IHOP management cursing and disrespecting employees in front of guest

This complaint is coming from an ACTIVE DUTY SOLDIER. I am a regular attending the ihop in rock hill, at least 3-4 times a week. I know every single employee and when they hire a new employee, today I went went in with my grandparents because they were in town and had never been to an ihop before. From what I can assume the manager today, has yet again cursed out another employee, I'm honestly getting sick of this! Like good management would pull the person to the side and make it a learning experience, not making the server feel like complete crap. I've been coming to this ihop for a quite some time and I see it happen almost everytime! This is truly ridiculous... I'm so outraged that I can't even bring my children or wife around this place anymore, I seriously think this manager should be fired or at least have a re-evaluation to see if he should even be considered for a management position. I've seen and done a lot of crap, that I have to deal because of my job but this is a franchise who should keep it professional at all points. Children and senor citizens shouldn't have to deal at all with this behavior from a manager.

IHOP waitresses

I've been to this restaurant a few times. But however the last two times, I've been treated like [censored]. Last night a waitress came up to where I was sitting talking to my waitress, and started flipping out on me due her thinking that the cook was being rude to her. She continued to swear at me, and tell me to keep my f*cking boyfriend is check. The cook is my husband, but I don't get involved in work stuff. Then she continued to yell and cause an issue. Then the assistant manager spoke to the cook and the waitress, the problem was not solved. She came back out and still continued to talking crap. As I go to leave another waitress that is friends with her decided to call me an over weight [censored] in front of a table with customers at.
Husband spoke to the boss, and nothing was done. He didn't check video or even put a stop to it. I've been to this restaurant several times and never had a complaint. Now I'm filing this complaint and calling the head person that owns these stores. Being a paying customer, I shouldn't have to deal with the way I was treated and talked too.

IHOP fired for no reason

Hi, I am Jaylin Holland and I was fired around on may because. My general said I stole something outside of ihop and I wouldn't give it back also I wouldn't fix the situation. So I was at a friend house and took something by accident. But the next day later I gave it back. so the friend co-worker that was working in ihop, told the assistant manager I stole a object. but I really didn't I gave it back. Before that, the co-worker went to my house and took my shoes when I gave it back the object to them. So I called the police. After that the the assistant manager wanted me to come to work I said "no" because my co-worker threatens me so the general manager fired me. Also when I was working in ihop SOME people was criticizing me saying I stolen money on my co-workers tips but I DIDN'T the managers wasn't checking the cameras and they believed them because they was jealous of me doing a good job if I had stoled I would've been in jail but I didn't. so that's another reason they fired me please contact me at [protected] -JAYLIN HOLLAND

IHOP food at ihop

I just got home from restaurant no. 1298, us 31 south Indianapolis.
My friend and I were there for over two hours. We both ordered coffee but split one small pot that did not work until we unscrewed the lid off of the pot. In the time we were there that's all the coffee that was offered. I ordered an omelet, the same omelet I have ordered for over thirty years. they brought out the wrong one. I never send back food but in this case after trying it twice, I just didn't like it so I sent it back and specified what I wanted and they brought out, after a half an hour, the same omelet I got the first time. In the time we were there many customers came after we arrived and left before us. My friend finished her food, all I ever got was three pancakes. All the time I was there the manager never left their office. This wasn't the waitresses fault, Managers should know what is going on at all times. I have been going to this IHOP for 25 to thirty years, through several managers some good and some fair. I will not be back! I have five thousand friends on face book who value my opinion, 5100 0n Linkedin and more! I'm going to share this with my friends.
I didn't pay for the omelet I ordered but never received.

IHOP food, service

We stopped at Ihop while we were in San Diego. We ordered the dark chocolate Belgian pancakes combo meal for pancakes with sunny side up eggs. When we received the order, it was hard boiled eggs with a hair in it. When we pointed it out, they didn't even take the food back because we had already eaten the pancakes. We took pictures after we told her about the hair because the food was never removed from our table. The waitress blew off our concern so we are addressing it with you.

IHOP service

On Thursday July 25th 2018 me and my daughter and her boyfriend ate at IHOP in Enid Oklahoma, the total of as over $33 but wasn't quite $34 well the next day we looked at our acct on our phone and IHOP had charged over $37 on our card! We did not leave a tip as the service was not good! I went to IHOP Friday afternoon when we found the over charge they told us the manager that could fix it wasn't there but that he would be there Saturday and would call me.. Sunday I still hadn't heard from them so i went back to IHOP to talk to the manager I talked to the same manager that I talked to Friday her name was Jen she told me the manager that I had to talk to was helping a customer which would have been fine but I waited 10 mins for that manager before I left it does not take 10 mins to help a customer.. I'm tired of the runaround either y'all fix this or I will file a fraud report I'm done playing games!

IHOP service

I was just at the front royal, VA IHOP. LUNCH TIME. At least 10 tables/booths had not been cleared. The hostess did not offer me a drink while I waited and apparently did not tell the server they had a new table. After 10 minutes of not being waited on, in an empty restaurant, surrounded by uncleand. Tables, I left! The hostess was up front doing nothing. No wonder it was empty at high noon. I won't be back!

IHOP lack of service... timely wait

We went to IHOP Montgommery, TX with our neighbors for brunch. When we arrived there were many empty tables. We were asked to have a seat while "he" located a table . We were seated quickly, at a table next to the restrooms and waited at a minimum 10 minutes for a server. We placed orders and told it would be 10 minutes to get the order in and 25 minutes minimum before our food would come out because they were busy...many empty tables. We left and chose another local restaurant . This is the third chance we have given this restaurant location and second time with the same lack of personnel . Won't be back again!

IHOP customer service

Ihop next to jersey garden mall at the mills.
I wanted to ask the manager, whom I found out her name was Wendy, but she did not let me even ask her and told me that if I don't like my table I can wait or leave even though my question was not about the table. When I said that I did not get to ask her my question, she said ok go ahead talk, with a very nasty attitude, I felt offended and I respectfully said that's ok. Don't worry about it. She goes: I don't need to worry about it. She was very mean, nasty and condescending. I had to suck it up because my family was there and did not want to ruin it for them but I was very upset and offended. I really hope not to see her here again. The rest of the staff were very nice as always.

IHOP take out order

My wife can not tolerate meat, so she asked if she order a bacon, lettuce and tomatoe sandwich but have substitute avocado for the bacon. When we got the sandwich it had avocado, lettuce, tomatoes and bacon. Fortunately we checked. I told this is not we ordered. About 5 minutes later they brought back the sandwich. They just removed the bacon. Now everyone knows that bacon juice gets into the bread and everything. My wife could not eat this! I asked them to completely make it from scratch correctly as we ordered it. The one who originally took the order was not happy I asked for this redo, and had an attitude. We waited for almost 30 minutes. Finally another employee asked if we were still waiting for our order. I said yes and told it has been almost 30 minutes. Five minutes laterwe get our order. My wife was very unhappy and we just left. When we got home what we got didn't even resemble a perfectly made sandwich. My wife had to out together herself. I never coming back and do my best to let people know what happened!

What do you expect from a Ihop? You are dealing with fry cooks. You waited 30 minutes because you pissed them off. Go somewhere upscale. They have trained professionals that work there and they care. Hope you learned your lesson.

IHOP my order/ service

I come to this ihop in kansas city off 40hwy in independence mo at least 4 tumes a week cause its close and i respect the cooks and love the food. The serive is NOT GREAT AT ALL. I alwats call in my TOGO order the same everytime. One time i was rild they were not takung TOGI orders by some kid. Then a server tried to tell me my order was 5.00$ More. After i corrected her the manager took 20 min to come ans fix my order. My first job was as ihop and i am a chef in downtown kansas city and this is crazy.

IHOP service

Went to ihop Saturday 7/28/2018at approx 8pm we had to yell to girl to get our attention that we were waiting to be seated she told the other girl and she seated us got us drinks and then went to back of restaurant and sat down she came back and took our order then went and sat down again she never came back to see if we needed anymore to drink a guy with red shirt on and back pack came in and sat out back with our server we sat there for about 10-15 minutes and did not get our food the guy with red shirt got up went to kitchen and came out with burger plate we thought it was our food he carried it out back of restaurant and put on table and sat down
About that time my husband and I got up and said how much do we owe you for drinks the guy in red shirt got up went to kitchen looked in the door and said just wait a minute my husband said no we waited to long for two burger plates we don't think anybody made our food because there was a guy in black shirt that looked like the cook out back talking to the server and guy with red shirt
We would have understood the wait if they were busy but there was only two other people at a table
There was only lady with black and white shirt on talking to the server and guy with red shirt
Now we know why they had no customers because they don't care
They need to let those employees go and get some managers in there that know how to run the restaurant because this location is going downhill
I will be posting on social media about the service at this location and will not go back there
This is not the first time there that I had bad service went there one night when server was cooking because the cook did not come in and they said 45 minute wait
I have been in food service for 20 years and all this is doing is hurting the brand name

IHOP food/service

I am speaking of the IHOP at Medicine Hat Mall in
Medicine Hat Alberta, Canada. I could not find a Canadian
site for IHOP and no way to contact the local store except
by telephone, which I tried and was left more frustrated
than before I called. I was contacted and told that I won a
$50 gift certificate by having my name drawn from the
promotion that IHOP was running to introduce their
burgers. My wife and I went in today during lunch and
much to my surprise they acted as if I had asked for
something from them but finally agreed that I did win the
contest after searching for the entry. Our server kept
smiling and saying she understood us but if so then she
chose to ignore us never bothering to check on anything
or even coming back to the table, because if she had she
should have been curious as to why most of the food was
not eaten. I would have explained to her that it was cold
undercooked and ice crystals in what was supposed to be
hash browns. I would have refused to pay for it and if
anyone had bothered to ask I would have been happy to
explain it to them. I did call the IHOP in Medicine Hat
tonight and after speaking with a gentleman who identified
himself as the manager I was told it wasn't his shift or one
of his servers but he would pass the word along...have a
good day! Really...I thought the whole idea of having a
contest was to generate loyal customers etc. Apparently
not! I will be happy to discuss this with anyone who
wishes to contact me. Perhaps they should take a lesson
from the Montana's Restaurant next door that went under
because of bad management. I will await your reply before
updating my Google reviews for my many readers...

IHOP safety

I was in IHOP in Newark New Jersey at 109 Bergen street when I heard employees arguing. I heard the male Robert calling the female [censored]es and he threatened to have someone beat her up. I heard the lady, a dark skin woman tell the man that he was overreacting and all she wanted was for him to remove his phone from the counter. I was confused because a little while later the woman left but I never saw the man Robert leave... how was that fair? That man threatened her... I felt upset as a woman. I felt that if this is the sexiest, disrespectful franchise then I absolutely do not support this. I left my meal and left the restaurant concerned about the woman.

IHOP restaurant atmosphere

My husband and I went to IHOP this morning July 28th 2018 it was 86 degrees outside felt like 86 degrees inside the air conditioner was not on the food was hot the coffee was hot and the customers were hot. We asked a waiter why was it so hot in there he said he was talk to his manager we felt a little bit of air but it disappeared as fast as it came on it was too hot to sit inside of a building eating your breakfast and sweating. We also heard other customers complaining about the heat. Well we realize that there was air conditioner in the building it just was not being utilize my husband and I usually go somewhere else for breakfast but chose to go to IHOP because they had a specialty that we wanted to have for breakfast we paid more then we usually pay and we feel as though we got less it was very difficult to eat while sweating sitting inside.

IHOP the whole experience

We were on vacation in Gulfport Mississippi July 8, 2018. When we arrived at he Ihop on highway 49, they told us a 15 minute wait, which is fine, (We had a party of 5) but then they completely skipped us and sat other parties of 5 after us. When I asked, the manager said oh its all my fault I forgot about you. Really? We were the only ones left in the lobby! Finally seated us after an hour. Sat is next to the kitchen and the next thing you know a couple servers started a very loud verbal fight. One of them was our server. Finally she came to take our order. Acted like she didn't have any idea what she was doing. Brought our food one plate at a time, no silverware, first plate was completely done before any of us had our food brought. She never came back to check or refill coffee. I look up and she's outside? Never brought our bill. And to be honest we could have just walked out and no one would have noticed. Finally manager came and asked us how many in our party? Really? I told him we had already eaten and he asked me for our bill. Said don't have one, haven't seen our server since she brought our food one plate at a time. He was like well where did she go? I said I seen her outside. No one could find her. Funny part was he new exactly where we were seated. Brought up our bill and said it will be this much. I asked him even after the complaints you are charging me full price? He said I will take 10% off. Really? Then had the nerve to ask me about a tip! No tip. The server showed up about the time I said no tip and gave me the meanest look. I have been in the restaurant business for 30 years and believe me if I had ran my place the way this manager ran this one - I would have been out of a job asap. I mentioned that there needs to be a training with his employees and he said - yeah what ever - Really! He said he has been there for 3 months. Told him how horrible the service was and the fight behind the line. All he said was "yes". So I guess that he really could have cared less. My suggestion to you as corporate is to send a secret customer into this place. If I would have thought about it I would have told him that I was a corporate person just to see his reaction. I will never go to IHop again and will definitely discourage everyone I know to do the same.

IHOP food and customer service

We stopped at the IHOP restaurant in Norfolk Nebraska about 7 an today on our way home from indiana the employee who took my order was extremely rude then about 20 minutes later they bring out ove cold pancakes for all three kids and burnt hashbrowns for me I tried to tell them and was completely blown off never expected such disrespect we love ihop extremely disappointed

IHOP restaurant management and cleanliness

My name is Philip Singletary. My wife Kayla recently worked for IHOP in Valdosta Ga. The manager, Scott treated his staff like garbage I witnessed several occasions where he was yelling at staff in front of customers, and there was several times he yelled at my wife using profanity and being extremely unprofessional. Also while my wife worked there she noticed not only bugs in the food but also bugs or cockroaches crawling throughout the restaurant. They were preparing pancake batter on the floor. Most nights the was no manager after 6pm until 4am. Servers were forced to cook because there were no cooks on night shift. Scott was also making servers claim more tips than what they were making. At the time we didn't bring it up for fear that my wife would be fired but now that she no longer works there we feel it is very important that this stuff be known and looked into. Thank you for your time.

IHOP service

On 7-22-18 at 9:35 am we were seated at IHOP located at 9700 State route 14 Streetsboro Ohio 44241. Our server addressed us and took our drink orders. We were a party of 3. The restaurant was busy, but still many open tables. He took over 20 minutes to bring us 2 waters and a coffee. We asked to order since we were waiting awhile and he said "oh I have to go get something and then I will take your order." Order was finally placed a few minutes before 10 am. By 10:40 am we were wondering where our food was because people seated after us with a different server were eating and almost done. I asked for the manager and explained my concern. She seemed very frazzled and just said "oh ok" At this point we decided to leave. As we are getting up the server comes over to state the kitchen is behind. I again addressed the manager and said that people seated well after us were eating so it doesn't appear it was a kitchen issue. She offered no apologies and continued to act frazzled. I said this is an issue with your staff and now you're losing business. Her response "I'm looking into it" As we were leaving we walked out with a party of 3 that was seated at the same time we were just in different sections and they had already eaten and were leaving. Poor customer service and the manager didn't seem to care one bit.

IHOP air conditioner not working in restaurant and waiting 45 minutes to an hour for food.

Air conditioner was not working in restaurant. We were sweating while waiting for our food. The wait was 45 minutes to an hour long waiting for food. By the way, we were the only customers in the restaurant. After waiting, waitress then tells me they were out of crepes. I had to get stuck eating pancakes. Also, 2 of our party ordered hamburgers which came out cold. We complained to manager, but she would not give us a discount. Very unpleasant dinner, and we went there to celebrate my daughter's birthday.
