As someone who has experienced the convenience of last-minute hotel bookings, I must say that HotelTonight offers a mixed bag of experiences. While some users have praised the app for its great rates and easy booking process, others have faced challenges. Issues like rooms not being available upon arrival, misleading room descriptions, and poor customer service have left some customers frustrated. It's essential to carefully review the details before booking through HotelTonight to avoid any potential disappointments. Despite its flaws, HotelTonight can still be a useful tool for finding deals, but proceed with caution.

My friends and I love this app! Easy to navigate-user friendly interface. The booking process is very simple and straight forward. Though I cannot say they may have the lowest prices at all times, do your research on other sites as well. I have used this app several times, even after doing my research, and majority of the time have found the best last minute hotel deals via this app.

I booked two nights in Fort Lauderdale. I unfortunately have come down with Covid and cannot travel. I even sent them the confirmation. They offered me nothing except changing to someone elses name which i dont have anyone traveling or they said they could push it out a week (But I dont know if i will be well enough to travel then and its a week before christmas). I have been a customer of Hotel Tonight for Over 6 years and have booked wiht them probably over 30 times minimum. I spoke to even a manager who didnt even help. All I wanted was a credit and not even a refund. I wouldve like to have a little more sympathy. I dont think I will use them ever in the future for bookings.

Trying to get away from the heat wave, I booked a room for one night through Hoteltonight in Marina Village Inn, Alameda CA 94501. I decided to extend 2 more nights as the heat persisted so I called the front desk of the hotel. The woman at the front desk -she says her name is Ryder- told me I had to leave the room and check into another one because she " had that same room booked for another person" . I agreed but when I called back the night after to ask what time I should change rooms, the same man that checked me in said I didn't have to change rooms, as the occupation rate was very low.

The morning after I called the front desk, and the same woman told me I had to change rooms. I tried to explain that I was told I could stay because the hotel had low occupancy but she didn't let me talk and just yelled at me like a deranged person. I tried to explain that I was on a Zoom business call and that worst case scenario, I had until 11 am to check out but she continued to yell "I don't have to listen to you". She then proceeded to bang on my door like crazy for some time, and since I didn't open the door, she said she was calling the Alameda Police to take me out by force.

I filed a complaint with Hoteltonight and they just left me a message stating that the person "did have a high pitched voice, so it couldn't be technically called yelling" Really? Do the high pitch account for the banging on the door and the threatening with the police to take me out by force? So, to add aggravation to aggravation, Hoteltonight totally disregarded my complaint.

I want to leave a formal complaint because it's unacceptable that a person with clear anger management issues is dealing with the public. The way Hotelstonight managed this situation is also very unprofessional. We are talking about the HOSPITALITY Industry, where things like this should be taken seriously. Guests need to feel SAFE on your partners’ premises.

Used HotelTonight for booking ID; EN3ATF confirmation number; [protected] check-in July 26,2022 check- out July 27 2022 at Motel 6 in Redmond, OR. When I arrived, the front desk employee was very rude. I went to the room that I was given on the third floor. After entering the room and as I looked around found the night stand missing and the bracket that would hold it hanging went back down and told them that I was leaving and did not stay. The charge had already been made and they said I had to contact Hotel Tonight for a refund.

Customer Craig Kislig departed today. The have broken a big expensive (350.-€) flower pot at the main entrance of the resort. And they did not pay for a consumption in our restaurant amounting 14.-€.

The Guest reported at reception that they broke the flower pot, but as soon as we told them that they are responsible to pay a new one, the got into the car and runned away.

We do not think that this is not a Hotel Tonight's customer standard behaviour and that it cannot remain like that.

Could you help us with both issues?

Dear Team,

My husband -Steve Landry- and I have booked 2 rooms at the Riviera Suite Hotel in Miami Beach through HOTELTONIGHT on the 24th of March 2019. Once at the hotel, Sergio at the Reception told us that he could see only one room booked. So we had to book the second room in a rush, still with HOTELTONIGHT.
When looking at our bank Statement, 3 rooms were charged instead of 2.
Since, we have written to Sergio at the Riviera suite Hotel ant to Robert at HOTHELTONIGHT. No one wants to take the responsibility for this error. At the end of the day, the customer, (my Husband and I) ended up to pay for a mistake that we are not involved with at all. Despite all our messages to HOTELTONIGHT and to the Riviera Suite Hotel, we have not been reimbursed yet. If Sergio at the Riviera Suite Hotel has not seen the booking on his computer when we arrived, it means that something went wrong when booking at HOTELTONIGHT.
Today I have written another message to HOTELTONIGHT.

Their website states Plan Less. Live More. I wish it was really possible. But you only make our lives worse, no time for planning, you know.
They promise low prices, but in fact, everything is different. You book a room based on an offered rate and get charged more than you expected.
If you want to talk to them on the phone, be prepared to encounter an unprofessional attitude, and probably they won't be polite to you. That's how they are, nothing to do. And yes, they won't help much.
They didn't resolve my problem and couldn't explain why I was charged more than it's shown on their website. Kind of a paradox.

Even the worst booking website on earth seems to be great in comparison to this crap. They just took off my money and gone.
The room I booked was completely different and didn't have even a half of what it was described. Awful. Refused to give my money back covering with policies and stuff like that nobody reads. Who will protect your customers if not you? You have to do it, you should stand behind what you provide. Are not you embarrassed?
I will not recommend you to anyone.

I booked hotel room in Budapest through the website www.hoteltonight.com. Total rip off, so better don’t deal with these scammers. I booked the room and paid the deposit, but the rep didn’t contact me in order to confirm the order, as well as no confirmation info or booking number. Their phones were busy all the time, so I have no idea how to reach them.The worst company ever, so avoid these ### and post comments about your experience with them.
