IHOP water tasted weird in glass

I like IHOP greatly, so I must write this, and I must say I didn't get too offended by it, for the food was superior. I ordered orange juice and water. The water had a foul taste in my mouth. It was in fact, the worst tasting water I have ever drank. Due to the delicious food and orange juice, it has surpassed the lack of quality water, enough to not complain about it. Anyhow, keep on serving water like that, and you will lose my business in the future and maybe many other customers. Please take this issue seriously.

IHOP jessi/manager

I recieved rude service from a so called, "Manager" at the IHOP location in Downey. My food had came out too greasy for my liking. I then asked my waiter if I can either get either a refund or a something different. My waiter said, "Yes, we'll bring it out to you." After a bit I decided that I was fine without it and wanted a refund instead. So I cancelled it. The manager then comes up to me (Jessi, Yessi, Jessica not sure) and says, "Oh well we had to throw that away because you cancelled it...etc." Unprofessional. Rude. Who says that? I have the right to cancel an order, as a paying customer. No one should tell me otherwise. I hope something is done about how she handles situations. Very rude.

IHOP steak tips

I ordered the steak tips with no mushrooms bc I am highly allergic to mushrooms. Left the restaurant (only checked my steak to see if it was well done) and came home. I begin eating my food, I salted my hash browns and onions. Then I turned over my hash browns to add more salt on the other side and there was a mushroom. I immediately stopped eating and call the restaurant. I asked for a manager and when he got on the phone, I explained what I found. He proceeds to tell me that he looked at the camera and saw that I checked my food. I said sir the only thing I checked was the steak to make sure it was well done. I stated that I did not move my hash browns nor onions while I was there. He became rude and disrespectful saying that he is looking at the camera. I continuously stated that I did not check anything other than the steak. I advised him that I was going urgent care bc this is life threatening to me. He acted as if he didn't care and stated that he'll see if someone can call me. I told him that I would be contacting corporate and the better business bureau regarding this matter. I also stated, who moves hash browns to look under them...I asked for his name and he said it so fast that I couldn't understand him and he wouldn't repeat it. This is absolutely unacceptable! I also have a video but it wouldn't let me upload it.

IHOP false hours

Well I went to ihop in Clifton Park Ny at 9:45pm and the doors where locked. Now the hours are posted as 7am-12pm.. ITS 9:45pm not even midnight.. I am very disappointed. This would have been my first time to IHOP, I'm starting to rethink about giving Ihop a try now. I even checked the website to double check the hours before driving 45 minutes there, also the website stated that the hours were til 12am.. There will be a lot of rethinking about giving IHOP a try. This is just ridiculous..

IHOP food service/restaurant in general

I usually love eating at this restaurant. When I moved to Oxford, MS I was so excited we had one. HOWEVER, every time I have been, my order is wrong, sloppy, and on two occassions I've had a hair in my drink and on my plate. French toast is ALWAYS burnt and hardly-if ever- has any powdered sugar on top. I specifically ask for my french toast to be on a different plate from my meat, and it's always served on the meat which changes the taste of the toast. I eat here often, but I am almost to the point where I'd rather start going to Huddle House or drive to find a waffle house somewhere.

IHOP manager/unsanitary restaurant

I recently visited IHOP in matteson, il. I did a call in order. I went back home to eat my food and as I'm almost done I found a lil piece of metal in my omelette. So I called considering that it was a mistake. She told me to bring it in and I did with the food, recy, and the foreign object that I food in my omelette. She goes on to tell me that she can give me a credit, but there's nothing else she can do. And that she doesn't think that came from them. Well where did it come from? She had the worst attitude ever. Poor customer service. I had asked for a refund and she said she couldn't do it. I told her that I'm 4 months pregnant and what if I had ate the object. She disregarded my question and confusion be rude to me. I asked if there was someone else I could talk to about the matter and she said she was the only manager there with this smile in her face. She had no sympathy at all like I planted the metal piece in my food. I had always ate there before this situation. I was a loyal paying customer. But I will never return to this location again. And I will be calling corporate. If I digested anything of that metal piece, there will also be a lawsuit.

IHOP portion control on corned beef hash

I visited your store #2062, Elizabeth City, NC 27909 on 10Aug17 @11:09 check out. When my meal was delivered, I immediately called for the manager on duty and was given a stock answer that was so canned I almost laughed in her face. I was a Director of Food Svc for the shelter system and did 1500 meals 3/day. I trained 50 people in 3 shelters to serve these meals with sight portion control. In my shelter we could serve 600 meals in 1 hour employing portion control. I asked if IHOP served 2 or 4 oz sahe uttered "3". I will try to show my meal size and I am certain that Ray Charles can see that this is 2 oz or less. Spoon and knife are there to show portion. On a $8.29 bill it was sliced in half. I am a diabetic and need a balanced meal this was very poor service. To tell me that they served by weight was a joke and a lie if my meal is an example. Rcpt #[protected]. I await your response

IHOP only 1 waffle iron???

I visited your IHOP on Peters Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem North Carolina. I ordered a pecan waffle. the pecans came in a cup on the side, not cooked in the batter. I was told they cannot mix the pecans in the batter and cook it because they only have ONE waffle iron? and so they cannot use that same waffle iron for people who have peanut allergies. you have thousands of IHOP's and you can't afford to go to Walmart and buy another waffle iron for $30? really? it does not taste the same "on the side" as it does cooked in the batter like your picture shows.

IHOP food

I went to the Toms River IHOP that is located on route 37 just off of hopper ave on sunday around 6pm. I ordered a crepe meal while my wife ordered a bacon chicken dinner. We shared a side of loaded bake potato soup. The soup came out cold. When i got home an hour and half later i was feeling ill. My wife and i both started to exhibit symptoms of food poison. More specifically staph arueus contamination of food. I work for a quality control department as a microbiologist and have seen this several times before. The incubation time and symptoms were all consistent. This tends to happen to food when handlers do not wash their hands and food is left cold since staph as a low tolanrance to heat.

IHOP employees

On Monday at 1:17 we had gone to the Sherman IHOP in Texas and as soon as we walked in the door all we heard was Employee saying oh my gosh somebody really just walked in the door are six month old daughter was screaming in the car because it was pouring down rain so we figured we'd get out of the rain and enjoy a nice meal but when we heard that we walked out the door we are not going to be going to this IHOP ever again because of the reaction we got when we tried to go in we thought it was a 24 hour restaurant

IHOP smoked sausage?

i was at the ihop in bolingbrook, ill. and ordered the eggs, hashbrown, smoked sausage and pancakes.everything was fine except for the sausage.it was a hot dog, not sausage by any means! it tasted and smelled like a hot dog plus looked like one too! i couldnt even eat it all because it was not what it was supposed to be.i have had this meal before at the new lenox ihop and it was sausage and it tasted very good. i told my waiter about it and he said they didnt have hot dogs there, i said really because its a hot dog.guess i wont be going back to that ihop anytime soon.girl at register kept saying she was sorry.i am too, because ihop should not be stating on the menu that its sausage if it isnt.very dissapointed, i thought someone would try and give me some kind of discount but all i got was sorry.this happened on sunday, august 30th.mary barnas

IHOP time

7601 s Cicero Chicago Il. It is terrible to stop seating an hour before closing. I understand everyone wants to get off on time but then again no one care about the customers. I come here often and always tend to get attitude from servers and get excuses like "it's still early" or "I just started my shift" which is unfair. My poor service I receive sometimes I believe is related to appear younger than I am and dresses unprofessional (basketball shorts or joggers). In reality everything is the opposite I always tip well I'm a Chicago police officer just trying to eat.

IHOP service

My family and I dine in your establishment all the time. We love your food and the servers are normally friendly. On July 29, 2017 our server Josh I think his name was acted as if we were bothering him when I asked him about my daughters pancakes that he didn't bring and the napkins we asked for. Upon leaving we always pay at the register but I was informed that now you pay your server. I preceded to take the money and ticket back to the table and laid it on the table. After waiting on my daughters to come out the bathroom and watched our server tell the manager that he thinks I didn't pay for my check but he had not yet checked the table. He walked over to the table and then came back and told the manager yes she paid. Not only did it make me feel uncomfortable but my 14 year old daughter felt uncomfortable feeling like he accused us of skipping out on the check. I never complain but this didn't sit well with me and had to report it.

IHOP service/ poor quality of management

My family visited a IHOP in Pensacola Florida on Hwy 29, I recall are servers name being called Kelly I believe and at first all was well and the food was great, but as I sat there and watched what was going on around the place I was very destrubed by what I saw . I asked my wife to please excuse me for a minute and I went to the bathroom while I walked to the bathroom I seen our server arguing with one of her fellow employees as I listened at the honorable language coming from this nice but fake server I evaluated her putting her hands on this girl so I go back to my table and tell my wife and 2 small children to gather there things that we where leaving another server took money as we went to the front to cash out, at this time I didn't ever see are orgaianal server again. So I kind of waited around awhile to see if I seen a manager on duty never seen one so we left as we were leaving I went around the wrong way and ended up in the back where I seen our server standing there in the back area I guess so called smoke area but it diffentley was not cigarette' s she and another gentlemen was smoking I continued to act like I was lost to roll down my window and smell the harsh smell. THIS completely was mind blogging I'm on vacation and I've visited many places in my life but I've never incountered what I seen this night. It was a Friday night and pretty busy for a server to even be outside much less smoking whatever she wants. I'm much disappointed not to mention a retired Army Police officer out of Ft. Sill Oklahoma. Little can I say about this restaurant and can only imagine what other things go on that people don't see. I can reasure you I will never be back as IHOP is suppose to be a family restaurant. And I will be posting this until I get the right people involved. Thank you so much.

IHOP night shift manager

Went to have breakfast at ihop which I knew better then to go to ihop specially in Downtown Los Angeles. Anyhow not only was the manager super high that he is so stoned he cant do his job right let alone professionally, he's what I can tell and hear smsmokin weed in the office, im halfway through eating my meal, he comes slaps the reciept on the table as if he is hurrying me up, in a empty resturant. I asked for him to wait till I am finished, not only did he began to argue, and tell me to get Out, as he also cursed in spanish and assualted me acting and saying he would fight me, he also told a girl waitress to call the police like she did. I left in total embarresment and disbelief. I turn the corner and he makes a hand gesture that is known for the gang MS13 to use. I will Never Enter A Ihop In My Life Ever Again. Iv had other bad expierences at this location before but this is where I draw the line at...

IHOP raspberry white chocolate chip pancakes

I visited the IHOP in Monterey Park at around 11 pm on 7/23/17 and asked if I can order raspberry white chocolate chip pancakes. I knew that the pancakes used to be seasonal but noticed a month ago that it became apart of the menu. I asked the waitress if they still had them on the menu. She looked at her co worker and were debating on what to tell me. They told me they did have them so I order it to go and told there was going to be a wait. I was charged $11. 10 mins later I was given the food and was on my way home. I decided to look at the pancakes and was very disappointed. The pancakes looked like regular pancakes with a few pieces of chocolate chips. I spent my time and money for quality and this was what I received. I went back to ask why I didn't receive the raspberries. Hence raspberries white chocolate chip pancakes. The waitress told me that it was EXTRA for the raspberries. I told her that the pancake name is RASPBERRY WHITE CHOCOLATE CHIP PANCAKES. I've ordered it in multiple locations and they always included them. On the receipt she pulled out from my order it clearly stated the name. She didn't know what to tell me and instead of fixing my order she handed me a small container of raspberries. I am very upset and hope my issue is resolved. Left picture is what it is advertised as and right Is what I received.

IHOP service (hostess/host and servers)

My little girl and I went to the Benton IHOP around 9:30pm on Monday, July 24th and NO ONE ever even acknowledged us. The restaurant was not busy at all, only about 6 tables had customers seated. There was no one at the hostess/host stand and the server that looked at us never spoke to us. He walked over to one of the computers and started talking to two girls. He looked and us again andtnd then turned back toward the computer, still not speaking or acknowleding us. We stood there for about 10 minutes, then out loud I said "this is ridiculous, let's just go somewhere else." At that point, another customer looked at me and said she didn't blame us because she waited 20 minutes before anyone ever came that her table after seating her. This is ABSOLUTELY unacceptable. As someone who worked in customer service for 15 years, there is NO way I would tolerate employees that treat customers that way. This behavior reflects terribly on that particular IHOP as well as the company. This is not the first time such poor service has occurred at this location and if management does not take care of the problem with the unprofessional employees, it will not be the last time.

IHOP management

Employs ruining lives! Take advantage of employees schedule and hard ships, we were having problems crystal started working at I hop and i've heard many stories of management dating and having sex with employees even in office of restrauant which disgusts me and enrages me. Crystal was a weak minded person and we were having troubles she shared with boss at work and they took advantage of us and ruined a lil boys family being selfish and unprofessional! Manager melanie stamper knew we were having troubles and she befriended crystal anderson and took advantage.

IHOP product/service

I had dinner with my son at the Fenton, MO restaurant and it was the worse experience I ever had. Took forever for the food and half of them employees were standing around talking or even yelling as people that the order was up. I came here many times before and food was amazing as my service, but not tonight as waitress was rude too. I told the waitress that my grilled chicken avocado didn't have the avocado and chicken didn't look like it was grilled (grilled looks like lines on the meat as black stripes on the food like BBQ). The bun was greasy and stuff was falling off out of the bun. The avocado was itty bitty pieces in the bun as not on the chicken. I had many of sandwiches like this before and it is always big pieces inside the sandwich or even on the side. The waitress told me, "Hold on!" She comes back and tells me, "Will you ate it!" I told her, "Yeah, I was hungry and had to try it!" I told her will not tip you at all as it isn't worth my time for you or the way you treated me" I will never go back to this place again and it isn't worth my money to get food like that! They didn't even give me half off my food or even give me a new one. My son didn't even have a lot of eggs on his plate and didn't look like a grand slam of lots of food. I want my money back asap or I will contact the news, attorney general, and bbb. I want my $28.94 back now! I want it back on my card bye this week! Elizabeth Lombardo

IHOP service

We decided to give the Weaverville, NC IHOP another shot, because two times before we had to get up and leave because we received no menus or service.

Same thing this morning -- we were no greeted when we came in -- the lady at the desk, without looking at us, said grab a seat anywhere.
After five minutes, with no one coming to bring us menus or acknowledge us, we noticed three other tables where people had menus and had not ordered yet. Needless to say, same old, same old -- we should have known when there were only five cars in the parking lot -- people have other choices, and this IHop either needs new management, or to close its doors so a viable restaurant that is geared towards customer service can take its place.
