So I bought the modem after setting up charter...Was told to wait for my information in the mail that would allow me to collect my rebate. It never comes, so I try to figure out what's up, and I google CharterFreeequpment because that was on my online receipt. No number or anything. I call Charter and try to figure out what's up, and they end up hanging up on me.

BUT! After looking at the receipt again I see a very tiny link that says go to http://rebates.offerwire.com/ . So I contact that number and ask around, and they say my rebate as already expired and that I was supposed to download the forms from online. I say no, someone said to wait in the mail for it, and this was the first time I had even seen the link anywhere. They basically called me a liar and say there no way that would happen, but I'm not an idiot and if I had known to go to this website I would have. I asked to speak with the manager but of course she had already left.

Honestly, don't be lured into the sense of free anything, they will rip you off.

Yes, I called them about expired rebate too and they won't give the rebate form, but they told me I can still return the merchandise with 20% restocking fee. Also the wireless router sucks that it wont work with my VPN. So its a bad bad scam.
