Hello - i have recieved 2 series of phishing messages from fake hoobly support profiles. One is called “hooblysupportteam100” and the other one is called “teamHooblysupport” both ask me for my name email address when I opened my account what my email password is etc. they use an AOL email for me to respond to and provided me with a text number that when I called with a blocked voicemail appears to have come from some texting app online ... Never ever Will any website support team ask you for your email address or password-they can go in through their administrative controls and see what it is for themselves they don’t need you to tell them ! Contact the FCC to complain about this and provide screenshots and links to the peoples fake Hoobly accounts. You can Google FCC complaint and find their complaint form and email address .
You can also write to Hoobly at support@hoobly.com. I sent them screenshots and messages today to make them aware of the situation. I did not provide any information to the fishers-so I wonder what response I get from Hoobly ? BEWARE! That also means that adds that you might be replying to Anne requesting for money are scanned through fishing

Hoobly cannot reach a person to report a problem

I have used Hoobly for over 10 years with no problems.
I recently posted an ad for a kitten, I only had one. He was placed and I deleted the ad.
Since then I am still getting inquiries and some vicious emails from a person that also wanted him.
Come to find out that just deleting your ad isn't enough, it can still be viewed.
You must delete it out of YOUR ads too so nothing shows.
I also did this, but someone still found it via their I phone.
I cannot reach anyone there to report this, you would think they would want to know about the deletion issue anyway.
I seriously doubt I will be using them again.

Hoobly sick canary birds

At the 1st of october I contact the canary breeder renniel abreu with account user name (Abreuaviary) at hoobly.com.
I aske him to send me pictures for the red factor canaries and the red mosaic canaries and he did send me pictures for beautiful birds that's blow my mind off!
I asked him again if those the birds that I am going to get and he said yes!
Then I asked him how do you accept the payment and he said western union or send a check and he didn't accept the money by paypal and that's was my second mistake and the 1st was that I trusted him.
Any way I agreed to send him the asking price $75 for 16 birds plus $120 for the sipping by the united air lines and he shipped the birds to me today 10/15/2017 and I received them at 2:30 pm.
I took the birds home and put them in the cage and I was shucked that the birds at not the one that I saw the pictures for plus 4 birds are so weak and one of the red factor canary have some kind of disease that he twist his head to his back every 5 sec and which called twirling and there is no cure for this kind of disease unfortunately and it could be contagious to other birds or carried to the other generations.
I called renniel the seller and I told him that we have a problem and he send me sick birds and I asked him to accept the return of those 4 sick birds at least and he refused and he claim that there is nothing wrong with his birds!
I told him if he will not work out with me I will report him to hoobly costumer service but he didn't care and he told me do what ever you want to do I am not taking those birds back!
And I decided to report him not only because he cheated me but to stopping him from cheating other customers in the future.
I spend 1320 dollars to buy a good quality birds and I not just get bad quality but I am losing $300 for 4 sick birds that I will not be able to sell or breed.

Hoobly deposit on pup

October 6 saw an add for French Bulldog puppies for sale. Upon contacting the breeder they noted they are out of town for the weekend and have had a number of enquiries. If we sent a deposit, they would hold the female puppy for us and we would pick up on Tuesday when they are home. Confirmed Tuesday prior to making the 2.5 hour drive, we were still on. Yes was the answer. When we arrived at the address provided it was a home up for lease. No one has lived there since July. Of course no puppy. When I called, they stated they were having a bad day (large speeding ticket) but on route was an hour away. 2 hours later still no pup. No further communication by phone or text was answered.

Must note: all information provided, pictures, info on parents and food, training sounded very realistic.

I'm getting lots of messages about my account from the Hoobly Support Team. I know they are scams and phishing. Tried to find a contact for Hoobly to report the problem and can't find anything. Guess they don't give a damn.

Interesting about the bulldogs...this morning my hoobly account was hacked and there was a listing for French bulldogs...from Austin, TX. They changed my email address to fit their own and are using my username. No way to contact Hoobly that I can see. Frustrating.

Hoobly siamese kittens - i'm a breeder

I wanted to let you know at first that when I tried to contact you to report a customer that has been harassing me here on hoobly, I accidently reported my ad, but I was hoping that I could get ahold of someone.
I have a customer from arizona named finnfam14 that is saying a bunch of mean thing to me here on hoobly and I was wondering what can I do about this? Or could you potentially block this particular person.
This customer, started by asking me if I ship animals to arizona? I responded back never.. That it wasn't allowed. He then responded back saying things like: lmfaoooo ok, lol. Apparently u have many problems and no. I would never give out my number online that's sure dumb, lmfaoooo ok well I see where u live and that ur white trash ignorant piece of [censor] I hope u don't sell any of ur kittens poor business skills lol report filed online...
This scared me because I have never had any issues here on hoobly before and now i'm needing some advice for further future issues. Thank you for reading my concerns and my complaint. Camou flauged - shelli

This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

When I place my ad my pictures rotate sideways. When I prerotate to account for this they still post sideways. After trying to repost multiple times correctly with no success, I then searched for an hour for customer support for the site, but am unable to locate this information. All I want is my pics to post upright, and am upset I have no method of contacting the site.

Hoobly puppy sale

I answered an ad for pitbull puppies on hoobly. The guys name was alex and listed his phone number as [protected]. Said he had puppies. We picked our "puppy" on friday 4/21/2017. Here is the ad I responded to:

American pitbull terrier!
Available today!
Family raised and beautiful!
8 weeks old and up to date with all his shots.
Lots of interest!
The cute ones go quick!
For info call or text [protected]
Serious inquiries only!
Let the messaging begin! Er as

We took her to the vet last night, 4/25/2017, and we were told she is at least 6 months old. She is infested with worms and parasites, skin infections and we were also told that by the looks of her feet, she spent all of her life in a cage, eating and living in her own filth. I guess he sprayed her down before we got there. And we left with her because of how skinny she looked. It turns out she was treated much worse than we could have ever imagined.
The same phone number and name - alex is listed on the website with other pictures of dogs, all with the same bow tie our dog picture had. And he is under different names - princeofpups and rltysrs9885.

This guy is a disgrace and how he treats animals is even worse.

Hoobly english mastiff puppies for sale (boston mastiffs)

I responded to an add for English Mastiff puppies for sale in Boston Massachusetts. The person told me I just missed the 2 puppies she had. But told me to contact Rhonda Hickman at [protected]@gmail.com. This women or man for all that I know told me that she had a little boy named Marvin that was 10 weeks old and that she lived at 1880 Ashwood Dr Akron Ohio 44313. Told me to send the money through RIA at Walmart. She picked the money up in Morain Ohio and never sent the puppy. I know for a fact that they have a new add with the same number I texted to. But the name has changed from Elizabeth to April cooks for 600 dollars. The phone number they use to pull you in is [protected].

I have reported this add to Hoobly classifieds but they did not take it off. I posted an add that said it's a scam and they won't let it post to the sight. Don't be suckered in like I was.

Hoobly people advertising pets

My 4 year old granddaughter lost her Siberian Husky Apollo, he died. So I went online to search for another male husky puppy to replace him for her. I then start getting harassed and I tell the person to leave me alone he keeps texting me and then threatens he is going to rape my 4 year old granddaughter. I had to turn him in to my cellphone company because even after I blocked his number he was still able to text me. I am looking into legal remedies concerning this as I kept all text messages as evidence

Hoobly golden doodle puppies

I emailed a breeder in Greensboro NC under the email maggypuppieshome.com. She said she had just sold the puppy we were interested in and that the guy that bought them was changing jobs and needed to find them a home. So she gave me his contact information [protected]@gmail.com. I contacted him and decided to send him the amount we agreed on. He said the puppy would be shipped Monday 2-13-17. Then Monday he said he had to get his papers done so he could be shipped to my airport. Would be here Tuesday. No puppy. Would not give me any information on who he would be coming in on and who the shipper was. I finally got out from him delta pet out of Lancaster PA. I did some checking on my end and Delta does not fly out of Lancaster PA, they fly out of Harrisburg PA. On Wednesday 2-15 he gave me a air bill number for the puppy. I called Delta and the number was invalid. Then around 12 the shipper called me and said the puppy was on his way. The shipper's phone number is [protected]. After i pushed him on Thursday about my puppy, he stopped returning my emails and calls. I have started the criminal fraud case against him and the breeder. DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY TO THESE CROOKS.

Hoobly furripaws member

Purchased Persian kitten from Hoobly member 'furripaws', Kaye Williams, in Arlington, TX. Less than a month and the kitten was dead from congenital heart disease. Kaye refuse to offer replacement or refund, or even an apology. Enormous vet expense trying to keep kitten alive. I loved this kitten and was heartbroken. Beware. Her kittens are sick, and filthy. Research the breeder before you buy. If you can't visit the location/cattery, find someone else.

Hoobly unethical behavior

I breed dogs and list them on Hoobly because there are legitimate buyers. However, there are a number of activists that spam my ads with questions that are clearly stated in the ad. I have yet to have one of these people actually respond after informing them that the information they are looking for is in the ad.

My issue is there is no way of reporting these members who are usually signed up the day they make false inquiries and have them removed. We all have causes we believe in but activists spamming Hoobly is wasting my time and denying potential good buyers the level of service they deserve.

Hoobly format of classified site

It is very time consuming and confusing to answer/reply to hoobly ads. When you reply, the buyers response/questions can no longer be seen. Many are forgotten and numerous replies have to be exchanged in the process. IMO this process could be made more efficient and user friendly.

Hoobly selling animals online like objects

Sept. 18, 2016 I was looking for the Humane Society and Animal Shelters located in a small town when I noticed many websites selling animals and puppies.

All of these sites sell a hodge podge of non-living objects and I find it inhumane for any site other than a legitimate governmental or charitable organization to sell animal of any kind. They are not objects. They are living, breathing beings with feelings and needs.

Why would any intelligent person purchase an animal online as if it were a bike, sight unseen other than a photo that is probably bogus.

I went to log in today and it says my account has been permanently suspended.. Not very professional hoobly.. Not at all.. Hoobly advertised munchkin kittens for sale and never received them

On Aug. 3, 2016 I put down a deposit of $350.00 through PayPal to hold 2 standard, male munchkin kittens that were advertised on Hoobly under the name catlola (her name is Lexus Troutman). The payments were sent to her partner, Robin Mitchell ([protected]@gmail.com). The address listed on Hoobly as Lexus's address is 115 North St., Harrisburg, PA 17111. Photos and texts were exchanged over the next month. Unfortunately, I am unable to get the photos of the kittens to copy here.
We had arranged and agreed to pick the kittens up on Aug. 27th in Coal Township, at the Coal Bowl bowling alley(1380 Tioga St., Coal Township, PA 17866), which is about 2 hours north of Harrisburg, PA. We waited about 2 and 1/2 hours. She never showed up with the kittens. Then we arranged for her to bring the kittens to Winchester, VA. on Aug. 31, 2016. She was to call me when she got to the VA line so we could arrange a specific meeting location. She never called, texted, or showed up with the kittens on that date. I am out my $350.00 deposit I paid to have her hold the kittens for me. She never responded to my last two texts that were sent at 6:24 pm and 6:32 pm on Aug. 31st when I inquired as to her where abouts.

Hoobly no bill of sale or receipt for deposit on puppy sale

On May 1, 2016 I sent a deposit for a English bulldog puppy via western union to a Kathy Rose, located at 128 Greystone Rd, Bassett, VA 24055. She picked the money up from western union and did show her drivers license. Her son promised to send me a bill of sale which I never received. I tried calling the number I was given at [protected] so someone answered but just left the phone on and never talked to me. I finally got a hold of him by text and requested either a bill of sale or refund of my money. He told me he was at work and agreed to send me either and he would get a hold of me the next day. I have not heard from him since then and he has four more ads up on Hoobly.com. I have reported the ads but they have yet to be taken down. His membership name is Allstar1980 and he claims to live in North Carolina. The cellphone is registered in Martinsville, Virginia some 125 miles away for Greensboro. This guy took advantage of me and I hate to see all the others that he may do the same to advertising dogs at $1000.00 a piece. I just lost my dog of fourteen years to cancer and really would like a new best friend. I am on a fixed income and the money I sent him I had been saving for a while. I guess I was ignorant and should have done more research on how do handle these kind of transactions. I am a kind hearted and honest person this just makes me mad that people have to take advantage of others. The tracking number on the western union is [protected]. I will be calling western union back in ten days to file a fraud report and I will be addressing the situation with a letter to hoobly.com who should have some way of protecting the people that use their site.
