Beware of this site. You might get some good information here, however it is full of lady pitbulls that will attack you in all sorts of ways. Even if you VOLUNTEER to help the site out. Considering you are helping the site with ladies having surgery, any moderators in charge are actually bullies.
Can you imagine if you are just going there in order find out information not only before surgery but after? If you say something wrong, you are going to get yelled at or made to feel stupid. What kind of site is that?
Agree with the above comments. You cannot delete your account either which I am pretty sure is illegal. Some very bad advice given on this site and when I have pointed this out, certain members gang up and post the most vicious private messages. The have so many members, but this is only because you cannot delete your account.
I was about to join this site but quickly decided to look for complaints and/or reviews. Thank you and others for their reviews. Can you recommend another group or forum?
I have had the same issues with hystersisters. I feel they have their own agenda and any comments that do not support that agenda are taken down, members harassed, and memberships removed. I had a robotic assisted laparoscopic hysterectomy last year. The robot cut my small intestine in half and burned my bowel. I woke up from my 4th surgery with missing intestine and a colostomy bag. I went to hystersisters to tell my story. My story was taken down and I was bullied and shamed. I researched the website and it is sponsored by Intuitive Surgical, the manufacturer of the robot
I agree the moderators are horrible people. I just had a huge major surgery and wanted to share my experience but because I’m transgender she said I was not welcome. I will create another site where all are welcome and put that bigoted site to rest. please see picture.
Apparently I have to state that you are a woman in the agreement which is ridiculous. Anyone who gets a hysterectomy should be able to post. I DO NOT recommend this place as they do not care about you
I agree. I ran into the same type of situation about a year ago. One moderator talked at me to the point she made me feel stupid.
Avoid the place.
