Honda Financial Services Horrible customer service

I called to resolve recurring late payment fees applied to account that I was never informed about despite of my monthly automatic payment set up. The agent who answered was named Heather S. (refused to give me her last name). She was not only rude and unprofessional but she spoke to me such a judgemental tone. She made me never want to do business with Honda ever again. My lease is ending soon so I was considering either buying the car or leasing another car with Honda, but after talking to her I NEVER want to deal with Honda ever again if this is what I have to deal with all Honda employees.

Honda Financial Services Negative credit mark

I have been in contact with several people from Honda Financial Services regarding a negative mark I received on my credit on May 5, 2020, which dropped my excellent credit score from 852 to 732. My credit score has never had a negative mark.

I co-signed on this loan in November 2017 with Melissa Maxwell. Melissa has been the person to make the monthly payments due on the 29th of each month. The account has been in good standing since it opened in November.

On March 25th, Melissa called into Honda Financial Services to do a lease payment deferral due to Covid-19 and loss of income. The recording stated due to high call volume the deferral could be done online. Melissa went online and filled out the information to defer her March and April payment. She was not aware of any problem until I called her regarding the correspondence I received from my credit company informing me of the negative mark on my credit report. She immediately called Honda Financial Services, on May 5, 2020, and was told by the customer service representative they never received a request for payment deferral. The customer service representative then processed the payment deferral for March and April with next payment due on May 29, 2020, but stated he would not be able to remove the negative credit mark. Customer service representative also stated phone calls were made to both Melissa and I and a letter sent out which neither of us received.

Since May 5, 2020, we have spoken to several supervisors who said they are not able to do anything regarding the credit mark. Melissa and I both spoke with John at 714-816-8223 who said he handles all the disputes for Honda and John proceeded to tell me that "objectively" he cannot remove the mark because "if I removed the mark from your credit, then I would have to remove the mark from everybody's credit."

I am not in agreement with what John is saying since during this pandemic with the covid-19, each situation should be done on a case-by-case basis especially when this is not a chronic situation where payments are continuously late and the account has been in bad standing; yet, this is a situation where it was a one-time incident (1 late payment) and the credit score is in excellent standing and having this negative mark is something that could stay on my credit for up to 7 years. Honda states they want to help during this pandemic time; yet, this is not helping and only causing stress in an already stressful situation. I would appreciate if Honda could remove the negative mark from my credit.

Honda Financial Services Rude agents

My name is Diemthuy Tran. My account number with HFS is [protected]. Today, my friend, Truc Nguyen account number is [protected] asked me to call HFS [protected]) for her about her Honda Civic 2018 because she cannot speak English. Her question is that she paid off her car loan in April 13, 2020, but in April 16, 2020, HKS automatic system still withdraw $427.15 out from her bank. She would like to know when HFS can refund her $427.15. I called HFS around 1:30pm. Because of Civid19, so my friend, Truc Nguyen, was not with me when I made a phone call regarding her account. She sent me all her information so that I could represent her to talk to HFS customer service Agent. The first Agent that I talked to said his name was Raymond (I might spell his name wrong because he denied to spell his name for me when I asked at the end of our conversation.) The conversation between Raymond and I went well at first when he said he will request a Vietnamese Agent to call my friend back, but he did not know when this agent will be available. Then I asked him, "When her extra payment can be refund to her, and Is that anymore payment will be withdrawn in May out form my friend's bank?" He said, "I cannot give you any information about Truc Nguyen's account since your name is not on her account. I tried to explain to him that because of covid 19 so my friend cannot be next to me, she is worry ing about her money. He should do something to take my friend's worry away. At this time, my friend was worrying about her money. He said he cannot help me. Then I asked him, "Can you spell your name, so that if nothing happened like you said, I still can notified HFS that I already talked to you about her case."He denied to spell his name with a reason that my name is not on the account with a very rude voice. Then I asked him to put me to talk with his manager. He said, "No" and denied to transfer me. I hung up and call HFS back. Now I called HFS because I want to file a complaint about Raymond. At this time, I talked to another HFS agent. His name is Jonathan. He also talked rude to me when I told him the reason why I called and tell him to transfer me to his manager. He said he would like to know the problem and at the end he stood for Raymond and did not transfer me to the manager. There was a moment that Jonathan cut me off while I was talking to him. What is going on here at HFS? I felt very bad and disappointed about unprofessional of these agents. They were acting rude and tried to protect each other from being complaint because of their bad customer service skills. Because of their unprofessional service skills, they are ruin Honda Financial Services company's name. My question for HFS is that you hired these people to provide your customer's need and concerns in a professional way, or you hired these agents to being rude and unprofessional way?

Honda Financial Services Customer service

In one day I have talked to 11 different people, yes 11 DIFFERENT people about my account and every time I tell them that I am paying, they don't put anything in the computer, or if they do put it in the computer, they don't LOOK, before they call. I also have been asking for a supervisor to talk to, and I get told that there is no supervisor and that they do not talk to customers, so what are they there for. Dah.

My son was laid off from work during the Pandemic. He called Honda Financial Service and ask for payment extension in February 2021, but continued try and make partial payments, but he still was having problems making the monthly payment.

In addition to this, The extension he requested was never updated and recorded into the computer, so they continued to charge him late fees and also turned him into the credit bureau.

We contacted them and every customer service agent was rude. The agent who answered was named Scott (refused to give me her last name). Then I spoke to their Team Leader, and she was not only rude and unprofessional but she spoke to me such a judgemental tone. She made me never want to do business with Honda ever again.

However, after talking to her I NEVER want to deal with Honda ever again.

Honda Financial Services Customer service

Every time I call to speak in regard to my account. I get the "[censored] treatment". I have been called joggers by the Honda dealership and now I guess Honda employees see through with the harsh treatment. I receive snide under tone comments. Customer services representatives are very much combative and I suppose there are notes on my account assassinating my character because they all say the same pretentious words to me. If it seems like I'm a disgruntled customer and I'm yelling that warrants the mistreatments that I have received in regard to my account . Honda has a fraudulent contract and I have been upset about that yet provoking me and being combative is a way to excuse the wrong doing on Honda's end. I have spoken to multiple people who choose to treat me wrong. I tell them that because of my race I have been provoked and overlooked and also I have been told that I'm wrong. Well how can someone else speak for the violations in which I have endured.

Honda Financial Services lease termination sneaky tactics

2016 civic lease, with Honda Financial Services, closed end 36 months turned in early, prior to last scheduled payment. Honda financial updated this in November of19 as Paid as agreed.in December, re-reported to the bureau that it was over 30 days, AFTER they closed the account, and had their rental back in hand. They have now updated the credit bureau that the account is " over 60 days late, rather than sending a lease termination statement. It appears to be highly illegal to be past due for an account for a terminated rental/ lease. Honda referes to section 13 in their contract/ State of Michigan as justification. They, have ruined my credit

Honda Financial Services request for payment assistance

I have a Honda customer for years and just last Friday 10/25 my 2019 Honda Civic was taken away without any notice despite my request for some assistance because of my medical condition, I am on medical leave at the moment so was unable to make payments but I requested some more time and without any consideration or notices the car was taken away. The finance department promised to call me within two days but to date no one contacted me despite me calling them everyday on the progress . To me this is just a delaying technique.
Being a customer for years at least some kind of consideration would have been possible, no constructive communication was done . Honda claims to the best and I strongly believed that till this was done to me !
I am requesting authorities to look into this customer service issue as soon as possible!

Honda Financial Services payment

My name is Asha Nair. I have been a customer of Rusty Wallis Honda since 2007 with my parents buying cars from there. My car was towed this morning (October 9, 2019) at 1:43 am. I called the Honda Financial Services and they told me that my payments were behind but I was never notified about it. They said that they mailed me papers, tried calling me and the only calls that I have received are from Scam Likely and numbers from Illinois about student loans. So unless it's coming from a Scam Likely number (which I don't answer at all). They said I never paid amounts from July 2019 onwards. But on my bank statement, there is a July payment. I would like to be reimbursed for all the fees that I have to pay for my car to get it back. I have an 8-day old baby who's car seat base is in the car. Also, I would think that under certain circumstances that you would try to help your customers out in expediting things and trying to help the customer out so that you can keep our business. Please help your customers out in their time of need.

Honda Financial Services customer service for atv payments

Multiple calls for error in applying payment to wrong account reflecting in a negative impact with credit bureaus after multiple calls & request to speak with supervisor the payments were corrected & advised credit bureau would be corrected as well. Supervisor was suppose to return a call within 24-48 hrs that was 6/5 Today is 7/3 a follow up call was placed after receiving updated credit report no changes a supervisor will return my call. CSR will not transfer to supervisor or voice mails they will not provide any other information than a 1st name no I'd number or ext to reach them back . I have a growing list of 1st names Richards Micheal, etc . In my office of 40 people we have 5 Michaels . I haven't had a late payment on any account in over 10yrs however I had 3 payments applied to 1 account within 2 wks . Never again will I finance with Honda.

Honda Financial Services erroneous repeated bill for a honda 2017 lease (acct [protected]) for $380.19

On 3/15/19 I leased a new 2019 Honda Accord that car, having leased a new 2019 Honda Accord Hybrid from Honda of Huntington, New York with a lease from Bethpage Federal Credit Union. My financial obligation to Honda Financial services ended that day since the $380.19 was taken care of through my financial transaction with Honda of Huntington (Tel. 631-423-6000; Brayan Perez sales consultant). Paperwork was submitted to Honda Financial services regarding this on March 29, 2018 . Two individuals Ebony (4/13/19) and subsequently Brianna (5/2/19) said that no further bills would be sent once they received verification of this new transaction. Evidence of my new lease was sent to Briana at email: eot@ahm.honda.com with documentation on 5/3/19. A document confirming this is provided.

I just received another bill stating the case was assigned to End-of-Term -Recovery and collection. This is incompetent and needs immediate resolution including making sure this does not affect my credit rating. I expect notification that this has been corrected- email:[protected]@optonline.net; cell [protected]. this is not the way I expect Honda Financial Services to treat loyal customers.

This letter is to document that we have consistently contacted Honda Financial Services for a week and half to do a lease transfer and have had no results. I Murray Hamada can no longer drive my leased vehicle and tried to transfer the lease to Benjamin Chouake, a person with excellent credit and is willing to take the lease transfer. Honda Financial Services for a week and half to do a lease transfer and have had no results. I Murray Hamada can no longer drive my leased vehicle and tried to transfer the lease to, a person with excellent credit and is willing to take the lease transfer. HFS has acted in bad faith with no results after we submitted the credit application a week ago.

Honda Financial Services honda financial services

Honda paid a tax bill for an amount that was not correct. I paid Honda for the amount due for the time that they pwned the car. I paid my town for the remainder and confirmed that Hona's list # was given a refund. I called Honda multiple times to try to get my Honda account resolved and continue to receive threatening calls and letters even after I sent a cease and desist letter. I don't know who else to call.

Honda Financial Services I have extended my lease and was overcharged by honda financial services

MY acc. no. [protected]
I have leased a 2015 Honda civic. Upon maturity, I have an agreement to extend the lease for another six months at the same contractual terms of $155.00 a month.
However, I got a bill for January 7, 2019, demanding an overcharged amount of $165.85, which is a violation of the Agreement.

I called customer service of Honda financial services, and they argued that they added $10.85 as sales tax, but they are refusing to state on the bill that they charged me sales tax.

The agreement clearly states $0.00 for sales tax.
Also, the dealer, where I leased the car, told me that the sales tax, if any, are already included in the monthly charge of $155.00.

I believe Honda Financial are defrauding me and they increased my monthly charge in violation of the agreement.
I appreciate very much if you can correct this overcharge.

Honda Financial Services 2018 lease

I traded my 2015 Honda in early for a 2018 Honda Civic. I paid over $5000 for this new lease it was never explained that I had any payments due towards the 2015. I questioned the sales rep and manager about the April payment I made; because I thought perhaps I could get credited. I paid $189 which was my least amount at that time on April 1, 2018 and purchased the new car on April 4, 2018. Six months later I received a bill for $580.79 with all kinds of fees from the end of term recovery department, which is ridiculous, when I called Honda Apple in Riverhead the manager, Charlie, said to me that nothing could be done and that April payment was "bye-bye"; they payed three months and now six months later I am expected to make a payment for August 2018, on a car I no longer have, why would I make a payment in August 2018, on a lease I turned in, whereas the salesman and manager told me nothing is due on the 2015. And to be threatened by the representative from HFS that my credit will be affected. I have always loved my Honda; this is my third. I have always made payments promptly on the due date. I am sad to say I will not be buying a Honda upon turning in this car and will certainly not visit Apple Honda or finance from HFS. I will never recommend either.

Honda Financial Services paperworks

To Whom It May Concerns,
I recently requested a payment extension on Friday, September 28 and it was approved. As of October 6, I have not received paperwork so I can sign and fax back to Honda Financial. I have called three times and everyone I have spoken to have reassured me these papers were mail out to me. I also requested an email alone with attach paperwork. And again, l am by customer service that they will send it to my email address that is on file, as of today I have not received an email. I very concern that I will get a late fee and that this will show a miss payment. This is the second time that customer service has not responded to my request promptly way. What do I need to speed up this process? And who do I need to contact about this matter?

Honda Financial Services turn in fee

o: Honda Financial services:

I have been a honda customer since 2008. I had switched from Toyota and have been very happy with the Civic. In 2015, when I turned in the car I was dismayed to see a fee of $380.19. I have previosly leased two cars from other companies and never had a turn in fee. At the time of signing my lease, this fee was never mentioned. I spent a long time with the salesman going over all the fees that could be incurred, included over milage and damage to the car. NEVER, NEVER did they mention a turn-in fee. my lease shows N/A (not applicable ) where this info is on the lease.

I was told by the person I spoke with that she would offer me a one time, right now only discount, but would not give me anything in writing. I had to pay right then and there or the deal was off and my credit rating would be affected. (I have never missed one payment) I was upset by this and asked for the name of someone superior to her. She put me on hold and after 10-15 minutes I had to hang up and return to work. See voice mail below)

I want to speak to someone else. I didn't like the way I was treated. She should have immediately switched me over to her supervisor.

At this point I will never own another Honda and you have lost my goodwill as a former supporter of your cars. Please contact me asap. I would like to resolve this issue.

Honda Financial Services payment issue

I purchased a new Honda FIT in May 2018. I financed the vehicle through Honda Financial Services. I was in an accident June 23rd, 2018 and the car was totaled. I made my payment the following month (July) but at the beginning on August 2018, I talked to a representative who stated the deductible as well as the outstanding balance would be paid by Honda Care.

Honda Financial Services has now reported to credit agencies I am months late on my car payment. Honda calls me day and night and every representative I talk to places me on hold to explore the problem and never come back with an explanation- they just see that I am "late" and can't see any record of what I'm claiming happened. So I'm hoping photographic evidence will help.

I'm requesting my credit score be corrected.

Honda Financial Services lowering my credit score because of a dealerships incompetence

I returned a leased vehicle to Acura of Greenwich, 2016 Acura ILX, which the owner reluctantly took back because I did not buy the car from him. This was done on January 30, 2017. 5 months later I received a letter from American Honda Finance to return the vehicle. I told them where it was and when I returned the vehicle. They contacted the owner and the Owner told him he had the vehicle and that he forgot to ground the vehicle, but will do it. After finding this out American Finance then told several credit bureaus I was in default and lowered my credit rating 140 points. I went to buy a house and to my dismay was told that I could not because of what American Honda did and I literally lost thousands of dollars because I could not resolve this matter in time. I still have not been compensated for this and now are trying to charge me additional money for the termination fee for which I was told would be waved.

Honda Financial Services service

Many times I tried to figure how to get to talk to a real person at HFS, no menus offer customer service. I say the words customer service, service rep, then it hangs up on me after too many tries. I finally found to push 0 on a particular menu, it does not work on all menus, then finally I was put on hold and told 9 minutes. 23 minutes later still no representative, I gave up. At least with the modern technology, and Honda being in technology could at least have customer call back. The lady manager at the Honda dealer also acknowledged this is a problem for customers, amazing a Japanese company allowing poor customer service to continue on.
I made a payoff on my loan, but it just shows processing for 2 days now, and I dread to try to contact HFS, hope someone calls me at [protected]

Next topic, I bought my Honda at a dealer a certified pre-owned and wanted to trade it back in, and they gave a incredible low ball offer of $14k. I bought it 16 months prior at 25.5k with 12kmiles/12 months, and in 16 months we only put 10k miles additional. About 8 months back when I was living in Vegas, also had a low ball offer as well and walked out trying to trade up to a Pilot. Last week, Carmax gave a quote for 17k, even the Toyota dealer was respectful to give much more. I sold it privately for 20k yesterday. I like Honda cars, but surprised that a Japanese company has trained to low ball their own customers, that is disrespectful and lousy business practice. (It is 2 locations that have done low ball, so assume it is trained)

Honda service has a lot to learn form Toyota, last time I serviced my car I waited 15 plus minutes by my car before someone even came out, and during that time 5 more cars were waiting. This is Norm Reeves on Huntington Blvd. If you need a new General manager let me know, I lived in Japan 3 years, and worked in automotive for 20 years. I know it is a Toyota word, but Honda needs real Kaizen.
Honestly, I am leaning towards Toyota these days, and refuse to go to Norm Reeves Honda anymore.

Please please please someone help with them stop calling me I have not owned a Honda in over a year and I get calls all hours of the day and night requiring me to call Honda when I call they tell me we have no idea why we're calling you but they continue to call me this is harassment please somebody help me find a way to get them to stop doing this
