Seller stated that she had pugs for sale for $400 dollars. She stated her name was Coutney Tipton using Zelle for $200 deposit which I sent to email name [protected]@gmail.com and using telephone number [protected] supposedly out of Macon, GA but it is a text mail subscriber number. Stated she usually holds dogs till 10 weeks but will release to me on Dec. 24th if it's a Christmas gift. Very responsive to questions, sent several pictures. I asked if I could come see pups and she said yes after they had second set of shot. She received money, responded she
did willl be updating with pictures. That was 2 weeks ago and I haven't been able to contact or get response since then.

I wish we could ...I think even the information she may have registered on hobbly with may be fake. I wonder though why hobbly hasn't stepped in to help. There has to be a bank that this money is going to.

Any new information? My husband responded to an ad about corgi puppies. She sent texts and pictures, her email as well. Paid a $250 deposit and haven’t heard anything since! I’m so pissed we got scammed. Never thought this would happen. She stated she was out of Killeen as well!

I got scammed by a woman named Courtney but I am from San Antonio, and she stated she was from Killeen, her email was bellabob41@gmail.com and she also scammed another person who also interested in pugs but stated they were from Boerne. I am wondering if it’s the same person.

Happened to me and two girls I work with. Same incident. She said her name is Courtney Tipton and lives supposedly in Macon, Ga. She claims to have pugs for sale. Sent money through zelle. She responded well in the beginning then like she fell off the face of the earth. Same email : growstrong26@gmail.com. Number I had been talking to her is [protected]. She says visits are welcome after shots. Actually sent pics of pugs to me also. She said that Christmas Eve was the earliest she would let them leave. I have emails she sent and the zelle payments and the emails she sent saying she got the deposits.

I got scammed by the same person. Is there anyway we can catch her? I am so mad right now! She did the same thing to me with exotic shorthair kittens. They were supposed to be a gift for my kids for Christmas.

I think I got scammed by the same person. I sent a $200 deposit through Zelle using the growstrong26 email address. The seller kept in contact through text until the money was sent. Soon afterwards my phone number was blocked and I have not been able to reach or contact the seller (Courtney Tipton).
