IHOP customer service, missing food and expired food

Today we order two different food to be delivered and one of the order was missing . As usual this is not the first time IHOP in North Plainfield New Jersey have messed up our orders. However today I decided to file complaint because like I said this is not a first second or third time. What got me upset today was the manager my daughter spoke to on the phone had a very nasty attitude while talking to her. My daughter tried to explain to her that we did in fact placed two different orders because you guys have already taken the money out of both accounts. When I got on the phone with the manager trying to explain to her that we was billed for two separate orders the manager rudely hung up on me. This is very very disrespectful unbelievable and not what you call a customer service. They usually make small errors on all our orders and we usually don't dont bother and let it go. Today they forgot a whole order, on top of that the manager was unprofessional and rude!

IHOP guest services, quality of food

I went to this ihop at about 3:30 in the morning was very tired had been camping and couldn't sleep so we left and came to ihop service was awful asked for a water with my coffee did not receive it I thought I meal came with toast instead I accidentally ordered something got had French toast and then I ordered a side of pancakes also when I asked about what I ordered all she said was that is what you ordered and walked away then I asked her for ketchup and she never brought it I asked after specifically for extra crispy bacon I said there is no such thing as burning my bacon I want it extra extra extra crispy she brought the bacon and it looked like it wasn't even fully cooked so in other waitress came over and said that the cook could not cook it anymore and she was only one that knew how to do it they brought the bacon back 1/2 of it was black the other half was white like it was not All the way cooked There was only 2 other tables there when I got there they were not busy they were all standing around being very loud letting every guest in the place here what they were talking about to of the employees were in prison work release that is fine but gas should not hear your conversations like that expression I when they're not getting good service and they're not being attended to I had went there 2 days prior and got the same kind of service I had to ask for them to take my food off of the bill because by this point I was extremely frustrated I did not touch any of my food they took some of it it off did not apologize for anything and I still had a $23 bill I do not recommend this place Poor management, poor customer service, poor food This was hands down the worst of the worst food industries that I have visited #SMH! I would truly 100% rather go eat Roman nuddles at home then eat here I'm definitely not knockin on Roman nuddles but when your hungry for breakfast you dont want roman nuddles UGH!

IHOP no cooks on sight

I called the Veterans Blvd Metairie, LA location to place an order to go. I was put on hold two times and then was accidentally hung up on. When I called back the employee that answered the phone said she was unable to take any orders to go because no cooks were on sight from 5pm to 6pm. It's a Friday afternoon and I was trying to order dinner for my kids. I thought this was supposed to be a 24 hour establishment. I just can't believe they admitted to me there were no cooks on sight. I was asked to call back in an hour. I took my business else where

IHOP unprofessional management and staff re. gift cards and cash payments

This is my third (3rd) visit to this establishment, I've made every attempt to make excuses for this group of misfits to be successful. Yesterday, the female manager with the gold hair (she never introduced herself) acted as if I got on her last nerve attempting to pay my tab with an IHop Gift card and cash. The manager, nor the staff does not have the knowledge to charge the gift card and use the cash for the balance of the transaction. The second manager a black male (who was on his cell phone during the 45 minutes to pay the tab) never got off the phone to lend assistance. Neither the male or female manager came to the table to apologize for the delay, or explain the circumstances for the delay. The staff seems to be lost when it comes to providing the level of service we receive at the other IHop locations such as Owings Mils, MD. On previous dining nightmares, we received cold food, dirty silverware and dishes, poor service after and extended wait for a table. This is a new establishment which is why I've tried to be patient with the above. The manager with the gold hair is very unprofessional, nasty and needs diversity training, as well as management training. I witnessed her discriminate against a potential hire of a male Latino candidate while I we were waiting for our server to come to the table for our initial encounter of the day. Again, the silverware was dirty and we waited an extended period before making contact with the staff. I want to be a solution to these problems. Please give me a call at [protected] at anytime. I live around the corner from the establishment and want this IHop to be successful. I do not want to drive to Owings Mills, MD when I want to enjoy my chesseburger omlette. Thanks in advance. IHOP mega monster double cheeseburger

I ordered this burger late nite to go and there was nobody else in the restaurant at that hour. When i bit into it it was completely pink on the inside. Totally rare in color and was oozing so much blood that my bottom bun was soggy . It was as if they put the burger on the grill for two minutes and then sent it out. I didnt even eat it since it smelled like raw meat and was a total waste of 15$ I ask to be compensated for my meal please.

IHOP false advertising of hours open!

The new I HOP opened on 1963 W Valencia Rd, Tucson, Az [protected].
Have gone there on several occasions as the sign states open 24 HOURs and they are CLOSED! Even the freeway sign states its 24 hours. Why then is this place running on a different time clock? My husband leaves for work at 2am and has driven by and the place is always closed. If your not going to be 24 HOURs change your dang sign in front of establishment and on freeway exit. To many people are going there only to find it not open!

IHOP Sirloin Steak and Eggs

On April 28th 2018 @ approximately 8:15 p.m. my Grandchildren and I entered the IHOP restaurant # 2108. We were pleasantly greeted by one of the servers and taken to our table. Two of the servers we have had serve us before came to the table to say hello and chat for a brief minute or two. Our server came out and took our orders and all was well. Our server stated his apology for the delay because of the large table, and all was still fine and ok (by my standards). The orders came out in a medium long length of time as there were a couple of student athletic teams that had come in to, and one was still in the restaurant requiring a little extra service. the children began to eat their dinners (their choices were from the breakfast menu as was my order). Upon examining my plate of food I noticed that the eggs I had ordered, over easy, were not soft set but instead the egg whites were still clear and under cooked. I called the server order to point this out to him. He was apologetic and asked how I had ordered the eggs, I replied over easy, he asked if he could get me a replacement for the under cooked eggs to which I replied no that my appetite was pretty well gone because of the time it took to get the order, the fact that the eggs were not served correctly and also because of the extra time it would take to get replacement eggs prepared and brought to me. The server asked if i would like to speak to the manager about the situation, I said yes that I would like to talk with him. The manager came to our table promptly enough I asked him to look at the eggs on the plate and pointed out the clear, uncooked egg whites. He then proceeded to try to tell me that on the menu was the definition of what over easy was and further added that over easy egg whites are served "soft set". I then said this was not the correct meaning of soft set and he wanted to continue arguing the point. I stopped him from further discussion by saying that ... you want to continue to argue this with me... and then i handed him the plate and asked that he leave the table and I added that the customer is always right. He did as I asked and took the plate away and went away, though I could tell that he was not pleased that I would not accept his excuse for the condition of the eggs. The server came back to our table and was attentive, apologetic and tried his best to make up for the demeanor of his manager. The manager did not even offer to discount some of the bill to make up for the unsatisfactory food. I do not feel that I should have been charged full price for under cooked eggs, having my appetite dampened, having a young manager with an inappropriate attitude further ruin my appetite and generally being a boorish young pup. It will be some while before I go back in to this IHOP, and there is only one in my town and not many other places to dine. I will end by saying that the wait staff was excellent and did their best, but their manager let them down by failing miserably to follow the oldest of adages in the business, that being the customer is always right. Thank you for your attention in this matter.

IHOP current management

I am a current employee and I am extremely offended by the way management is caring for this location. I have personally worked my butt off to try and move up in the company from my current position. Instead I have been overlooked twice with almost 6 years management experience. It is becoming a family that is running the location. You have a mom as a manager, her son as a cook, and her daughter is now the other manager. I am not looking to lose my job but I don't believe it is very ethical. Not one person was interviewed for the position from inside the location. Many employees are upset about this but fear losing their jobs so they won't say anything. I just want a fair chance at moving up in the company and now I feel like I have no chance of moving up. It's definitely lowered my morale about even going to work. I love my job and have gone in everytime I am called. I want my job respect me and my qualifications that I can bring in.

IHOP guest service, employee profession, manager attention, manager not available

I walked in me my husband and my 1year son who was striving, we got a table ASAP when we walked in, but than we had to wait forever for a sever and than the sever we're on the floor yelling and talking about not taking anymore tables as they were talking about my family, asked someone could I get some sever and they said I'll get the manager. A other man walked in alone and got helped ASAP by the man who set us. It's like we were just over looked and not important. The place was empty I have pictures to prove, the manager never showed, and the severs Continued to fight over not taking my family's order. its was so rude and mood changing my we packed up my 1year son and left. Since the manager never came out I called to the store speak to the manager on duty, but do remember the place had only 5 tables at the max and from the looks of it they had been heppled.

I had to call twice which I also have pictures of my phone calls made. The second I they answered I asked for a manager again and they said he was busy at the time he couldn't speak with. At this point in frustrated and angry by the complete unprofessional ability of the whole establishment. They asked for my number and name to call me back, but I could tell my issue was not important to them
I have been going to IHOP for years I've never been treated like that I live off of 290 that's the only I had that I will eat it it is ridiculous and despicable for somebody to be treated like that when I'm coming into your establishment to spend my hard earned money it was ridiculous and I would have to pack up my one year-old son and go to a whole Nother place to eat after we already settled there the staff was horrible the manager never show the table that we said I was dirty and I couldn't get anybody to get in get us a drink thank you for listening hopefully we can figure out a solution to this because from the looks of it I probably will never go back to another IHOP establishment. I work in the industry and I would never let any of my employees anybody treat anybody like that I came here to spend money I came here to have a good time with my family and they ruined all of that profession ability was -100 And like I said I have pictures of the inside of the Stabley Schomann showing that they were not busy and I also have screenshots of me calling why they told me that I wasn't able to speak to a manager at the time thank you for your time and listening. IHOP services

Walked in started to seat ourselves then a boy with pants half way down with boxer shorts sticking out and a backwards cap sat us (unprofessional appearance) placed menus on table and proceeded to a back table and sat down. My friend and I were not approached by anyone I actually called while I was at table and the thug type host that put menu on table didn't bother even answering phone we waited finally a server came 20 minutes later took our order still no coffee we were so disgusted with the atmosphere and lack of service we left the ihop wasn't even busy these kids working were not interested in serving anyone and that I will never forget I will call manager in the morning as they should be aware of the bad mark against this particular restaurant at that time at night arrived approximately 11:20 pm.

IHOP horrible service, unprofessional staff, extreme wait time

I walked into your Lynchburg VA, location at 833pm. I asked your black shirt manager (chin length black hair, Caucasian woman) if they were open. She did not answer me. In fact, ignored my presence, while an extremely shirt Caucasian employee with red hair to her shoulders, in a red shirt, sarcastically said "I think so" as the two were apparently talking about some other issue they were coming to the register about. The manager heard her employee, as did i, and didn't bother to address it. She did say "how can I help you " and seated my daughter and I after finishing whatever she was doing at the front register (looked like clocking in). I wasted about 10 minutes for my waitress to come, and had to witness a rather uncomfortable discussion, on the sales floor, a booth away from all of us, (there were 5 tabkes, FIVE, with guests, that's it), while they discussed who was covering what table. It was VERY clear, that no-one except a delightful darker skinned woman with beautiful long twist braids in her hair (red shirt) waitress, was prepared to work this evening. My server was a rather tall Caucasian college student with very long straight brown hair. I have no idea what her name was because she never told me. However, she made quite a show on the sales floor about not having her order book, and even went back into the kitchen yelling to the manager about how she didn't have one. I literally couldn't believe my ears. She finally came to take our order. (The waitress at the other table took our drink order so at least we got that). I ordered a funny faced pancake for my 5 year old and the sirloin tips dinner, extra onion and mushrooms. She put my order in. And came back about 15 minutes later to tell me they don't have mushrooms. Is that ok. Well, no it's not. So she leaves and gets me a menu, and then leaves me to choose something else. And then goes back to the kitchen and yells about how "the omelette didn't care by the sirloin tips changed her mind". Excuse me? And the managers response was, "that's fine, if she doesn't want the tips then i have enough mushrooms for the omlette, and just make sure the tips go out tonight, that's really important the tips have to go out tonight ". Which makes me believe the tips were going out of expiration, and THANK GOD, they didnt serve them to me. Please also explain to me why I even heard ANY of this! How UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE! They made me feel like I was about to get my food spit on, when it wasn't even my fault! I wasn't in anyway responsible for this girl not knowing they were out of mushrooms, or for the store to be out of mushrooms for that matter. It's not MY fault the day manager didn't tell the night manager, and, how did I know that? Because they AGAIN had a very loud conversation the whole restaurant could hear about that after they called the guy to find. Out. "Oh yeah, he knew they were out of mushrooms he just forgot to tell me" is what the girl said. I have never been so uncomfortable in a restaurant before. It literally took them 30 minutes to even get my order in. It was a bacon cheeseburger with onion rings and a kids eat free funny face pancake. Please tell me why it took another 35 minutes to get the food, eat, and then check out? I had to ask another waitress for a box. And when i got the check, which the girl already had printed in her pocket, it was 33.00. Why? Bc the waitress had no idea it was kids eat free, and literally said "well who told you that" all accusatory like i was trying to steal a 6.00 pancake that was overcooked and my kid wouldn't hardly eat. Oh, and she conveniently didn't take off the steak tips I didn't eat, and said some rubbish about "it didn't come off ". No, you have to manually tell the computer to take the item off. The computer doesn't know that. Anyway. While i was going up to pay, this waitress followed me up there, and asked for my ticket back, i handed it to her. Then, she looks around expectantly at the shorter waitress from before, to finish flirting with her boyfriend (literally, i dont want to watch your boyfriend try to bump into you on the sales floor while you dance around him. I'm tired, i want to go home) and come up yo say something about some other customer. WHY.DID.I.JUST.STAND.HERE.FOR.5.MINUTES.SO.YOU.COULD.GOSSIP.ABOUT.ANOTHER.CUSTOMER.IN.MY.FACE! I thought you needed access to the computer/register. No, she didn't bc she finally tells me how much i owe her, we get that straightened out, it still seems high at 17.00, and then when I give her my 20, she runs to a register in the back...i literally walked out. I couldn't take it anymore. I'm a school bus driver. My day starts at 430am. I leave my house at 520am. I was working from 6am until 815pm. Bed time, is 9pm. I literally could have gone to McDonald's, gotten my kid the pancake she wanted for dinner and a bacon cheeseburger, spent no more then 10.00 and been home by 9pm. I severely regret coming to your store tonight. That short waitress? She was posted up with the boyfriend and five of his buddies, camped out on the bench by the kitchen in the area they wouldn't let any of the customers in. The manager did absolutely nothing to address any of these issues. The short girl wasnt even tending tables. I don't know how many complaints you get about this syore, but it has an AWFUL reputation for how slow it is. I can actually understand it when there are even half the 100 tables full. But 5? Really? An HOUR for a bacon cheese burger, onion rings, and a funny faced pancake? You NEED to send an entire team from Corporate to camp out at this store for 6 months and get it back on track. I have no idea how long they stayed last time, but it wasn't enough. This was SUCH crappy service that you literally just lost a lifetime customer over it. I'm so sorry, but, everything that happened tonight at that store just shows how little you all care, and how poorly you feel about paying customers. I work VERY hard for my money. I'm a single mom and i drive a school bus with 200 kids transported every day. I really felt disrespected and insulted at your establishment tonight. IHOP, in nj, where i grew up, is where i learned what a sunny side up egg was, and how delicious they were. The staff would put my eggs on my pancake with the bacon for a mouth. LIFELONG CUSTOMER. no more.

IHOP service/ food quality

visited this restaurant on 4/19/18 and recieved horrible service by a waitress who when we walked in complained about her problems at home being more inportant than serving customers, waitress was constantly adjusting her clothes and seemed to be sick with a cold sniffling and wiping her nose and mouth with the collar of her shirt, only asked us ONCE how everything was, did not refill our drinks, NOR ask if we wanted a refill, did NOT ask if we wanted a take away drink after we finished our meal, our meals came out very sloppy and clearly quality product was not on the two cooks priority list seeing as customers eat with their eyes plates were sloppy food was not hot pancakes were not hot food had CLEARLY been sitting customers who came in after us were served their meals by more attentive waitresses our waitress brought our food to the table and slammed the plates on to the table which shows poor customer service/training when it came time to pay the waitress just walked to our table, fingered through reciepts and dropped ours onto the table did not give us a pen or anything did not thank us nor welcome us back this is why places such as this lose customers the manager was dressed in regular clothes as she had a waitress help her remove a BROKEN table from the dining area in front of customers when this should have been done BEFORE customers came in or while the restaurant was not as busy upon checkout and paying for our meal I had to ASK for a pen and needless to say she did not recieve a tip I will not tip poor service and careless employees not trying to be difficult but things like this is what causes businesses to fold dramatically if the service is poor and thefood is poor quality then why waste time I will NOT eat at this establishment again waitresses name was Brittnee

IHOP overall experience at ihop

My Son (7) and I have been eating at this location for over 3 years and have had a few not so good experiences, but more good than bad or else I would not keep coming back. Tonight's experience took the cake! We arrived at he restaurant tonight around 4:50pm. There was only one table occupied in the entire restaurant. We were seated across from them in a both. Our waiter (Jonnathan) came a few minutes later and took our order. My soon ordered the Jr. Cupcake pancake special and I ordered a Sweet tea and water both with lemons. (I did not eat this trip) Minutes later a family of three entered and was seated directly behind us in a both. They were not using any abusive language, but were kind a loud due to the restaurant being empty. So when our waiter returned I asked if My Son and I could be seated in another area. My wish was granted, but not before I tasted my tea and it was unsweetened. So we sat another 10 minutes to receive my replacement tea and My Son's Jr. It took at least 20 minutes to receive the order. When the order arrived my son did not like the cupcake pancate so minutes later I asked our waiter if he could replace it with a plain pancake with strawberries on it. Waiter agreed and left the table. My son started eating his hash browns and bacon while waiting on new pancake. 5 minutes later the manager walked by (I knew him) we spoke and began to carry a conversation. About 5 minutes into our conversation, my waiter came back over to check on us and I asked about the replacement pancake and he looked confused. Him and the manager spoke a few words and walked away. My Son was now finished the hashbrown and bacon and was asking me what was taking so long. I caught the attention on the manager again and he told me to hold on. He approached the waiter and about 10 or 15 minutes later the waiter came out with the pancake and my Son asked if he could take it home. I informed both the manager and waiter that we were taking it to go. I then asked for my check. I took out a $20 bill and when the check came I gave the money to the my waiter. He left and what should have taken two minutes to complete turned into another 10 to 20 minutes. Apparently my waiter didn't have change for a $20 bill. I watched him walk around the restaurant asking his co-workers if they had change. I then saw him waiting on other table while still in possession of my money. After about 10 minutes of waiting I got up and looked for the manager. I approached the manager and he apologized and said he had given my waiter change over 10 minutes prior to me approaching him. He then walked up to my waiter and questioned him. The manager then informed me that he was taking 20% off my check. The waiter then came to my table gave me my change and walked away. I told both individuals that my experience would end up as a bad survey. I then noticed that I didn't have a receipt to take the survey so I asked for one. My waiter went back over to the register and reached in to the trash and handed me a crumbled up receipt as if it came out the trash. I took the receipt only because I wanted to complete a survey. Then I noticed it wasn't the survey receipt it was the restaurant's receipt. So again, most of my time, at least 30 minutes were spent just sitting and waiting. It became such an issue that my Son started complaining. I was so upset, I didn't even leave a tip and I take great pride in tipping. I was told the waiter was new, but that didn't make me feel any better.

IHOP food

Something strange happened to me today. I was with my wife and she was hungry from fasting all day yesterday for a procedure this morning at the hospital that we just left. So naturally it's her day and she wanted "ihop". I ate earlier, so I was not to hungry. So I made the mistake of ordering your "biscuits and gravy" what a mistake it was. It sure is a good thing that this was not the first time I visited "ihop". for it would have been my last. I have been coming to "ihop" since I was 5 years old when my Dad said that we are going to a new place that opened. Do you think an impression was made on that 5 year old. Those great pancakes and syrup, still a very fresh memory of family and great food. That little A frame. Do you remember? That was 60 years ago. HOW? and I mean HOW? can a restaurant that specializes in breakfast screw up a popular dish as "biscuits and gravy" so utterly bad. I am a creature of habit and normally order an omelet with all the fix'ins. I will be back for one at a later date. BUT! Someone in your organization should be extremely embarrassed for this disaster. How did this happen? The worst biscuit if it was a biscuit I ever had. The gravy was awful. I am restraining myself to how bad this experience was. How does a fast food establishment as Carl's Jr. do "biscuits and gravy" better than "ihop"? Carl's Jr. Come on. ihop should be one of the best around provoking you to come back for more. This is the first time I have ever done something like this. That's how disappointed with "ihop" I am. Like all corporation's I am sure this will fall on deaf ears. 60 years ago someone I am sure did care. Why? Because it worked, not gimmicks.

IHOP breakfast at the newly opened ihop at 13650 e. colfax, aurora, co. 80011

My husband and I tried your newly opened restaurant today and our experience was miserable to say the least. 1) The waitress took our order without writing anything down and when the order was delivered, both my husband's and my breakfast were wrong. 2) My food was cold---not Luke warm but cold. Cold French Toast is pretty nasty as are two cold fried eggs, Oh, and I ordered poached eggs! My husband ordered pancakes and received unbuttoned toast. Additionally, we had to wait 45 minutes before we were presented with these items. Needless to say, intend to never set foot in that IHOP again and will spread the word to our neighbors. Oh, all this happened on 4/24/18 at 11 am. I think a refund is fair compensation but we also would be happy with a gift/discount card.

IHOP there are no vegan meal items on your menu

Except small side salad, very small fruit bowl, and french fries, you have NOTHING that I can eat. Please add vegan/plant based items to your menu. Most restaurants have oatmeal that is served vegan, but you serve yours with cow's milk. Your salad dressings have milk, cheese, or egg. The restaurant in Roseville, CA has no vegan salad dressings. Please add some vegan burgers (make sure you are offering vegan buns), you could make a grilled/roasted veggie sandwich with good stuff like avocado, sprouts, etc, You could offer a nice big veggie salad with beans and nuts for protein, etc. You can even make vegan pancakes and waffles. I make them for myself often on weekends.
Please add several vegan/plant based meal choices to your menu.

IHOP overcharge at vero beach florida restaurant on state road 60

The manager of the IHOP restaurant's in question called me today and offered his sincere apologies for what transpired during me and my families recent dine in visit but made no offer to compensate me for our unplesant experience or compensation for being overcharged for my wifes meal. All he said was that he would discuss it with his staff to try and make sure that it does not occur again. And also said that if something like this does happen again on a future visit to ask to speak to him or one of the other managers. Very disappointed in his proposed resolution and his not offering a reimbursement for the overcharge of my wifes meal. If this a hint to the direction IHOP is going with regards to their service and treatment of their customers believe me I will not be going back to this restaurant or any other IHOP restaurant and nor will I be recommending them to members of my family and friends. I don't need this kind of aggravation at this point in my life and there are plenty of other restaurants out there to visit and dine at. Again very disappointed in IHOP and their proposed resolution.

IHOP manager was very rude/unprofessional

Wow, so I called in after trying to order online which wasn't successful. I talked to Heidi and she from the beggining was extremely rude to me and I ordered ONE raspberry crepe, and side of hash browns. Simple right? Obviously not, she tried charging me $11 and something so I asked why when online it said it was $5.48. She admitted to making the mistake and than told me it was going to be $7.10 and I asked why again (very kindly mind you) and she got real snide with me telling me that's what it was. So my mom went in to pick it up in which my mom personally knows this Heidi. Heidi came up with 3 ppl as "body guards" telling my mom all pissed off "why did you say you were Nikki I couldn't believe you would talk to me like that" she said "Nikki was rude so why was she so rude" than she said "well I don't appreciate how rude she was" and walked off really pissed of with the 3 ppl she came up to my mom with. For one I was not rude and my mom felt threatened by her attitude and having 3 ppl ready to fight when I would of walked into the business. Very unwelcoming and extremely unprofessional. I'm beyond myself in how such a small phone call was made into something that extreme. Unbelievable

Not to mention the food I ordered is for my 2 year old son and I'm afraid to give it to him to eat, although he begged me to eat at his favorite place. Because I'm seriously afraid they did something horrible to his food. I should not be this concerned to feedback my child food over something so CHILDISH! I will be taking further action about this incident to the higher ups as well.

Not to mention that my two year old so cried when i refused to let him eat the food because i was afraid. I got angry and hit him. My mom who reported me when i did this before got custody of him took him home so i could not even enjoy a visit with him thanks to Heidi, and my mom said i was rude which I was not. My mom told me that I am not allowed to hit my son and she will take him home if i do.

IHOP ihop 55+ menu policy

When I went to IHOP last night, I looked over the menu and wanted to order the grilled chicken dinner. However, the only place I could find it was in the 55+ section. I then asked the waitress about it and she said I couldn't get it because I'm not 55 (I'm 18). I wanted to make a formal complaint because I find it unreasonable and discriminatory against the younger generation to refuse to give the customer what they want simply because of age especially when it is readily available to prepare in the kitchen. I realize that it may be a matter of cost and portion size specially made to meet the needs of the elderly. However, I feel that it should also be available to all ages in an increased portion size and elevated price in a separate part of the menu.

I remain a huge fan of IHOP despite this policy, however, I would definitely appreciate it if this issue could be addressed and hopefully changed so that all ages may be given their desired meal.

IHOP food

I just want to start off with saying that my complaint isn't going directly towards the ihop in Manassas location but to ALL IHOP BRANCHES. I grew up in IHOP when I was a teenagers with my friends and my family……we would always go out to eat on Saturday nights after church service because you guys were the only restaurant open after 11:00pm. When you changed your portion amount and increase your prices a couple of years ago we were very disappointed. EVEN the Susages & bacon looked so much thinner; kids menu got cut down as well. I could not believe the drink for the kids were not included in there meal. All restaurants in the woodbridge, Virginia offer kids drink for free. I decided to give you guys a try again and went this Saturday with my sisters and the kids. It was a total of 3 adults and 8 kids. When the food came out the adult meals came out like kid portions and the kids portions came out as if it was for toddlers that were eating. Kids chicken tender were two tiny little pieces of chicken and i could count like a total of 10 fries. We were all still hungry and when we left and all the kids were crying that they were still hungry. EVEN MACDONALDS offers more food than Ihop. You guys should be ashamed of yourself to be offering these small portions when people are paying high prices. When we left we promise our self we would never go back to ihop very DISPOINTED and I know plenty of people in this area that feel the same way.
