IHOP poor service

Between 11:00am and 12:30pm January 31st 2017, my father and I went into the IHOP on 4818 Walzem Rd, San Antonio, TX 78218 to celebrate his birthday. The waitress (whose name I did not get but is Latino with dark hair) sat us down with no utensils or napkins, which immediately became a problem when we got our coffee and had no spoons to mix our cream and sugar, we ended up using straws we got because we also ordered water.

So when we finally order, I'm told that for the build a crepe breakfast, you can only get one crepe, and I wanted two, I said I'll pay extra for the crepe. The waitress said that's fine, my dad and I wait for our meals, at one point a different waitress dropped her dishes on the ground, was very unprofessional, was laughing and joking, but we ignored that, waited for about 30 minutes before we received our meals and there were issues: I was missing a crepe, and my father's food was cold. So he looks for a manager to complain while I'm eating the rest of my build a breakfast, waiting for my second crepe, when the waitress comes back with my father's meal reheated, and she had two crepes for me. When I said I only wanted the extra one, she said the crepes are ordered in pairs only, but I only wanted an extra crepe, I tried to explain that, my dad said 'let's just go' so we did.

Everything this morning was completely bad. I don't have anything to say for desirable resolution, but I wish the employees at that store were more professional, and should be allowed to order 1 extra crepe for a build a crepe breakfast. And if not, then the waitress should come back and explain that to the customer, not just let the order continue and say "two crepes are ordered in pairs" that's something I should have been told before I ordered.

IHOP druggie staff (including managers)

I have several friends at IHOP in Pflugerville, TX and have worked there previously. In the last year I have discovered how terrible it is all the way up to management. Lets start by saying over 2/3 of the staff is on drugs! No not an accusation, it's a fact. they even talk about it all the time. 3 of the current managers are users too. In fact I went to one and told him that the other one had admitted to using right before his shift and we should drug test since this is a family establishment, they said, "we would have to close the store if we tested everyone, so just do your job and forget what you heard. " WTH? I finally had to quit because the environment is too hostile. You have a small handful of people doing the right thing there, but not enough. I have seen other co-workers selling the drugs in the parking lot on breaks, they roll in for their shift smelling like weed from their car. Just a heads up people this is not a family friendly place its more of a drug palace. Users, stop in for pancakes with your blunt and crack, just ask a manager there may be a discount. #HIGHOP, #crackpancakes, #IHOPHIRESDRUGGIES

IHOP manager

Good afternoon, my name is Lindsay. I wanted to write a complaint on the manger in the Shawnee, Oklahoma location. Not specifically towards me, but towards the staff. She was extremely disrespectful to her staff and as I was eating my meal all I could hear was her griping at her staff. She was extremely unprofessional. She is in no position to be a manger in my opinion. The waitresses there were doing a great job, especially with that manager in their ears. I've never had any issues with this location until this specific Woman. I'm unaware of her name at this time.

IHOP management

I have a daughter that works at my local Ihop. They get alot of customers that try and run out on thier checks. My daughters boss has been making her and other employees pay the bill when this happens to thier table. My daughter has tried explaining to her boss this is illegal to make her do so. She is raising small children and can't afford to be taken advantage of like this!

IHOP food

I went to the Portsmouth Virginia IHOP and it was the worst experience I have ever had in an IHOP. First of all there were only 7 people in the IHOP when I arrived. Four of those people had already been fed. It took them 15 minutes to bring our drinks and another 40 minutes to get food. When we stood to leave, the waitress ran in the back and came out with food. Our food had 3rd degree burns. The belgian waffle looked like it was chocolate and was so crispy it sounded like the crushing of a bag of chips. A big bag. The waitress said "our manager is cooking tonight". Needless to say we got up and we left and we will nevergo back to the IHOP in Portsmouth Virginia ever again! SIGNED...A LOST CUSTOMER!

IHOP food, workers, and general manager

First off I love IHOP . My experience TODAY WAS THE WORST . As soon as we came in the door it smelled like pee . Then we got seated and it was trash EVERYWHERE, from the table to the floor, even the front desk. My sister and I ordered our food and received overly cooked pancakes . They were hard and we couldn't even cut them . Even my steak tips that I ordered. Then we asked our waitress for hot syrup and she gave us not even half of the container full. Next the cook didn't have on a uniform, he had on REGULAR street clothes. Then this lady walked from outside and went in y'alls kitchen and started arguing with the cook. So the cook started slinging the food around and fussing loud, it interrupted everyone . Then the lady started cooking the food after she scratched her hair and didn't have no hair net on. Then the score is a 88 . So I took a card to call the general manager and the number don't even work. We paid 28.99 for our meal and could not eat our pancakes.

IHOP quality of food and service very poor

Skye, the waitress, was rude did not get order correct and was never apologetic. The food came to the tablevas was huge, thick, pancakes that were batter filled in the middle and bacon that was burnt in places ond undercooked in others. The manager came to table not apologetic to the complaints just gave the check. These people from the cook, manager and waitress need a course in restaurant culture and service. They have no clue.

IHOP sick employees

Employees are being forced to work sick and hurt so sick in fact they are leaving in ambulance... How is this safe for not only them but my family as well... Im sorry but this is absolutely unacceptable.. Why should my family come into a place to eat that obviously doesnt take food safety or employee safety very serious why would they take mine serious? Ill think twice before coming back

IHOP managers

To whom it may concern

Hello my name Jamie I was a server at ihop in Clovis nm
They treated me unfair. Thursday night the cooks were intentionally taking to long on my orders. Today, Friday night, I had a table walk out because the cooks took to long to get the food out. At the beginning of my shift they would not give me a table kept skipping me. This went on for about two hours. There is a waitress named Kendra that works there, the week before all this happened she kept telling me that customers were asking for her so I was unable to have tables and make any money for myself. I am thanking about filling a lawsuit, I would like to speak to somebody from corporate about all of this please. I liked working there until everyone started treating me unfairly. I'm sure there are cameras to show everything I told you about.

IHOP multiple repeat charges to debit card used to pay at checkout

January 25, 2018 at 9:14 AM I paid $29.81 at checkout. Transaction was approved without difficulty. My card was again charged for the same amount at 1:11 PM then again at 1:12 PM. I called the store and spoke with manager Chad. I was told that he was expecting my call. I was told that the first transaction had not been completed and therefore was charged again.He explained that my card was charged a third time in error. I asked what would have happened had I not noticed the discrepancy and not called. The manager stated that he knew I would have called. I was assured that the transactions would be reversed and credited back to my account in a few days. I frequent this iHop often and have never experienced anything like this. I would like an explanation as to what caused this to happen if possible.

IHOP meal at restaurant

This evening I wanted to utilize one of my buy one get one meal free ticket so we went to the restaurant for dinner.
* My son ordered pancakes with strawberries & bananas plus a side of bacon and a Sprite.
* I order an omelette with spinach and mushroom and water with lemon. On my order I asked specifically for no cheese.
Although the food was taking an unusually long time and we were hungry, we were patient. The issue started once my plate started coming to the table. The waitress showed it to me and said, you didn't want this sauce on here did you? I said no, so she took it back to the kitchen and asked the cook to make another without the sauce.
A new omelette came out without sauce and I began eating it. I enjoyed about two bites and it was tasty and good until I got to the middle... there was cheese cooked into it.
I told the waitress then I said that I would eat it but that she may want to tell the cook. She asked if I wanted to send it back and get what I wanted. I said that would be great if I could get it to go since my son was finished with his meal.
She went back to the kitchen and asked him to make it again without any sauce and cheese and to make it to go.
She then brought me the bill and offered a special break but that I couldn't use the coupon if I did that. I said whichever is cheaper.
She adjusted the ticket and brought it back to the table and said that she had taken something off of the check for me.
I looked at the check and realized that I had been charged for 2 sodas and 2 plates of bacon while she had removed the omelette.
Again, our order was one soda, one side of bacon, all you can eat pancakes, my omelette without any cheeses.
What they added onto my bill which I did not order was the same cost as the omelette that they had removed from the bill.
Overcharging for what we did not order to equal the amount of what was taken off is not giving me any kind of a break.
I took a photo of the check and have attached it below.
I will be going to other restaurants that serve breakfast in Little Rock when I'm here but plan to avoid the one on Chenal Pkwy & Hermitage Rd.

IHOP no service

I arrived at the establishment @ 530. I recieved menu but the waitress whom was sitting by the kitchen with her friends had not taken my order by 545. Two other families arrived at 545 and their order was being taken by waitress asap. When i asked her if she was going to take my order she ignored me and return to sit with her friends.no one is in uniform so you dont know who works here or not. I complained to a nice older lady who was in uniform and she apologised and took my order. 622 and still not recieved food.

IHOP bullying harassment from gm

I've worked for Ihop on and off in Nashville, TN Ellison place. When I first got there, there wasn't any GM so managers were basically running the store. At first everything was going well. When the servers complained about the first shift manager I just brushed it off as (they don't like each other), but then I saw the way the manger spoke certain staff. Calling them dumb, stupid, and anything else they could be at that moment. I finally had enough an quit when the manger busted through the back down cursing at stay during at rush on night shift. She (the day manager) has a habit of sending Co workers in while on FaceTime to see what's going on. I watch this happen. This took power away from the other managers. They wouldn't help they would just show up with her (the manager) on the video chat then leave. I witness the night manager get Called stupid and dummy. When asked for corporates number they won't give it. They just say why do you need it. After that? You're now a target. It's taken me months to figure out how to reach out and contact corporate. What's what I was told the numbers and complaints all come back to the first shirt manager who is now the GM. I watched the night manager suffer harrassment from the now GM and staff who work directly under her. The rest of the servers have no way out. If they speak out they are harrasses. This is My last hope to contact someone before I get a lawyer. I have text, video, and audio to back up my complaints. I've since quit (after coming back) due to the same thing. Other servers are still being mistreated and they need help. I will attach just one picture because I'm not sure who's hands this will end up in and I won't give away all of my cards.

IHOP management and crew

I'd like to remain anonymous. I am an employee of the lake Charles Louisiana store on Admiral King Drive. Let me tell you about this ihop, it is [censor]. Half the staff there is doing drugs, the other half is lazy and doesn't care about their jobs. Even the management is screwed, someone (not sure who) is stealing money out of the register and the GM is shorting people's hours on their checks and you better hope he doesn't come in in a bad mood cause then he will withhold your check from you til the next day. Oh and did I mention that management is covering for a wanted criminal? One of their cooks had the cops after him and management told the cops he took off. Although you never know what's going on in this place because everyone who works here is petty and likes to start rumors just for [censor] and giggles. The phone number they have on the wall for corporate is actually the number for the owner who just turns around and ignores what you tell him. Their service is bad and working here is a million times worse. I don't even want to leave but I feel like I have no choice because of how I get treated. The GM Samy just treats everyone like trash and disrespects them, and my coworkers refuse to stand up to him or do anything about it. THey are trying to teach me to just lie down and take it. He likes to yell just to yell and if he's in a bad mood he sends random people home forcing the rest of his staff to work understaffed and overworks them. Please someone shut this store down and hire a new GM. Do something. He has even had SEXual harassment claims put in against him that the owners ignore cause they are friends with him. He is rumored to Ben sleeping with one of his subordinates as well and flirts with her obviously at times which isn't both disturbing and unprofessional. Please do something about this ihop.

IHOP service

My daughter went to revere, ma ihop friday pm. The bill was $35.07 the server patrick said card didnt work and have to take to run thru again. I got home and saw they puy both yrsns thru charging me $35.07 I called right away and. Was told call in am. I called sat am spke with kristin who said she will call me back in 2 hrs. She never did. I called sat pm they said nothing they can do till am. I called on behalf my daughter spoke to mgr ezra explained you are holding her $ hostage and I want complete refund of both chges for all this nonsense clearl2 ihop error. He said need to bring card in for refund. I was upset this couldnt have beem told to us 2 days prior. He saod I will take care of u either fupl refund or coupons etc. We went all the way over for refund and got $35.07 and coupons you would get in newspaper for %20 off! I am so upset with the depth of the poor customer service thru thos ordeal.

IHOP no compensation or follow-up to previous complaint

I put in a complaint in late December 2017 as I got food poisoning (campylobacter) from the IHOP in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The management's response to my complainant was terrible, offered no compensation and did not take me seriously. I received a call from the GM of the store on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, apologizing and said they are looking into it. That is the last I have heard. I have received no compensation in any way, shape or form. I had to take a week off of work, lost out on my New Year's plans etc. as I was in bed sick for 5 days. I think this is absolutely appalling that they didn't even offer to refund our meals or anything. I have heard from many people that when an incident happened at other restaurants, they received a ton of compensation. This is horrible customer service by this company.

IHOP service

I did an online order at 11:30 am I have my confirmation and was supposed to be ready at 11:54am my husband go to pick it up and after 30 minutes around 12:30 they told him they couldn't find the order but they will prepare the food now, really 30 minutes later the food could be ready on those 30 minutes, I call and ask to talk to the manager who answer pretty sarcastic saying: I don't have nothing to tell you, we couldn't find the order, and even ask me you want to talk to your husband ? I don't call the store to talk to my husband! No sorry, our bad, nothing! And this is the second time that I have a problem with this restaurant the first time they have my food ready but sent it incomplete.

IHOP manager

Hi, I work at the IHOP on University and Rural (85281) in Tempe, AZ. Our newly promoted manager, Candra May, is absolutely unprofessional and hurting the team. A coworker of mine reported being bullied and she called him an "orphan [censor]" and posted his note to her Snapchat (which a lot of the staff working under her can see) including a photo of her throwing "his opinions" in the trash. She gloats being an IHOP manager and employee on her social media but also shares scantily-clad photos with marijuana use and underage drinking. I want to remain anonymous because I need this job, but her behavior is a big problem for many of us.

IHOP a picture going viral on social media

Hi my name is Kaylene. I came accross this picture on social media of your employee's. This picture is extremely inappropriate, especially with a manager and two females acting this way at work. OBVIOUSLY using the middle finger like that shows a lack of commitment, self worth and truly degrading IHOP as a company! This is in McMinnville, OR. Me nor my family will be joining IHOP any time soon due to this! This is a very small town and I understand having fun... But not like this! I am extremely bothered and dissapointed as a customer!

What's the back story on this? I reversed image this and it didn't came up. I don't consider this a big deal. There are real issues going on in the world and this is not one of them.

IHOP management and servers

I wish to remain anonymous. I am an employee at the branson IHOP location. There are servers stealing food and taking advantage that one of the manager is a friend. The attitude of the management is ridiculous and needs to be investigated. I am concerned that one of the manager is racist to Mexican and black people. I have never had to deal with people like this
