IHOP poor service store #3576 huber heights, ohio 45424

Around 2:30- 2:45pm My finance and I patronized the above listed location. We left a Waffle House because they did not have any hot tea bags. Got to this location no Black Tea bags but Chamomile. My finance went with the Chamomile Tea I went with coffee, we both ordered the cheeseburger amulet, a order of stw/banana French toast two orders of hash browns with tomato and cheese.

That said the waitress an African American girl with her hair in a afro puff...she never introduced herself (later we learned when she placed our order she left off the French toast) the young woman took a long time to bring us a spoon for our tea and coffee we had to ask another waitress for cream. She never came back to ask us anything. When we got the attention of the manager on duty the food was coming out with the know name waitress and another person.

The food...the hashbrowns were so bad the manager went back to the kitchen to re-order...the omelet was cold a waitress named Kiarra ended up helping us. She made sure our food was hot and we had what we needed to enjoy our meal. Mind you the know name waitress NEVER came back as our server. I watched her go around the back of the restaurant to avoid passing us.

The meal came to $40.00 and I tipped Kierra in front of the manager for taking over our dining experience before we finished our meal...mind you Kierra refused the tip I insisted YOUR MANAGER asked her to make sure the rest of our meal came out and left...

Kierra is a waitress that really understands the meaning of customer service...servicing the customer. She turned our entire dining experience around while training another teammate. She is a shining star that has potential to one day be placed in a managerial position.

Your manager on the other hand could take some lesons from Kiarra, he never once came back to ask us ANYTHING...NEVER offered a complimentary meal
toward a future visit or a discount on our meal.

Our experience did not leave me with a desire to return or reccommned this location as an enjyable dining experience. If I did return to that location it would be for Kierra...

My suggestion you need a different manager one that understands servicing customers.

IHOP complete breakdown of customer service

Food horrible and cold. Food was not fresh. Tables filthy. Manager doing nothing to correct the problems.
Manager name is Nelson. Store 3015 in Cypress Texas.
$13.50 want refund in form of a check.
Certificate not acceptable.
Please help this IHOP.
WE ARE SENIORS AND EATING AT IHOP FOR 45 YEARS.
NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH HORRIBLE RESTAURANT MANAGEMENT.

IHOP host/manager

our waitress was mistreated inside/outside was just as bad he was raising his voice to our waitress bad enough she was crying inside prior to waiting on us it's unprofessional for a host/manager to treat an employee the way he did n the gentleman was black n wearing a cream color suit w/sneakers . We had even asked our waitress if she was ok she said yes

IHOP management

Regarding IHOP on Ring rd. Greensboro NC. Gm Iris Uscanga is verbally abusive to her employees daily. She continuously screams at her employees, talks and about employees to other employees, she is very rude toward customers, and also talks badly about the customers to her employees. I was employed there and recently quit, do to the verbal and mental abuse. I had not repotered this earlier due to fear of losing my job, as she threatened me with termination frequently for no reason and as well to other employees as well. Most good is spoiled but she has employees change the dates and the labels so she will not lose points. The dish racks that are used in the dish machine in the dish area are coroded with mold. She claims that working weekends and holidays are mandatory, as her daughter who is employed there, does not work on Saturdays or holidays. I have had many customers that have complained to me of how they would never come back due to her rudeness and racism.

IHOP their ceiling tiles have live black mold.

In several spots in the restaurant area there are tiles with black mold. You can see water damage on other tiles also I included pictures but you can't tell that the mold is fuzzy and live. Store #3536 Also, there is a very large Oak tree right out front that is dead. I don't know how brittle it is but it can be extremely dangerous for parking and walking to the door if any of the limbs should fall.

IHOP manager issues

I was at Ihop Thursday, had the best server ever young black girl with red hair love her attitude and serving . Only problem was I watch her get cussed out in front everybody in the restaurant . I had no problem with her attitude nor her serving . The manager need to learn how to talk to the employees . I love her serving and will be back to see her real soon and hope that she get treated better next time I'm in the restaurant .

IHOP horrible service!

Waitress was very innapropiate in her language,
She was running around the table saying we had to HURRY UP, becuz she needed to leave, She trew all the straws, forks and napkins at us like if we were animals!
When the food arrive 5 minutes pass and the bill was already on the table! With boxes! ""Really"?
Horrible choice for my family reunion after so many years,

IHOP the pay certain people are receiving is less than minimum wage

Listen my IHOP I am am employee of is the Statesboro ga location owned by madjid farshci they make you sign paperwork when hires that allows them to take 40 cents an hour from you and they pay people minimum wage minus 40 cents every hour which makes it 6.85 an hour plus the cooks only make about 8 per hr some less than that and the training in the store is almost non exisistant I worked there for almost 4 years before and am aware of how to do everything but the only other cook pretty much that does know what's going on is the assistant store manager and should not have to cook I know I could help our store achieve better standards and reviews if given the ability to do so as you will see the info on social media is even wrong about the store brandy isn't and hasn't been the gm for more than 4 years and we are open 24 hrs on Friday and Saturday

So, I went to dine here with a friend of mine at around 10pm. The server (Jeremy) was polite, but there was one issue. Apparently, there is a distinction between a dessert crepe and a dinner one. I had told our server I was ordering dessert and ordered the fruit top crepe for $3.70. Instead, I wound up being charged $8.34.

It was likely a miscommunication or confusion, mistakes happen. What I took issue with and the reason why I'm coming forward with this is because of how poorly the manager on duty decided to handle it. It was an older lady, she approached the table - no greeting, not even a hello - and she looked at me. I started describing the issue and she told me, "That's why you need to learn to read the small print."

I told her I had said dessert, she did not respond. As a matter of fact, she didn't even address it in spite of the fact that she asked me if I had said dessert, which I did. She did not bother investigating, offered no apologies, no alternatives, etc. Instead, she nodded and walked away.

What would resolve the issue (for me, at least) is either a refund, an adjustment or, at least, some disciplinary action against that manager on duty. That kind of attitude, even with the stressors of her job included, is unacceptable under any circumstance and her tone was something that left little to be desired.

IHOP the music

I cant stand the music! It's awful. This play list is so repetitive, I listen the Jackson 5 at least six times an hour. I love the restaurant and the staff, they are wonderful. When the staff was in charge of picking a Pandora radio station it was perfect. None of the regulars here at IHOP are happy with the music here either. It's a terrible mess of a playlist that kills the business.

IHOP customer service and food.

First I want to say I love the IHOP location in Lees Summit Missouri I have always got excellent service and great food so when I found out one was coming to the town I lived In I was thrilled.
I visited the IHOP in Warrensburg about three weeks after they first opened and the service was awful and the food was not the best. I gave them the benefit of a doubt knowing they had just opened and were still training. I visited one other time quite some time after the first visit with the same results.
I visited last night September 15th about 10 pm and was disappointed with the service from the moment we walked in the door. There was Tree employees visiting at the desk the one was blocking the restroom area hugging an laughing and talking to a small child. I waited a moment and finally said excuse me because I couldn't get by. A couple minutes after I came out we were finally we're seated. The young man who seated us told us our waitress would be right with us and left twenty minutes later he returned and asked if waitress had got our drink order and we told him no so he said he would take it. He started to walk away and we told him we were ready to order so he took our order and 20 minutes later we received our food The restaurant was not busy there were three other tables one with a family of four and two with parties of two that had already received their food before we got there. When we received our food it was cold and I can only sumise that it sat there for quite a while before it was brought to our table. The young man who seated us came back and asked how everything was and we told him our food was cold. He said he could have it redone but we had already waited 40 minutes so we declined. A woman came to our table and asked the same qustion with the same response and she said let me go make it again for you myself it'll take me three minutes. We thought really but we waited twenty minutes for the two breakfast samplers that you say can be done in three minutes we declined. My boyfriend left 90% of his food and I ate my egg, bacon and ham because I didn't want to throw away my money. The lady came back a little later and said we didn't have to pay for our meal.
I managed a retail store for twenty five years and customer service was my number one priority. I will never go back to this location again Country Kitchen will get my business this location was a huge disappointment.

IHOP employees

Good Afternoon,

Please let me start by saying my wife and I normally injoy sitting down and having a great meal in your restaurants. I am a retired Marine and normally don't mind if something goes slightly off track when we are out in about because I understand life never goes to plan. But I have truly never been so disrespected by an establishments employees before. I perfectly understand that we just had a hurricane the night before and did even think I would see an open resturant. How ever even tho I am disabled myself. The wife and I went to check on my grandmother property after the storm. Upon driving home we noticed IHOP (30200 US-19, Clearwater, FL 33761) had cars in the parking lot and all the lights on. We where supper excited as a great IHOP meal sounded great. Upon my wife getting me unload and head to the we noted two young men stand inside the doors in shorts and white tank tops. They stood up moved in front of the doors (unknown to us locked) they crossed the arms and stared at us. When we tried the door they proceed to laugh and take our picture with a cell phone never giving any kind of explanation the just re crossed their arms and continued to stare at us. I truly hope this was not your employees in to clean the store after the storm but as I got re load in to my car this continued to anyone else that walked up. I don't care how much are used to enjoy the food at your establishments I don't think I will ever place my hand on one of your doors again.

IHOP very bad service attitude and efficiency and cold food served

We were at IHOP restaurant in State College. The food was served cold after a long waiting time. There are flies going around the table. The server was very hard to find. It takes her half an hour to bring just cream for coffee. The manager had the kictchen remake the food under our requst but she just didn't show any care about this situation. Worst experience in IHOP ever. This makes us just don't want to be visiting IHOP for the future.

IHOP my overall service from coming through the door to leaving unhappy

On Sept.7, 2017 at 2:35 pm my sister and I walked in Ihop restaurant in Orland Park on 14860 S. La Grange rd 60462 because my sister was craving pancakes. When we 1st walked in the establishment we were not greeted nor were we seated. After standing waiting to be seated and greeted we just seated ourselves after seating ourselves we waited to get menus which we didn't. So I proceeded to go and get us some menus, at the time it was 10 customers sitting down eating and 1 waitress named Vicki. After getting our menus and seating ourselves 10-15 min in Vickie was at another table and she looked over at us and "said I will be with you in a minute". A few minutes later 2 ladies walked in and waited to be seated which the manager came and greeted and seated them with no problem. So once Vicki came to take our order my sister told her what she wanted and I actually asked Vicki if she had tried the donut french toast and she told me she tried the apple and strawberry and not the maple bacon, so I ordered the strawberry donut french toast with the 2 eggs scrambled hard with cheddar cheese, 4 slices of bacon and hash browns and a orange juice. About 15 minutes later Vicki came back to our table asking what did we order because she couldn't read her own hand writing and she made a mistake with my order. We told her what we ordered and she came back and brought my sister some hot syrup (which was the only thing hot we received). After waiting so long for her to bring our food we finally received our food in between cool and slightly warm, so by this time Vicki was checking out the guest that was leaving so I seen the bus boy cleaning the table and asked where was his manager. He then pointed around the corner which I found out that the bathroom was there. So I realized the bus buy told the cook I wanted the manager and the cook started peeking around the corner at us but the manager never came out, so I waited to ask Vicki if we could see the manager and at this time she had an attitude for what I'm not sure. We explained our food was cold and she grabbed our plates and took they in the back telling the manager angrily, we never ate anything off the plates at all and I sipped my orange juice so I told the manager I would pay for but he said don't worry. When the manager came over we explained to him our experience from 1st coming through the door to our food being cold and the fact we was there for an hour with bad service. He asked if he could cook us more food and it would only take 7 minutes to get us fresh food and we replied that if it only takes 7 minutes why have we waited so long for our food and he ignored that question and asked again if he could make us more food and we replied no thank but you should acknoledge our service and make sure no one else receives the same service. He then told us we didn't have to pay and have a nice day so we left and went to the mall and ate at Panda express.

IHOP spoil smelling meat on omelette

On August 20, 2017, my daughter and I went to the IHop on Airline Drive in Bossier City. While we were there, we ordered a 2 Colorado Omelette's and 2 splash berry drinks. When the Omelette's arrived the shredded beef on these omelette's didn't smell right, in fact it smelled spoiled. I told the waitress that I was trying to eat it, but the smell from the meat was so strong that I could not continue to eat it and at that point, I told my daughter to stop eating it. I pushed the plate to the corner of the table and I could still smell the meat. The waitress got the manager, the manager initially said she didn't smell anything, but as she got closer and stirred around in the food, she oh yes I do smell what you are talking about. She then asked if we wanted something else, but at that point we had lost our appetite. She then took the plates of food to the kitchen and told us she would give us a number to contact and that they would resolve the issue: the number she gave us was [protected]. I have contacted this number at least 3x and at least 2x I left a message explaining what had happened. I was not given a bill and my daughter and I waited at least 20 min for the manager to come back with the number. At that point, the waitress went to get the number, but we were not given a bill. So at that point we thought we were not being charged. As we proceeded to leave to get to our car the manager came outside to ask if we were going to pay. We told her that we didn't get a bill, she said we would have to pay. I questioned her about why were being charged for the whole meal and she indicated that we had eaten over half of it. We may have eaten a third of the omelette's. Needless to say, I proceeded to pay what she charged which was $30.96. I would like to be refunded for this meal in which there was clearly something wrong with the meat on these omelette's.. My daughter and I frequently go to I hop and we always get the Colorado omelette's so I am very familiar with what is supposed to smell like. After careful review, I hop you find that I should have been expected to pay for a meal that could have potentially made myself and daughter sick. Thank you in advance for doing the right thing. My daughter and I will continue to be loyal customers because it has become a traditional outing that we enjoy. We have always commented to each other about how kind the staff is.

IHOP management/service

After 1 hr waiting on food, it came out wrong 3 times! After sending it back the 3rd time the very young manager came out, called my husband to the side, told him we had to leave because we were being rude. What? Even our waitress couldn't believe the eggs running off the plate! My husband said we would leave after the kids finished eating, he replied then I'll call the police for you trespassing. Again, what? We proceed to leave answering the question by the hosts of what was going on, who he too was completely amazed by the managers attitude. We get outside and the very young manager tells us he is calling the cops for trespassing. Our waitress was outside with us and told us to just go because he was being crazy, so we did. We, my husband, 12yr old, 18yr old and myself, then had a cop pull is over on our street! All of this because a crappy cook and an out of control manager have no business working in a customer service business... EVER! They both should be fired immediately! And we have plenty of witnesses who are employed stating he was out of control! Even the cop said he doesn't eat there! I will be placing this review on every review site I can!

IHOP poor management/waitresses customer service

Me and my husband went to the IHOP here in Pooler first time we've ever been and we came in and after sitting there waiting forever it seemed like 45 minutes waiting for a table we finally got seated our waitress came to take our order our drinks first she was very rude her name was Renee she was a Caucasian lady and her attitude from the beginning was very rude and displeasing no smile on her face no greeting us come up and ask what y'all want to drink and to me that is very unprofessional and I just looked at her first and then I let my husband order our drinks I then it took her more than 30 minutes to bring us our drinks by this time me and my husband were pissed off we had to send another server to go find her and her name was crystal very sweet girl had a smile on her face very bubbly very happy with the way that she treated us and how she took care of things she then went found Renee the Caucasian lady and when she came back to our table she was just very rude taking our order finally for our food I ordered blueberry double blueberry pancakes my husband ordered Philly cheese steak and she took our orders back there and disappeared once again when our food finally came up the waitress Crystal brought us our food it was not what we ordered I got regular pancakes just plain pancakes and I forget what my husband was brought but it wasn't what we ordered and we were very upset with it because after all that waiting and her being rude to us she didn't come and bring us our food like I said Crystal did and we then ask to speak to a manager while we were waiting to speak to a manager Renee then comes back and begins to argue with me and my husband saying that we did not order what we know we ordered that we ordered what was sent out to us and got very irate about it Crystal trying to Defuse The Situation came over and said that she would take care of it and she's still with a smile on her face we then get to speak to a manager the manager's name was Shannon and she was acting as if we were in the wrong me and my husband and we were sitting there like this is crazy very very humiliating embarrassing and after the incident we asked for the bubbly personality waitress Crystal to be our waitress for the rest of the evening and had no more problems after that except for the fact that we overheard the manager Shannon talking to other employees laughing and talking about Crystal business personal business at that which I think is very very unprofessional and should not be done especially in front of customers or where it can be heard by anyone other than Crystal she spoke to Crystal as if Crystal was a child and her other employees also and to speak about someone's personal business with everybody in the restaurant like that is very very rude I just think that something should be done about this because I'm not the first person to come in I wasn't the first table that evening while we were sitting there still that had a problem with these two they should not be working in a public place that's my opinion but if anyone got treated like my husband and I did they would feel the same way I'm sure please do something about this they brushed it off as if we were nothing

IHOP discrimination

I was a former employee with IHOP located in Pleasanton Texas as a server. I am currently 14 weeks pregnant. I worked there from March 2016 to November 2016 and due to the nature of my abusive marriage, my husband made me quit. I have since then separated from him and he's been convicted of domestic violence on 3 counts against me which resulted in a 2 year protective order. I started working there again in late July 2017, and as recent as August 28, 2018, I had to quit due to treatment I received. I'm currently a high risk for miscarriage, confirmed by doctors at the local hospital and upon returning to work for IHOP, I had told the GM about special instructions due to the pregnancy, yet none of the other managers seem to care about those special instructions. The GM would further harass me about my abusive husband even after I had told him it was not a joke. My wellness doctor suggested that I file a complaint against the company since now I am without a job and no way to pay for my bills, and how it's affected me in a negative way. I currently suffer from anxiety and depression and I do not receive medication for it out of fear of how they medications make me feel. I'm filing this complaint through the website as physically walking into my former employment is too much for me right now. I would like to be contacted on how this issue my be resolved as soon as possible.

IHOP Unethical Behavior

I'm a former employee at the IHOP located in Hammond, IN. I did my job to the best of my ability, I was still in the learning stage and I'm still in high school. The managers at this location are extremely rude. They use their cell phones while in the dining area. They were very rude to me and other employees. The other employees were very lazy. They would sit in the break room and converse among themselves while they were clocked in. They would also use their phones in the dining area. Another thing that I noticed while working there was the fact that when they wanted to heat food up, they would microwave it. I witnessed a manager pick up bacon off of the floor and put it on the plate and told an employee that it never happened and they laughed about it. I also noticed that the employees are transmitting drugs within the facility. One employee sells muffins and some sort of gummy candy that are laced with marijuana. There have been numerous times where more than one employee would be in the dining area and interacting with guests while under the influence. One of the managers also sold her homemade tamales to the employees. Last time I checked, that's a health code violation. When guests would walk into the establishment, they complained about the smell, it reeked. There were often complaints of hair in the food and not completely washed silverware. All of the above ruined my working experience.

IHOP management - tammy

Very disrespectful to employees, unprofessional yelling I am the boss I can do what I want thru restaurant. Managers should not talk down to employees in demeaning manner. Much less yell thru restaurant. This is the 3rd time I have visited and have had very unpleasant time servers are visually upset due to the way they are being treated. This happened at ihop on south loop managers name was Tammy.
