My family and I just left the IHOP at 2204 s Atlantic Blvd Daytona Florida. I have never been so inclined to write a review as I am today. Our waitress was kind and attentive the problem was another waitress I believe her tag said Ayanna. She was loud and disruptive to everyone in the restuarant yelling over the wall to the cooks and to her coworkers. On a couple of occasions she was saying how nasty this or that was. Completely unprofessional it ruined our experience and we could nor get out fast enough. It is really bad when your 13 year olds are saying how badly she was behaving.

I lived in Bull Head City Az. the winter of 2014. I went to the IHOP there and Loved their Pancakes. My wife and I went back there for a Mini Vacation from March 12 thru the 16. On March 13 we went to IHOP in BHC, because I told my wife how good the pancakes were. We had the 2+2+2 meal. My wife asked if they had any discounts for Disabled Veterans. The waitress said Nooo, we don't do that anymore. I don't know if it was because my wife asked for a discount or that IHOP restaurant has went bad so fast. We waited 50 minutes for our meal and the Pancakes were the worst I have ever tasted. Also, I could not even eat the over-easy eggs. IHOP, BHC don't bother contacting me back, I will never eat at a IHOP Again.

I was at the Peachtree Industrial location. The service was very horrible. First they brought me some cold hot chocolate. When they brought it back. My hot chocolate was poured into a dirty greasy glass. Once my food came out my pancakes her cold. The server and the Manager nerver addressed or apologize . They were very rude. Also another party received their food before us. My cousin eggs were running.and my other cousin asked for medium rare steak. The waitress put in for well done . It took over 30 min To get our food.

On 3-24-2018, we (4 adults) went to IHOP for dinner as we have in the past. The location was 1540 General Booth Blvd., Virginia Beach, VA 23454. The week prior to this visit two of our friends had asked for separate checks from the waitress, Sierra, and she got an attitude with our friends. When it came time for the checks, Sierra slapped down the check (only one) for four people and it was supposed to be separate, on the table. She said they had to have the checks separated at the register even after it was requested for separate checks.
Well tonight, we asked for separate checks and waitress (Sierra again) said she couldn't do that. We asked for the manager. This waitress seems to have an attitude toward anyone as she was not pleasant, never smiled and even after the manager came and we got a different waitress who did not have a problem with our request. While we were having our dinner, I noticed Sierra and a male waiter standing not too far from us. Apparently, she was telling him about her problem as she was pointing at us, our table was the only one in the area where she was pointing. Moving on and while Sierra was still waiting on other tables, she never made any eye contact with anyone, looked mad as a hornet and appeared to be unhappy about our request.
Our new waitress Reese gave us perfect service, was pleasant and smiled and laughed when appropriate. What is wrong with the first one.
Moving on, to the food, two of us had decent food but two did not. One had the chocolate mousse pancakes which were disgusting in the way they looked and taste was not much better. The mousse inside the pancakes was more like smeared chocolate sauce from a bottle and not much of it between the layers. The second person's food was an omelet but we don't believe the cook ever tasted his own cooking. Again, it was not good.

Between the rudeness of Sierra, her attitude and food, we are very discouraged. We have been going to this IHOP since it opened. Things are certainly different in the restaurant business these days. Apparently, the customer is never right! and the waitress has all the control. Lately over the past few months, this IHOP has had insufficient help or bad help, not so great of a cook and many times service was very, very slow because the managers do not know how to assign enough people to work on an evening. I certainly wouldn't be surprised if this IHOP goes down the drain the way business has dropped off. What a shame. It used to be good.

I wore this letter to our neighborhood IHOP:

I am writing Corporate office after I have written you to explain why. We go to Perkins, Bob Evans, Sunshine Cafe, and many others and are able to substitute fruit for hash browns. Because your establishment will not allow us to do that, we will not be returning. We have been almost daily customers and enjoy your waitresses but if that is what your menu requirements are, we feel we will be going to more accommodating restaurants.
Hopefully corporate will read this and change its attitude. We will miss the girls. It's very unfortunate we have to make this decision.

I ordered the double cheeseburger with a egg on top. My girl ordered the big steak omelette. My friend got the chocolate pancakes and my girlfriend's friend ordered the double blueberry pancakes. The top of my bun was covered and I mean covered in oil or grease I'm not sure what it was. The pancakes were halfway cooked doughy hard and just bad. The side of eggs were cold and looked bad. It was all bad the service was awful. The restaurant itself wasn't packed at all but it took a half an hour for drinks. Also why does an IHOP need police security. The whole thing was just bad. That was my first time and last time going to that IHOP my friends are done with you period, but I loved IHOP as a youth and I just want this place to be better and show what ihop is and stands for. Last weekend I visited the south charleston ihop with my wife and my mother-in-law for breakfast and it was anything but enjoyable. Food was average at best, and the waitress was on point. The managers were a different story. I used to be a General Manager myself at a local reataurant. As far as that goes, I'm fully aware that no "professional" should talk to their staff the way they were. Since we were so close to the kitchen, we could hear the managers demeaning, hassling, and downgrading the wait staff, and the front workers at the desk. Also, whats the meeting about that took our drinks 15 minutes to get to our table? Management making a whole restauarant look bad. Needless to say we will not be returning.

Living locally, I have visited the Starke location 3x in the last 12 months. The last visit was the worst-waiting at reception for 15 to be served, being seated and watching patrons who entered and were seated after my family being served and prompting our server to even take our order and had forgotten drinks. Basic attention to details which are consistently missed here.

I have frequented other locations without the problems that are consistent with the Starke location.

To be passed 3x by a waitress and not being served because we were not in her section is unacceptable.

I was in ihop the other night, the one off maxtown rd, my food had hair in it, and our server, Brianna was her name, was not very pleasant to say the least. I was highly upset w the serve my family & I received. I shouldn't have to go out to eat and have the server be rude, and the food be nasty and cold. I won't be back. And I will also be taking this to corporate as well.

We ordered breakfast from this ihop location... Convenient to our job location on rt 22... Got delivery.. Everything showed up.. I got the coffee and it to me appeared to have cooking grease in it. I've taken pictures. Sent them in this complaint. I only noticed it because when I started drinking it, it didn't taste right. So I was gonna stir it up with straws you gave us and thats when I saw what looked like grease oil... Whatever it was separating from the coffee.. Totally didn't look right. And when you took tne straw out of the cup every thing solidified like it was lard... It was gross. We called ihop back explained to the girl on the phone she said thats the french vanilla they use... Pfff... She said they could send over another coffee... After I said okay well nothing in it this time... Just blk... And through out the rest of my 10 hr work day... Nobody ever came back. Needless to say its coffee.. I get it, but the whole thing is completely [censor] up... And now i'm pissed I just got pushed off.

Ok so we came to Ihop #3461. We signed up at the front counter because there was quite a wait. I made it clear to the the lady at the front counter who's name was odalys, that we would be coming in with 5 people and 2 babies. When they call out our name to be seated they act all amazed that we have two babies and the seating that they assigned to us was not meeting up to their expectations. I asked if we were fine where they had placed us and she made it clear that it would be kind of hard to help us or provide the best customer service with the babies in the way. To be honest she was and awesome attendant. But to be quite frank the lady in the front kept giving me dirty looks, looks of disgust. I asked our attendant if we should move but she said we would be alright . Still Odalys and her pose kept starring us down. To be honest I had to step out for a while I even switched seats with my wife so I wouldnt't feel so uncomfortable. The food was good, the server was awesome, but your attendant Odalys needs an attitude adjustment or maybe she was having a bad day at work.

The manager was extremely rude and flat out lied about menu changes that were not true because she was lazy and tried to cover her own butt when confronted about the lie. I caught her in a total of 3 lies. Extremely unprofessional and tried to blame the server who had nothing to say except apologize for the lack of respect and customer service from gm.

The food was not good had to send back serveral times. Finally cancelled my order. I was with 3 children and one other adult. The other adult, my daughter, couldn't eat either the potatoes or the salad. The server was training and trying but her trainer was scattered. I needed something about my order and could not find the first person to ask. I finally got up and walk thru the restaurant and when got almost to other side a young woman whom I think was manager finally came up and asked what I needed. My Order totalled $45.57 after they deducted my meal off. Most of the adult food was not eaten due to bad taste and temperature. The service was deplorable. I am not happy and will make sure not to eat at another ihop. I will also let everyone I can know about this experience

Came in to eat at this location store #4454 and the wait was fine. We get to our table the server came over didn't state her name and had a terrible attitude! So I asked her "what's your name"? She then stated Sheba. So my boyfriend told her his drink order and she just walked off. So I walked to the front and asked Christina can I speak to a manager and she went and told Freja and Freja looked at me and never came over. I waited to see if she would come and she never did. I have been here a couple of times and never had an issue until today. They are very unprofessional and have no sense of urgency to tend to their customers. I have worked in the Service industry for almost 10 years and counting and that was down right unacceptable. But if it's worth anything Christina was great and I appreciated her for taking the initiative to help us out and accommodate us the remainder of our time there.

I read the article in the news about the African-Americans who were asked to prepay for their meal due to their being"high risk".
Please be assured I will never give my business to any IHop restaurant in future and will discourage friends and colleagues to do the same.

This is the 21st century and such racist attitudes belong in the history dustbin.
If this is your way of doing business, then I want nothing to do with IHop.

please provide vegan menu options for entrees, dinner salads, deserts on your menu. you have only a very small portion side salad and fruit bowl and your oatmeal is served with cows milk. Please provide plant based milk options. Develop vegan pancake and waffle recipes to offer vegan customers. You do not have to have egg and animal milk to make very tasty pancakes and waffles.

I'd like to know when and how ISIS became the management of Store 3119. It's disturbing to find out the mark on the manager's forehead is caused from praying to alah so long it looks like he bumped his head! I truly worry when the waitress is wearing a hijab. Will one of them come running out of the kitchen with an AK-47 to kill as many infidels as possible? Make no mistake, there is no such thing as a safe Muslim, unless he's dead at your feet! This is AMERICA and none of us need to be afraid of entering a restaurant filled and run by moslims! I'm not going back to Store 3119 where moslims are running rampant! I can only hope the IHOP on Veterans Blvd is run by and American citizen!

We went to Tampa Ihop off of Spruce street, the place was packed but finally got a seat everything seem to go okay until we got our credit card statement, it appeared more was added to our check. We left a tip but they added more. It was only a few dollars but it is the principal that someone has the balls to do that. Contacted the store and the manage took down all my info and was going to call me the next day, of course he did not I had to call back and speak to his manage whom said they were going to note it in her file for the next time (what?) If there is a next time and was going to mail me the difference. Again I stated it is not the few dollars it is the fact someone took it upon themselves to do that to our bill. Well that has been well over a month ago never have heard or received anything from that manage makes you wonder if they don't have something going on in that store.

I was in limon colorado - and was treated horrible! He refused service after we told him we'd been waiting awhile politely which is normal at businesses when you're waiting with a crying infant and then you're told he isn't going to serve you! Then rufuses to give you the managers phone number. Uhm no. Like I said I have pictures call me [protected]!

I contacted my local IHOP in Columbia SC after visiting our Assembly Street location about a horrible experience my children (ages 6, 4, 3, and twin 2 yr old), sister in law, my brother and I got sick after eating at the restaurant. I have a picture of how the syrup dispenser was caked up with syrup. I spoke with the manager via cell phone and email and he told me someone would get back to me and I have yet to hear anything from anyone. The incident occurred in December and this is now March. This is my children's favorite restaurant but I refuse to ever eat there again and I will be telling my family and friends.
