ICICI Bank / worst banking i've ever experienced!

I have been dealing with ICICI bank for the last 8-9 months with my salary account in HCL Technologies Limited, and credit card account (). So far I was very happy with ICICI bank. But today you people shattered all of my myths. If you see my credit card statements then, you will be able to find that how much I do transect on my card. I had cash back on my card before the month of December, when I purchased a product online (From Times Internet). This was never informed to me that you are drawing this offer back for internet transaction after December. You people keep on sending me a millions of e-mails and messages on my cell, about various offers and all other things, but you never did told this thing, also when I have availed this facility before. This is all your fault and lack of communication. If you talk about the monthly statements via normal mail, then I don’t check them as I do all the transactions on the internet.

Now my concern is that I did make two transaction last month which were very big one, one was the Air Deccan and the other was Dell Computers India Pvt. Limited. I had a choice from other banks which were providing me a very good cash back about Rs. 1000.00 against the dell transaction and Rs. 500.00 against the air Deccan, but I did not opted for the same and said that ICICI bank is going to offer me 2% cash back at least on the same. But to my surprise, you neither offered me any cash back and the rewards points was so bad, that one cannot imagine. I was not expecting this thing from you, that you are going to withdraw this offer without informing to the customers. This is not at all my fault, this is all your fault that you never informed this to me via e-mail, not via sms and nor any call. Else you people keep on sending thousands of messages and all that stuff to me.

So please tell me who is at all effected, ICICI bank?? I am sure and I have make up my mind not to use the ICICI bank card in future for even a single transaction. You will be very soon listening from me to close this ICICI bank credit card and I am going to publish it on the intranet site of my office, so that all 30,000 people in HCL Family should see it and never use ICICI bank Credit card again. This is the worst experience any bank has shown...

    Sub: Harsh customer liaison Officer & unnecessary delays

    I had been to ICICI Bank, Koramangala Branch on 21-Apr-2007 for changing my address as I have shifted my home. It was 11.00am when I was asked to collect a token from the token vending machine. I waited standing in the central for 1 hour for me to be called at a counter. After waiting (again standing) for 10 minutes at the counter, the customer liaison at the desk asked how could she help me. When I explained my request to her, she again made me to wait for 5 minutes, then gave me a form and asked to fill it and give back to her. When I asked if I should again get a token to meet her, she returned a cheap look as if I am an illiterate not knowing the abc's of banking and then said "no". When I filled the form and gave back to her it was 12.30pm. This entire process could have been done in 5-10 minutes time. I need not have waited for more than 1 hour just to get a form from her. Meanwhile, I noticed she was shouting at another customer who requested the form "out of his turn". He only requested the form "out of turn" because he wanted to fill the form while he waits for his turn to be serviced. She not only denied him a form, but he shouted at him, "who invited you to this counter?". I hope and request ICICI to train their customer liaison officers to behave friendly. I also request ICICI to remove any unnecessary delays involved in handling customer requests.

    Dear all,

    ICICI bank is the worst bank . I have transfered the money to my account and it has not been credited in the account and no response from the bank officials. Like many bad experience i had been.

    I have lost confidence with bank . I suggest please do not open account with ICICI bank.

    I applied for housing loan (Fixed interest rate) and got an approval for 7.75% (Year 2004). Bank asked me to send the documents that I did. ICICI guy delayed sending the form (that I was suppose to fill for disbursement).

    Bank said as there is already 31 days between approval and disbursal so you need to renegotiate the loan. New interest rate: 8.25%. I got the first disbursal (against construction) on 8.25%. Time came for second disbursal and I wanted an additional loan for 2 lacs. I asked the marketing guy whether you can increase the amount. He said yes he can and would be approved on the same interest rate (8.25%).

    Forget the additional amount when I got the disbursement of second installment (Remember fixed interest rate and not the floating); I got a letter from ICICI that new amount is disbursed at 9.5%.

    I applied for a Demat Account from Hyderabad Habsiguda Branch. The irony starts as follows:

    1. no person in habsiguda branch knows about Demat Services.
    2. no person in habsiguda branch speaks English!!
    3. it took total 6 months to get an account opened
    4. they are not aware of the charges , fees, formalities.

    ICICI bank is only keen in making customers and recruiting people. they are not interested in customer satisfaction or employee training which is clearly reflected from the lack of kn knowledge of the employees.

    Moreover bank is charging too much as brokerage whereas other services are offering at a much cheaper rates.

    ICICI is a big cheat and keen in exploiting the customers as well as harassing them. Personal interaction is worse than any government bank.

    I have a credit card of ICICI Bank . card no. is 44774743 xxxx xxxx. When I was applying for the card, it was clarified the ICICI bank personal - card division that there is the offer of cash back of rs. 250/- on purchase made within a period of 30 days. Till now the offer is continuing, that appears from the advt. in the web. But I don't understand why the credit card statement has been sent to me, asking me to pay off the amount of rs. 225/- (The amount of purchase made by me within 30 days ). I fail to understand, why this type of things happens, & people in general misguided. I have received the statement & require to pay the amount of Rs. 225/- purchased within a period of 30 days.

    I am a ICICI bank credit card holder. My complain is I didn't get my credit card statement in time, that's by I surrendered my credit card in bank. But I am still getting the late fees statement.

    I agree with all of you. ICICI is the worst and ### bankc run by some as***les. I had their credit card and even after closing the card these sh***t people were cutting money from my account.

    ICICI BANK IS A SORT OF A GROU OF PEOPLE SITTING THERE TO MAKE US FOOL. THERE CUSTOMER CARE IS WORST IN ITS CLASS. UNFORTUNATELY I ,ALSO, HAVE A S/A (628801023689) AS WELL AS DEMAT ACCOUNT WITH THIS WORST BANK . THESE DAYS THE HAVE SUSPENDED MY ACCOUNT DUE TO NON-SUBMISSION OF SOME DOCUMENT WHICH WERE LOOSED BY THIS HIGHLY SECURED BANK DURING MUMBAI FLOOD. THOUGH I SUBMITTED THESE DOCUMENTS THRICE ( BY GOING AT BANK IN KANPUR WHICH IS 125 KM FROM MY PLACE) BUT ACCOUNT STILL SUSPENDED, DISPLAYING THE SAME MESSAGE. I SEND SEVERAL MAILS TO IT'S OFFICIAL BUT OF NO RESULT. NOW I AM FEDUP OF THIS BANK AND I NEVER WOULD LIKE TO RECOMEND ANY ONE TO GO WITH THESE BLOOD SUCKERS. EVEN I AM THINKING TO SAY THEM GOOD-BYE. I WILL BE VERY HAPPY IF EVEN ONE BOARDER DECIDE TO KEEP DISTANCE WITH THIS WORST SO CALLED 24*7 BANK.

    After reading all of your experiences I notice that its not only me who is having the trouble with this Bank. They make false promises and on top of that they are scared to logde a compliant in the Customer Service cell. I tried to open a Demat Account with this stupid Bank since October-2007 and every time they reject the form stating that one of my signature is not matching I have send the form not less that 5 times even spending money form my pocket for the DHL courier but seems they dont like my Name and Signature the response is the Same. More over on top of that they never have the courtesy to explain to their customer that what we have to do in such case. I happen to call their Mumbai Office and the Representative told me that the validity of the Form expires after 3 months.. ITS A NEWS FOR ME ATLEAST... HAHAHA.. I asked them then why it is njot informed to me earlier???? He dont have any answer for that.. I think we all Indians should join together and Ban this bank from our country atleast so that poor customers dont get in the Grip of these no reliable substances.

    Dear Sir,

    I would like to lodge my complaint in strong words against Mr. Sunil Kumar Verma Team Leader (Mo- 09999973360) and Mr. Deeraj Sethi working as City Manager ( Mo. 09999013869) both the notorious perosn are working for icici search office at Jhandewalan vedeocon town delhi. Mr. Sunil kumar has printed my telephone no on his company's visiting cards and take rupees for a number of person in the name of bribe to sort out problems like as making international credit card. that matter come to my notice after receiving a phone call from Mr. Uma shanker ( ph- 011-28877543) he stated that Mr. sunil kumar has taken Rs. 10500/- in the name of making a icici bank's international credit card . A long time has been passed neither the credit card been issued nor he returned my money. besides that he told to me that he has printed my telephone no (09958314482)at his company's visiting card. I brought that matter in the notice of Mr. Dheerah deth (City Manager Icici Home search ) office at vedeocon tower delhi but he refused to here my complaint.

    it is my request to you please look in to the matter and take hard and strong action against mr Sunil Kumar and MR.Dheerah sethi

    Icici Bank is worst bank

    Why hcl provinding only icici accounts to employees?

    they try to get the feedbank from employees on banks and thenonly they know which bank is better.

    here ICICI bank imposing transaction declain charges on every customer.

    its around 28 rupees for every transaction decline.

    if we try 4 times to withdraw, they cahrges 112 rs for the same transcatcion.

    if any one ask this, they told we cant do anything .we cant give back.

    Some times they alos debited duplicatestatement charges
    55rs unnecessary.

    every one keep watch on their staements through internet, then only they can find .
    otherwise they loot our money.

    Choosing icici Salary account go through HDFC and some otherbanks,

    thats better.

    Pls take care about icici accounts.

    In my case they totally debited 300rs for transaction declain cahrges for two times.

    Just anybody have pblm with icici, just go through banks obdusmen and raise a complaint.

    thats better to control the cheating of banks.
