HoverBoardCloseouts Hoverboard

I ordered a new hoverboard closeouts and I received a used hoverboard. I have been calling them since 12/19 trying to return the board in an effort to get my money back. It took me 4 days before I could get someone on the phone. I call Morning, Noon and night and on the 5th day of calling I finally got someone. I continue to get the run around. They first requested for me to send pictures of the board. Than I have been informed for the past 2 weeks to wait on an email from UPS so I can return it. im convinced that they are hoping that people would get tired of the run around until they give up trying to get there money back. I WILL CONTINUE TO CALL UNTIL I GET MY MONEY BACK. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

HoverBoardCloseouts Scam - product is crap, "runaround service"

Like many others have reported...the hoverboard worked for about a day then stopped working, could not recalibrate, no manual, no tech support...was supposedly a new hoverboard but it didn't even come with a manual. They keep telling me they will send me a "return shipping label" by email but that has been going on for almost 2 weeks now with multiple phone calls and follow up stories and excuses, so that appears to just be a runaround story. This has been a disappointment for my kid and waste of time and money for me.

HoverBoardCloseouts Hoverboard defective-company will not respond

I ordered (2) hoverboards and gave to to my kids for Christmas. The red hoverboard I gave my daughter was charged, then worked for a few minutes before shutting down. We tried to recalibrate, but the problem could not be fixed. The product is unsafe, and inoperable. I have tried for (10) days, at least (10) calls, and (20) emails to get a response. Each time I call, they take the same information and say they will send me a return label on email. It never happens. I have sent the emails and have not heard from the company. My daughter still has no Christmas present, and I can't even tell her how long it will be until she gets it. I get no response, no calls, no updates, etc. I have reported to the New Jersey BBB. I have seen similar concerns about this company and am posting at each site. We need to all band together and bring this to national attention, and seek legal representation. This is unsafe, and theft. This company will not respond no matter what you do. LET'S STAND UP AND HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE!

Definitely do not buy from this site! I ordered a hover board on 11/28, didn't hear anything and called on 12/12 where I was told by the woman who answered that she was just a receptionist and to call back at 10 for customer service. I called back at 10 and a man answered, he was giving me a complete runaround, I demanded a tracking number which he told me to call back in 2 hours to get.. he also said he was a receptionist.. when I called back in 2 hours it was the same man acting like someone else and he said then that he was customer service and still did not get a tracking number, I told him I knew he was the same person and he said, oh that's my other job! I asked him the address he was at and he gave me a different address from the site, when I questioned that he started giving a major runaround and I eneded up getting out of him that he was in Honduras! I googled both addresses which were office complexes and called the phone numbers and they had no such company in those complexes, I then told the man that I had family in New Jersey and they went to the address he gave and there was no such company and his response was, well I don't know about that! If you are a reputable company, you know if your company is real! Total scam, I had to go and buy my son another hover board for Christmas, so disappointing..

HoverBoardCloseouts Internet company giving run around

This is a scam! I ordered a hoverboard on Black Friday and quickly got an email confirmation. 5 days later got an email the color had sold out and to pick another color which I did and it was supposed to ship. I have been calling 2-3 times a week since Nov. 30 and getting a person who will never transfer to a supervisor or can tell you what is going on with your order. They are trained to tell you it will be there by Christmas. The bank is investigating and I will get my money back through VISA. This website needs to be SHUT DOWN.

HoverBoardCloseouts Hoverboard

We ordered 2 hoverboards on 12/7/16 and called twice to see when they would be shipped. They said they were trying to get with ups to make sure they would be shipped but they couldn't guarantee it would get there by Christmas! " Seriously" we ordered the 7th and on the website it said it would
take 2 days to process order and ship in 24 hours. Should've gone to Amazon
prime, probably would've gotten it the next day! This is definitely a scam, I
wish I would've read all the customer complaints before I ordered, however,
most of them are recent posts. This company should definitely be looked into by the attorney general of the state of NJ! We definitely request a refund of our money! This website needs to be shut-down!

These boards are so dangerous due to fire that many shipping companies refuse to deliver them. I suggest you file a dispute with your credit card company.

HoverBoardCloseouts Ordered two boards money was taken and no boards or refund

I ordered two black hover boards. I cancelled the order because I was told they would not be here before Christmas. I still have not received the email cancellation document. I want my money back on my card so I can go to a store and buy my kids their hoverboards that they are expecting to get on Christmas morning. I have contacted my local police department who is contacting the New Brunswick police department to get this matter taken care of since everyone there gives me the run around.

HoverBoardCloseouts Hoverboard order

Definitely a scam. I called twice in a row within 10 mins of each other and got two different reasons why I had not recieved my order. I asked for a refund and they said 48 hours to recieve confirmation of cancellation and refund. Then when I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager they hesitated and stumbled and said they are not taking calls today. They are too busy etc. In fact they have been on the phone this whole time not saying anything. I wonder how long this will go on. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM. Thankfully my bank reversed the charges already and are investigating further on there end.

Do not buy from this scam website! My son wanted a hover board for Christmas and I decided to buy him one. I was happy when I found HoverboardCloseouts website and immediately made an order. Only after that I found the reviews and realized that it's going to end bad.
As I expected in the end I list my money and did not get the board. They contacted me and said my order was cancelled, and there was nothing said about my refund! What a terrible site to buy from!

HoverBoardCloseouts Took double payment never received item

I ordered on 12/3/16. Called a couple days later to see about my order, said it would be ordered on 12/12/13. Got an email comfriming the shipment. However they double charged my account overdrawing it. And ups said they have no item from such a company. Never order from here! Total scam! Have looked up reviews and everyone i find is a bad review. Always research before you buy!

Since you have not received, call your credit card and request a refund. I received two boards and one stopped working within a week. I call the company and have not received any response.

Only site I found with a hoverboard for a reasonable price. Still it cost 179.00. But it is the only thing my 12 year old daughter wanted for Christmas. So I purchased it. They charged my card and have never shipped it. I have email them and call them they don't know anything and someone will get back in touch with me but of course they never do. Really sad that there are people out here like this

So sorry. The same thing happened to us only we did actually receive the hoverboard but it broke within 40 minutes. Now we cannot get a label from them to return or exchange. This is the worst company out there. They need to be shut down. Such a sad Christmas for my daughter.

You will never receive a response. I have tried for (2) weeks and (20) emails. I received a defective hoverboard and my 8 year old daughter is heartbroken. I cannot get a response, or a date/time. This needs to be investigated.

I ordered a hoverboard on Nov 19 for my son for Christmas. Their website states orders ship within 24 hours but after 6 calls and several emails I continually get told it will ship tomorrow. They took my money but refuse to give me a tracking number. as of 12/7/16 I still have not received my item and I have not received a refund. This is a total scam. They claim there are no manager to speak to and no one actually helps you. All I have heard is tomorrow then tomorrow comes and nothing happens. This is so disappointing. My son's Christmas is ruined because that was my money for his Christmas present.

I place a order Nov 21, I have called every week and sent emails NO answer. When I call it always going to shipped tomorrow and never does. Do NOT buy from them there just taking your money.

HoverBoardCloseouts Buy elsewhere

I'm not sure but I think this company HoverboardCloseouts is a scam. My story is simple - I made an order and have no idea where it is.
When I made my order their rep said that it will take 7-14 days to deliver my board, but it is now over three weeks and still no sign of my order. I'm quite worried because I can't reach customer service and I have no tracking number to track my order. I saw a couple of reviews about them and everything got even worse! Many people have the same issue. Avoid this site and better buy elsewhere!

Ordered 2 hoverboards for Christmas (blue and red)...its all my girls wanted. Will not respond via email or answer phones. Thats everything I had now struggling to find money to get my kids something...

I ordered on November 28th and still haven't received my order. I didn't expect to have to wait weeks for my order to show. My Baby girls' birthday was November 29th and that's what I ordered it for, not Christmas. I'm very disappointed with this company.

Received the hover board on December 9. My kids opened the box on Christmas Day and it only worked for two hours. Then after recharging it wouldn't work at all. Returned it on December 27 and haven't heard a word back since. called them multiple times, e-mailed them multiple times, no response. Nothing but a scam and fraud.

Just like the others on this site, I had the same experience with trying to send one back as defective and they just keep stringing me along. No customer service and if you buy one and it doesn't work then you are out of luck and will never receive a return label. So sad people like this are in business.

Sorry, I believe you are out of luck. I cannot get a response. I have tried calling and emailing. I never receive anything back. We need to get people together and obtain legal representation to get any results.
