The above reference company charge me 375 to build a website All of the things they claim they do on their website, I can not say was my experience. I am in the stone restoration business and they built a site for carpet cleaning business. When I explained to them the issues and told them I would like a separate page for diffent services i offer it was never done, yet they contine to charge. They did not do any quality control. Just look at the phone numbers. I finally got them to send a refund. they said it was prorated. it was 21.oo for my refund. my experience it they do not do what they say, they charge you no matter what the quality and there is no chance of acceptance. this is a RIPP OFF company. get the word out.

my name is don ames and i would like to tell the person who posted this ###ed up accusation that their accusation is completely untrue, Eric is held in high regard and his integrity is beyond this kind of crap. And my wife/friend is an amazing woman who does not deserve this in any shape or form, everyone out their could learn a hell of a lot from her. Please leave all of our personal lives and friendships out of a situation you are dealing with in your own struggles. Its really time for everyone to just stop looking backwards and move forward, we cant change the past all we can change is the future, its really time for all the ### posts to stop.

To the cowardly Anonymous poster of this content:

Since you are not involved in this said relationship, nor do you have any credible knowledge of the situation, you need to shut the f*** up. There are three people involved in this and each one of them has invested feelings in the situation. Since you have no guts to actually name yourself and since your information is completely incorrect, you only look like a gossipy ### hole (or ###). You obviously have a grudge against the company and choose to be childish and anonymous, hiding behind your computer, there for you have no credibility for yourself. You have proven that certain people never grow up and I have my suspicions as to who you really are. Stop being petty, get another job and move on with your life, since everyone you have so-called outed, has. I am ashamed at you.

I lost my BUTT with IDS. This company is very unprofessional. We requested IDS cancel our services early June, after numerous mistakes on our website. They continued to charge our account for 3 more times, we had 4 charges from June 5 to July 21. I documented our conversations through email so they will have to refund our cash. We disputed the charges and our bank gave us a refund. This company has the worst customer relations. They make every excuse for their incompetence. Please know that if you get in a relationship with this company, what they do for you you can do for yourself. IDS host your website through GO DADDY.COM You are charged 24.95 for your domain name and hosting in addt. to 41.95 a month for what? I don't know. Go Daddy is doing all the work. This is a legal scam.

Your best bet is to get out completely or go to Key WEB Design where the majority of the sales team moved to. They are in Boise ... but wait... can't go there either... They used to be partners with IDS WEBSITES...

Anyone wanting a website, if they show examples of their work, contact those businesses to get a reference... if you can... if they are even businesses any longer.

With all the bad news on here, there is a ray of hope. The culprit of all the problems, described so accurately on here, is no longer with the company. There is a new execcutive in charge, and he has no affiliation with the Keystone, Zoomba etc shaninigans. He has another legitimate and successful business, and he is going to put a stop to all the poor business proactices described on this board. I am a customer of IDS websites, and I have spoken to him personally. His name is Randy, and he is committed to making things right. I encourage you to call him if y0u have an issue. He understands and acknowledges the issues described here, and he is going to make a difference going forward.

With all the bad news on here, there is a ray of hope. The culprit of all the problems described on here is not involved with the company anymore. They have a new executive in charge, who also owns a legitimate and successful production company, and he is taking over IDS websites (zoombasite, Keystone, etc). I am a customer of IDS, and I have spoken with him personally. His name is Randy, and he is aware of all of the problems described on this board and is going to put an end to it all and deliver for his customers. I used to work for IDS Websites as a designer, and I completely understand what everyone is complaining about. The management of Ids would not allow us designers to do quality work, they wanted us to get a website up fast so that they could start charging the customer right away. They were all about quantity over quality, and as a designer its frustrating, I didn't spend all this money getting my degree just to build template sites. I was let go from IDS for trying to do the right thing and build sites the way they should have been built. So on behalf of myself and the other designers that were let go, I am sincerely sorry. Do not use IDS' Service, you will be wasting your money.

So Stiffy? Please tell me how it is you supposedly live in Salt lake City, had a website with IDS Websites and then claim to know what goes on as an employee. I find it disgraceful that you find this a forum to slander someone on the internet but yet are unable to back it up with your name or business name. Can you spell competitor or disgruntle employee? I can and it is spelled STIFFY... grow up, be a man instead of a boy and quit hiding behind your filthy rants!

I Called many times they told me what I wanted to hear but they still billed my card. I ended up having to cancel my card. This company has been creating new website names to pull in new unsuspecting victims.

Please take the time to file a complaint useing this link below. If convicted the CEO of this company could face felony charges for internet fraud. "same business under multiple names and not delivering goods or services"

Dear Lollipop/IDS/whatever random company you will make next to hide your failures,

Your work sucks, you scam people, you promote underage staff to drink (and drive), as well as numerous drugs. You have a CEO who cheats on his wife with employees, and whom physically assaults a co- owner on the call center floor. HELLO DONALD AMES! You encourage the sales staff to overcharge for items, and to get a credit card "however you can", and then bill them endlessly until they cancel the card. You treat staff like expendable machines, and its sick. BUYERS BEWARE. NEVER USE IDS WEBSITES /LOLLIPOP / ZOOMBASITE!

Dear valued customers,

We are never happy to hear about customers who feel their experience with IDS Websites has been unsatisfactory. Customer service is very important to us, as is transparency, and we work very hard to be up front about what customers should expect from us. Lollipop Web Promotions, ZoombaSite, and IDS Websites, while related, are legally separate companies that offer different products and services in different markets. Our goal is to make it easy and affordable for our customers to compete in an increasingly internet-driven world. If you are displeased with your experience with us, we ask that you contact us directly at [protected] so that we can agree upon a productive solution. Thank you for your feedback.

"Our office here at Keystone Site Design is filled with experts on both sides of the marketing fence, online and offline, and we will build you an online presence that will properly support both."

In case there was any doubt.

I was a former employee of IDS Websites. I was quite upset to be laid off but since then my suspicion of what I thought I was going on has come true. I worked for the design team and was one of their 'short term' employees. I was hired during the summer to customise templates... until August when their interns from Boise State could take over. Yes, these are your 'experts'. They laid off someone with a web design degree to have interns do the work. I wouldn't have been so upset if I hadn't turned down two other jobs while working for IDS Websites. But they failed to let me know that I was a 'short term' employee and could expect to be laid off by the end of the summer.

There was a huge lack of communication between the sales, customer service, and design teams. I used to overhear the sales team make promises that I knew the design team couldn't keep and listen a few days later as the customer service team attempted save the client. There were requests made by customers that were things I was perfectly capable of doing but was told by the design team seniors to not waste my time because they hadn't paid enough to warrent me spending more than a couple hours customizing their template. I probably worked too slow for their tastes but that's because I did more than pick a template and throw a few copyrighted Googled images in. I also had to teach a fellow designer who was also customizing templates about CSS and HTML. Because she was not a web designer but a graphic designer. A waste of her talent as well, imo.

In summary, InDemand Solutions, IDS Websites, and Keystone Site Design is owned by a very unprofessional temper ridden soon to be divorced piece of crud. He did show up to work smelling like booze and his temper led to a recent major lay off after he threw chairs at computers because he didn't get his way. Steer clear of this business. You are better off finding a freelance web designer who will take the time to really create a unique website for your needs and not a template created by students and the owner's son. Remember, you get what you pay for.

Haha this is hilarious seeing this page filled with former employees telling people NOT TO USE IDS. Hmm. Interesting. I am a former employee too. I am disgruntled. I witnessed everything that everyone here is talking about. It was frustrating to work for a company that blatantly lied to clients, all for the bottom line. I was embarrassed of the work that we did. Being in design, we were told to just churn out as many websites as we could, and not to worry about quality. It was clearly a quantity over quality operation.
And then when the company earned a bad reputation "IDS - Poor Quality Work", then they just changed the name so people don't read the complaints board- so look out for "Lollipop Web Promotions" and "Zoomba" too. They are the exact same thing.
And if anyone cares how this company treats its employees- IDS also has a reputation for hiring people and then laying them off in a few months.
So I did get laid off, but I wish I had had the option to quit, because I did hate the company I was working for.
Basically, the company is owned by a drunk. Owner Don Ames came in everyday reeking like alcohol or weed.
So I say this as a former employee, yeah I'm disgruntled, but I think for pretty good reasons. NEVER USE IDS/LOLLIPOP/ZOOMBA, you will undoubtedly be disappointed at the least, and most likely furious.

I am writing this as a former employee of this company. First let me preface this by saying I was not fired, laid off, etc. I am not 'bitter' or a 'disgruntled former employee'. I witnessed first hand mistakes being made in billing, design, and even on the sales floor.

In regards to billing...I would often hear the VP of the company telling the billing/customer service department whom was speaking with a former customer about why their card(s) were still being charged telling them to "just get them off of the phone, tell them whatever" and then we would continue to bill their cards.

Also, the "designers" of the websites consist of the VP's son (whom just started high school), and his friends. I kid you not. All websites are built 100% off of templates and the sales staff is told to solicit people with the promise of a "fortune 500 quality website, no templates completely custom...". There is also no quality control. No one proof reads or checks for spelling errors on your website. (And a good 90% of them had grammatical and spelling errors all over the place when we presented them to the client.) If that weren't enough the sales staff was also told to make a sale "at any cost". This meant lying to prospective customers. They want something IDS cant do? Not a problem, they will lie to your face, promise you the moon just to get your credit card and bill you for the design and first months hosting. Why you ask? As the VP would tell them "once we have them on the hook for the design fee, we can work out the issues later" AKA "we have your money, and its non refundable so unless you would like to be out $350 you have to work with us".

I quit because I couldn't stand around and watch people steal and lie. Please please please, save yourself the money...and the headache. Do not use this company.

You should post a complaint under thier new business name "keystone site design" and seek a law suite for goods and services. everyone impacted by this guy should contact Joe Senna with thier information about the new name for the company and that the billing ethics still contiune on. Usually when companies start doing this they are upside down in thier overhead. Cancel your credit card.

Wow, Someone208 you AMAZE me. Who cares what other companies they are and who cares if they use interns. Alot of companies use interns. Disgruntled employees are not usually listened to either. I wonder what your motives are. Also, as a happy customer that gets everything done that I need, I am sure that there are thousands of happy customers. Much more than the 7 that are on the website. Even their BBB rating is satisfactory. Much higher than the other web companies. To Cindy at Western Trail Riding Services. I worked for that company and yes they are dishonest people. I saw your website before they messed it up. It was so nice then they sucked the life out of it. Truth is to this company, they only had at the time about 5 actual web designers and a bunch of interns. They actually put new hires for other departments in design to learn how to create websites when we had no clue how to even do it. And yes they don't really even quality check it. They were going to a new server but its not totally true. They don't just have IDS websites, they have zoomba and lollipop. So that is why when you called they only say customer service and their name, so really you don't know what customer service you are calling. I was layed off from there, I think they hire people then lay them off so then when customers call in and have worked with someone and get someone new those people don't have a clue what you have been through. As a past employee of this company they are terrible people and i'm amazed they are still up and going because yes they do rip of people. I was there I know who they are and what they do. I actaully have probley e-mailed a few of you or even talked to you on the phone and I'm so sorry that you had to deal with this company.~!

This is my letter to discontinue my service... DO NOT USE THEM! They are the worst... I am much much happier with VistsPrint for half the price and I have yet to have to call them and my websites are GREAT!

Lora and Renee and anyone else who could care...

Please discontinue my services with IDS Websites effective immediately! My DNS servers have been changed as of today and therefore your services are no longer needed or wanted.

After many years of pain dealing with your customer service and lack of cafe for your customers, as well as your crappy customer service and development team, I am finally getting the hell away form your horrible business. Which I should have done years ago and regret not doing so sooner.

Please discontinue my billing to my checking account ever again. Please send me a confirmation that you have received this message loud and clear.

I have been a satisfied customerof IDS for over 3 years. My site brings me lots of business. When I need changes, which are ALWAYS free, I email them and they are done within a week. They return my calls and emails each and everytime. Unlike Web Pros. I have a feelingall you unsatisfied people are the type you are never happy. Also, did you even try to get the site changed to your liking or did you just complain?

IDS is great!

One of the worst companies I've had the displeasure of dealing with. Made my site completely wrong to the degree that what the site was advertising had nothing to do with what my company did. When I asked that I have more control over the site the charged me to upgrade my account and said they'ed have a specialist contact me to show me how to use their "custom controls" no one ever contacted me. Months went by with the issue being unresolved while they not only continued to charge my account but increased the amount that they were charging me. Finally one of the times I called about them not calling to train me they said that the system my site was setup on was now out dated and if I wanted to continue to have a site with them I would have to pay another $350 to upgrade to the new system. Horrible waste of time and money. DO NOT! I REPEAT DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!

Pure crap! They can't do minor monthly updates. Once again we are searching for a reliable web designer. The industry is getting a black eye for lack of reputable providers. They are as flakey as a snow storm.
