I took my friend there for his birthday. We got there around six o'clock or so. I waited at the table for the waitress to ask us what we wanted to drink. She was no where to be seen. After about ten minutes waiting, I went to get both of our drinks myself. Later, the waitress told me I should have tried to find her and ask for my drinks. Then I went up to get my dinner and went to the meat section where they are suppose to have someone to slice your meat. They have ham and roast beef or steak. There was no one there for at least 5 minutes so I got tired of waiting and helped myself. I felt I should have had better service for the price they charge. It cost 23 dollars and some change for two dinners. I for sure did not tip the waitress when I got ready to leave. I won't ever go again at supper time. Oh, I forgot to mention when I went to get some margarine for my potato the container was almost completely empty. I had to go and ask the managers to get some chicken out. They don't keep things full and forget to check and see if they need to fill the containers. I haven't had any problems with the lunch staff. I also made a suggestion for them to have carrot salad during the noon meal at least a year ago to one of the district managers. They have not responded to this suggestion yet. They have broccoli salad in it's place. I can't stand broccoli salad!

what I don't get is that if you are allowed to go up and get your own drinks, then why the heck would you think that the waitress first priority is to come and get your drink for you. I get that some people think that if you have to get your own drink then why tip but it's just out of respect, b/c on the other hand whatever goes on at the food bar is not her fault and shouldn't interfere with her tip.
It stinks that you had a lousy expererience, but sometimes there's reasons... maybe they are short staff, which would cause a lot of your frustrations and the employess frustrations, if you get my drift.
