Hydra Skin Sciences allegro skin products

The company is a total rip off! I called to cancel even before the item arrived. I tried to cancel before the order was processed and it was too late. You can always know with that "auto ship" program it is a rip off.
I called today, only 2 days after the order, it hasn't even arrived to cancel and a little dude who can't speak english offered me every option to stay with the program and i was adamat with him no, no, no! So far i've only been charged $4.95 on my credit card and he assured me there would be no additional charges, but from reading some other complaints on this board, I'm afraid he was not truthful with me. It's sad that these people are so dishonest and try to make a living off of ripping people off. : - (

on Feb 10th I ordered (for shipping charges only) Allegro anti aging cream and when trying to check out was shyster into ordering Brio Day and night serum. After reading the fine print and discovering that I would be charged in the future, I immediately cancelled the order. I received cancellation confirmations but still charged the shipping and handling.

I want my money put back! When can I expect the money returned?

Same exact scenario for me... called within an hour of the order to cancel and they still have charged me the $9.90 for s/h stating they are billed by their courier the moment the product is ordered. Yeah, right, not only scamming but also lying. Maybe they should take a look at a reputable company practices like Amazon, No info about a "subscription" until they have your card #. Why is it that if you purchase from home party products like pampered chef or mary kay or tupperware, you can cancel in 48 hours or maybe even 72. but these online scammers can use Macy's name and offer a "free" "sample" for s/h and bill people for 100's makes no sense where is the consumer protection

Hydra Skin Sciences do not fall for this scam

This company took over $230 out of my account without my authorization. I signed up for that free trial scam, then read the fine print and cancelled immediately. They still took the money out of my account. It's been 4 months and I still haven't got it back. I get different stories depending on who I talk too. The first phone call I made they said the money would be back in my account in 2-3 weeks, then they said it was refunded already, which it wasn't. Subsequent emails said it takes 2-3 months, now they say it was never taken out. But it was taken out and never returned. This is a major scam company.

Hydra Skin Sciences allegro anti-aging, brion night & day serum

I placed an order for the free sample of the Allegro anti-aging cream and before I received the cream I noticed that my account was charged 2 charges of $.99, 2 charges of $.99 and 1 charge of $59.99. I contacted Hydra Skin Sciences which goes by Hydra Skin and DermaCare and informed them I did not authorize the $59.99 and had not received anything. I was informed to return the merchandise, which they gave me (2) RMA #'s to send with them. Upon receipt of 2 boxes, I returned unopened with the RMA #'s. I was told I would be charged a $20.00 re-stocking fee.
Two weeks later I still had not receive any credit back to my account, then found they charged another $109. from my account. When I contacted them they insisted I received a third product (never) and the most they would credit my account would be 50% of the $109. I stayed on the phone waiting for a Supervisor...finally after approximately 45 minutes on hold and speaking with a person I was given a Supervisor (I was told that a Supervisor would call me back, but I insisted on staying on the line) after fighting with the Supervisor, I was finally able to get him to change the charge from 50% to $10.00. I should not have been charged 1 penny, but finally agreed to the $10.00. They are a complete and total rip-Off company!

Hydra Skin Sciences allegro anti-aging cream

11 February 2017 I sent for a Free trial sample of Allegro anti-aging cream, a product of Hydra Skin Sciences. In the process of providing payment for the shipping charge, $3.96 with my credit card, I could not proceed to check out without also ordering Brio Serum lotion for an additional shipping fee of $0.99. There was no indication or written statement that I would be charged after 14 days. This company swiftly captured my credit card information and processed the order.
13 February 2017 I received an email from Hydra Skin Sciences confirming my order is shipped along with a tracking number for the shipment. I went online to Hydra Skin Sciences and was alarmed to read so many complaints from customers who sent for a free trial of Allegro. They complained about excessive unauthorized charges by Hydra Skin Sciences for products not ordered. I immediately phoned my credit card bank and spoke with customer service and explained my concerns. I learned my credit card had two separate shipping charges $3.96 and $0.99. I explained what I had read and other consumers who also ordered free trial products from Hydra Skin Sciences were charged excessive amounts on their credit cards that they did not authorize. My bank provided me the phone numbers of the merchant who charged shipping on my credit card and advised me to telephone them immediately and make every attempt to cancel any order or shipment of product. I phoned [protected] and a foreign person requested my phone number to track my trial order. I advised him I was calling to cancel any orders from Hydra Skin Sciences by the advice of my bank. He immediately informed me that with the trial order, I had agreed to a “Policy” to accept a complete 30 day supply of Hydra Skin Sciences products. There was no reference or indication of a policy or agreement for a consumer to read prior to providing a credit card number. I insisted I did not want a trial offer or any products related to Hydra Skin Sciences. However, he continued to read from a script indicating I would receive the products to try and if I didn’t like the product I could return. I continued to insist I did not want any product and he then provided me two RMA numbers to write on the front of the product package and return the package no later than 15 March 2017 to 14925 Heritage Crest Way, Bluffdale, Utah 84065. I will return the product unopened and write the RMA numbers he provided on the front of the package and make a copy of the tracking number. I will follow up with my bank and dispute any charges by Hydra Skin Sciences.

Hydra Skin Sciences allegro cream, brio night serum lotion, brio day serum lotion

After seeing this product offered on a Dr. Oz advertisement, I ordered trial size, ONE product only.
The shipping fee was $3.93.

Within a week, I received the three products listed above in a single box.
PLEASE NOTE: I only ordered ONE product.
My Visa credit card was charged for $3.93 twice and additionally $0.99 twice.

Two weeks later, my credit card was charged $103.00 for the Allegro Cream and $109 for Brio Serum.
I never received an invoice for additional products and I never authorized these payments.

I have called two numbers listed with Hydra Skin Sciences (it is a call center out of India).
The final outcome of both calls resulted in an offer to keep the trial products and receive only 40% refund OR return all products, pay shipping fees and pay $40 "restocking" fee.

On another interesting note: they only allowed Visa or MasterCard. No American Express. If payment through American Express is allowed, any disputes are always resolved in favor of the cardholder. We all know that.
It is much more difficult to dispute charges with Visa or MasterCard.

This is a complete scam. The company, Hydra Skin Sciences should be banned from all advertising for trial products.

DO NOT ORDERED ANYTHING FROM THEM!

Hydra Skin Sciences anti-aging cream and serum

This company is a scam! I'm filing a public complaint in addition to this review. There have been many complaints submitted already online. I agreed to receive free samples and to only pay for the shipping and handling. There was nothing mentioned at the time of purchase about a trial period or that I would be charged the full price after 14 days. I haven't even used the creams yet and two fees were automatically withdrawn from my account - $103 and $109. Customer Service informed me that I will need to return the products for a refund, but I will be charged a restocking fee per product plus I have to cover shipping and handling costs. $40 at least down the drain in total fees for absolutely nothing! This company needs to be shut down for scamming people!

Hydra Skin Sciences allegro free trial

Free trial my ###.
Within 2 weeks my debit card was charged $103 for a charge I did not authorize.
You advertise this as a FREE trial- just pay shipping and handling of $3.96 and .99¢
So...if it's FREE...why am I being charged $103 without it being known?
I guarantee 99.99998% of people believe it is a FREE trial, yet you decide to SCAM us all with hidden charges and fees. Then - when disputed- a 40% restock fee?

I didn't authorize you to charge anything more than $4.95. So, in my opinion you're fraudualently advertising AND charging people. You are a complete scam!

BBB has been notified as well.

Hydra Skin Sciences allegro cream

I sent for a sample, I thought, of Allegro cream for $6.00 (with shipping). All good I thought until I received my credit card statement with a charge of $116.86 for either the sample or something else I have not received nor requested. I sent two emails to them from their website, but have not heard anything back from them.
More fool me for trying something cheap, I thought, online, but this seems to be some type of bait and switch or scam.
I am quite unhappy and would like my $116.86 to be credited back to my account. I am quite happy to send the sample back.

Hydra Skin Sciences hydra skin sciences allegro cream and brio serum lotion

In about mid-January I responded to a 30 day trial offer for Allegro anti-aging cream, a product of Hydra Skin Sciences. In the process of submitting payment for the $4.95 shipping cost I learned that I could not get it without also using the Brio serum lotion for an additional shipping fee. I was told that the two were shipped from different warehouses so one shipping fee was not possible. Then eventually I learned in smaller print after all transactions were complete that I would be charged the exorbitant fee of something like $89.00 each if I did not opt out within 13 days or so. It was too late to cancel. I argued with the man on the phone that nothing in the offer mentioned a second product and therefore I wanted to cancel. He said I would receive the trial products and would just need to cancel within the allotted time. Upon receiving the product there were no invoice papers, just an email address in fine print. At the address I was directed to a third party cancellation service which would charge something like $59.00 eachto cancel. I could not find what the amount was in the terms and conditions, only at end of the things I filled out. At that point I just erased all my information and went to their customer service site and left a message. That was a few hours ago so I have no reply. I do intend to stop payment on my credit card and contact BBB in Texas. I just want no further charges from this company other than the 2 shipping fees I have paid. When the order was forcibly placed I fully intended to cancel any future shipments.

Hydra Skin Sciences subscription scam!

I had the same experience--agreed to the "free" sample, paid the shipping, then 2 weeks later was charged $103 and $109. I never even got an email confirmation, and there was no packing slip in the boxes explaining the subscription. Super shady! I called my credit card to dispute it, they conferences in a company rep, and they supposedly have cancelled the account but won't issue a full refund ($10 restocking fee for each), and I have to ship it back at my expense. I NEVER saw anything explaining this scam--though they insist it was on the website. Must have been buried in fine print. I'm returning them, then disputing the restocking fees. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS! Now I'll have spent over $40 in fees and shipping for something I didn't even use. I'm filing with the BBB.

Hydra Skin Sciences unauthorized credit card charges

Early january, 2017, I ordered a free trial and was to pay only shipping charges of $4.95. Ordered allegro cream and day and night serum. Two weeks later they charged my credit card for $103 and $109. I called them from the number on the credit card site. They said they would cancel my account but I still owed them the money. After much deliberation and one hour later, they wanted me to return the products for a $10 each restocking fee. Hydra skin sciences, 14925 heritage crest way, bluffdale, ut 84065. I told them that I would not agree to anything and they were to stop billing me. I also told them that I disputed the charges with my credit card company. Citi told me not to return the products and they would take care of it.

Totally a scam. There was NO mention that you were joining a club and had to by the items every month for the rest of your life and will be automatically charged to your card.

Update by Marge in Florida
Mar 01, 2017 10:16 pm EST

I finally sent the product back for $10 postage. I argued on the phone with them for about 30 minutes. The man had to put me on hold many times to go to his supervisor. I refused to pay the $20 per item (I ordered two trials, one face cream and the other day and night serum both suppose to be $4.95 each which I paid). I refused to pay the $20 per item "restocking fee". How could you re-sell used face cream? Finally we agreed on $10 each and I mailed the used products back just to get them off my back. I included a letter telling them that they could charge my card a total of $20 but they must reverse the $103 and $109 charges first. I also sent a copy of the letter to my credit card company. So it ended up cost me about $40 to use this 1 oz. jar of cream and a few pumps of the gel in the day and night creams for a few days. I learned my lesson.

Update by Marge in Florida
Feb 11, 2017 9:20 am EST

I reported them to the Better Business Bureau and also challenged the charge on my credit card. The credit card company said not to send it back and wait for them to investigate. So far the merchant has not responded to my challenging their charges. They have a deadline in March to do so.

Update by Marge in Florida
Jan 25, 2017 10:18 pm EST

Citi Master Card said that I had already paid the shipping to get the free product and did not need to send it back. It would also create a restocking fee which would be charged to my card. They kept on trying to get me to say that I agreed to pay a $20 each restocking fee and send it back. I told them I hoped the conversation was being recorded and I would not pay them one penny. I also put in a complaint on-line with the Utah Better Business Bureau. The address they gave me to send it back was in Utah. I am sorry that I did not save the packaging that came with it. Since I never intended to ever do business with these people again, I just threw it away. I cannot believe that someone would actually pay $103 for a 1 oz. jar of face cream or $109 for the two little serum bottles. The internet is full of complaints about this company. Hope your grandmother doesn't pay any more money. Just dispute the charges and file a complaint with the Utah Better Business Bureau.

I'm a victim of this scam also! Saw the ad on Facebook for a 'free sample' and ordered it. Two weeks later, I have a $103.00 charge on my bank card. I called the company and got the run around about how all the details were in an email they sent me. I kept complaining and was finally given a 'refund' of 40%. Do not order from them!

I never received any e-mail from them. I did not know that if you wanted to actually "keep" the product you had to pay $103. Very shady outfit. I just sent it back and they agreed after much haggling to only charge $10 restocking fee. You should have not agreed to 40%. I kept on telling them no and they kept on lowering the fee until they got to $10. I just sent it back to get rid of them. Very shady business practices. I also reported them to the Utah Better Business Bureau.

Represented themselves as a free Clinique product. After receiving a tracking number that they shipped out, I sent in my cancel for future purchases immediately. They don't even give you a chance to try the product when you receive it before they are helping themselves to my money.

I had the same problems with this company. It was suppose to be a free sample if I paid the shipping charge which I did.. When I received my credit card bill, I had the charge of $103 on my bill. I called the number of the merchant & they told me, the information was on the website and it said that I would be billed in 3 weeks. I told them there was no directions on the site I was on & I thought I was receiving a free sample. I did not authorize this company to charge my credit card for the product. I would be charged the restocking fee when I returned the product. I said, it was suppose to be free with no other charges. I called my credit car company and they blocked the merchant for any future charges, but she did say to return the product, so the company would have no further complaints from me. If they charge the restocking fee, it would be blocked, as well, but she did say to watch my credit card, because these type of merchants are very tricky and they can use other ways to recharge. I learned my lesson the hard way, so I'll never order from a company I don't know, not matter how good the product seems to be..

I don't know who their right mind would pay $103 for a 1 oz. jar of face cream. It certainly wasn't on their web site or order form. I am waiting to hear from my credit card company to see what happens. They said not to send it back, but they may change their minds. What could they possibly do with a half used product if I were to pay the postage to send it back anyway. Also I would have to pay $20 restocking fee. How could they restock a used product? I did register my complaint on-line with the Utah Better Business Bureau. The address they gave me to send it back us in Utah.

This just happened to my grandmother earlier today. Same exact charges and re-stocking fees. They also told her that if she sent the products back they would refund her. I see you said your bank said they would handle it. She contacted Huntington but they did not say anything about shipping the products back. What is your opinion?

Hydra Skin Sciences allegro/brio

I too am having the same experience as the others that have written about.
I did send for the "sample" that was advertised as shipping costs only, however 15 days later "they" charged my credit card for $103.00 for each of the products. I was alerted by my bank about possible "fraud" charges, I did stop one payment but the other charge (same amount) had already been paid.
I called the number listed on my bank statement and was told I did not respond within the 14 days to the "free" trial therefore I was charged the full price... My card was charged on January 10th... today is the 25th... I did not receive the product until Friday, January 13th .

I ordered a supposedly Free sample product of Allegro for shipping charges of $4.95. I signed up for nothing else. This was a scam! If I do not return the sample, at my own cost, I will be charged $79.99. Plus if I do not return sample and cancel future orders, which was not stated in the sample product I ordered, they will continue to charge a monthly fee on my credit card. Hydra Skin Sciences allegro / brio

I, like all the others, signed up for "shipping costs" for a trial of their product. Like all the other complaints, I am getting charged $109.00 monthly and have received one one product. I, like all the others did not realize I was signing up for monthly charges. I want to unenroll for their product and monthly charges. There is no literature, address, phone number with which to corespond,
or call. I am very frustrated with this for business transactions. This is the reason I will never buy over the internet again. Very unethical practices, as a business. I did like their product, but with this type of "bait & switch" I will find other products just as good that have better business practices. How do I stop the monthly charges, and the product being delivered?

I thought I was getting a trial size for 5.95. It was charged on my credit card for 59.99. The first time I called the woman had very broken English and I had a very hard time understanding her. I then received another product, Brio and with the same understanding of it being a trial for 4.95. There were numerous charges on my credit card under these names on my statement. The 2nd time I called I talked to agent 399 and was having a hard time understanding his pronunciation of the English language. I was never rude to him but he terminated the call. I will be sending all the products back, unopened, and was informed that I will still be charged a 20.00 restocking fee. I read through your terms and agreements and did not see anything like that. Hydra Skin Sciences unethical behavior

At the end of October 2016 I saw a website offering free trial of anti-aging creams which you only has to pay $4.95 for shipping. They don't mention that once you provide them your credit card number they charged $109 for the creams and also are acquiring a fake contract to received a standing order and a monthly charge for shipping a product that just don't know if really will going to give the results that they promised. On Dec 5/16 I was surprised by receiving by mail the product, called to the credit card to stop the payment to them, having problem to get company costumer service phone number, ( because they don't provide any information ) finally called them and tell the guy TO STOP SENDING ME THE CREAMS. I WANT MY MONEY BACK, FULL NO PARTIAL REINBURSMENT. THE PRODUCT GAVE ME ALERGY!. This is unethical and dishonest way to do business.

Hydra Skin Sciences "allegro anti-aging" and "brio day and night serum"

My wife saw an ad on the internet and ordered what purported to be a sample of the products listed above, on october 13, 2016. We received an email back from the company on the same date, confirming that order.

There was not one word on that letter stating that this purchase was to be for a monthly delivery of their products, for a combined price of over $200 per month!

My wife did receive the sample. However, she never received any other deliveries of this product, even though we learned, through our credit card bill, that we had been billed for october, november, and december.

This company is a scam company. In addition to posting this letter, I am notifying the postal inspectors about this company and its practices. I hope they take this company to court and are able to recover unearned charges and a conviction for false marketing.
