I.G.A Express Supermarket / Discrimination

1 Shop 5 Apollo Place, Whittington, Geelong, Victoria, Australia Review updated:

My sister and I entered the supermarket on Sunday the 31st of January and i was looking at the school stuff while my sister Jodie went to their liquor Department to get served. The attendant scanned the 4pack of cans and then recieved a phone call from his boss John who told him to refuse service to me and my sister. He offered no explanation to the attendant who seemed very embarressed to have to ask us to leave. We were not rude or abusive and felt very humiliated. I need to know what can be done about this as its discrimination and a shop owner doesnt have the right to refuse service just because he doesnt like them.

The incident happened at 10:29am yesterday, 21 Nov...The staff/cashier Tracy was very rude and abusive. She slammed the receipt on the counter in front of me because she was upset that I caught her talking to her co-worker at the front/cigarette station instead of serving me.
When I confronted her, the more she got upset and raised her voice again.

Hoping for your immediate action regarding this matter.

    Thank you very much.
