IHOP Human Resources/Manager

I worked 4 days, 6.5 hour shifts in the Dawsonville, Ga. Ihop restaurant as a dishwasher. Grueling back breaking work that never ends - finally comes the time to receive fruits of my labors and Whoops! No paycheck for you! Manager Patti hates her job, hates customers and hates employees - she is dodging me with false paperwork, not returning my calls, leaving early to avoid me. I believe she STOLE my paycheck and hopes I'll just give up and disappear. I'm going to Corporate Ms Patti! Your run your restaurant like [censored] and it's disgusting behind scenes - I wouldn't eat there if it was free!

IHOP to-go order not ready to go

I placed my order at 9:45am and it stated it would be ready in 15mins. I arrived at iHop at 10am and I've informed 3 staff members I'm here for a to go order. They never informed me if it was ready or not and kept assisting other customers.

Finally a manager or someone who wasn't wearing a standard uniform went to go get me my to-go order 15mins later (total of 30mins) and it was cold. Very poor service, they do not know how to multi-task. One was too busy talking to her friend who came in. They could've easily handed me my food so I can be on my way. It was already paid for online as well.

This was at SuperMall iHop in Auburn WA
11/1/2018 around 10:15am.
Would not be placing an order there again. Very unprofessional and rude.

IHOP food

Came into ihop for my sons 4th birthday. Ordered the funny face pancakes and got something completely wrong! I was unhappy. She kept reassuring me that the food was coming and so when this came out I assumed they just tired of having me wait. I would have rather than take another 15 mom to fix if the right way then to send this green stuff out. My son didn't noticed and ate it anyway but I'm very disappointed that it even got sent out like this.

IHOP manager hollering at employee.

On Oct 19, 2018 Between 13:00 and 13:45 while dining at Ihop on S. Pine Ave/ hwy 441/301/27 in Ocala Fl . check # 7982. Clerk ID# [protected]. Very upsetting that we had to listen to manager yelling at an employee. Went on for several minutes. She won't let up. She was in kitchen/waitress area and we could hear it loud and clear. She was jumping on him about not cleaning tables before he left the day before and he was telling her he did. As we were leaving we were told by another waitress this happens all the time. Her hollering at employees. Very unprofessional. Very upsetting.

IHOP I made a complaint regarding a rock in my breakfast.

I would like compensation for my dental bill as well as compensation for my pain and suffering. It should be a law against an establishment that refuse to give you the name, insurance company or every an case number to file a case with the police department. Or whomever I choose to see. Once I receive my food and starting chewing. I notice, I was eating/chewing on a pebble /rock that look like it came off the ground /dirt. However. I called them and they said they would take care of me. Once I got there. He started saying it was the potatoes, he's going to call the company. I told him. I hold you responsible because you guys are not washing your product. No hair net, no glove. Health code. He tried to offer me a credit for break fast. No thank. Than he attempt to take the evidence out of my hands. No chance of that. He has just been avoiding me. Trying to over talk me. I just wants what's write. He goes on to say, I wasn't going to get anything because cases like these don't. Well. I'm trying you guys again. The news. Than its court. This is going on too long. When all he had to do is submit the paperwork to his company insurance co. No he wants to leave my personal info with some stranger. Violation my privacy.

IHOP billing/customer card complaint store #3112

My family and I attend Sunday Service at our church, then we go to breakfast at one of four IHOPs in our area. We have been to all. Today our experience at IHOP #3112 was so very bad, we had to submit this complaint.

After our meal, I asked waitress for our bill and placed credit card on table. I expected to get a detail list of food we had, but instead I got the final bill and immediately noticed that my bill was higher by $20. I called the waitress back to the table and told her I wanted a detail receipt of the food ordered before paying. She took the unsigned bill back and asked for my card again, I reluctantly complied. I never got the detail of food order, however the second bill was $20 less than before. Finally, I called the manager to the table and explain to her what happen. She said she would speak to the waitress.

I am very concerned about stolen personal information, and double billing. The manager did hothing to make me believe that my concerns were addressed.

For my satisfaction and my concern for future customers, I am requesting a full explanation of what happened and assurance that this never happens again.

Until we hear from you, we will not be eating at any Ihop.

IHOP server

I have a complaint I was in prayer IHOP West and I was literally fired for telling a cook that a real cook is here I do take fall in that but firing me over that when there's other things that's going on there like the area Fanning the assistant manager out there smoking weed with her employee I mean I can understand a write-up but firing me over this there is so much more going on at IHOP Ridge Road Wichita Kansas and I still can't believe that I get fired over telling a cook that a real cook is here when the manager goes off on us she's been going off on cooks for the last month I don't understand what's going on I just want to be treated fairly and I would not stop until my Justice is done in my behalf

What justice do you need to get? Smart Mouths get FIRED, and it sounds like you have a smart mouth, by your own admissions. You, as an EX employee don't get to point fingers. When you get older, you will realize that, no matter whre you work, you need to mind your own business, instead of deflecting.

YOU lost YOUR job... No one lost it for you.

IHOP manager

I feel everyone deserves a second chance but as a manager I feel they should show integrity and leadership ... this manager has been arrested for a drive by shooting 5 years ago and then last week was arrested for drugs and theft of over 250 dollars ... he is verbally abusive to the staff e has walked out of the restraunt leaving no one in charge but because he is involved with the general manager this is all swept under the rug

IHOP services

I went to IHOP at 15444 Hwy 105, Montgomer, Tx and I am very very disappointing with this branch. We walk in and we are standing in there for 30 minutes, there are hardly any customers in there and I see 3 waitresses looking straight at us and did not even try to make an effort to seat us down. I am definitely reporting this IHOP to the main office. Manager needs to be replace. I am never ever stepping foot in there again. This was my last draw. In the past that we have been there they take forever to seat you down and there is hardly any people in there. My food does not arrive in my table after my 3rd cup of coffee. Every staff in the branch looks unhappy. The only reason we continue to go there is because it's closer to our house.

We than went to IHOP on 1508 Interstate 45, Conroe, Tx best service ever. We were greeted by a nice hispanic man who wasted know time to seat us immediately. My waitress name is Zyandria and let me tell you she is awesome. She took my family order correctly and promptly. The kitchen staff cook our breakfast super fast. I hadn't finished my first cup of coffee and viola my breakfast was placed to our table. Our waitress check our table to make sure we were ok. Every staff in that branch had a smile. This branch will definitely be our go to place from now on. It's a little too far but it's worth it. Also IHOP corporate needs to promote one of these waitresses to replace the manager at IHOP 15444 Hwy 105, Montgomer Tx. I hope this helps other whose had the same problem but never tried to write a review bc it's time consuming to do so.

IHOP food and bill

My boyfriend and I are regulars at IHOP and get the same order every time, the pancake combos. We arrive at IHOP and sat at the table for a little while without anyone greeting us. Then someone finally came around and took our order, then a few minutes later she came back and informed us that they were out of hashbrowns. I love IHOP hashbrowns so I was throughly disappointed. She asked if she could get me something else and I said no thank you. After getting our food everything tasted pretty good. Then we got the bill. Our bill is usually around 18 dollars and now it was 23? I asked the server why It was so high and why I was charged for hashbrowns when I never got them, and she talked to the manager. The manager didn't take anything off, I never even saw the manager or got to talk to them. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service provided, and I don't know that I will be coming back.

IHOP experience

I always call this place to place an order for pickup and they will never answer the phone. I cannot order online because it's a special order I'd like and requires me to speak to someone. I should not have to come up there to see if their phone works and order and wait 15-30 when I can do it by phone and come pick it up when it's ready. It's an inconvenience! I stood there and watched the phone ring and no one wanted to pick it up and finally someone picked up I'm guessing since I was standing there and had just complained about it.

IHOP service

I went to the Ihop in Cedar Hill and no one was at the front and I had to grab my own menu. Everyone was standing around talking...one young lady passed right by me and never asked if I needed help. I don't know what type of customer service this is but it is no good...I had to leave the establishment, call the restaurant, ask for the manager to see if I could come to get waited on.

IHOP worst service and food was cold

Still waiting for the waiter (yes, not a single waitress at this location) at this IHOP restaurant 6289 Fallsview Blvd, Niagara Falls, Canada, writing my very first complain against an IHOP which is supposed to be one of our favorite restaurants for many years. iHOP was our weekly go-to place when we lived in NY. First of all, while I was parking my car, my wife was pushing the baby and struggling to come up the the restaurant which offers no ramp, there were 3 persons standing at the front only busy texting and gave my wife a look and offered no help, after fighting for about 8 steps with the baby, one of them simply asked, need a table? Then we had to flag the waiter for coffee, we ordered a chicken noodle soup but it came with a tea spoon, we then asked for a soup spoon twice, never came, so we started to eat the soup but was room temperature, very disappointed.
I asked for a manager to complain, a young waiter name Derek said there was no manager, needless to say, we did not enjoy the time there, . Since we sat in the front, we saw customers came and left since no one greeted them.
We also offered no compensation, not that I care too much, but it tells me they didn't admit any wrongdoing.

IHOP food/ service

I stopped by store #3132 in Chicago near the Ford City Mall to get a meal for me and my 3 grandchildren. We ordered our food an when it came I new immediately that the food was bad.My 2 grandchildren ordered the pancakes with the whip cream on top it was all over the plate it was slimy and disc usting, the eggs looked to be about a day old, they were a brownish color and rock hard.I complained to our waitress and she said the eggs looked old.The bacon was old as well, I still hadn't received my meal yet, but when I did I was mortified at what was sitting in front of me, the eggs again old and hard, the sausage was the same the stuff French toast was ice cold, and the hashbrowns seemed to have been reheated in a microwave. I tapped my fork on them and you could hear a clinking sound I flipped the hash browns over and they were pitch black at the bottom, again I complained and I told them we would not be eating any of that food.I have been to your restaurants many times and this is the worst IHOP I have ever been too.And the loud rap music didn't help either.Im considering calling the health department because this restaurant is defrauding customers and serving them bad food. Food should be made fresh and for them to give my grandchildren old, stale food is appalling. And I'm not excepting that.
I would have never believed this was possible until I seen it with my Own eyes, even the waitress was upset when she looked at our plates.She said she was embarrassed by the food. And she understood why I was upset. When someone is spending their hard earned money, they should get better service, and better food.I have photos to prove it, andf if needed I will contact the health department..

IHOP general manager

My grand daughter Julia Jackson has been working for IHOP for a little over a year now. She moved to Davenport in May to get away from the sexual harassment and disrespect from Roosevelt in Sebring. Since she's been in Davenport her GM Jeff hasn't resolved issues occurring in the store. The cooks, one especially is very disrespectful and acts completely out of character by using foul language to other cooks, servers, and even managers. Jeff continues to do nothing while he throws plates around. Jeff himself also has had a rough time controlling his anger and chaneling it properly. Today he yelled across the kitchen in front of the whole staff at my granddaughter for what he considered "horse playing" when she was trying to get a co worker to reframe from saying inappropriate things at work so close to where guest could hear. His words were, "HEY YOUNG LADY HEY, STOP THAT HORSE PLAYING BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT." His tone had everyone around in shock. This is not the first time he has lost his temper towards the wrong person. My grand daughter is a very hard working young woman and very loyal to the company. She even worked a over night shift in Sebring for Roosevelt while bleeding during being pregnant and the following week had a miscarriage and he punished her by removing her from the schedule and blamed it on a transfer that wasn't for sure yet. She has been debating suing the company for being in a hostile work environment and for the belief of her cause of miscarriaging. When she called me today she mentioned doing just that but then began to cry. She told me she couldn't do that because of the assistant manager Dolly. She adores and admires all of Dolly's hard work. Everytime we talk she always mentions how Dolly is the reason she gets up and goes to work. Dolly makes work for Julia enjoyable and the work momentum flow smoothly. A few of my close friends have been there passing through to see Julia and there's been some issues with the kitchen and instead of Jeff coming to check on them, Dolly checked on them and made their experience worth coming back again. One of my girlfriends mentioned how she sees Dolly more than she ever has Jeff. In her eyes she feels Dolly should be GM. However the issues concerning my grand daughter need to be addressed or I myself will take the right legal actions. Thank you for your time!

IHOP cheeseburger omelette

I had what appears to be a pubic hair right in the middle of my omelette after eating almost half of it. I let the waitress know and she took it off my bill. I'm not sure what kind of hair it was only what it looked like. If it was from someone's head or their beard maybe they should enforce hair and beard nets. Either way it was in my food and uncalled for.

IHOP store management and malpractice

Store #1926 Edmond Oklahoma. General Manager is orlando.

Nickie Harvey was the manager on duty during both incidents

First violation date happened on Oct 2nd around 3am.
I, Cierra, began having vivid ptsd flashbacks during work while serving tables. (All health information was disclosed during the interview.) I told another employee that I wasn't doing well and that I was extremely depressed and afraid. A run to the bathroom until I can work up the courage to tell my manager Nickie what is going on. With tears in my eyes I say "I need to go home due to personal reasons. " she tells me that if I leave she will tell my manager that I walked out and quit despite me making sure all of my work has been completed for the next shift. I brought in a doctors note the following day to prove what I was going through and the general manager Orlando suspended me for 6 days until human resources could prove that the situation checks out. During that 6 days of unpaid leave I developed bronchitis and phenomia due to my inability to afford healthcare. He called me back 6 days later to tell me that everything checked out and I can come back to work, with no punishment on my end. And with a simple apology that he didn't intend to suspend me for a mental illness. No action was taken after.

Date of violation Oct 9th between 10pm and 4am.

I walked in the door for my 10pm-6am shift at IHOP and Nickie the manager told me that she was just about to call me because I was a few minutes late. I apologized and she told me that if I was still coughing like the previous day, I could not work. I told her "well in that case, don't clock me in, I'll go home because I am." she responds "well we will just figure something out" and she swipes her card to clock me in. I ask "you mean if I get worse throughout the night I can leave?" she got sidetracked and didn't respond.

We had several customers at once so I was moving fast, breathing fast, so I started coughing. It gets worse and I tell Nickie that I'm having trouble breathing again. She waives me off because she's busy helping the register. After the rush is over I walk to nickie hyperventilating asking if I can step outside for fresh air because I couldn't breathe and she responds "you still have a table here, no."

I finished cleaning off my tables and Despite her telling me no, I rushed outside with my inhaler, fell to the ground and passed out. I don't know how long I was out there but When I woke up I was still having problems breathing and when I walked back inside Nickie was eating a sandwich by the kitchen, looks at me while I'm hyperventilating and holding my chest and walks to her office without saying a word. After I try to breathe well enough to talk I ask her "I just passed out outside. And I can't breathe. if I leave are you going to consider me quitting." she says "YES, you always do this. Mario goes home at 4 who is going to serve tables?" and I look at her with tears and my eyes, panting and tell her I'll finish all my stuff first, and then leave. And I walked away. After about 5-10minutes of me trying to get my sidework done, the breathing got worse, I go to Mario with tears in my eyes trying to tell him that I cant breathe and he yells for Nickie who is still sitting in her office, I tell him that I already mentioned it to her and she didn't do anything. Then she calls Mario over to tell him something and then finally decides to call an ambulance. I told her not to worry about it because she didn't care 10minutes earlier. But she ignored me and Continued calling, hung up and went and sat in her office again. The ambulance arrived and she stayed in her office. I went outside to greet the ambulance and they kept me on breathing treatments and monitors for an hour before I returned inside to grab my stuff and leave because the ambulance advised me to. I didn't say anything to Nickie because it wasn't worth the argument anymore.

Nickie has continuously gotten away with this type of behaviour for the 6 months that I have worked at this location. I feel it is finally a priority to shed light on how employees are treated at this location.

I do not want to lose my job due to unlawful terminatinion. Store camera footage will back up both stories, as well as 2 eye witnesses. Thank you.

IHOP employee

Hello,
I was attending dinner with my family, at the IHOP on 26301 Northwest Hwy, Cypress, TX 77429, and while exiting the building an employee, by the name of Lloyd was on the side of the building smoking weed. At first I thought it was just in the air or someone in the parking lot, but no it was your employee, I asked him what his name was and he refused and told me to "[censored] off" in front of my children. I went back in and asked the waitress what his name was and she told me. I am very disappointed that IHOP does not do drug test on your employees.

IHOP missing items

This is my third time ordering pickup online. But this time my pancakes were missing all of the miscellaneous toppings. Such as whip cream, and the chocolate chips. I have ordered the same pankcakes previously and they did come with it. But this time the didn't and didn't realize until I got home even though I bought it from the same store. I wasn't given a recipe so I don't have mic information except what I got from online

IHOP managers actions regarding a food complaint.

Early this morning I decided to treat myself to breakfast at your Manteca, CA restaurant. I ordered the Crepe combo breakfast. I ate moat of the breakfast saving my favorite the crepes for last. Finally, I started eating my favorite Swedish crepes! Yum they were good u til I noticed something sticking out of the crepe and after examining further it was human hair. Needless to say all my wonderful yummy feelings left and a nauseous stomach took its place. My waitress was busy and had already left me my tag so she wasn't in a hurry to get back to me. She finally saw me flagging her down and I discreetly told her what happened. She asked if I wanted some more crepes!?! I calmly said no thank you and she said let me see what I can do. Funny, I thought that should've been mentioned first but what can you say. I waited and was surprised when she returned with a new receipt stating they would give me 20% off because I ate most of my meal already. I laughed because I thought maybe it was candid camera! Was I suppose to find the hair earlier I wondered. Hmmm! I politely smiled and asked to see this manager in person. My waitress left and returned to say they took the whole meal off.
You may wonder why I'm writing this since they did eventually not charge me for my meal with hair. I'm writing this because I'm teuly surprised at the lack of customer service and general good manners i was shown. I would think the manager would have realized the grossness involved and come out personally to apologize. I would think that I would not be asked to pay a bill at all. Really it seemed that a lone woman having breakfast on a Sunday morning didn't warrant any customer service or good manners. I wonder if I would've been treated this way if it happened to someone that the manager had time for. Hmmm ... it makes you wonder.
