Humana humana medicare

In September 2018 Humana exchange to medicaid Lon term, after that send a letter and stop service in HUMANA GOLD CARD for 1 mont, No medicine, No food, No primary doctor, after One Mont send to my Wife a new card Gold Plus (HMO SNP. To day March/ 28/ 2019, send a similar letter, same DATE 28/09/2018 and stop for second time all service, Primary Doctor, Medicine, and Food, I contact Humana Medicare for give my Wife all service.
My Wife Margarita have Medicare, Medicaid and not have food, we have very low Income, is impossible paid a food, medicine, and paid for a primary Doctor, please help my wife.

Humana unethical behavior

I would like to post a complaint to your offshore representatives. They are very rude and doesn't seem to have a guideline whenever answering calls. It always took me 5 calls just to get accurate information. I also cannot get in your survey because they will not hang up and will just route you back on queue which is an obvious manipulation of metrics.

Humana comp benefits dental

Dont trust anything you hear over the phone from them. I tried cancelling my account over the phone with them two months ago and was very kindly told that it was cancelled and everything was taken care of. Nope my account has been debitted and credited for the last two months. I cant get them to stop my automatic payments. I call them about it and get the run around. Aweful customer service.

Humana change in claims processing for in-network dentist

Recent claims have been processed as an out of network provider
Dr. Mitchell Tseu is an in network provider with Humana
According to Humana customer service, a lapse in his contract occurred.
There was no notification about this lapse in his contract.
Patient claims in the last 2 months, September and October, were paid at a much lower rate and now the patients have a much larger out of pocket expense.
Attached claims reflect the problem.
Before filing a complaint with the insurance commissioner, it would be appreciated if the claims could be adjusted and paid at the in network provider rate, as in the past. Also, a documentation about the lapse in the contract? Thank you

Humana the number doctors call for authorization

My PCP referred me to a Pulmonary Specialist. The Specialist ordered oxygen for me. When the specialist called Humana for authorization she was told that the PCP had to get the authorization number. Upon speaking to the PCP I was told that he cannot get an authorization code for something another doctor ordered. I called the Specialist again. She called Humana again and was told the PCP had to get the authorization code.

I called Humana and after going through 2 hours of speaking with one representative and being on hold for another representative I was told that the Specialist had to call for authorization. The PCP has nothing to do with it.

I called the oxygen company and was told that the PCP had to order the oxygen and get an authorization code. I was on the phone with the oxygen company, the PCP, the Specialist and Humana for several hours on Wednesday. Then again for several hours on Thursday.

On Thursday Humana gave me a phone number and reference number for the Specialist or oxygen company to call to get the authorization number, which I then passed on to them.

It's Friday and after speaking with Humana I was told they had given an authorization number a few minutes ago. I called the oxygen company who now refuses to return my call. I called the Specialist who's insurance girl hung up on me after insisting that the PCP had to get the authorization code.

Then I received a call from a branch of the oxygen company . The girl told me she had to call Humana and go through 2 supervisors before they would give her an authorization number. She said she was on the phone for over an hour.

My complaint is that the initial people the Specialist and oxygen company talked to was giving them erroneous information and not giving them an authorization code. The people were telling them that the PCP had to call in. My PCP did call in the first day and was told he could not get an authorization code for something another doctor had ordered.

Your people need to be trained. They are [censored]s when it comes to policy. I could die while idiots are running the insurance company.

Humana dental

My wife and I have been members since 2012 I never missed a payment I'm on auto pay. My wife broke a tooth and we had to pay for it ourself which we assumed we had full coverage. We decided to upgrade our coverage to include major services in case we need it in the future. I called you customer support and recorded the conversation and was told it would be 74.99 a month with no waiting since we had continuous coverage since 2012. I told the gentleman let me call my wife and see if she wants to pay that and have her call you back. My wife called 30 minutes after I called and was told she will have to have a 12 month waiting when she told them she has a recording that the person my husband spoke to said no waiting. The principle is not about waiting 12 month we got the tooth fixed you can contact our dentist and he will tell you it was a back tooth and all other teeth are healthy. I will provide my dentist contact below. The representative was rude would not let my wife speak to a manger and if this is the treatment your company training is that's a shame. I'm so angry that I will not stop till this is resolved. I will contact the media if I have to resort to that. My wife is Magda Belden and she deserves an apology. We don't care about your waiting period because will look for Dental insurance somewhere else with a 12 month waiting. This treatment is unacceptable. Her contact information is [protected]. Humana humana pharmacy

My prescription was almost gone and when I ordered a prescription of fluvoxamine 9/21/2018 for my anxiety disorder. I received an email from my doctor the following day that the order was placed. Humana Pharmacy website stated that it was being processed. When I called to check on the order Humana Pharmacy stated that they were scheduled to release the prescription until October 15th. I told them that I needed to have them sent out priority mail but they refused. I was instructed to go to Urgent Care and they would not give me a prescription since it was not released. I have gone almost three days without the medication and suffering as a result with electric shocks, How can a company do this kind of thing when a person like myself is suffering from a mental illness and not have access to medicine. I think it is a disgrace and down right cruel. I believe this issue should be addressed, Humana Pharmacy made a mistake and did not own up to it. I am still without medicine and have to wait until Monday to call to resolve this.

Humana rude nasty telemarketers

I have been getting repeat phone calls every week from this same number [protected] I am being harassed by Humana I told them to remove my phone number yet they keep on calling me and calling me to no end sick of it and I already have health care I am on Social Security Disability and I don't need your dam health insurance I will take you people to court if that is what you people want?

I get about 3 -4 phone calls from [protected] every day from someone representing Humana. There have been other numbers which have called also, but currently this [protected] is the biggest problem. I have contacted Humana about this and, of course, they put me on their "Do Not Call" list but it has made no difference. Calls to Humana say this is the marketing department and customer service has no control over the marketing department -- which I know can not be true. I think I will try your approach ----

"buy a whistle, answer the phone and blow on it as loud as you can and then hang up everytime she calls. "
Since a call to customer service seems to have little effect.

Humana fraud, unethical behavior, pain and suffering

I believe my visit to the Johnson Memorial Hospital was set up August 22 2018 with Dr. Durfee by appointment at 3:00 August 22 2018 for Ropinirole, generic for Requip for increase in dosage because of the Ropinirole at bedtime became ineffective for my movements anymore. It was like it completely stopped of doing what it is suppose to do, stop movements in my legs especially, but overall movement of many other parts of my body as well. It worked well for many years, but just seemed to stop working. I had it increased one time before from 0.25 to 0.5 by Dr. Nicholas Krueger at the CCMH in Montevideo MN Phone [protected]. I didn't like what was going at the CCMH, so I refuse to go there for anything except getting my ears flushed out for ear wax. There has been many fraudulent things that have gone on at the CCMH in Montevideo MN. Lawyers have witnessed evidence of it, including recent Civil Rights Lawyers Loevy and Loevy in Chicago IL PHONE [protected] Fax [protected] of all kinds of fraud by this CCMH including forged medical documents of MRI'S and Cat Scans, Medicare, plus Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance fraud of what could of been prevented and stopped, had they not of pulled these crimes. The United States Government is also aware of this as well, by phone, fax and sent documents by USPS mail. Any way I just wanted to show you what is going on and more then likely is the reason for this complaint to Humana for a lawsuit for you and me Kevin L Strand Phone [protected] email [protected]@hotmail.com. My complaint as stated above is fraud because they did not fill the prescription increase on Aug 22 2018 that was faxed to Thrifty White Drug in Montevideo MN, my pharmacy, that I use for my prescription medicines for years with Humana as my drug coverage provider. Their Phone number is [protected]. I wnt to the phasmacy to pick it up the next or following day of either Aug 23 or Aug 24. The female employee said it wasn't filled yet, meaning that these dates of appointment with Dr. Durfee Aug 22 2018 of increase of Ropinirole, the followind day or after was plenty of time to be in my Med Sync change in my prescription of Ropinirole. Why wasn't it? I also believe when I got my automated phone call from Thrifty White Drug, that I pushed in the number on my cell phone keypad of a recent Doctor visit. This is plety of valid evidence of my complaints on this matter, that are not Humana's fault but what these people pulled or the pharmacy Thrifty White Drug. I wouldn't think it would be the pharmacy, so I would say with high probability it is the same person or persons doing all of the fraud charges, forgeries and more. My complaint then is how mush pain and suffering I went through because it was not filled to relieve my movements and deprive me of sleep, as part of the reason for my losing sleep. I suffer tremendously without my Ropinirole. I have plenty of evidence of that, too. Was it unethical of Thrifty White Drug not to fill the increased dose of my Ropinirole in a timely fashion and of having it at least filled out by med sync standards on September 4 2018 when I picked my medications up at the drive up window at Thrifty White Drug. From August 22 2018 til pickup of medications on September 4 2018? This caused me great pain, suffering and sleep because of this. A few more pieces of evidence of this. My pickup of my medications on September 4 2018 still has the name Dr. Nicholas Krueger as the prescriber of my Ropinirole on the pill bottle. If the increase was faxed by Dr. Durfee on August 23 2018, then why is her name vot on the pill bottle? Blatant negligence that caused me all of the complaints mentioned and more. They out right lied to me at Thrifty White Drug this morning by phone call records on my dialed calls and my cell phone provider Verizon. The call was made at 11:27 am September 6 2018 to Thrifty White Drug from me Kevin L Strand of me asking Jill who works there, about this matter. Another lady took the phone or cut in like I have caught them at so many times before of this evidence, who said" I couldn't pick up this medication until September 10 or Sept 12 because Humana insurance wouldn't pay for it until then". I would cay these people are in for a big lawsuit for Humana, Thrifty White Drug possibly and myself Kevin L Strand. Please fax this message to Humana from Kevin L Strand to Loevy and Loevy at fax number [protected]. Thank you, I have valid complaints that are not Humana's fault but for Humana and the FDA of Food/Drug/Administration of tampering. Add human rights violations of cruel unusual punishment of negligence of severe pain and suffering without my Ropinirole by criminal activity, along with Government and Police listed below in the catagory! Ordered refill on 7-9-18
Humana Pharmacy cancelled order without telling me.
Contacted Humana on August 12th to find out what happened to refill
Humana shipped refill on August 14th - again without contacting me - no info on when it will be delivered yet - has not reached USPS yet
Ran out of meds & phoned Humana - representative had no information to explain what happened.
Out of meds - called my doctor to get prescription sent to local pharmacy.
I would not recommend HUMANA PHARMACY to others

Humana application fee, dental & eye plans

Dear Humana Representatives,
My name is Vernell Vaughn, assigned member, #[protected]. Your Representatives failed to inform me about an application fee. I had another health plan coverage with another company & was not aware that, my original plan offered dental & eye plan. I requested cancellation of all services on July 23, 2019 & spoke with a Natalie, she stated, they would send me a form to sign in mail, never received. The total amount taken out of my checking was $109.00. I am requesting this amount be put back into my checking account. I called Human today & spoke with Gabriel, August 13, 2019 at 9:00, he was the first person to tell me there was an application fee. None had of your other representatives mentioned anything about application fees. If not refunded all monies, I will tell my friends on social media about this experience against the elderly. Thank you for the opportunity. P.S. never received the hard copy form to sign for cancellation. Only received $16.99 refunded to my account. It's been over 21 days, have not received, as told by Natalie. Thank You!

Humana referral process for service connected disabled veteran

Two trips to ER over the last month. ER unable to do anything for the issue other than encourage him to explain to Humana he had a treatment team with the military doctors that were familiar with his specific case. Humana will not refer person to this group of doctors citing "they are full" despite this patient was already a patient at this group, has severe medical issue history of over 20 years and 11 surgeries. Humana person intercepts email to PCM (primary care manager no longer known as Primary Care Physician) about the issue and refers him to Humana phone line. Humana phone line is designed to intercept calls to specialty clinic/military doctors so he cannot communicate issue for doctors to assist in resolving. (Did I mention the issue involved internal bleeding while all of this is going on?) When seen face-to-face, PCM explained she cannot assist Humana in resolving the issue. Humana's first referral was to a non-existent doctor, this means the person named never worked at that particular clinic, no one ever heard of the person. Second referral is to another doctor who is non-existent. Doctor of a similar name- different middle name and different specialty listed in the area. Phone number and address for this person was also different. A message has been left with that doctor's office, but no call has been returned. (Still in pain and possibly bleeding here...)

Humana it department in chicago

Hello, I was working in one of your facilities in the Chicago area. When your IT representative walked in the door. I politely said good morning to her as she walked in. Seeing how we made eye contact I expected a reply. The response I received was a look of who are you as she walked past me around the corner. I hope that is not your company policy, to be rude and not reply. She also likes to boaster about she is the only IT in Chicago. I hope this will be addressed.

Humana dental coverage

I am Lonnie C. Caston. The reason for me sending this email is because I was quoted the Complete plan by one of the sales representative with your company, but he set me up with the Preventive Plus plan. I clearly explained that I needed major work done(i.e.-Root Canal, Crowns & Deep Cleaning). The sales person said to me that I will be covered and there was no waiting period. So, I called to make a dental appointment at a dental office and the representative said that I was not covered. I have been calling Humana for 2-weeks to try to get this taken care of. Humana humana dental insurance

We have Humana dental insurance. It is a total scam. Wish I would have known what a rip of they are.
They will deny every clam you submit. First claim, they told me that there was a SIX month waiting period before they will pay any of your claims. SIX months? I pay a premium for what?
THey said if it was something minor, they would cover it.
So claim was denied since it was a partial for my husband
I file a claim when my crown fell off and had to be glued back on. 10 min appt. xray and glue. 149.00
Human DENIED it. Said there was now a TWO month waiting period. Who cares that it was just a minor fix. Rules must have changed again.
they said what they always day...you can appeal.
Well I did and I can imagine the appeal on some fat guys desk getting stamped denied
STAY AWAY FROM HUMANA!
NOTHING BUT A HUGE RIP OFF

Humana advantage plan

I am writing this for my sister and nephew who are in charge of her care. I want to find out if you are willing to go with this complaint before I talk with them. My sister is 75 has leukemia and lives in an assisted living facility in MN. Last month my nephew was notified that they canceled her Humana insurance policy due to insufficient funds. They claim that was due to insufficient funds. They also state they sent a letter to my nephew. He never received it. there are plenty of funds so it sounds like a cliche in the transfer of funds process. they are in the process of getting the letter from Humana and the bank statement to prove there were funds. But in the meantime my sister is without health insurance. I understand why my nephew is not listening to my suggestions. He is probably overwhelmed and scrambling to pick up the pieces.

My name is Elaine Rice I tried refilling my Lantus last week (9/10/18) the original RX is for three months at time of refill. Spoke to your representative who told me it would $290.00 co-pay, cancelled the request and hung as I cannot afford that price.
Called back today 9/18/19 I did not have a co-pay today when she was checking and in the end, she came up with
$190.00 it seems to me that either your employees do not know what they are doing or they are cheating for you.
I am writing this to you to let you know I am still without my Lantus and will be speaking to my doctor, because this is no way to treat patients in your care .

Humana referrals

your referral system sucks! On my last three appt. then i got to the Dr's office there was no referral,
one: at pal-mri for a x ray, took paperwork to pal-mri, they said they would contact my Dr. two days later pom-mri called to change my appt because no referral, i called my prim, they said HUMANA had not approve it, made new appt, , got the xray ( took 4 days to get your paper work.)
Two: took list of appt with Dr's name & phone gave to my prim, requesting referrals for the appts. 10 days later arrived at Dr Lorena Lewy-Alterbaum when i arrived, no referral when Lewy office called prim, she was told no referral was applied for i called my prim office they said humana had not approved
three: after taking in the list of referrals i needed i also called 4 days before appt, then called 1 day before appt and on each was told yes your referral was done and will be at dr office, june 15 wife's ( same prim.) went to dr angella for eyes after giving my prim a list calling 3 times got to dr office NO REFERRAL had to reschedule appt. because my prim said, , first humana did not approve then said dr angella did not send codes, , is this a way to chase away your members, , and make Patients suffer when we need the care, not the BS paper work wheather it is humana or the primary, please do something, , you know in December i can chang

Humana the sieve and agents

I called on 5-17-18 twice and once on 5-18-18 and once one 5-22-18 and was adv and assured that I would be able to start going to the new dentist on 6-1-18.. so I made an appointment with the new dentist on 6-5-18 . I called to confirm that I was placed on the new dentist list with human today. the first agent I spoke with said there were no notes of my previous conversations in may and was very rude and over talked me the whole conversation she hung up.. called again and spoke with Kim but would not provide an agent # and then hung on me.. called again and asked for a supervisor he agent hung up once again.. so I finally spoke with Lana after four attempts to get my issue resolved she did state she would attempt to but what she stated was the same information I got when I called on May.. so my issue is still not resolved.. the customer service I got today was the worst ever! If I could switch my carrier I definitely would!

Humana dsave

Recently acquired a plan with Humana, it is called Dsave DO NOT BUY it is a SCAM¡¡¡.

This plan is not an insurance policy as such, it is a simple discount card that when you decide to use it, The service provider do not accept it, the provider may or may not accept it.

It's buying a lottery ticket, so absurd, that simple.

Go to the Humana website and look for the providers that appear on your list, when you call, the list is not updated, because the people you serve do not know that plan. Next step, call customer service
Me: I need a list of what site I can go near my house.
Operator: There is no such list, that plan is that you go to a provider that may or may not give you the discount between 25 to 40 percent of the cost, but may or may not give it to you
Me: if there is not a list where I should go?
Operator: As indicated, you must go to see if they accept to give the discount to any site that you go.
Me: this is a scam. I want a refund of what I have been charged now.
