Homecoming dresses / Poor quality customer service
On Saturday October 4, 2008 I had went to the new JC Penny store in Johnsburg, IL. I was accompanied by two beautiful 16 year old girls who none the less were excited about getting dresses. Once we found a dress the girls liked I needed it shipped to my home in a different size as for the store did not have the size we needed in stock. For $10 they would ship it to my house. Apparently it is my fault they don't have the correct size and the nearest store in 1 hour away.
In hopes of making a girls dream come true I agreed (reluctantly) to pay the $10. Associate #1 called for help you see this apparently is not her job so Associate #2 gets hung up on by the 1st store (Dundee, IL)because "they were too busy to handle this right now." Calls for associate #3 because assoc. #2 does not have time for this. Assoc. #3 gets hung up by store #2 (Hawthorne Center, Vernon Hills, IL) calls back asks for 3 different specific poeple by name they were all too busy to help. So there I left the store after the girls picked different dresses in their sizes.
While waiting in the checkout line I observed two different assoc. fighting at the entrance and did not even have to strain to hear what they were fighting about even though I was approx. 20 feet away.
When I asked the lady at the checkout counter for the managers name she was unsure.
