I was charged by them on the 19th. I don't know them either. I tried to call but it sounded like it was an old answering machine and told me to use the help support online.

I was also charged by them a few days ago and am having my card number changed because of it. Either the site is part of a crime syndicate or some fraudsters decided to use the site as a test for small charges on stolen numbers.

I had a charge of $4.38 on 2/23 from alamwebstudio.com. I called my credit card company, reported the charge as a fraud and changed my card number.

Just looked at my online bank account and found a charge from alamwebstudio.com. I don't know who they are and I've never done business with them. The bank description of activity was "Computer Maintenance" and company was categorized as "Wholesale Distributor and Manufacturers." I'm going to my bank today to report it as fraud. It was for only $2.58. Imagine how many people would not even notice it... Someone is getting rich off of this scam.

I just found a charge of $4.58 on my debit account today, 2/26/09 from alamwebstudio.com. I called my bank and disputed the charge and they are sending me a new debit card.

I found a charge on the 3rd for $4.58 and disputed it.
FYI it is VISA's policy that any charges disputed less than $25 are not covered by VISA, it is up to your bank in my case to take the loss. They did but i found that info to be very disturbing, if they make 100 charges for $4.58 the bank can pull that rule out of the books and make you pay for it...

I have been out of town since 2/9. Checked my credit card statement and found a charge for $4.58 made on the 10th by the same people. I just got off the phone with Visa, disputed the charge, and got a new credit card and number. Now I will send a letter to the "disputing services" I found on the back of my statement. I also checked my credit report for unauthorized activity. It's good, so far.

I was also charged by this company. The bank told me that they even had my address. I filed a report at www.econsumer.gov. I'm trying to find a way to get this company shut down. Really disturbed by this!

I was charged two days ago for $4.58, and I've never heard of them before. I did find out that the wesbite is registered to Cheryl Winston, 6059 Lyndhurst Dr, Houston, TX, 77033 courtesy of a search on http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/index.jsp .

I was charged on 3/9 for 4.58. Does anybody know how they got our credit card numbers. My card was my debit card and it was a visa. We all need to contact CNN and Fox News and get this out there!

I found this exact same charge Monday night. I have closed my debit card account. I have contacted the authorities with the information I have. The phone number on the site is registered in Middle Virginia. The email address on the site actually responded to me today. The name on the email was an Eric Johnson, it was a very generic email.
I am going to keep investigating this and attempt to give the information to the authorities. The sums are so small that many people are not even noticing this scam.
I, too, am concerned about how my card number was found. I keep a pretty secure system.

I'd highly recommend that you file a complaint with the FBI Internet Crime division. It takes just a few minutes to fill out.

Even though it seems to just be small amounts, if enough people get affected, whoever is doing this is getting rich.

The FBI site is here: http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx

    "Dear Customer,

Could you please provide us with the last name of cardholder, zip
code and the last 4 digits of the card # to find this transaction.
    Thank you.

    Sincerely yours,

The same thing happened to us this week. We just came home from vacation and discovered the charges. The weird thing is my parents were also out of town at the same resort and their cc was charged too. Was anyone else out of town? We are wondering if it could have been someone at the airline or the resort. We never used our card but, we did have it with us. Just curious, because the coincendence is too great.

I have information about how our numbers were taken. I received a letter from my bank concerning my Visa Debit card. Heartland Payment Center, the company that processes credit and debit card payments, was intruded around Feb.

I too have gotten this bogus charge on my card, and am working on getting it removed. Does anyone have any idea where they might have gotten the card number, any patterns?

My most recent online purchases were from TicketMaster, Priceline, and BustedTees I would think that those sites would be trustworthy.. but who am I to tell?

    Any ideas?

I found out that they charge on my credit card for $ 4.58 for computer maintenance. It is a fraud.
I'd like to know how they got my credit card number, too.
Can we do anything about them ?.
My most recent charge on line was Land's end, and it was on the same day this bogus charge happened.
It is just a coincident, right ?!.

    Tasu.
