Hostess Brands golden cupcakes

I've been getting these cupcakes for a long time now. The last few boxes that have had have had a few rock hard cupcakes in them. First box was orange, second orange and now golden the packages are open on one end with an extra piece of cardboard stamped in the end of it which kept it from sealing. I have never seen this problem before are there any solutions? Thanks Garrett.

Hostess Brands hostess m&m brownies

I often buy multipacks of your hostess m&m chocolate brownies at my local b&m and I have done for a while now, although in my latest box I found a curly dark hair in the packaging of one of the individually wrapped brownies. I have light blonde hair therefor I could not have mistaken it for mine. I have attached a picture below of the hair found in my brownie.

Hostess Brands hostess donettes

I purchased donettes on April 17 at a krausers convenient store in sayreville NJ and they were purchased for my 3 year old grandchild that loves these very much it just so happens that I tried one of the white powered ones and it literally taste like medicine it was the most disgusting taste I ever ever had with this brand that we always purchase please look into this the UPC code is [protected] the stamped number on the front is [protected]

Hostess Brands uzy q's

I don't get upset about very much. I had a short childhood. I had to grow up faster than most children. One of my fondest memories of my childhood was the Q. The way the cake was so moist and the dark cake that stuck to the packaging. The sweet cream that would ooze from the two cakes. A lot of desert for little money. I grew up in Lodi, NJ in welfare housing with very little to eat. So you can see how much your cake meant to me. I just purchased a box of Suzy Q's at Wal-Mart and the disappointment I fealt open the box and taking out that first wanna B of a Suzy Q. The cak is nothing like the original it's dry not much taste and there's hardly and cream. The shape has nothing to resemble to the original Q. You should call them Cake Squares because they are boring.

You are so right about the lack of creme filling in the Suzy Q's. I've noticed a lack of appropriate creme filling in all the cakes I buy today. The Twinkies, and cupcakes, and snow balls cakes, have hardly any creme filling. It really has an effect on the flavor of the cakes. I don't think my complaint will do any good. This company like most other companies is down sizing and trying to increase profits so I feel that is the reason the cakes are skimpy on the creme filling. They taste dry as well. I am disappointed about the cakes.

Hostess Brands ho ho's, 10 oz. box

Box appeared smaller than usual, but I purchased it anyway. I was shocked to find that the product is now about 25-30% smaller than before. Two bites and it was gone. These were NOT "mini's" or "fun size", etc. Hostess, along with a LOT of other companies, has reduced the size/volume of their product and is still charging the consumer just as much money, or more. Just how stupid do they think we are? That we wouldn't notice? Same deal with the Hostess pies; they're now over 25% smaller than they used to be, and cost the same or more. Joining this rip-off bandwagon are the cereal companies with their smaller boxes, soda companies with their flimsy aluminum cans than buckle in your hands, water companies with their thinner plastic bottles that also buckle in your hands, etc. This all needs to stop! Either return these items to their original state, or lower your prices to compensate for the reduced size/quality. I'm tired of being ripped off every time I turn around by these money-grubbing companies! I will NOT buy another Hostess product until this is rectified.

Hostess Brands sweet shop brownies with milky way pieces

Purchased at a Big Lots on March 17 2017 for $.75 plus tax

This has to be the most poorly produced product ever. It is so dry and tasteless, I am beyond words. I can not believe Hostess would put this product on the market and expect people to think it is good.

If this the best Hostess can do they need to get out of the business.

Hostess Brands chocolate and bavarian creme danish

Circle K convince store, Dummerston VT (West River Rd)

I entered the store at approximately 1030 hours and purchased the HOSTESS brand creme Danish (5 oz) size.
I returned to my office to consume the danish and the coffee I purchased right after leaving the store.
After I got to the office, I opened to package and uncovered a large spot on the back side of the danish covered in MOLD. This danish has a "best by" date of MARCH25 (E 0119 8100 is printed on package). I am VERY glad I waited until I got back to my office and did not consume the portable danish while I was driving. I would have gotten very sick.

Hostess Brands donettes powdered

I go to the store (meijers) and pick out a bag of powdered donettes only to get home and find out they are already expired by over a week and are now not edible since they have mold starting to grow evem though they were never opened. I am very disappointed in the fact that you would allow a store to keep expired products on their shelves and get people sick. I believe I am entitled to a refund as well as some vouchers for free products due to your companies negligance.

Hostess Brands hi my name is eric

so i bought two Danish is and one for me and one for my 2 year old son. after opening them i found melted plastic inside of the Danish. i had it sent out to a lab and awaiting the results. but to be honest i have never though in a million years i would ever find any thing like this in your food this was for my son. im really disappointed. i just dont get how your how your company has been around for so long and something like this could ever slept by your employees.my son could have choked on this.

Hostess Brands hostess donettes

These donuts are stale and smell like drywall and paint. They tasted like soapy paint/drywall. The taste was so horrible I couldn't get the taste out of my mouth. My friends complained about the taste too when i shared some with them. I threw away the donuts and the wrapper smelled as well. It doesn't even have a expiration date. I remember these tasting sweet and smelling sugary.

Hostess Brands hostess vanilla zingers 10ct

I purchased a box of the Vanilla frosted zingers from my local Woodman's grocer in North Aurora, IL on 2/23/2017. Upon opening it was observed that one of the cake snacks has an object on the side of it that does not appear to be edible. It looks like an insect, though I am not certain. The object is also very hard in texture. I absolutely love the vanilla zingers and this is completely unacceptable. I am always buying 2-3 boxes at a time and though this problem has never occured in the past it is an issue that has made me uncomfortable in proceeding to purchase any more of your product in the future. I am not sure what can be done to resolve this issue other than to prevent it from happening in the future.

Hostess Brands apple fruit pie

I just can not understand why every time I buy a apple fruit pie it tastes old, stale, and dry!
I think it may be because of the packaging. They now come in this cardboard box, so the pie isn't sealed correctly! WHY? Who thought this was a good idea? The worst part is I am pregnant and I always crave these apple pie cakes so every time my husband gets me one I Am Always hoping for the best BUT an always disappointed! I really need to be reimbursed with fresh apple pie cakes! I do hope this gets resolved!

I bought a Hostess Apple Fruit Pie and it was nasty. It was too sweet and I guess all the chemicals left a bad taste in my mouth. Even my opossum refused to eat it. The crust was the only good part. Maybe if you remove most of the chemicals from the recipe you'll really have an "Our BEST PIE EVER". harolddc@aol.com

Hostess Brands powdered donuts

Bought powdered donuts since i had a craving, bit into first one and all i could taste was grease. The donut wasnt greasy but it was like the donuts sat next to a fryer for a year and soaked it all in. I tried another trying to be positive as im pregnant and just wanted a powdered donut but the entire 6 pack tasted like grease in turn making me sick all day. I had a different brand in hand and switched when i saw hostess..big mistake!

It might have just been one bad container. I'm sure you could take it to the store of purchase with your receipt for a refund or replacement.

Hostess Brands hostess blueberry muffins

I opened the Hostess Blueberry Muffins. Brand new package. Not expires until March 2017.
Most of the packages were full of mold and very smelly. I have pictures to show proof. It was awful. I'm so glad my son didn't eat them.
That could have very scary.
I think you need to be notified about these kinds of errors so that other kids will not get sick. I've never seen anything like this before. Or smelt anything like that. It was so bad.

Hostess Brands deep fried twinkies

I found this product on the shelf as a display along with many other packages of deep fried twinkies at Mc Dill Air Force base commissary in Tampa, Florida today. When I got them home all of this product had mold. I had thought it was strange to see them out of the freezer section but just thought they had a product now that didn't need to be frozen. It plainly states on the box to keep frozen. I called the customer service number at the commissary and whoever I spoke with could have cared less.

Hostess Brands product fruit pies minis

I have now purchased several packages of mini pies apple and cherry my complaint is the filling inside. It is a gummy texture and chewy. I have bought Hostess products for many years. My grand children like them for after school snack but lately they say are yuck like a stale gummybear. I hope you can correct this problem I was so excited when your products came back to the stores thanks for your help.

The mini pies by hostess the filling inside is a gummy, chewy texture. A lack of flavor but the crust is just like it has always been. I have purchased several packages from different stores and they are all the same. very disappointed.

I use to eat the cherry pies every chance I got. Last week I bought some mini cherry pies for work lunches. Terribly disappointed as well, not just because they are ridiculously small for the price, but the filling tastes like old gummy filling which is awful! As of course I was waiting to take a bite if some REAL cherry pie filling. All I can say is I will Never buy this or any other Hostess product again. And I sure hope your business is at least doing something good and useful with your Profits! So sad for the name brand!

Hostess Brands new suzy q's

I purchased 2 boxes of the so called new Suzy Q snack cakes at Walmart. I was disappointed to the point of anger! How dare you call those tiny horribly dry as sand cakes a Suzy Q? Either bring them back right or don't bother trying to push this deceitful crap on us. Most of the outside of the cake came off on the cardboard strip! My 3 year old neighbor child nearly choked on them. This is a totally unacceptable comeback of Suzy Q's. All you wanted was to make them twice as cheap and a higher price. The Ding Dongs were so tiny in size. Will find other snack cakes for my family from here on!

i purchased two boxes of your "now even better tasting" SuzyQ's and the are disgusting. the cream filling, which was once the very best part of the treat, is now very thick and gross. why would you change the perfect treat?
please change it back. i will not buy them again. shame on you

My son just brought me home a package of the 2018 New Improved version of my old favorite Hostess Suzy Q's. Much Improved! Not quite as awesome as the ones that we grew up on in the 60's but pretty darn close. Not convinced about the "50% more cake" part but the cake tastes better and the shape better resembles the original ones AND there is a MUCH better ratio of creme filling between the cakes now. Thank You Hostess!

So here it is june 17, 2018 and thought I would see if you guys changed the crap you call now even better tasting! did I say crap! I wrote about these when they came back out in the stores. well nothing has changed they still taste like rubber! the cake part is so so, the cream is so rubber and thick it stinks. take these things off the shelf, they are a big disgrace to the original suzy q. for the stars if it could not show stars that would be even better. box of 6 and 5 are going to the trash, yes that's how bad they are. hostess you need to take that [censored] cream out and put in the twinkie cream that would be alright or even way better. wont buy these pieces of crap again!

Just want say thanks for the recent improvement to more cake and creme in your 6 pack. Reminds me of the way it was years ago. Now I'm back as fan of Suzy. Have you considered a further improvement like an 8 pack?

I grew up for several decades on Suzy Q's. It was the only Hostess product I ever bought or ate. Loved them.
When they went away, it was a bad day.
Now that they have tried to bring them back in an altered form, an even worse day.
Just finished one, and it will be the last I ever buy.

Whoever owns the Hostess Brand needs to address the complaints of their consumers before the brand ends up failing again.
It's a shame when a product is ruined like that.
You just lost another customer.
Looks like TastyKake will be getting 100% of my business from now on.
You could learn something from them.

I purchased a box of your suzy q's on 11/7/2016 and the best by date is 11/26/2016 and after opening the product and eating one it was hard and dry and stale. I was so disappointed in the product. I wanted to try something different I always buy the cupcakes and zingers but I will never buy the suzy q's again

Hostess Brands food

My wife purchase two bags of mini donuts, one powdered, one glazed. Both had a terrible taste, like Kerosene. Both were old tasting. Bot had ok dates. One was dated June 02, 2016, the other was dated May 20th 2016.
we ate a couple from each bag. Did not finish donuts at all. We still have bags and donuts. Not good at all and tasting terrible. We would some sort of response.

Hostess Brands their cookies were almost old

I have bought cookies from the company www.hostessbrands.com. I received two packages and was shocked that the expiry date was almost due. I emailed the seller and told that I wouldn’t happy to get almost old cookies, and I would love to get money back or change these packages for new one. But the seller told me that they wouldn’t send new order, because they haven’t had time for me and my problems. Awful attitude.

Hostess Brands out of date

I opened my Twinkie today to find a large amount of green slime inside the packaging and on the cake itself. Prior to this I ate another bar which had no problems (as far as I was aware anyway), I am utterly disgusted. I don't know whether a mishap happened with the individual bar being out of date or in the box, but it makes me feel as if one of their employees had a cold at the time of packaging. Kinda ruined twinkies for me. PS. I bought this product yesterday, in date.
