Hyatt Residence Club Hyatt Residence Club Bonita Springs, FL

I received an offer letter from HRC, after answering all of there questions I explained to the agent that my husband travels a lot, I would prefer to attend the presentation by myself, That is not allowed e both have to be present. She assured me that whenever my husband would be in Florida, call and we can come to the presentation it would be no problem, I excepted the invitation and paid the $199.00 deposit, my Co # 1910815.

I called in June to reserved for July, I was told they couldn't accommodate me in July at all . I called again in July for a weekend in September again they can't accommodate me, I was offered mid-week, I explained to the agent my husband would not be available, and neither would I as I'm working. I said you know this is my second attempt to book and you'll can't accommodate me. I ask to speak to someone with more authority, such as a supervisor, manager, the agent placed me on hold after 4 minutes she came back and repeated the same spiel like a recorder, again I asked for a supervisor, the agent said she is unable to transfer the call and they would only tell me the same thing. So at this point I said I would like to cancel and get a refund of my deposit. Logically if you can't accommodate me to sell me your product, than after I purchase and you have my money, it will only be worse.

The agent offered to take my email address and said they would reach out to me, so far not a word.

I was trying to reserve 2 month out and still they can't accommodate,

Desired outcome: I want my deposit refunded to me.

Hyatt Residence Club Account information and all values were deleted, no acceptable compensation offered

The Corporate Office stole our 2180 point savings, worth $ 3.500 when the timeshare was sold. They deleted all our account information without notice. An unacceptable "accommodation certificate" was offered to make up for their wrongdoing. We have written proof they knew we had the points in question and was still available. Rejected solution.

Desired outcome: Points or value moved over to World of Hyatt or Interval International, with FULL value and flexibility as for regular members

Hyatt Residence Club Unlawful termination of owned points when timeshare was sold

We are sharing a negative experience with a Timeshare company, located in Florida.

We have been timeshare owners and last September we paid our annual Maintenance Fees, which created 2000 fixed points, with a value of approx. $ 3500.00. The points were changed into what they call EEE points, which are a more flexible way to use the points towards a vacation. This was due to the fact we were in the middle of a pandemic and we wanted to make sure our points could be used whenever the pandemic was over and travel to or from the United States was allowed by the Federal Government.

We sold our timeshare property on May 14th, 2020. In spite of HVO Membership Services verified our existing points in writing, the Corporate Office denies the fact. In return they have claimed HVO Membership Services did not know their job and attempted to make this our problem, saying it was all "a misunderstanding". In return, the Corporate Office attempted to force through an unacceptable solution for us, which was rejected.

Desired outcome: Fraudulent business practices

Hyatt Residence Club Fixed weeks are not fixed weeks

Hyatt cannot explain this action.

All of a sudden, Hyatt Residence Club has decided that my "Fixed Week 4" is not really week 4 but is week 5

They try to tell me that January 1, 2022thru January 8, 2022 in (get this) "Week 53" of year 2021

(you can't make this stuff up... that's what they say

My contract reads "Week 4"... BUT I can't check in until January 29, 2022

Calling Hyatt is a VERY unpleasant (unfriendly) experience

Guess I need to have an attorney read my contract to see what "week 4" is supposed to mean

I have a picture of their calendar online that shows week 4 as week 4

Hyatt tells me that is a mistake

Desired outcome: Check in Week 4 January 22

Hyatt Residence Club cancel vacation

Hyatt will no reimburse my flight tickets $1500 after they cancelled my vacation to Puerto Rico because resort is still closed In Feb 2019 I booked my family's vacation to Hyatt residence club in Puerto Rico for December 2019. I bought airline tickets in June 2019 at a discounted price because they were non exchangeable, nonrefundable. Hyatt called me at the end of July to cancel my family's trip because the resort still is not open and will not be open until May 2020. I cannot get my tickets refunded or exchanged and Hyatt is refusing to refund me the ticket price as well. My husband is active duty military, so rescheduling vacation for different time frames is very difficult. Hyatt customer service did not even apologize for the inconvenience or try to work a deal to repair THEIR mistake.

Hyatt Residence Club timeshare management

I'm an owner at Hyatt Sunset Harbor in Key West, Florida. In June, 2018, a construction project in the pool area was undertaken that was supposed to take a few weeks. It's now January, 2019, and it's still torn up. I pay probably the highest timeshare management fees in Florida, or the U.S. It's obvious this project was mismanaged, as on site staff was blaming the town of Key West for holding up permits. A professionally managed project would have sought and received proper permitting before demolition started. If they weren't familiar with the process, the could have hired a local attorney to represent our interests. I have an equitable interest in this property. I made 4 attempts by email to the site manager to obtain the contact with the City of Key West to get their side of the story. I was deliberately kept in the dark about who from the city was on this project, and who from Hyatt or Marriott the ultimate owner of Hyatt Residence Club was responsible. I've had 2 stays in the past month at the resort with the pool area torn up. Not happy with the concealment of this job to a timeshare owner. I don't know how the Hyatt "government" works and what I can do about it.

Hyatt Residence Club hyatt residence club maui/ hv global group

I had signed up for an offer back in May 2018, to spend 5 nights there at the Residence Club in Maui for a great rate, requiring a $500 deposit and agreeing to listen to a Time Share talk once there.I was told to call back in June to schedule our dates for the trip, once they release the 2019 time blocks. So I did call back in June and EVERY week since. 4 days ago I called again, after being on hold for more than 20 minutes, I was just told that the 2019 dates for booking the Residence Club are now "SOLD OUT"! After having called this number at least weekly in the last 4 months, and being given the run around regarding the booking window for 2019 "not yet being released. Please call back next week/month...", I am more than upset to say the least. He tells me that the dates were released (and all 7 months of 2019 were booked) last Friday (8/17/18). I had called last Thursday (8/16/18) and was told "Sorry, not yet. Please call back next week, that's all I know".
There is something terribly wrong and absolutely unethical & unlawful about collecting $500 from hundreds, if not thousands, of people like myself, keeping the money for this length of time, and then cancelling the offer.
By the way, when I asked to speak to a manger, I was given the name Jesse Aguilar, and transferred to an extension for a voicemail that was (not surprisingly) FULL and unable to take a message and then disconnected.
HRC is unbelievable and a company to NEVER be trusted. I have yet to be refunded my deposit and have not heard back via email or phone.

Hyatt Residence Club timeshare

I own 3 weeks, Beach House in Keywest, San Antonio and Sedona. Waiting lists are corrupt since management keeps the list secret and seldom fulfills them. Ever since the owners of Interval bought the Hyatt residence Club things have gone downhill. They should be investigated for degrading my owner rights because of their new upgrade program. I was never told that Hyatt could rewrite the rules and rights without the consent of existing owners. It goes like this: you pay them many thousands of dollars to upgrade where you get to cut the line getting into their resorts as well as being able to book out 18 months (current owners can only book out 6 months maximum even though the reservation system inexplicable allows you to search out 18 months) and this of course puts existing owners at a disadvantage and over time may make ownership almost worthless unless you take your deeded week. It devalues what you already own and I'd like to know how they can get away with this practice? Seriously considering selling before resale value gets even lower. The salesman said that in most cases Hyatt will exercise its right of first refusal in order to gather up all the deeds and essentially resell them (without deeds). Eventually Hyatt Residence Club will be able to sell 2 or 3 times as many weeks as there are actual units because few if any will actually have a deeded week!
This company should get put on the American Greed TV show or some other Scam show because this is an incredibly corrupt practice.
