Hydra Skin Sciences allegro anti-aging cream, brio smart serum, unauthorized credit card charges, unethical behavior

A few months ago, I ordered two products from a Macy's going out of business sale, with the understanding that the cost was only shipping of $4.95 each. I received my product a few weeks later. Much to my surprise, in May I received two boxes and my credit card was charged $109.93 and $115.94. Unfortunately, I was out of town for a few weeks, so I did not see these boxes or investigate the charges until the 2nd week of June. On June 20th, I received an email that more boxes were on the way! I looked into the many names on the different products and correspondence and found a lot of unhappy, misled customers. I then realized that I was unwillingly part of a subscription business that unethically used my information to send me product I did not order in a subscription service I did not request.

I just got off the phone with Chris, who reluctantly helped me sort this out. It was clear he deals with people like me all day long, and had a script he tried to stick to, but in the end I got my "subscription" cancelled. The June order that is en-route has been fully refunded - well, I've been told to expect the refund in 3-5 business days. I will be calling again if I don't see the refund in 5 days. I still have the 2 boxes from May that Chris flat out refused to accept back or give a refund. I do not want this product. I did not order this product. I did not authorize a subscription for this product and did not authorize charges to my credit card for this product. I want to return these 2 boxes for a full refund.

Because of my very negative experience, and from all the similar experiences I am seeing online from other people, I am betting that my complaint to the BBB is not the first one they will have gotten regarding HydraSkinSciences.
Unfortunately, I have no idea if the product is any good, as I can only see the unethical business practice and feel like I have been... yes, I'm using the word - scammed.

Hydra Skin Sciences allegro anti-aging cream and brio day/night serum

I clicked on a Clinique link (I use Clinique products regularly) and there was an offer for a free trial of Allegro, with the understanding that I pay shipping and handling. That was the first bit of fraud. This was not Clinique! I ordered Allegro only, but also received a second product, Brio, that I did not order, and was also charged shipping and handling for the second product. Second bit of fraud. A month or so later, my credit card was billed $103 and $109, and I received these two products in the mail. At no time was there any indication that I would receive additional product if I didn't cancel. I called and spoke with Frank [protected]), who stated that he would refund 70% and I could keep the product, and he was canceling my subscription. I informed him that I would be calling my credit card company to dispute the charge, and that I would have them remove the charge from my bill. I hung up. He immediately called me back and agreed to refund 100%, including shipping and handling charges. I again told him I would be calling my credit card company. I did call the credit card company and filed a dispute. The rep did a conference call with their customer service rep, who assured both of us that the amount would be refunded 100%. We'll see...

Hydra Skin Sciences your business practices and a pending lawsuit submission

Hello, I advised your customer service prior that I did not want any further product.

I will promptly return all of your products once received and expect a full refund. Your company is no longer authorized to continue doing business with me due to under-handing business tactics used.

I paid for a trial size with paying for the shipping of ONE product- not three which you shipped. Then you are billing me monthly for product I do not want.

if this doesn't get straightened out- I will be turning this over to the BBB along with all the reviews online of similar reviews for people you have committed fraudulent business against.

Kindest regards,

Teri Mills

Hydra Skin Sciences allegro and brio

I ordered a trial size of Allegro, that was advertised as part of Macy's going out of business sale, and when I received it, I called to cancel. They would not let me cancel, told me to keep it for 14 days and if I didn't like it to return it. Since I had been charged twice for shipping and handling, I just kept it. Little did I know they were dipping into my credit card account and stealing $103, $6 and $109, with no notice of shipment. Then 3 months later, I received an email stating they were shipping yet another, and I looked at my credit card to see they were stealing another $109. This is a total fraudulent operation and needs to be put out of business.

Hydra Skin Sciences subscription -

I signed up for a free sample..and paid for shipping.. within days of receiving the product I was charged $103 the full price of the product. I was upset - the product has caused me harm... my face breaks out in red blotches. I threw out the product. On may 6, 2017
I called and was told to send back product. I couldn't as I had already disposed of it. I asked to cancel any further shipments.
NOw I am being billed $109 for a product I have not received. I called to ask for a credit of that amount and was told they would give me back a partial refund - or I could send back the product. I never received more product - have nothing to send back.
Sooo
I was falsely led to buy a product thinking it was a sample. $103 paid plush shipping 4.95
I am being billed for another product I never received.
They won't cancel my subscription.
I want a credit for all money paid

Hydra Skin Sciences brio skin lotion day and night

I ordered what I thought was the free trial: $4.95 for shipping/handling. It came in two boxes stuffed full of literature written in tiny, hard-to-read fonts - colored letters on a not-so-contrasty background. I threw away the packaging and put the tiny bottles in the bathroom, figuring I'd try the stuff after I finished an already-opened lotion from the drugstore. A couple of months later, I got two charges - each for over a hundred dollars - on my credit card bill! I called my cc company to dispute the claim, and the cc rep called the company and stayed on the line. The Brio person talked lightning fast and kept repeating the same thing, about how I signed on the dotted line and didn't "cancel" my subscription. I pointed out that I had only received the one shipment, so Brio person finally agreed to refund me the price of the second month - about half of the bill - and cancel any further shipments. I said I wanted the whole amount refunded as I had been billed in this shady manner, and told my cc company that I wanted to dispute the charge. I just got a note from my cc company that Brio had sent documentation - xeroxed, hard-to-read, in small font, etc. - so now I'll have to write a letter to further pursue the case.

Reference Account numbers 484638 & 475848. The refund referenced below has NOT been received; your "customer service" toad said that it was processed 4/21/17. If it was, you sent it to the WRONG person. The only payment received was $50.50. You need to STOP PAYMENT on that request. The bank account on which you drew the UNAUITHORIZED debits amounting to several hundred dollars is now CLOSED. You need to contact me IMMEDIATELY to get the correct account (or debit card) number to get this payment sent to me as promised. If I do not hear from you within 24 hours, I will FIRST contact Visa and give them the documentation showing that you FRAUDENTLY withdrew money and now are not living up to the repayment terms. YOU HAVE TWENTY FOUR HOURS TO GET THIS REFUND PROCESSED TO MY ACCOUNT (CAN USE PAYPAL IF NECESSARY) !

Read an article online about the product from people magazine so i thought it would be a legitimate company. Boy was I wrong, it said in the article I could order a sample for 5.95 of each product. I thought that was not too bad so I did. I just received the package 7 days ago and now there is a charge for over $100 on my credit card! I called to ask why there was a charge and they said the trail period was over. I asked what he was talking about and he said i see you signed up for a 14 day free trial period. I said it hasn't been 14 days and he said oh its 14 days from when you order it. WTF!? 1st I didn't sign up for a free trial, 2nd how can you have 14 days to try it in only 7 days? Then he said he would give me the rma numbers but i'd have to pay $20 restocking fee!? How crooked could they be? No matter what they are stealing money from me. My friends and I will NEVER trust this company again.

Hydra Skin Sciences allegro

On 11/23/16 I ordered a “trial” jar of Allegro face cream for a shipping charge of $5.95. As a result of ordering this “trial” jar, I was subsequently billed $103.00 for this shipment. The next month I received a second jar for which I was then billed $109.94 ($103.0 plus $6.94 for shipping) as a continuum. Neither the first or second shipment contained any packing slip or order number for identification. It was necessary to go online to find the name of the company and look for information. I returned the second shipment immediately.

Although the online advertisements for Allegro are made by Hydra Skin Sciences, billing on my credit card was made under BUY*STA SKINCARE. I could find no information online for this company name. identification.

I researched the company's telephone number and called. The connection was extremely bad with excessive background noise from many other phone reps talking (boiler house style). The person I talked to explained the “trial order” to me: Buried somewhere on the order page there was a box to check that took you to a second page which described the actual order – if I did not return the first “trial” shipment within a specified time, I would receive continuing monthly shipments of the product at $103.00 plus $6.94 shipping.

After some 25 minutes of arguing for credit for both the $103.00 and $109.94 shipments, I have received credit for only the second shipment of Allegro which I returned. I have written letters to request a refund of $103.00, but have had no answer.

There are several different sites offering this "trial" order, and all have the monthly shipment explanation buried in wordy paragraphs. This is an obvious scam (as reported in several online websites I found) that is designed to catch the everyday shopper. This type of operation should be removed from the Internet.

Wellif you do get a law suit going against them, please let me know. Im in . I got burned by these thieves also.
I sent them back their jar of snake oil on May 24th 2017 and as of todays date 6/15/2017 they've yet to send me my refund. I ran the tracking number from my postal receipt and it shows that it was returned to their office on the morning of May 26th, 2017. These people need to be put out of business and make full restitution to all the people theyve stole from.

Hydra Skin Sciences unwanted products scam

I Ordered a free sample of the Hydra face cream for $4.95 in January and have been sent monthly orders of two different products, Brio and Allegro, which has amounted to over $600 dollars. I have tried to contact Hydra a number of times, but the website does not respond. I am going to work with my credit card company to close out my account, but this company should be prosecuted. There seem to be numerous complaints on the internet about this company, but unfortunately I did not see them before I ordered this product.

Hydra Skin Sciences allegro/brio

On may 10, 2017, I contacted the company after seeing that my account had been charged twice for a total of $212, for product that I didn't order. It took 3 times on hold to finally get 100% refund {1st offer was for 50%, 2nd offer was 75%, which I refused}. I sent pkg back on that same day, tracking showed it was delivered may 12 to the front desk. Today is the 21st of may, and surprise!, no refund showing up in my account, though they said product would need to be returned within 30 days or refund was voided. Total scam, there should be no re-stocking fee for a product I never ordered to begin with. I will be speaking to my attorney about further actions and checking with whatever government office is necessary, and also filing a complaint wiuth facebook, as this was where I first saw this product advertised. Shady people, shady practices, do not order this product!

Hydra Skin Sciences brio and allegro

I ordered Allegro and Brio came under separate wrapping. Two weeks later I was charged $109 for the Brio and $ 103 for the Allegro.

I returned the Brio and will get only 70% back. I kept the Allegro, despite finding it a worthless product and will, get back only 40% return, in both cases I am 7 days past the allowed trial period. I am a vulnerable senior, this made no impact on Hydro skin personnel who process the return.
It is a rip off.

Hydra Skin Sciences allegro anti aging cream

I ordered this cream in march under the impression that I could get this cream for the shipping of 4.95... Off of face book.. (Big mistake will never order anything off face book every again... Lesson learned) I did receive the cream and there was no paper work or explanation that it would cost me $103.00 either... I do not have this kind of money to spend on cream... My thinking is that I had opened the cream and used some of it (Should not have opened it and would not have if I had gotten paperwork on it and realized what the cost would be).. Received the bill after I had opened and use some of the cream... I felt this was a bad representation of merchandise to be purchase and yes as others have stated false advertisement, but because I had opened and use the product after the fact and then not getting a bill until april and seeing this outrageous cost of 103.00 plus shipping of 4.95. I would pay for this one that I have opened but not hardly 2 weeks maybe 3 I just this week have received yet another jar and reading all these complaints... Guess I again will be charged for another 103.00 but I am shipping this one back (Have not opened it) and praying that your company will do the right thing and not charge me yet another 103.00... I will refuse to pay this as well because I am returning the merchandise.
I truly pray that this company will be more up front with what is expected from the buyer and not mislead the customer.. A refund even on the cream that I have would be a gesture of kindness... I have not used but about 4 or 5 finger tips out of the first jar so would gladly return it for a refund
Thank you and
I will be returning the cream in the box it was shipped in along with a letter and charges to my credit card for the first cream I received

Hydra Skin Sciences allegro and bio

I was misled to believe I was receiving one product for the cost of shipping only. I received 2 products for the cost of shipping, then was charged approx $100 apiece. I returned both products with a promise of refund minus a 20% handling fee! I received one refund of $89 but not the second refund of $83.
I am repeatedly told by Hydra Skin Sciences on the phone that my bank acknowledged the receipt of both refunds. I can provide proof that there was only one deposit of $89 on May 1.

Hydra Skin Sciences neurolit and another product

I never received the products but was charged 4.95 for each to cover shipping and handling for a 30 day trial. Very deceptive as my initial charges were on April 13th. On April 27th and 30th they charged my card 95.00 and 99.00 . Although they said my products were delivered I never received them. If there was a 14 day free trial this would not be from the day you receive the products. They wanted to provide me with tracking numbers so I could go to the post office to resolve this. I am not able to go to the post office. This company is terrible. Do not ever order anything on a free trial . I wanted a credit card refund which they denied. I will contact my credit card company and hope to resolve this. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Company not wiling to have product returned and the cost credited to customer. The fact that you must call within 14 day of receiving the trial is not obvious, It is buried in the terms and conditions. I am attempting to return 2 packages of Neurolit that I did not request but the representative states that I cab receive credit for only one. In addition I have been advised by my physician to not use the product.

Hydra Skin Sciences charge to mail back product if you cancel within 14 days of ordering. so they charge to ship to you and charge to ship back to them

If you don't like the product or decide you do not want to purchase on subscription basis you are charged to ship back or they try and charge your card for $50..supposedly that is half of what the monthly subscription fee is. So your charge shipping plus in their "contract" they threaten a $20 restocking fee.. and this is for product that has been used.

Hydra Skin Sciences unauthorized credit card charges; deceptive sales practices; unordered product

On April 4th, 2017 I was browsing Facebook and saw an offer for an Allegro Skin Cream sample for $4.95 postage & handling. I put in the info needed and when I checked my account saw 2 charges each for $3.95 & .88. Assuming it was a website error and because it was only $4.95, I left it. Wrong! After 2 weeks the 1st company charged me $103.00 and 2 days later the second company charged me $109.00. Company # 1 representative could barely be understood, but finally agreed to return my $103.00 minus $20.00 restock fee. No, I argued with him because I did not order the item to begin with, and did not receive the promised sample for $4.95. He said I will only get my refund after mailing back the only sample I got; and no matter how many times I said I would not pay a restock fee, I do not know whether I will be charged. Company #2- I spoke with Mike (Raj) and he also insisted I pay at least 40%-I had not even ordered or received a second sample, just been billed. He gave me a long tracking number and after management consultation, said that if the USPS would indicate that the item was undelivered, they would refund my money. Next stop, USPS, where after a 45 minute search they found the box which had been delivered in error to the wrong address. It was returned to the office for redelivery to me. Needless to say the USPS would not amend the delivery date to May 9th, instead of April 18th. I think this is a scam, plain and simple, and both companies have the same address, same uncooperative attitude. I have requested a return label, and cancelled the additional contract for residuals. The only thing "Mike" gave me was a Brio Skin website which had a whole set of conditions spelled out. Had this been posted on the initial offer, I would never have ordered my so called "samples".

Hydra Skin Sciences service not pleasant, trial not being longer than 6 days since it took 7 to get to me and the price over $100.00!!!!!!

[protected] Per George I ordered the product on April 20, 2017. I did not RECEIVE the product until April 27, 2017 which only gave me a week to try it before the trial ended. This is not sufficient time to trial a product ! I did not know how much I would be charged and was shocked at the prices George quoted to me today. This was never told to me. George spoke SO FAST it was difficult to understand him and I repeatedly had to interrupt him to slow down so I could understand him. I asked for a supervisor and he told me that person would just tell me the very same thing he was telling me. He offered me 40% off but the product causes a tingling and red spots on my face. George FINALLY told me I could sent it back and I would only be charged $20.00. I accepted that and he gave me the address and two numbers to put on one box. I will tell everyone not to deal with your business unless a price is quoted up front and paper inside the box/boxes provide the products account number, a number to call and the amount that you will be charged. Also I would like to have been able to discuss the product with someone who does not speak so fast it was difficult to understand EVEN after asking him to slow down I was having trouble understanding him since he spoke way too fast. Maybe that is the way your company wants it. I wish I had had a more pleasant experience speaking with your company but it was not to be today! And since you have a Complaint Board on the Internet tells me I am not the only one who has had problems.
Sincerely,
Susan Pelletier
