unwind tell me the number is not recognised. I CANNOT speak to anyone !

IKEA service and warranty

Induction hobs whirlpool (утрулиг артикульный номер (article number): 403.039.34) is not working which I bought from ikea russia. It has been one month that we are waiting for ikea customer service to change it with the new one.in every our call they ask for more and more documents (at the last time they asked us to sign an agreement with whirlpool service that we refuse repairment and we want ikea to change it.) still there is no reply.

IKEA bad service - late delivery - never answer calls

Hello,

First of all I like very much that my message teaches management of IKEA and I shall expect and hope to get a response soon.

I made a purchase from IKEA Riyadh / Saudi Arabia from the website. the delivery was scheduled for 11th August 2018 between 2 PM and 9 PM.

Since that time ( 11th August, 2018 ), I have been trying to call the only number available ( [protected] ) more than 100 times but to no avail. even I have tried to use all possible extensions, yet still no answer!

It was my worst decision to buy from IKEA because I thought I was dealing with a store with European standard of service, that was my mistake.

if I know any contact for IKEA Head office in Sweden to call customer service and put my complaint I would have done that!.

Let me see if I would receive a response to this complaint or IKEA will continue to prove my stupid mistake to even think of buying any thing from IKEA!

IKEA delivery

My order was scheduled for delivery on August 5th. I waited for my stuff all day, nobody showed up. When I called XPO Logistics they told me my order was not in location and they would call me back. On Tuesday August 7th, they rescheduled for Wednesday afternoon. I waited all afternoon for my stuff. Nobody showed up. When I called your courier, they told me that my order was not in location and they would call me back once found. They call me on Friday August 10th and rescheduled for Sunday August 12th. I came home early from a weekend away to receive my furnitures. I call XPO just to make sure everything is going well, and they told me that my stuff is not in location and that they will call me back when my stuff is found. This is the third time it happens!
I have been sleeping on the floor for a week, I am desperate. I need to know when and if my furnitures will be delivered or cancel my order and receive my money back immediately so that I can buy furnitures with someone more reliable. IKEA is not answering phone calls or emails

I am undergoing the same experience here as well, but the delivery company is T-Force. This is the 4th time that they rescheduled my order because T-Force was not able to locate my merchandise at the first two times, and they didn't give me reason at the third time. The 4th time T-Force told me they only delivery to my area on every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. It is a such terrible experience that I have to call back forward between Ikea and T-Force. Ikea keep playing around me and their custom service told me that my merchandise on the way my house this noon, but T-Force told me they don't delivery to my house area today! RIDICULOUS! I stayed in the house 4 days for waiting for the furnitures, and look what happened. By the way, I paid for my furnitures one month ago!

IKEA return takes 3 months...

We ordered a duvet and returned it a week later in May 2018. Though they have received the product, they have not issued a return. The several times I've talked to someone on the phone (after a 2 hour wait) they don't do anything or offer any new information.
We ordered a bed and cancelled after 2 months of it not showing up with no delivery date in sight. we were told they have no control over delivery dates?!? What? It's been another month and we haven't received that refund either.
This company is a joke. I've always loved them and when I lived in a city that had them I would use them as a go to but I will NEVER step foot into another store again.

IKEA stock information is not true

Hello, can please someone help me about the stock's information?. 2 weeks ago I wanted to buy a desk, the top table was in stock but not the legs. The customer service at the store in charlotte, nc told me that is coming during the week. So, I decided to buy the table top without legs because "it was coming wednesday". Since this day I check every day during the morning and night the stock and every day is different. It said is going to be at the store wednesday and wednesday in the morning before 10 am is out stock until friday, friday is out stock until sunday and so on. Can someone at this company do a better job with the product availability on the website? I am really upset about it.

IKEA no delivery after a month and horrendous customer service

I ordered a desk and extra drawers on july 9th paid over 300.00. Delivery date was supposed to be july 23. Today is july 31 and still no product. Customer service is horrible. Wait on hold 45 min to an hour, finally get someone who says it left the distance. Center 7.23. They told me to call the delivery co, who tells me they never got it. Called ikea back multiple times. Each time with ridiculous wait times. Finally talked to someone who said they may have to start over and reship. I said I just want a refund. He had to transfer me...been on hold an hour. Worst system I have ever dealt with. They basically stole 309.00

IKEA delivery

On July 4th, I went to Ikea Brooklyn. I ordered an amount of 1115.07 USD (37 packs - nr [protected]). We have agreed a delivery date on July 16th. On July 13th I received a phone call from XPO, the delivery company to say that the delivery was delayed because they didn't have all the ordered items. During the week following July 16th, I didn't receive any news either from Ikea or from Xpo. I phoned Xpo once and Ikea twice. A new date was finally agreed for delivery on July 21st. The day after, I received a phone call saying that it would be on the 22nd. On the 22nd I received only 3 boxes ( 2 603.598.35 and 1 602.800.69. In the afternoon, I phoned Ikea. After 2 hours waiting at the phone, I was told that my situation will be analysed and that I will receive very soon further news. On the 23rd, I received an email saying that my case nr [protected] has been reviewed and that Ikea would like to proceed with a resolution. On the 24th, without any news, I phoned back Ikea again. Another 2 hours waiting time. I was told that my problem cannot be solved as it was not known when the majority of my order would be available for delivery. After almost one hour of dicussion and waiting time, it was agreed that I would be reimbursed of the totality of the order except the 2 603.598.35 and that Ikea would come on the 29th to recuperate the 602.800.69. I received an email a few minutes after the end of our discussion mentioning that Ikea would also recuperate the 2 603.598.35 (order number [protected]). So I will have to phone Ikea again (another waiting time of 2 hours I suppose) to correct this mistake. And I still don't have received the furniture I desperately need. I am really fed up. In Belgium where I am coming from, I have never had any problems with Ikea. Dealing with Ikea Brooklyn is a real nightmare.

IKEA chest of drawers

On 5/19/2018 I placed on order online for a chest of drawers to be delivered to my home. I am (now) 37 weeks pregnant. When I ordered my product I intended to get it for my daughters' room since now I will have 2 girls sharing a room. I wanted to have the room prepared and ready for new baby to come. Any ways, I received an email on 5/25 stating my item will be delivered 5/31. 5/31 rolls around and I get a call from ikeas delivery company stating they are unable to deliver my product because they only have 2 of the 3 packages the product comes in. They suggested I call ikea as well as they were to get to the bottom of the issue. I spent over 1 1/2 hours on the damn phone just getting through this ikea after being on hold. Customer service was unsure what I was talking about and had to call their delivery service and the delivery service told them a different story that they did not have the package at all. So customer service let's me know they are going to handle it, end of call. I get another call a few days to may be a week later from the delivery company again trying to schedule for delivery. We schedule a delivery date for June 11th and June 11th comes by and now delivery . Again I call ikea customer service and am on the phone waiting for over an hour. I finally get through, cancel my order, and am told I will get a full refund for product and delivery fee. It is now July 25th and still no refund. I have emailed IKEA 2x and tried to call multiple times. This has been an absolute [censored]ing headache, waisted time spent, and waisted money. I have been a loyal customer for years and now this is the [censored] I have to deal with at 37 weeks pregnant.

IKEA cooking pot

I had this pot on high, steaming potatoes when I start to smell something funny. I check on it, and the pots bottom had come off, and molten aluminum was all over my stove top! It was supposed to be a solid stainless steel pot! I am attaching pictures. This has completely destroyed my stovetop and cost me hundreds of dollars. I intend to push for a full refund plus compensation for pain and suffering after breathing in toxic aluminum after nearly setting my house on fire.

IKEA consistent or substantial unsatisfactory professional conduct

Hi, I'm writing in order to issue a complaint regarding one of your 'friendly workers', Martha. However, though I politely asked for her name, I am unsure if that is her legitimate title. I am aware she is supposedly in charge of security, not in the physical sense, but apparently monitors certain areas and summons team security members. I know for certain she works on Saturdays around 3:10; when the incident and subject I am addressing occurred.

Today I was over at Ikea. After buying certain products with a group of friends we sat down to talk, when a rather rude lady in uniform came over to basically tell us to leave or shut up. Though I do admit we were not that quiet, we were not obnoxiously loud. However, the manner in which she talked to us was inappropriate.

I would appreciate it if your staff were more helpful and respectful. I do not believe she had the right to speak to us in the manner she did. Furthermore, when I asked for her name, she simply said, 'Why should I give you it? What are you going to do with it?', and asked for my name. I am aware it is within my rights as a customer to ask for a worker's name. I am appalled by the fact such an individual was hired, and allowed to speak to customers.

IKEA Furniture Delivery/Thieves and Robbers

I ordered a wardrobe from Ikeas in two orders. The second wardrobe was not delivered as promised. There was little to no communication after the wardrobe was promised to be delivered on June 22nd. I spent at least 6 hours total on hold to be able to speak to a person. In addition, IKEA"S Customer Service is set to lock you out if you are on hold too long or if you finally get someone and you have to be transferred to another department you get sent to the back of the hold line and that results in additional wait time. Once you are cut off by IKEA's phone system when you try to call back in you won't even get a dial tone. The system is set to shut you out. So since I could not get the matching closet to the first once they was delivered after calling the third party delivery services and they said they didn't get the item I cancelled the first order and asked them to come pick up their closet. I have a background in Engineering and Interior Design so I hate put together furniture to begin with so this made me even more skeptical. They told me I have to call another number to the "CASH OFFICE" pay them $39 and then they will contact Customer Service to let them know I paid and I had to call back to schedule pick -up. Not correct me if I am a little sensitive but am I not the customer? So to add insult to injury I have to engage in additional ridiculous steps to get you to come and pick up your merchandise after you have treated me like a vagabond? I will NEVER buy anything else from this store. So now I have yet to receive my refund for the second closed which I paid $80 more for than the first one. and I have to pay for IKEA to pick up the other wardrobe before I get my $190.00 back minus the $39.00. Why am I the customer being punished for their inept customer services? NEVER again. I just want my money put back in my account and I want them to come pick up their junk out of my home! Still out $190.00 plus $254.00

IKEA customer service

My girlfriend and I went to the San Diego store location to pickup our new Vimle couch. Upon arrival we were told that we would need to go to the nearby warehouse for the rest of the items on our list. We asked if we needed to pay at the San Diego store but the associate said we were able to pay at the warehouse.

Once we got to the warehouse(7411 Goen place San Diego ca 92120) we were greeted by Brandon. Brandon was extremely rude and dismissive from the get go and told us we couldn't pay at the warehouse. I explained we were told we could pay at the warehouse and he then said "That's not my problem".

It took us forever to finally get him to call the store and pay for the rest of the order over he phone after he said he couldn't...We left feeling extremely disrespected and pissed off from our interaction with Brandon.

Please consider this a formal complaint against him. Thank you, we love the furniture but Brandon's customer service was the worst I've ever experienced.

IKEA customer service

On june 3, 2018 I ordered a gateleg table (on-line because you were out of stock in your new wisconsin store). Promised delivery was june 14, 2018 - item was not received until june 17, 2018.
The table is beautiful - I got the (norden table aa-1892783.4) entire table assembled up to instruction #5 (page 6). When I got to instruction #5 the brackets would not line up with the drilled holes, so the screws would not go into the table top.
I made numerous calls to your company and finally yesterday I was able to speak to someone who will be sending a new table on july 13, 2018. (unfortunately the phone call took over 1 hour to get this resolved).
Later that day I received a confirmation email.in the email it noted the incorrect phone number for delivery (the correct number is [protected]) which I clearly stated to your customer service rep. The email also states before receiving this replacement I will need to pay the full price a second time. I will not pay this price again, I already paid it in full and have received very poor service. I was told the item will be delivered and when it is I will give them the previous table that had damaged parts. I am not keeping both tables and will not pay for both tables.
Please change my phone number on this item to [protected] and deliver as soon as possible.

IKEA delivery and assembly

Over the past 4 days, I have spent over 3.5 hours on the phone with customer service and another 1 waiting in line to speaker to the customer service manager at the Etobicoke store.

On June 21, 2018 we paid for the delivery of my PAX wardrobe the total price was $3400.00 including delivery. We also bought a second PAX wardrobe for $600 that was to be delivered on Saturday June 23, 2018.

For the first wardrobe, the delivery never came on Thursday 21, 2018. My wife and I spent over 2.5 hours on the phone trying to understand where was the wardrobe, why I didn't arrive between its original delivery time slot of 5PM-9PM.

We were told that the delivery company was on its way, then after another 45 minutes we called agian and were told it would arrive by 10:45PM. It never arrived.

This was problematic because I explained to them that we had the installation of the wardrobe scheduled for the following morning (Friday June 22, 2018) between 9-12. We purposely had it scheduled in the morning so that we would have enough time to have everything done before our movers arrived with our bedroom furniture and cloths by 3PM the same day. (Friday June 22, 2018).

I explained to the customer service representatives that the movers were coming at 3PM on Friday June 22, 2018 and thry would be siting and waiting if the wardrobe was not delivered and completed by 1PM. The customer service rep assured me a manger would call us "first thing Friday morning". No one called, we again had to call in the morning (Friday) and were told that the manager was "busy" and would call us when he was free.

The manager Marlon did not call until 10AM on Friday June 22, 2018. He told us that he would only refund the delivery and that the installation was delayed to 1 PM. I explained that this would cause our movers to wait outside as they assembled the late arriving PAX wardrobe. This cost us 1.5 hrs of our movers time just waiting for the IKEA installation team to assemble the PAX wardrobe 4 hrs later than planned or expected.

The frustrating part was this was explained to customer service the night before (Thursday night at 11PM) and yet is was still not avoided. If the manager called back on time it would have been avoided. If the manager did not cancel the morning installation than I would not have had to pay my movers for 1.5 hrs to wait (costing me $200).

To add insult to injury our second small PAX wardrobe arrived on Saturday June 23, 2018 missing one box. This delivery was the second failure in as many days. Yet I have not been refunded for it.

On Monday June 25, 2018 I took a half day off work and went myself to IKEA to speak to them about the two major failures and the costs I incurred. I spoke to the store Manager Caroline Flett. She heard everything that had happened between Thurdays June 21 and Saturday June 23 and found the missing box for the second PAX wardrobe.

Caroline took my name and number and gave me her email address and committed to looking at all the issues and costs I incurred due to both delivery failures. She committed to circling back with customer service and calling me back with the resolution.

Unfortunately, she did not call me back.

To date I have paid IKEA over $4000.00 and recieved a day late delivery of one PAX wardrobe, a delayed assembly, and a second PAX wardrobe missing a box that I had to pick up myself. These mistakes cost me a half day of work and $200.00 in avoidable moving costs.

In return IKEA has offered me $99.00 refund for one delivery and an $80.00 gift card.

This is an astonishing failure in customer service that needs to be rectified.
