Hoodia Plex Labs/HOODIA STACK / Continued charges after asking it not be sent!!

NH, United States Review updated:

I ordered a FREE sample of the product and returned it when I noticed it was not what I was looking for. I have continued to receive new bottles of the stuff for about $50 dollars a month. This after writing the company via certified mail requesting they no longer send any more bottles and returning what I already had. I am going to have to close the charge card because they will only take a "disputed charge" complaint but will not stop the charges to my account.

I just checked my bank account and saw tht $69.95 was taken. I paid for the shipping and handling of the so called "FREE" Sample. According to the representative I was suppose to have called in 14 days if I didn't want to continue receiving the product. They REFUSE to give me my money back and I now have to fight it out with my bank's help. I learned a VERY expensive lesson. I am mad at myself that I fell for this SCAM.

I also fell prey to these Aholes! I got ripped for 49.95 out of my checking acct. I have online banking and found the phone # for customer service . For anyone out there needing this...800-277-1597. I called and they cancelled future shipments. Guess I will be reading the fine print from now on! LOL!

Beware! I responded to an offer for a sample of Hoodia stack which I did receive and was charged a minimal amount. Now they are charging to my credit card $49.95, totally unauthorized. Call your card company and their fraud division will help you to stop these charges. Hoodia stack is not answering their phone number which is 1-800-277-1597. Good Luck!b

I also received Hoodia I had not asked for and called the above cited number to complain. He told me that I had agreed to terms allowing automatic shipment when I first requested the Hoodia. But I told him that they are charging two to three times the cost in the pharmacies, and I wanted another bottle. He agreed and took me off the list. The stuff is great, but not at those prices. Try it!

Same comment as above. I got a 10 day "Free" sample...then the monthly shipments started arriving. I went to the return address on the mailers; guess what, bogus address and they had never heard of Hoodia. Could not find an address or phone number to cancel. Got the charges taken off my credit card and they supplied me with the following numbers for HOODIA 800-597-8514, 800-277-1597, and 877-492-9036. This is a fine print scam of the highest order.

The people at Hoodia Stack took care of me. I got everything done quickly without hassle. However I READ THE FINE PRINT. I was aware they were going to charge me. I received another month supply and then cancelled because I was about to reach my weight loss goals and wanted to get a little extra boost. I didn't need more product. Hoodia Stack worked great for me. I would pay for it again if I needed it. Good luck in finding something that works for you.

I have had the same problem. They are truly a scam! My account has been deducted $69.95, plus $1.40 for International Transaction Fee of 2% of $69.95.

I only requested the free sample, but they continue to send me Hoodia and charge my account.

I ordered a FREE sample of the product and returned it when I noticed it was not what I was looking for as well. I have not received any more items but have a $69.95 charge pending on my account. I've sent a written notice and have attempted to call the number associated with the charge on my bank account, but have not received satisfactory service. I have requested that this charge not be paid by my bank and I will be filing the formal paper work with my bank on the next business day for fraud on this account. It saddens me that people get your information and use it to scam you.

I too was scammed by the "Free" sample. The next thing I know, there's a charge for $69.95 on my card. They won't refund it and I guess I'll have to close my card out so that no more charges are made. Why do people in the great country of America have to put up with this kind of stuff?

I strongly agree that this is a ripoff. How stupid could I have been for falling for this. Now I have to go thru the hassle of going to the post office having it sent back with a return receipt requested. Then my credit card company will fight for the charges to be taken off. I also talked with a customer servie rep at Hoodia Stack and she said that they never got my cancelation but she would cancel my order right now and gave me a cancelation number . Then she had the nerve to tell me that the would only refund half of the $69.95 that was charged to my credit card. I told her now way. I wanted the whole charge taken off. They are getting their product back. So, I shouldn't have to pay for half of it. SCAM< SCAM>SCAM> I will be telling everyone I know about this one. From learning experience. Never trust a free sample for anything. I won't ever again. Dissatisfied.

If you ordered a free sample of HoodiaCut (the company who makes the diet supplements is Hoodia Stack), you have 10 DAYS from the day you order to CANCEL further shipments of Hoodia Stack diet supplements. However, most people do not know they will be sending more than just the sample. It is in small print and you just have to call them and always ask "What is the catch?" Meaning do I have to order anything to get my free sample. I called them at this number 877-492-9036 and asked them what their catch was and they told me they will be sending me more shipments each month for $69.95. To make a long story short, I told them I ONLY WANT the sample and no more supplements and they had me call back the next day and cancel. The next day I called and got a cancellation number and I wrote down the time, date and who I spoke with just in case they charge my credit card.
Credit Card companies are usually on your side if you have all this valuable information.
Good Luck !!

That plus several hours tryin to get someone at that horrible scam company thats advertised all over the place. I hope they are put out of business. Thanks M. Howard

I to just checked my bank account and saw that $67.49 had been taken out of my account. I paid for the shipping and handling of the so called "FREE" Sample. I received the same in the mail empty. So I wrote the address in Plano, Texas and asked what they were going to do about it enclosing the envelope empty and marked by the postal system. There were NO instructions enclosed - there was NO fine print to read! So now I have to contact them and know from what i have read here they won't do anything. I will be contacting my bank and cancelling any other draft from them and see if they can help me. I am furious and the worse part... IT DIDN'T EVEN WORK. I have learned a VERY expensive lesson and I am very angry at them _ they are a SCAM.

I did the same thing as everyone else here. I paid 4.95 for shipping & after the second day i threw the pills in the garbage! It's all BS & after 3 weeks we got our bank statement saying they took the additional $69.95 from our account. When I called the customer service #, I reached the same girl 5 times lol, she was really rude & said they would NOT refund my money . I called my bank & told them to shut my card down & I filed a Fraudulent withdraw on my account. My money was refunded within 30 days . They investigated it & still working on finding out who these idiots are . CALL YOU'RE BANK PEOPLE, send them a copy of all their web sites & these forums here staeting its a fraud. You'll get you're money back.

You guys really need to look into " Phentermine " I lost 35 pounds in 4 months . No this is not spam either, just don't order it off the internet lol . You can ask you're dr for it find a " Jorie weight lose center. I paid $ 55 for the 1st visit + the 30 day supply of pills & the vitamin B12 shot, The following month I went up on the dose & I paid $75 for the visit + tabs + shot. It really is great if you're serious about losing the weight . It's not a magic pill ( I don't think there's one out there ), you have to change you're diet & be active =) Check into it, it really is working for me .

I too fell for this scam. I did not see any fine print or where to look for it. So far I am spared for the moment. The credit card I used was at it's limit so the future charge of $69.95 was declined. I have not recieved any products from them either. My first opportunity I will call these phone numbers and cancel any future issues. Wish me luck.

I too am an idiot... Got the product last week, got the $69.95 charge on my bank statement today, I canceled my card and will get a new one, I did not read the "fine" print, but also did not get the "14 days" to call to cancel. The one is at HoodiaStack.com phone number is 877-492-9036.. I wonder if I will get the 30 day supply of the product I didn't want. so far have not...
