Stay away from dealing with this company if at all possible. I decided after one year that the cost of advertising did not justify the expense. I checked my contract to see if I could cancel by phone or if a new contract would be signed each year. I was quite surprised to find that the contract was automatically renewable unless cancelled specifically in writing. I wrote the company and asked to cancel my advertisements in the local directory. A week later a representative called to see if I wanted to make any changes to my ads. I told her no, that I wanted to cancel everything. At the time of renewal I recieved an invoice for an advertisement in the directory in a neighboring city. The representative did not return my call. If you want to cancel with Idearc Media be very specific. I did get most of the ads cancelled, but will pay for a small ad since I did not say "Cancel All Advertising with Idearc Media" in my letter! Even better, don't deal with them to begin with!

    I own a remodeling company I was called by one of their business consultants offering a lead generated program at 2.50 per lead I signed up under the impression I would receive an oppurtunity to bid 40-60 mjobs per month Basically this was a bunch of cr5ap I will tell everyone stay away from this scam

    Hello I agree with you, I sold Yellow Pages for over 20 years and called the necessary evil Sales Rep too many times!

    There is an alternative to directory advertising, please visit www.GREENdirectoriesUSA.com . Soon you will hear many say "Green is my Yellow"
