HSBC Car Loan Deptt. / cheque for last 2 installments not presented

Car loan was taken from HSBC in sept'02 over 60 installments.
After paying off 58 installments, last 2 cheques were not presented by hsbc for clearance.
Innumerable phonecalls followed by & a letter couriered to the manager at mumbai main branch (on 17/4/08) have had absolutely no response from the bank.
A simple request to present the last 2 cheques for clearance so that i may get my Noc has been ignored causing unnecessary delay & inconvenience.
It is shocking that a reputed (?) bank as the HSBC provides such sub-standard services!
