Horizon Gold / Horizon Card Services scam or not

after reading this i figured omg this is a scam so i called them to cancel and the lady i spoke too was pissed because she was trying to keep me in the service because i just got it new and i didnt check it out yet so she says. lol i kept sayin cancel my account she got so pissed that she acctually puffed lol. then she said anyways i cant cancel it for u so she connected me with another lady and also she wouldnt cancel i figured omg wow how can i not see the truth this is a scam anyways finnaly i told her i dont care about the program i dont want to check it out and just cancel my account so she said {with a low voice} ok i guess i am going to cancel ur account. she even gave me a cancelation number. i just hope i got out of this help anyone please!

Horizon Gold / Horizon Card Services false advertisment

I receintly applied for, and recieved, a Horizon Gold (so called) Credit Card.. It is not a credit card except for on their website, which in my opinion, has nothing but junk.. There wasn't one thing on their site that even interested me.. It was very misleading, and do not want this card and am demanding my money back, and do not want them taking any money from my account.. If any money is pulled from my account I will have no option but to contact aa lawyer to represent me, which I would perfer not to have to do.. Thank You.. Georgia Ressler..

Applied for this card on line thinking it was a VISA. All indications in the advertisement was that it was a VISA that could be used any where. When card was received it was a card to be used only at their store online.

people the card doesnt even have a master, or visa card logo on it, so please dont be fooled by these jerks who pray on people who are looking for a break in life and are just trying to get by, because most things that sounds to good to be true are probably is.

I received this credit card (if this is what it is) in the mail. I did not order it and do not want it. I do not know how they got my name and address.unless someone else submitted this information. I noticed a charge of $29.99 to my checking account and called my bank to find out what it is for. I was told it was a charge for a Horizon Gold credit card. As a result of this $29.99 charge my bank charged me a $34.00 fee for overdrawing my account. I would like the $29.99 fee back. Can you help me?

This is not a credit card its worthless use of plastic and the only benefit from it would be to recycle it. After scamming you out of 75 dollars if you ask to cancel it they refuse and ramble about credit reporting. They are lying thieves.

No the advertisement they sent me said nothing about merchandising it said a real credit card with a limit of 500 dollars to pay bills and such and the merchandise they are selling in the store looks cheap used home made and it's not available. So why give the hard time about refunding my account if I'm not satisfied.

Horizon Gold / Horizon Card Services hypocrites

As an ex employee that left for personal reasons only, I can't help but want to comment on what I read about the horizon gold and net trust cards from these people...

I heard the same crap from customers daily. "you stole my money!" when in reality, 95% of people signing up for the horizon gold car have credit scores of 500 which mean in reality, they all stole from other companies and never paid them back. Such irony.

All of you have crappy credit. Yet, you expect visa and master card to offer you credit cards. Do any of you know why they don't? Cause you suck at paying your bills. And more than likely you would get their credit card, charge it up and walk away just like you've done before.

No one creates bad credit for you. You do it to yourself, they you sing the woes me song... Always the victim, huh?

Get off your butts, get jobs and fix your credit (yes, pay the bills you owe) and then you will have choices other than merchant cards.

And stop being such hypocrites. Bad credit means you have riped other companies off by taking their products, services and lines of credit, used them and never paid them.

Horizon Gold / Horizon Card Services taking money off my debit card and contancely doing it without my consent

i dont know if its from a previous card or what but i believe it could be from a card that was maybe applied for but nver used or activated but i want them to quit because they are over doing it trying anythiny time they feel like it 2 and 3 times a day getting me charged for it i did not authorize them if any but maybe a one time fee of 29.95 i never look on the internet until tonite and notuced that thats what they were doing since appro. may 2009

Horizon Gold / Horizon Card Services scam/piece of #

This card is a piece of ###. The company don't help you rebuild credit at all. You can only buy there mechandise which is crap. Mostly women stuff and when I tried to get my money back they told me I couldn't get it back. Plus I think every one is being over charge. And they said they would rut a check in my account and that would be my credit limit . That was ### when I called about the check to be deposited into my account. They told me not right now. I want my money back an dif I don't get it back soonn I going to contact the BBB to furtherhandle this situation.

I just applied for the card. I thought it was a credit card. Then I found out it wasnt. I wish I had of seen this site before I did it. They took 29.95 out of my account. I called them up and told them I want my money back. Told me it would take 2 to 4 weeks. I told them it didnt take you but a second to take ot out of my account.They need to be stopped. from sherri

I have been a sales reprsentative for companies for 20 years. I became unemployed due to outsourcing last year. I applied at this company and was hired. I worked 3 days only to find out what kind of company that I was working for . I couldn't sleep, eat and I have alwys worked for companies and PAID to be truthful. Word of mouth is the best advetisement any company can have. Now I am unemployed and am appealing my unemployment because I could not find the heart to scam and mislead the poverty, elderly and poor working class to pay my wages. I'm sorry to have woked there for those 3 days. Anyone need an honest sales rep?

yes, all true. Used to work there. Ownership does nothing but take advantage of people, both customers and employees. Targets inner city, urban, poor, and credit starved. Product is worthless. Customers pay monthly fee for worthless benefits and a promise to be reported to credit bureau which rarely happens. Shopping store items are overstock junk and penny jewelry. Company makes much $$$ in recurring credit card transactions from hidden terms. Company does not even fight back much when customers call into to cancel, as their reputation with banks is borderline at best.

The mere fact that an ex-employee would take the time to get on here and explain to us the inner workings of this scam and that it cost him sleep, appetite and a morality check that after only three days he had to leave running, says so much more than just the fact that the author of the above comment is a good guy with great moral character. I want to take this time to not only thank him for his honesty but for all of the money, trouble and heart ache that he probably saved thousands of people who did their research about this obvious fraudulent company before giving away their bank account information, full names, SSN's.DOB's, mother's maiden names, etc. This is not only opening yourself up for an easy take on this company's part to access your financial institution and any or all of your funds in which you unknowingly gave them permission to do so, but it is also every piece of information anyone needs to steal your identity, which from experience, can not only wreck your credit but also wreak havoc on your life in such ways you could never even in your wildest imagination or dreams think about. Well, that is assuming you are a normal human being and not a sociopath or psychopathic with selfish and greedy ways. The thoughts, ideas and plans that reach the depths of these individuals are enough to scare a grown and well educated long time psychologist who obviously professionalizes in such type individuals. Trust me, I have had an unfortunate run in with one type individual. Greed and materialism has no morality or ANY feelings what so ever besides sefishness and the only happiness these people feel is when they have yet again scored another few hundred bucks, bank account information and discovering a nice savings account maybe from the poor unsuspecting WWII veteran living next door to you! A man that served his country putting his life on the line so that we can live in peace by the constitution of the united states without fear that when we walk out our front door to mow the lawn or wash our cars that a German, Korean, Vietnamese or an Iraqi insurgent isn't going to come at us with an AK-47 popping rounds into a suburbian un-armed man with a bucket and a bottle of Auto soap in one hand while rolling out the brand new hose to his car with the other holding a smile on his face about to begin enjoying his first weekend of retirement.
Now, I know some of you are going to feel as though I have gotten WAY off topic here when we are discussing a fraudulent, scamming, and fake credit card company but I am just writing in combination for the purpose of venting some specific frustrations I feel about how this country and it's white collar criminals can get away with so much crap like this and the people they are targeting. I think it's sad and an embarrassment to our country. How many wealthy people in suburbia or in Beverly hills received emails such as this? I doubt a single one did, because just as the gentleman was explaining, they are targeting the people in poverty, desperate and hungry, about to have the electricity cut off with small children in the house.
Also, and I will leave it at this. According and due to the company's OWN statements in their "terms and conditions" section that these cards do not have VISA or MASTERCARD logos on them but on the very front page of their advertisement that is sent via email shows in a few different places including on the cards themselves, both the VISA and MASTERCARD logos! Somoeone needs to shut these guys down!

i don't know what this service is but i do know that you keep charging my card and I did not authorize this because I have never even heard of horizon card services so i would appreciate if you would refund my money to my account or do i need to contact headquaters of your services because some type of fradulant activity is occuring.

Horizon Gold / Horizon Card Services dishonest

Do not order the horizon gold card, merit platinum card or the net trust card! This is a fraud! It is not a visa or mastercard and they do not report to the credit agencies as they state they do. If you sign up for this card, you have to call customer service and get a speech about the card then you have to be transferred to a "supervisor" who will try to talk you into keeping it and only give you a partial refund. This company is listed on the bbb website as unsatisfactory!

A month ago I log on too ther website. They approve me. But they also took the $29.95 from my checking account. And still no card! Not a very happy person. And there no number in there website to call customer services. Too speak with a live person!

These Companies are all scams, I don't understand why people don't get it. If they ask you for a fee to get a card or a fee for information, a fee for college money, a fee to get a job. ALL scams. This information is free from the companies who are not scamers. They want to sell you a book or a secret for a fee how they make a lot of money. Well, they make the money from people who don't know any better, Beware of any one who ask for money up front. That's the first sign of fraud. Its free, than ask for a credit card number so next month they can charge your card. FREE is FREE and they don't need a card number if its free.

Called to cancel the Horizon Card that I received in 2007 when I saw it was still open on my credit report with $500 limit, I never activated card. When I called the lady informed me a 24.95 monthly fee charge, which I didn't know I thought you had to activate the card first, which I did not. She informed me that she was increasing limit to 1, 000.00 and will send me the link to my email because I threw the card away 7 years ago. What do I do? I don't want negative remarks on my credit report for something I never used nor activated.

Cancellation and Refund Policy: Cancellation and Refund requests can be made within 30 days of your purchase by calling Member Services at [protected], Monday 9:00 am - 8:00 pm, Tuesday from 9:00 am - 7 pm, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 am - 5:30 pm, Friday from 9 am - 8 pm and Saturdays from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm EST. If Horizon Card Services™ approves your application; you will receive an e-mail confirming your application approval and your associated username and password information ('Login') information. Once you receive this Login information, you may make immediate use of the Service.

Disclosure of Costs, Fees, and Rates:

Creditor: Horizon Card Services

Amount financed and itemization: Equal to the value of the Account holder's open balance.

Shipping: Additional shipping and handling costs may apply depending on customer's location. It is the customer's responsibility to insure that the address provided is an address that can accept delivery of merchandise. The Horizon Outlet is not responsible for returned shipments due to non-deliverability for any reason. Items subsequently requiring re-shipment will be re-charged the original shipping fee, plus any applicable handling fees.

Payment schedule: The payment schedule will vary depending upon the purchase cost of all goods purchased by the Account holder and the amount and frequency of payments. Account holder is required to make a specified minimum payment each month (in most cases, 5% of the outstanding balance) by auto-debit.

Processing Fees: Varies per item purchased.

Outlet Store Delivery Signature Verification: $2.50

Outlet Store Residential Delivery: $2.00

Total of payments: Equal to the purchase cost of all goods purchased by the Account Holder.

Total sale price: Equal to the purchase cost of all goods purchased by the Account Holder.

Prepayment: No penalties for prepayment.

One time Card Issuance and Account Validation fee: $5.00

Fee for returned checks or debits, second NSF: $25.00

Monthly maintenance fee: $6.00 (This fee is waived to all active Horizon Card Services members).

Shipping and processing fees are required to be paid in full by customer prior to items being shipped. A $2.50 charge will be added to for shipment signature verification. Shipping and processing fees are non-refundable. Orders cannot be shipped to addresses other than what is listed on the customer's account. By purchasing items from The Horizon Outlet, customer fully understands and agrees to all policies. The Horizon Outlet will replace defective item(s) only at no charge to customer. (Less shipping and processing). The merchandise must be defective upon customer receiving it. The Horizon Outlet has the right to refuse refunds if the customer changes his/her mind and it is determined that the customer has caused the damage to the item(s). Horizon Card Services reserves the right to limit item quantities per order and all orders are subject to quantity restrictions.

ACH Debits: If any Automated Clearing House ('ACH') or Remotely Created Check ('RCC') debit request for a fee associated with your Account is returned due to non-sufficient funds available in your bank account, Horizon Card Services™ may attempt to collect the applicable fee by automatically resubmitting to your bank subsequent ACH or RCC debits. Any subsequent debit attempts by Horizon Card Services™ will not exceed the original fee amount. Furthermore, you understand and agree that if Horizon Card Services™ is unable to obtain payment from your bank, Horizon Card Services™ reserves the right to immediately terminate your Account or reduce your available credit until a consistent payment history has been established.

Credit Bureau Reporting: Horizon Card Services™ will report your new Horizon Card Services/Horizon Outlet Account to at least one major credit bureau upon receiving positive confirmation of your identity. In order to confirm your identity, you may be required to send Horizon Card Services™ a photocopy of your social security card. The Horizon Card Services Account does not guarantee aid in building or re-building credit, or to the posting of any positive references to any credit report. Due to circumstance beyond our control, it may take up to 60 days for your Horizon Card Servcies information to appear on your credit report.

Purchases and Monthly Billing: You will be electronically billed monthly for the minimum payment due on your Horizon Card Services account. For ease and convenience, our E-Bill feature is designed to send invoices to the email address we have on file for each monthly billing cycle. All balances due will be billed through our monthly auto debit process. Only account holders that are in good standing may make purchases at the Website and receive additional account holder’s benefits. On occasion, a product or products that you order may be out of stock from our suppliers. In that event, all pre-paid funds, for your convenience, will be automatically applied as a credit to your Horizon Card Services account.

Your Promise to Pay: You agree to pay the minimum payment due shown on each monthly electronic bill/paper statement. All payments must be available (or received) on the auto debit date indicated on the electronic bill/paper statement. Horizon Card Services account holders are responsible for maintaining a valid email address on their account.

Application of Payments Received: Payments received are always applied to any unpaid balance. Payments are applied toward purchases in the same order that they were made, older purchases first. Minimum Monthly Payment: The automatic minimum monthly payment for any given month (as long as your account shows an outstanding balance) is the greater of: a) 5% of the account balance owed immediately following any purchase made to your account; or b) $10.00.

The minimum monthly payment does not automatically decrease as your account balance decreases. Notwithstanding the foregoing, should your new balance be less than $10.00, the minimum payment due will be the total amount of the new balance. Account holder is required to make a specified minimum payment each month (in most cases, 5% of the outstanding balance) by auto-debit.

Default: Your Account will be considered in default status if: a) you fail to pay the minimum monthly payment when due; or b) you breach any of the terms and conditions of this Agreement. If your Account is in default, in compliance with applicable law, Horizon Card Services™ may: a) demand that you immediately pay the entire unpaid balance on your Account; b) apply monies received on subsequent purchases to any delinquent account balance owed; and/or c) proceed with legal action to collect any unpaid amounts.

Horizon Card Services™ Membership : As a Horizon Card Services™ Member and Horizon Card Services card holder, You will receive privileges in My PRIVACY PROTECT, MY UNIVERSAL RX Prescription Discount Plan, MY LEGAL ASSISTANCE and MY ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE Plan. Use of My Privacy Protection account requires activation. Upon activation with Horizon Card Services™, you are bound by the User Agreement provided at the enrollment site.

Plan Limitations and Restrictions: Access to member benefits are restricted to only the member on file of an active account. Should you wish to add additional family members to your plan, please contact customer service for pricing. Fraudulent use and access of benefits constitutes theft and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Horizon Card Services™ has the right to temporarily suspend or cancel member plans that have the appearance of fraudulent use. It is your responsibility to know your plan limitations. Upon reaching all or any single plan inclusion program limit within a 12-month period, access will be denied.

My Privacy Protection - Unlimited Internet access. To activate your account and view your credit report, visit www.membersbenefitaccess.com and log into your account using the account issued to you upon approval of your membership.

My Universal Rx - Unlimited local participating pharmacy access. Member’s receive up to 40% off of covered prescription medications. Check website for selected medications and changes.

My Roadside Protection - Up to 3 service calls or towing requests up to 15 miles not to exceed the operator cost of $50.00. Additional mileage and associated towing costs will be your responsibility to pay at the time of service. No more that one towing or service call is covered within a 120 day period and no more than 3 total service calls within any 12 month period. Service calls include Fluid delivery (up to 5 gallons of fuel which you must re-pay at the current pump price for you area), Lock out service and flat tire change service with the spare tire that you provide. This service is not to be used for accident vehicle recovery therefore there is no benefit coverage.

My Legal Assistance - Toll free and Internet access to Legal resources. Criminal defense cases are not covered under this plan. Your plan entitles you to one free 30-minute consultation with a legal professional in your area specializing in your area of law interest.

Courtesy Programs - My Fuel Savings and other programs that are currently offered to our member base are done so as convenience and courtesy items only. Horizon Card Services™ makes no warranty or guarantee of these services and they are subject to change or discontinuation at any time.

Fraud Resolution: As a matter of policy, we cooperate fully with all law enforcement agencies in the pursuit of fraud, with regard to the unauthorized use of information in order to apply for this membership. If you believe your account was fraudulently charged for the application and processing fee, we will make every effort to aid in a resolution. Before we can take any action, please fax or mail a copy of the official report filed with your local Police or law enforcement agency detailing the suspected fraudulent act and also a copy of the portion of your account statement showing the date and amount of the withdrawal. Please allow us 2 weeks for resolution after we receive the report and statement. Fax: [protected]

Good Standing Requirement: You understand that you must maintain your Account in good standing by making at least the minimum monthly payments on time and accurate account and personal information. If your Account is in default status, you understand that your Account privileges and benefits may be suspended and/or terminated until you have re-established a consistent pattern of on-time monthly minimum payments.

3. Authorized Use: The Website and Service are available only to individuals who can enter into legally binding contracts under applicable law. However, if you are under the age of 18, you do not have authorization to access or use the Website and/or Service in any manner whatsoever. If you are a Website visitor ('Visitor'), you may use the Website in order to obtain information about Horizon Card Services™ and the Service and to apply for a Horizon Card Services account ('Account'). Visitors are not authorized to access any content and/or data available to those individuals that are Account holders. In addition, to apply for and obtain an Account, you must be at least 18 years old and have a valid and active U.S. checking or savings bank account.

4. License Grant: As a Visitor to the Website or an Account holder, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable and limited license to access and use the Website (and its associated content), the Service and/or an Account in accordance with this Agreement. Horizon Card Services™ may terminate this license at any time for any reason. You may use the Website on one computer for your own personal, non-commercial use. No part of the Website, the Service and/or an Account may be reproduced in any form or incorporated into any information retrieval system, electronic or mechanical. You may not use, copy, emulate, clone, rent, lease, sell, modify, decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer or transfer the Website (and its associated content), the Service, your Account and/or any portion thereof. Horizon Card Services™ reserves any rights not explicitly granted in this Agreement. You may not use any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Website, the Service and/or your Account. You may not take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on the Horizon Card Services™ infrastructure.

Your right to use the Website, the Service and/or your Account including, without limitation, your Login, is non-transferable. Access to, and use of, your Account and the Service is made through your Login information. Your Login must be kept strictly confidential. For security reasons, Horizon Card Services™ will not release passwords for any reason, other than to the applicable Account holder, except as may be specifically required by law or court order. Unauthorized access to the Website, the Service and/or an Account is a breach of this Agreement and a violation of applicable law.

5. Proprietary Rights: The content, organization, graphics, design, compilation, magnetic translation, digital conversion, software and other matters related to the Website, the Service and/or your Account are protected under applicable copyrights, trademarks and other proprietary (including, without limitation, intellectual property) rights. The copying, redistribution and/or publication by you of any part of the Website, the Service and/or your Account are strictly prohibited. You do not acquire ownership rights to any content, document, software, service or other materials viewed at or through the Website, the Service and/or your Account. The posting of information or material at the Website and Service by Horizon Card Services™ does not constitute a waiver of any right in such information and/or materials.

6. Privacy Policy: Use of the Website, the Service and/or your Account is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is hereby incorporated into, and made part of, this Agreement. We reserve the right, and you authorize us, to use and assign all information regarding your Website, Service and Account use, and any and all other personal information provided by you, in any manner consistent with our Privacy Policy, which is hereby made a part of this Agreement.

7. Editing, Deleting and Modification: We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to edit and/or delete any documents, information or other content appearing on the Website, the Service and/or your Account at anytime, without notice to you.

8. Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend and hold Horizon Card Services™, its owners, and each of their respective officers, partners, members, employees, agents and attorneys (each a 'Covered Party'), harmless against any and all liabilities, claims, actions, suits, proceedings, judgments, fines, damages, costs, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees, administrative costs and/or settlement costs) arising from your breach of this Agreement and/or your use of the Website, the Service and/or your Account, in any manner whatsoever.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations: THE WEBSITE, THE SERVICE, YOUR ACCOUNT AND ANY MERCHANDISE OBTAINED THROUGH THE SERVICE ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS” AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS AND ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, ARE DISCLAIMED (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE DISCLAIMER OF ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND/OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE). THE WEBSITE, THE SERVICE, YOUR ACCOUNT AND ANY MERCHANDISE OBTAINED THROUGH THE SERVICE MAY CONTAIN BUGS, ERRORS, PROBLEMS OR OTHER LIMITATIONS. IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT AS A LIMITATION THEREOF, Horizon Card SERVICES™ AND THE COVERED PARTIES ARE NOT LIABLE TO YOU AND/OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOSS OF PROFITS, LITIGATION, OR THE LIKE), WHETHER BASED ON BREACH OF CONTRACT, BREACH OF WARRANTY, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), PRODUCT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THE NEGATION OF DAMAGES SET FORTH ABOVE IS A FUNDAMENTAL ELEMENT OF THE BASIS OF THE BARGAIN BETWEEN HORIZON CARD SERVICES™ AND YOU. THE WEBSITE, THE SERVICE, YOUR ACCOUNT AND ANY MERCHANDISE OBTAINED THROUGH THE SERVICE WOULD NOT BE PROVIDED TO YOU WITHOUT SUCH LIMITATIONS. Because Horizon Card Services™ has no control over such third party websites and/or resources, you hereby acknowledge and agree that Horizon Card Services™ is not responsible for the availability of such third party websites and/or resources. Furthermore, Horizon Card Services™ does not endorse, and is not responsible or liable for, any terms and conditions, privacy policies, content, advertising, products and/or other materials at or available from such third party websites or resources, or for any damages and/or losses arising there from.

11. ARBITRATION. PLEASE READ THIS PROVISION CAREFULLY. IT PROVIDES THAT ANY DISPUTE MAY BE RESOLVED BY BINDING ARBITRATION. ARBITRATION REPLACES THE RIGHT TO GO TO COURT, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO BRING OR PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION OR SIMILAR PROCEEDING. IN ARBITRATION, A DISPUTE IS RESOLVED BY AN ARBITRATOR INSTEAD OF A JUDGE OR JURY. THE ARBITRATOR'S DECISION WILL GENERALLY BE FINAL AND BINDING. Any Claim regarding the validity or enforceability of this arbitration provision shall be governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania without giving effect to the choice of law provisions thereof. This arbitration provision is made pursuant to a transaction involving interstate commerce and, in all other respects, including the determination of any questions about whether Claims are within the scope of this arbitration provision and therefore subject to arbitration shall be governed by the Federal Arbitration Act, 9 U.S.C. § 1-16 ("FAA"), and shall be resolved by interpreting the arbitration provision in the broadest way the law will allow it to be construed. All Claims are subject to arbitration, no matter what theory they are based on or what remedy they seek. The arbitration provision shall survive termination of Your membership as well as voluntary payment of the debt in full by You or any bankruptcy by You. IF YOU DO NOT CHOOSE TO ACCEPT THIS BINDING ARBITRATION PROVISION, YOU MUST NOTIFY US IN WRITING BY REGISTERED MAIL WITHIN TWENTY (20) DAYS AFTER RECEIPT OF THIS "TERMS OF SITE USE." Equipment: You shall be responsible for obtaining and maintaining all telephone, computer hardware and any other equipment needed to access and/or use the Website, the Service and/or your Account, as well as any and all charges related thereto. Horizon Card Services account holders are responsible for maintaining a valid email address on or for their account.

13. Miscellaneous: This Agreement shall be treated as though it were executed and performed in Indiana, Pennsylvania, and shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Pennsylvania (without regard to conflict of law principles). Should a dispute arise concerning the terms and conditions of this Agreement, or the breach of same by either party hereto, the parties agree to submit their dispute for resolution by arbitration before the American Arbitration Association in Washington, DC, in accordance with the then current Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association. Any award rendered shall be final and conclusive to the parties and a judgment thereon may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. Nothing herein shall be construed to preclude any party from seeking injunctive relief in order to protect its rights pending an outcome in arbitration. Should any part of this Agreement be held invalid or unenforceable, that portion shall be construed consistent with applicable law and the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect. To the extent that anything in or associated with the Website, the Service and/or your Account is in conflict or inconsistent with this Agreement, this Agreement shall take precedence. Our failure to enforce any provision of this Agreement shall not be deemed a waiver of such provision nor of the right to enforce such provision. The parties do not intend that any agency or partnership relationship be created through operation of this Agreement. In order to expedite fulfillment of the product to the customer, we reserve the right to substitute another merchandise charge card of equal or greater value.

14. Acknowledgements: I certify that I have read, understand and fully agree to all the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement. I certify that all the Application Data I supplied to Horizon Card Services™ is true, accurate and verifiable. The information concerning costs and fees associated with my Account is accurate as of March 4, 2008. I understand that these costs and fees, and any other term associated with my Account, may change at anytime, in the sole discretion of Horizon Card Services™. I understand that my only recourse to any changes in terms is the cancellation of my Account in accordance with this Agreement.

Horizon Gold / Horizon Card Services fraudulent authorization for appoval for account

I did not aurthorize the use of this account. I have receieved in the mail a card that I did not order. I would like for this to stop and refund the funds they withdrew and the over draft that took my account into negative. I am pursusing this through my attorney!
This is fraudulent! Please tell me how to handle this before my business fall apart. I just got dismissed from bankruptcy and have a handicapp son. I do not except this ingnorance and will not tolerate it!
Thank you for allowing me to express my feelings but, "where do I go from here until my attorney can take them to court?" I have a son that had a two percent chance to live I don't need this!

Horizon Gold / Horizon Card Services feel like i've been scammed

Hell, I cant even access a catalog to even use the card..Theres not even a link directing you to the catalog or whatever products they claim they have available..I was scammed into applying for the card thinking it was an actual line of credit and now I feel so stupid because I realize I never noticed a visa or mastercard logo to begin with. It is a scam scam scam and like everyone else has complained, they should bring some attention to this matter immediately.And whoever is allowing them to operate online should be held accountable as well. Theres no excuse to justify this, just plain crooked is all i can say.

Horizon Gold / Horizon Card Services money taken from my bank accoun

Some how they took $29.95 out of my bank? No, I don't have there credit card. Plus, I don't have there phone #. I looked them up on the internet, but it kept taken me to horizon gold card, so I filled their application out, but they kept saying I already had their credit card, but I don't have their card. So,, how am I going to get my money back? If I could get their phone#I could call them myself and find out why they took money out? So, can you help me? i havent gotten the card, but i tried calling them today to cancel and they gave me some [censor]. They offered to increase my limit from $500 to $1500 and that the first $100 i spent would be credited and I wouldnt have to pay that. Now that Ive read these I dont want [censor] from them. They did mention its a online card, but, they also said it had free road side assistance and prescription would be discounted and some other [censor]. I CANT BELIEVE THESE PEOPLE! im calling them first thing in the a.m... which is only 6 hours from now and I am canceling this scam. They better give me my money back. I got 3 kids, and yea if it aint a credit card or worth the money being taken from my card then [censor] no! Thanks people. I am glad I read these before the so called came in.

Horizon Gold / Horizon Card Services not what was told

Hello, I was asking to get a credit card i could use not online and from what they told me or not told me was it was only for use online.
Not good sales when all i wanted was a card to use for emergencies.
Now your company needs to put the money of 29.95 dollars back in my account.
You have the information to do that so please return to my bank account please ASAP!

please send me my money back it was not right that u guys took 29.95 out of my bank account n did not explain that u can not use the card outside of that internet, , , do u really belive people will buy a card that they can only use online... lets b real here send me my money or i will take further action...

Horizon Gold / Horizon Card Services cannot cancel card

I received a card after paying for it. I never used the card because you had to get their products which were junk. I have tried numerous times to cancel because they keep charging my bank a monthly fee when I threw the card away. What can I do about this?

I got a horizon gold card in the mail. And myself being a single working mother of 3 with no credit it seemed like a good idea. I went onto the site and started looking. I entered the horizon gold card number but it said to enter my card number. Which I didn't and never do ever online. So I left the site. A couple days later I called my pay card and I was -$30.00! So I calls to find out how/why . And they said horizon gold charged my account! 1st how did they get my card number because I NEVER ENTERED IT! And wen I tried to contact them the phone just made this strange noise. So I had to cancel my card and dispute the transaction. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH HORIZON GOLD!

I receive this credit card and is not visa or master card so something was wrong ...they didn't said it was for online ...so i was mad. i try to cancel but no ...so what should i do ?"confuse?.

I've been fighting this company since December and they are not backing down they are now taking money out of an account I closed the bank without permission reopened the account to let them. If anyone can help please email me at alexdixon69771@yahoo.com they told me twice now that even though I didn't finish the application that they submitted it for me isn't that illegal?

You will not, and cannot take money out of my bank, I never activated this account, and never will.! Why is it you, think you can take advantage of hard working americans, and not pay for the consequences, Oh, you will, and I see one deduction from my bank account from you, you dont only have to deal with me, you will have to deal with my bank, I bank with a good bank, and they do look into frauds, like yourselves, , so you wanna play, YOU ARE GONNA PAY.! So, the choice is yours, my advice to you is get while the getting is good, there will be a class action lawsuit against you, I have read the comments about you losers, and we will unite, and we will beat you into the peices of ### you are, oh, and take what is ours and yours...So do not f**k with me, because we the people the general public, are tired being taking for granted by people like you, And if you think I am kidding, read your reviews, It it is time we take we take the power back from the scams like you.

I've been trying to get this card canceled. I never sent for it and didn't authorize my card to charge it to my card. I never recieved card, don't want it. And want the $29.95 back on my card and then canceling my debit/credit card permanently.

I cancelled my card(within days of applying for it) and paying the 29.95 fee. I have a cancellation number and the 29.95 will be put back onto my Credit Card within 7-10 days. I just called [protected]

Horizon Gold / Horizon Card Services money taken out of my account.

I was charged for a feature that I did not order or want. Plus their reguler monthly charge for a the card that can only be used at there outlet store on line. They have a very limited selction at the store & it is not of interest to me. It is not the type of card that I thought it was. Please Help Me Get my money back!

I bought into this card and it is not at all what it was advertised to be...thought it was a regular credit card not one linked to a shopping outlet on line. Useless! Will be sending back immediately for refund of monthly fee and set up charges. Don't waste your time!

I applied for the horizon credit card not knowing they were gonna takemy money off my card. I called them and asked a lot of question and told them I wanted to cancell the card because it wasn't.what. I expected they switched me to a lady claiming to be a supervisor or something but anyways I told her that ill look into it and call back tommorow and if I don't like what I see I want to cancell well needless to say they try to give me more money so it looks like I'll be cancelling this card and any ties that they might have to my bank or my card! Thanks for the advice!

hgc, took advantage of me, now i can't get intouch with them pl ease someone help me to a refund, I'am going to change my bank account so they can't steal from me anymore, took out 29.95 . plus i don't like to be lied to taken advantage of not a rich person, everyone needs their money, everybit. take that post-card and thrown in the trashcan for you get rip-off . Can't use it anywhere no exiper day or a code. thank.

These people has misleading ads posted.Their items are not worthe buying.They have posted this site of nothing but fruad.I will allow them to keep that $28 they took off my master-card.My God says forgive your debtors and your debts shall be forgive, But I say this.I am a single mother of two in hopes of doing business with someone thruthful.They deceived me along with others.If 500, 000 people responded to their site.They became instant millionairs.I canceled my credit card tht they took the fund from, and I pray that God has mercy on their souls.I heard a camel with a hump on his back could walk through an eye of a needle before a rich man makes it to Heaven.Those workers of iniquity at vorizon gold needs prayer.

Horizon Gold / Horizon Card Services never received card

They never asked me for any money, of course I haven't done any shopping yet either. They were very helpful in giving me my account number so I could go ahead and shop. When I had problems logging on to their site, a girl in customer service stayed on the phone with me for over an hour untill we got it right. AOL doesn't
work, you have to use mozilla firefox, or internet explorer, google doesn't work either.
They even called me a couple of timeslater in the week to make sure that I wasn't having any more problems.
