I am trying to obtain a refund for a cancelled flight. I have called several times with no updates. All I've been told is that the company hasn't got back to us.
Its been more than 2 weeks and I have no idea how much longer this can take. Customers are not valued here. A simple phone call or an update would be nice. This company is completely irresponsible and has the worst customer service.

Dear Hop2,
I would like to express my most sincere disappointment with your company.
I bought flight tickets back in early November. Reservation number H089AC3. Already during the first 24 hours, I was almost scammed because when they confirmed my flight over the phone, the suitcases that appeared on my ticket, had suddenly disappeared (Reservation number HD4B68A). I called them right away that day within the 24 first hours still and after talking with different people, I was truly satisfied with the service and with the treatment.
Unfortunately, some weeks after, I had an incomprehensible event with immigration - that on the words of an immigration lawyer was totally illegal and inhumane - and the resolution was that I had to leave the country earlier. I am a student, so my economies are really tight and that event could be a problem due to some flight company policies, but I trusted Hop2 and my previous satisfaction with them to make this event not as hard as it seemed.
I called hop2 a couple of days after this even happened, with almost 20 days ahead to fix this problem of changing the tickets to an earlier date - liberating a ticket on December 22nd who could have been profited by someone else. On these Christmas days, tickets sell very easily. I had to leave by Dec. 14th and couldn't take the flight on the 22nd anymore. I talked to hop2 in three or four different occasions. The change of ticket was between $1400 to $900. Never less money than that. I had already paid $900 for the tickets in the first place and didn't have that extra $900 to change them. I tried to explain my situation. And how I actually never intended or wanted to be asking that. So I asked for a cancellation- missing not only my flight on Dec. 22nd but also the one MAD - JFK on April, 15, 2020 which I still wanted to keep. That cancellation meant a reimbursement of $99 - a lose of 91%! - but before, I tried to be in touch with the person that helped me the most during those first 24h of my booking back in early November.
I talked to him on the phone and he thought that it was cheaper to buy a new flight and get those $99. But still I was never gonna be able to take my flight back on April, 15th 2020. I replied to his email asking if there was a way to still be able to take that second flight. No reply. I followed up. No reply.
The day of the flight, and after being in numerous occasions in touch with you guys and with American Airlines (the company I was flying with), I found myself getting a reimbursement of simply $49. Simply because I was waiting on the numerous calls and emails I had previously sent them. What a shame from you!
What a disappointing, unbelievable, unsupportive and simply disastrous way of ending up this year. Thank you... I wish I had never gave so much of my money to such a selfish company, to hop2, in the first place. I feel scammed from a heartless company.

air ticket scam
This company is a total scam. I bought 2 transatlantic economy tickets with them. A few days later I contacted the airline so I could get my seat assignments and provide additional information. Once I did that the airline showed that my ticket was a basic economy ticket! I called the airline and they said that as I bought this with a third party website that I had to contact them directly. So I did, and after talking to a few different outsourced customer service agents and got nowhere. Next day I called again, this time the agent told me that I could cancel my flight and get refunded and that I would have the choice to rebook a new flight. I decided to go with the refund, and then she told me that I couldn't get a refund! Then after begging to speak with a manager I was transferred to Nora and she told me that I should buy the luggage and then I would get a refund afterwards. This solution doesn't satisfies my complaint. At the moment I'm working with my bank and other agencies to get a refund and to do official complaints.
Was provided Hop2 through Skyscanner. Began processing tickets at a specified price (both fare and fees specified). When I got to the point of confirming the purchase, the total increased ~50% with both fare and fees changing! UNBELIEVABLE! Blatant fraud. Glad I was paying attention and cancelled the order. Hoping they don't scam my credit card information.

I recently purchased 3 airline tickets from Sacramento, CA to Edinburgh, Scotland. My confirmation number is NUBWNF. You assigned all three passenger birth dates incorrectly. Please recheck this and make absolutely certain that you correct all of these birth dates! I do NOT wish to have ANY discrepancy when we are actually at the airport. high rates
If you see their advertisement - don't believe it. Don't believe their low rates, they always charge more.
I was very surprised when instead of one hundred fifty dollars I was charged one hundred more. I called them to straighten things out and they said that everything is ok, just while I was filling out the forms the prices got higher and I was charged the difference.
How fair is that? Judging by the reviews I am not the only one who was cheated by these fraudsters. Shame on you for caring nothing about your customers.
I will never purchase from them again. And don't recommend you to do it either.
They are fraudsters, people. Run away.
Look at their prices. Too low to be true. You realize it after they take your money. Look how it works: you see the low price, think that it would be nice to buy this, order and ... they charge you the real price, the actual one, They refused to help trying to get me their stupid credit and a 5% discount. Who the hell uses this crap?
So please people be careful and smarter and never order from places that cannot be trusted.

Highly unprofessional
I cancelled two tickets and they refunded only one. I contacted Hop2 many times and reminded them they still had to refund me the cost of one ticket and every time they said they were working on it. I'm still waiting them to refund me. I'm glad I received a partial refund but I would like to have the entire amount back. I doubt that I'll ever use Hop2 again. In my opinion these guys are highly unprofessional. I have no idea why does it take so long to refund me.

Incorrectly booked outbound flight with 12hr layover. Stayed online to correct it immediately. The rep ask me to rebook. Which I did. Transferred me to another agent who then said there is a $50 cancellation fee for the previous booking. No common sense or customer service.
