IHOP service and food

Food: coffee vanilla, coffee mocha: GREASE globules in both coffee cups. When we told the waiter, Sean 153, he said it was the sweetener and brought more coffee. When it got cold, the globules turned white. ugh

Service: I asked three times for more napkins. The guy ignored me and proceeded to fill syrup bottles. I had to take them from the adjoining tables.

Service: I asked him to honor the SENIOR special, pay for one get one free. He "forgot" that and charged full price.

Service: We had to leave our table and pay another waiter/cashier because this waiter never came back. He hurried to the register but we had already finished the transaction.

Food: the burger and the fries were greasy. This wasn't the first time I had ordered the double cheeseburger. It was awful.

Service: another couple came in with us, and we had time to eat and leave. They STILL had not received their food. Shocking.

IHOP service

Waited in line; at the front of the line directly to the right (east) of the register. There wasn't a sole at the register at the time. I was here for a call in order. Stood there for 3 mins until a costumer for the dining area with a check arrived at register. Manager hurried over to assist him and the subsequent costumers after, 3 bills in total. Gave me much additude as I complained about the reason for the lack of service. " I didn't see you"(I'm 6'3" and 335lbs but she didn't see me)..."the line starts here". While one of the costumer nodes his head towards me to inform her I was there 1st. She scoffs and blows him off. I frequent the location in Grandview, mo ( Truman corners )three nights a week as I am a overnight shift worker and spent upwards of $60-$75 a week at this IHOP location. I am so offended and so upset that this organization and this location in particular...IHOP will never receive any money from me ever again...waffle house is my only option now. I will also notify all my follow auto workers who frequent the location here and the château Trafficway (in north Kansas City, mo) location of my experiences here. There are a lot of auto workers (a ford and GM plant) that work the evening and night shift that utilize IHOP as their purchase point of choice . There are other options but we as a group have also chosen to use this as our gathering place... that trend has ceased! Thanks a lot. 10:00 am on 7-4-2017...Ps I was still a patron of this location even after being directed by Grandview Police Department some years ago with caution tape around the area at that shooting had occurred here during the normal hours that I would attend this IHOP ...the writing was on the wall then I should've stop coming at that point .

IHOP mariah diaz

This employee should be written up or fired bc She was drinking on the job & was caught on camera yesterday Sunday. I'm not sure if anything was done I tried calling corporate but got no where. I'm fed up w/ this young lady. She's very disrespectful to her Marcia her manager & speaks of unholy things personal life/ sexual life knowing kids are in the restaurant. I am a regular& think something should be done. This should NOT be dismissed I'm very disappointed.

IHOP quality of food, service.👎

I've been a loyal customer if IHOP for over 40 years until now.
My wife and I visited IHOP store number 2038 in lindenhurst ny on 7/2/2017 at 12:00 pm. This was the last straw, we will no longer be loyal customers.
It seems that IHOP dedication to good service and quality food has gone down the tubes. IHOP has always been my go to place for a good breakfast. On the day that we went, the pancakes tasted rubbery and old. I had the Californian breakfast and my wife had a short stack. We bothe had a side of sausage.
I chose home fries over hash browns because they looked appetizing on the menu. To my dismay they had no flavor and were just a greasy mess. My wife wanted to order the sweet tea as well as shown on the menu but they didn't have any. I wanted raspberry tea and was never offered a refill. We had to track down the waitress just to get the check. At that point that is when we were asked how our food was.
Inattentive service and poor quality food leads to two lost customers .

IHOP damaging of my clothes and unprofessional supervisors

I went to Ihop #1519 on July 2, 2017 at 1245 am. Denise became my server, she was kind. Everything from my order was bad or incorrect. The coffee was served cold, the hash brown was burnt, the pancakes served on a dirty plate with strawberries and I'm allergic to them. The supervisor did not come to my table and ask me about my order even after she set my pancakes on my table. Very rude and unprofessional. But the worse part of it was their was gum on the seat it ruined my pants, my car seat and my sofa. I called the ihop supervisor later that morning and spoke to Jaime at 0947 he promised to call me back later between 1500 hours and 1600 hours. I went back to the restaurant to see who Jaime was for myself and to check that seat at 1020 hours. The gum stain was still their. Jaime was able to see it himself but he lied because the call was never made. I want my pants replaced, my seats cleaned, and your supervisors to learn how to do their jobs properly.

IHOP service

Never been to an IHOP where the problem was without a doubt a lack of employees to work. Today is Monday and after waiting for 30 minutes to be seated, we are just getting food at the 1 hr and 30 minute mark. The servers are nice but no one came to apologize for the wait. In the picture you will see dirty tables and unset tables. While waiting I watch at least four families walkout due to the wait. There are plenty of empty tables to sit everyone that is waiting. The service here has nothing like I would expect from such a well known food chain. There appears to be little to no management.

IHOP food

We entered IHOP at 2:45am. Our server was fazio, he probably wasent have a good night. He wasent very friendly. Our food was a little state and over cooked chicken tenders. Halfway through our food we see multiple stands of hair. We called the server and showed him. He mentioned that he didn't put it there maybe it came from my hair. I have straight hair. The strand was really curly. I asked for the manager and he mentioned no one is there, not even a supervisor. All I was offered was an attitude and a side waffle. Very unprofessional and disgusting, food and server hygiene. I threw up after I noticed the hair in the food.

IHOP food and manager

My sandwich was over cooked the ham was so over cooked i could barely chew it. On each half of the sandwich it was only bread no meat. Has browns only cook on one side. Wanted scrambled eggs i don't know what i got. The mgr no help at all very unconcerned. The server wad more concerned then the manager. Do not think i will go back to this location.

IHOP service, food & manager on duty

We went to the ihop at On highway 85 87 In fountain Colorado we arrived and was seated by what we now know to be the manager On duty and she did not give us menus she just shoved a couple of tables together as quick as she could and had a sit down after 15 minutes of waiting and the restaurant filling up with more customers and them getting served and receiving menus and getting their orders field I went and got another waiter to help us which got us our menus 10 minutes later we finally gave Our orders to our waiter and then we received our drinks we did not receive crackers that we asked for We waited almost an entire hour for our food our waiter did not even bring refills that he said he would when we receive the food it was refrigerator cold all of it not one item all of it when I asked to speak to the manager the woman that set us at our table approached me and asked what she could do for me I explained to her what had happened she plopped on the bench next to me curled-up her legs and said I was right there when that came up to the window it must have been the cook at that point we got our things To leave at which point She ask if we would like her to have it re cooked with-in this time by the way everyone that had came into the restaurant after us have received all of their food and it was all hot we did not have time to sit there and wait another hour for them to cook our food and bring it to us cold again so we left I will never go to another ihop I know that might not affect your business very Much but for me and my grandchildren am I children-and husband that means we will never have to experience that again

IHOP customer service

Hello my name is Eva Gomez. I recently had dinner at a location in Garland Tx. It was Friday 6-16-17 . We got to the restaurant and we were greeted by someone. They took us to a table as soon as the waitress saw us. She said no. I'm going home she didn't want serve us. So they took us to another table. We sat there for 10 minutes no one came to our table to take our order. I had to get up and find a server. We finally got someone to help us. Later we noticed that the waitress across from us did have tables the one that did not want to serve us. I was very upset because she had said she was going home. I think She was racist or something how come she denied service to us but she had other tables. We had a horrible experience there.
Mindy was the server that said she wasn't serving us. I just wanted to let you know how unprofessional that was and the fact that we waited for 10 minutes before someone could help us. Our food was cold I wasn't satisfied with the service. Our waitress did take good care of us. But the rest was horrible.

IHOP wrongfully terminated

I was an employee for ihop for four years as a supervisor in the 164th fishers landing ihop. Sara vega was my main manager there was an incident almost a year prior to now, where a guest came in during graveyard, me as the only server on also acting supervisor had gotten a complaint from another guest about this first with his shoes off and socks sticking straight out of the booth, laying down. He was intoxicated and on/off sleeping. I asked him to please sit up numerous times while his friend ate and was saying he was resting his eyes. After numerous attempts to awake him I succeed and his friend said lets go, then the man went to the front lobby and plugged his phone in laying down at guest entrance. I went to the kitchen and asked my co worker alex harrison what she thought I should do. We agreed he had to exit and come back to speak w sara vega. He then left, in the am I reviewed w her the happenings of the night she said ok. Months went by and I was still on graveyard, he came in again I explained if he hadn't spoken w my manger, I wouldn't serve him, he turned and exited... Now to may this guest came in again, I wasn't management on the shift and when I saw him waiting at front I explains to my co - worker the previous happenings. She then started going to front and he right away said what that girl won't serve me, I bet its because my name is muhammad! I was in ears range and replied I had no idea what rave he was but due to his sleeping he was asked to not return. He then started yelling I was a racist. I called police, he called other friends of his up and when the police arrived he was aggressive w them. Police escorted him out and never asked me any questions. Me and the supervisor on duty wrote statements. June 1 talked to by sara vega about not releasing news statements, and him calling threating I should be fired. June 6, shift at 10am, upon arrival called into office a co worker /supervisor (which i'm sure is against policies) was in w sara vega she stared asking questions about why I thought it was ok to ask to leave, what made me think that was ok, I explained I was told in my 3 years of supervision on nights some situation do arise where we have to ask a guest to leave and can contact other mangers to waive decision. She said this was false after35 min of her talking down to me I got up and left., saying innaporite word. I was then contact by my former co - worker about what happened and she remember the incident because she was the cook that night and she remembers me talking w her what to do and her seeing him acting intoxicated, she is willing to make statements. I was wrongfully accused of being a racist and fired after years of excellent service. Many times I worked multiple job codes, my manger treated me rudly making comments about my perfume smelling, and also texting me about work on a regular basis after she said policy said no texting is allowed for work issues. I have contacted news team katu to find out if there is an investigation like sara said, my good name is at risk and no racist talk ever came until the third time he came back. I am filling a lawsuit and complaint with federal also. No employee should be treated this way. [protected] my phone number and my full name christina oropeza vazquez. Action needs to be taken.

IHOP service & attention

We were seated about 8:25 at a fairly not so full venue and didn't get our order taken till about 9:10. It took another 25 minutes to get our food and we weren't even getting refills on our drinks. One thing I noticed was that as we were waiting, I saw employees walking in to start their day so every time somebody came to our table it was a different person. I don't think we'll ever be back to this store.

IHOP manager

My boyfriend and I came to the location on chouteau Trafficway in KCMO store #5334 and in our time there we found 1) a bug in my food, 2) a bug in his drink, 3) leaking from the ceiling onto our plates, 4) and lip stick stains on our glasses. We talked to the manager and he did nothing and had an excuse for everything. Our favorite part was when he told us that if the bugs weren't roaches it's not necessarily a problem. WHAT?! A BUG IS A BUG! Also with the dirty glasses he says that it's not the dishwasher that cleans the glasses. So how do those dishes get cleaned? And with water dripping from the ceiling into our food apparently it was just condensation and there's nothing he can do about that. I have never had a worse restaurant experience in my life! Our waitress GeGe was great but the manger Gary was a joke! He even went back to talk trash on us to the employees after our conversation! We heard him! We will not be back and my suggestion is to do something about Gary the manager. He should NOT have that title let alone even a job with this company. We are so SO disappointed and want something done about this.

IHOP all of it. worst experience ever!!!

We went to IHOP earlier in week for lunch. Excellent. We went back tonight, 6/15/2017, we ordered, and the macaroni and cheese for the grand kids were cold, the hamburger my granddaughter ordered well done, was raw. Just browned on outside. My husband and I both ordered Sr. breakfast, we pointed it out to waitress. Food arrives, ice cold, bacon raw, not well done. Toast cold and no butter, pancake was cold, so were the eggs and hash browns. We asked for silverware as only 2 sets were on table. There were 5 of us at table. We finally got up and got it ourselves after 30 minutes. It was the worst meal we have ever had, we just came home from Mexico and had not eaten since last night, otherwise we would have walked out! Waitress returns only after we complained to a waiter and told him what happened to our food and service. Then the bill! Another horror story! My husband is charged $6.99 for his and on mine she put every item separate, $14.00 for the same breakfast. We complained, and manager asked waitress, we heard her flat out lie to him. I went up and told to her face we heard you lie, in front of your manager, and we had already told her about her service, after the waiter we told told her what we said, and we told the manager so, He gave us back a partial Payment to make up difference in meals less the AARP discount., $4.00..The new IHOP At Blossom Hill Road in San Jose, CA is the worst meal we have ever had all over the world and the worst service we ever had. There is nothing worse than a liar and our waitress was not only a liar, she did as little as possible and could not even get us silverware. So incompetent. We will never go back there ever. We were in shock At the way we were dismissed and treated like idiots by your manager. Never, not one word of apology. We live in a very nice senior park. At the meeting 2 weeks ago we heard all kinds of negative stories about this IHop, which we dismissed, because we gave eaten at IHops fir 44 years abd gad nothing but excellent experiences. Turns out after tonight, we know the horror stories are all true. A place that specializes in pancakes, serves an old, cold pancake that had been sitting around. How do you mess up eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast, pancakes, cheeseburger and macaroni and cheese. It really was the worst food ever, and it was embarrassing to have to go through this. We will never eat there again! Nor will we ever have a good thing to say about IHop on Blossom Hill Road in San Jose. Since we could not eat the food we paid for at IHop, we left there and went to Jack in the Box and got edible food that was hot. Last time we we will ever pay $45.00 for cold food anywhere! Did I mention it took 35 minutes after we ordered to get our food with only a few customers in the restaurant.

IHOP my manager and waitresses

Ive been putting a to go order ready for a customer and a waitress thinks saying "can you move your vagina out of the way?" Is nice when it is clearly 5 feet away from her. I have been harassed, asked personal questions, and yelled at by her becuase im not gonna do it back to her. I told the manager about her and how she treats me now im being sexually harassed too? Next I see clean tables why not sit down a few people while I can. Instead of a waitress telling me "hey we cant cuz we are cleaning or the manager said so" your gonna yell and CURSE at me infront of customers "becuase I said so IVE been here longer so I know how to do a host job". even though your a waitress not me the host her self. I dont want to answer questions why people are treating me this way I shouldnt have to answer customers those kinds of questions. The waitress tells on me saying "I have a smartass mouth", Also in front of customers . When I tried to tell the manager whats happening and if I cant do this she shouldnt treat me like that in front of customers becuase that is UNPROFESSIONAL period. He interrupts me and says im arguing when im not arguing, im agreeing with him and sends me home for talking back FOR THE FIRST TIME ive even ran my mouth for how everyone has treated me. I understand I shouldn't have argued (if I did) but I felt he needed to know what ive been going threw the past month instead of ignoring me and getting rid of me by sending me home after all I never caused trouble before why all of a sudden should I start now? Btw I am not mad but I will be filing SEXUAL HARASSMENT complaint against the waitress becuase its also being a bully. This is the one in south MacArthur drive Alexandria Louisiana

IHOP food and negligence

On June 2nd, I visited the IHOP restaurant in Hialeah Gardens, Florida, located on Hialeah Gardens Blvd. I went with my two children, ages 7 and 9. It was their graduation day. After their graduation, we went to get a quick bite to eat at IHOP, before catching a movie.

Our server was Elio. My daughter wanted the three small pancakes from the kids menu, that included eggs and bacon. We asked Elio to please substitute the eggs with another slice of bacon because my daughter has an EGG ALLERGY.

He stated that he could not do so. I told him well we're not getting the eggs because she's allergic, can't it be substituted. His reply, well I could do it for hash browns. My daughter doesn't like hash browns I replied. (Isn't the purpose of eating out to order something that you like). I replied, well we always come here and the eggs get replaced on the kids combo with one slice of bacon because she can't eat eggs. I asked dont you ever get people with food allergies, what do you do in that circumstance? I'm already not getting the eggs I'm paying for in the combo, I stated. His response was I don't know why in the past they've done that but I cannot. Then he suggested I can pay a dollar extra to get one slice of bacon. I said but I'm not getting the eggs, which I'm paying for in the combo.

By this time I was just beside myself of his poor customer service and lack of care. I could see the entrance to the kitchen from where we were seated. I hear him complaining about me to someone in the kitchen. He was stating, I'm not going to substitute what she wants. So I took a few deep breaths, thinking ok I'm not going to let him ruin our moment for a measly restaurant check under $40. It wasn't even the money bc lord knows I can more than afford our meal. It was the principle of it all and comparing prior servers, he was obviously having a bad day or wanted to be an [censor] (excuse my wording but that was exactly what I was thinking).

I let it go, because as I previously mentioned, I was not going to allow someone's bad attitude ruin our day. The food wasn't even up to par as it normally is. My son complained that his mini burgers had a lot of fat parts in it, and left the food. My daughter received the three small pancakes and one slice of bacon. When I paid, I even tipped him, to much regret afterwards.

We went to see a movie and not far into it, my daughter began to complain that she felt bad. We left the movie. When we walked out and into the light, her face was red, extremely swollen, and was experiencing difficult breathing. I rushed her to the ER. Can you guess what she had?! I'll tell you, it was an allergic reaction to EGGS!

From the beginning I told Elio at IHOP restaurant that she has an egg allergy!

If instead of complaining and talking about us in the kitchen, he would have put his efforts on communicating to the person preparing our food, about my daughter's food allergy, this would of been avoided. What a [censor] server and a [censor] thing to do to a child.

My job is in clinical marketing for the Memorial Hospitals. Of course it extends to all aspects of clinical and customer service. So my question is, are we not properly training restaurant servers and personnel on food allergies and its severity? Much educated must be provided as even cross contamination can be life threatening to a person.

I will not be visiting that IHOP and I hope Elio learns of how his actions or lack of, can have serious effects on someone's health.

IHOP customer service

I was at the IHOP at 134 w Woodlawn rd in charlotte nc and I can honestly say this is the nastiest slowest IHOP I've ever been to I had to wait 45 mins for my food and 15 mins to even to even order the staff charged me for orange juice when I received water I will say there was a party of 20 people being served when I came in so I was told they come first and I have to wait I will be speaking to the GM about this I won't be back plus the manager walks around talking about the boil under her arm and uses profanity regularly

IHOP general manager

On may 27th while driving in through the back of oh ok I was held at gun point by a customer who was dining at oh ok for a mistaken identity. Police were contacted and general manager kimberly of dublin ihop. Ca was called and responded due to police needing video footage.. Kimberly arrived and while I was interviewing with the officer put her arm on my shoulder and said "know we dislike each other but your still my worker and said she was sorry that happened to me. I proceeded to give my statement of what happens and af we minutes later kimberly gm came back and said please stay i. Have no one else to. Work i.. Crying and very emotional because of what happens and the officer asked kimberly gm if she ge t the police footage and kimberly stated can this wait for tomorrow i'll put it on a flashdisk and that she was not on. The clock me and that officer stopped and looked. At her and the officer stated.. Do u care about the safety of your worker
She never answered and walked away say i. Guess i'll do it and called the officer a [censor] in spanish. This made me. Feel very uncomfortable.. And since the incident she hasn't spoke with me at all.

IHOP ihop in union city nj 07087

I went to ihop to eat with my family. I ask to eat in dining room that was close because other dining room was full .. the host told me I had to wait until people finish eat .. I waited half hour just to sit down .. plus the server ask me how old is my son because I was ordering from kids menu.. my daughter want to get change the cash register was rude to her...

IHOP managers and staff

manager was very insulting to me and anxiety was at its highest. At times, I felt discouraged and felt harassed because I could not find a red shirt that was supposed to be issued to me. I am so sorry but they way they speak to you as a new hire was discouraging. I asked for pancakes and the manager walked away. Than a few minutes later I had to ask again. Vary humiliated. I had a hard time getting home after work and he said "I did not see your Van" which had broke down days before I started work and he said I talked to myself was inappropriate. I tried very hard to get back and forth to work. A few managers were using curse words and very disrespectful to me. I was grateful for the job. However, no team work and Manager would be praying in the employee lounge while guest at the front door... my complaint is that manager was very disrespectful to me. I had to leave due to transportation however I felt bad and harassed.

I Called for take out order and the phone rang without noone answering the phone, this happens very often. And the Manager took his time before helping me. I arrived at store and it was not busy. I called several times and when we came in my mother was using a walker and had to stand at the door for a while. The server walked right by and it appears the Manager was on his cell phone. I cant travel to another Ihop this is close to my home. The food was very very good. But the phone rang all day . Very strange.
