HomeGoods ottoman / saws associate

I bought last year one beautiful ottoman which I like so much! One of its legs is broken and I went to the store to ask them how could I fix it. A lady came out and she said "you have bought this a year ago and of course we cannot help"
I didn't have a receipt or any thing which implies that I wasn't expecting a return/refund or even leg replacement! All I was seeking is a piece of advice for how I can fix it.
I explained that to the lady who happen to be so arrogant and rude! She told me to contact the manufacturer / I told her how can I get their contacts she was like "I am not sure I don't know"
I told her do you normally speak to your customer like that? No assistance! She said "I cannot help you as you are trying to make a seen".
Well if I wanted to make a seen I would have done it not to wait until I file a complain.
I am not sure what happened to the sales associates now a days but I didn't expect that from a place that is quite successful and where I use to shop almost everything!
Now I hate that ottoman and I am gonna throw it away!

HomeGoods kory the manager

I am a former employee of Home Goods & I left the company because of the poor way I was treated by your manager Kory. I went in to pick up my last check & he was very disrespectful to me. I since went in as a customer w/ my daughter & he was very snide, sarcastic in his greeting & when I wouldn't respond to his disrespect he laughed in my daughters face! I am so appalled that a person can be so awful to his employees and then also to a customer and keep getting away with this kind of action. Your company should be very ashamed of itself!

After reading all the complaints about Homegoods Management all over the states, I'm not surprised the way I have been treated. I guess this is how the Leader/President of Homegoods must be and they have trained management to be the same way! Homegoods your stores and management teams are a Reflection of YOU! I work at the Gilroy, CAlifornia store. I'm 55 years old I have a regular 40 hour a week job but decided to work some extra hours and joined Homegoods...I didn't know what to expect. I have to say, I feel sorry for the youngsters who go through this terrible treatment and think they have to put up with it... I talked to my grandkids about this type of treatment and it's not acceptable!

HomeGoods rude management

Dear sirs and madam, the purpose of this e-mail is to inform each of you on the way to owings mills maryland homegoods, regarding the manager named khan, he was very rude to his employees and he was scolding one of his employees for having long nails and criticizing the employee dude to her nails. The manager he's a male wears glasses is very rude with customers too, wasn't happy at all or smiling

HomeGoods air conditioner

ALL THE TIME! i am beginning to hate shopping here. it is always hot. i dont understand how they think down south we dont need air. those poor workers in home goods lafayette, la are always sweating and complaining its hot. yet nothing is done about it. I am a customer there all the time and it is beyond hot. when it is 80 outside and it feels better outside then inside we have a problem. fix the situation.

HomeGoods associate service... see below

Service: it's 8:58 pm Saturday 12-22-18 and my carriage has been taken by an associate and returned all my items. A manager Radioed on Phone to associates if anyone had seen my carriage. And associate responded and proceeded to take me to where she put away all the items at. I am probably missing an item or two but the majority of items especially for what I came here for was retrievedAt this time the line is not three rows over it is now two rows over which is a positive thing. This is my first time in this store location. Because the line is so long I asked an associate if she could put a hold LAMMA items till the morning when you open and she said she could only hold him until the end of store closing. I've been in the store for hours and looks like I'm not going to get out of that line until the store closes. My first experience at the store not a very good one but I guess I shoul chalk it up as I'm happyI got most my items back. I doubt I'll be returning to the store in the future.

HomeGoods lack of communication and disrespect

Assistant managers are not communicating with employees. Was suppose to work a full week schedule but was told at the last minute that the hours decrease. Was given a rude remark about how I (the employee) was suppose to figure it out for myself that the schedule was changed. Did not appreciate that there was no phone call or message left ahead of time.

HomeGoods credit card

I opened up a credit with TJX because I was told that I would get 10% off of my initial purchase of over $800, which would be reflected in my first statement. It wasn't. When I called customer services, I was told it would be reflected in my next statement. It wasn't. After contacting them again, I was told that I was misinformed by the store and that there was no such promotion. They said there was nothing they could do. They also charged me a late fee on my payment when it was postmarked a day before it was due.

My husband opened up a credit with TJX and created an automatic payment at the same time he created one for our Lowes card. Then we got a late fee in a $2 dollar bill. We called the customer services, I was told that the automatic payment did not work (The Lowes credit did! Interesting!) then I explained to him that we never ever paid our bills after the due date. The staff clearly did not try to understand our position, by the contrary, he was very rude and disrespectful on the phone. My only alternative was to cancel my TJX credit card. So be aware if you plan to have a credit card with this store. They are not trustworthy and customer service is very poor. I wonder how much money they are making just with the late fee since many people have been complaining about this exact issue.

HomeGoods rude staff

I was in your Seal Beach, CA store 9/11/15, at around 4:05pm. Store not busy but lots of employees and NO cashiers. Stood in line for ten minutes until they finally called for another cashier. Four people behind the counter. Took two people to glue one rhinestone to the merchandise...Really! Waiting in line for ten minutes to be told that I couldn't buy a bowl that was missing the other three. That's horrible customer service. The women there are so RUDE. The customers don't even get acknowledged when there should be help and your standing in line for a long time. What happen to GOOD customer service. This store certainly does not have it. The guys are a lot nicer that one crabby woman. Your store is what it is by how your manager runs it. I won't be shopping at this store anymore. I thrive on Good customer service. One of us who SPEND our money in any store for that matter deserve good customer service and the kindness from your employees. The employees need to be reminded who pays their PAYCHECK.

HomeGoods poor customer service

Hi, I shopped at homegoods in La Canada branch of Los Angeles at 10am today. I bought 8 big baskets and filled up more than one shopping cart, as I was with my 2 years old daughter, so I asked the male cashier to arrange a staff to help me. He said I can push the cart by myself to my car. I said I need help as I was with a toddler. Then he asked a staff to help me RELUCTANTLY, what kind of customer service is this?

HomeGoods horrible dlpm

I have worked for her in the past and I disagree, in fact, she is very good at her job. Good luck finding a job though. I hear Wal-Mart's hiring for door greeters if you are qualified, but by looking at your post I'm not sure that you are. By the way, greeters are considered LP in most retail companies - if interviewing for an LP position it would probably be in your best interest to know that.

HomeGoods rude manager

There is a manager by the name of Victoria who is very rude to her employees and customers. I have been coming here for years and have never had any problems. I really love the store but since she has started working there her employees have not been the same. Not sure why but I think you need to talk to her about customer service other than that everything Is fine

HomeGoods sale item priced wrong

I went shopping a homegoods founed item i wanted. With a big green sigh and home goods on sign. for $79.99. I took it to store register to by it lady behind counter said sign did not have a bar coad found sticker on back of item with bar coad for $129.99. Call manager and she told me it was marked wrong and she would not let me have it for price poster. I feel I

should have been able to by item at the price that was on unit up front

on unit.I call this false advertising

HomeGoods racist manager

There a manager in tjmaxx by the name Mr.Don. He is very rude to his employee and he is very racist. He do not like black people and i am a witness to it .That day i was in TJMAXX, i was standinng behind a black girl that was nicely dress and very well groomed. she had brought back a return without a receipt. when the cashier ring up her total, she call a manager up front by the name Mr.Don. he look at the item and told that he couldnt take the item back, because they didnt come from there and she said, well my friend said that this is where these item come from and plus they had a TJMAXX TICKET on them. As awitness i new he was lieing to her and i think it was because she was black. Because before she was up there, there was a white woman in front of her with about 300 hundred dollars worth of merchandise without a receipt and he sign the return, and walk off. But this girl return was just alittle over a 100 dollars. What im trying to say is, all people should be treated equal no matter what color they are. The black girl was very upset about the situation when she left out without a gift card. When she left out i know that the item she had did come from TJMAXX. So when she left out, he had the nerves to say, all they do is steal and expect to return it. I know what meant by that, so after i got a refund, i told him you better be very careful about what you say, cause your going to get a law suit against TJMAXX, and their not going to like that.I told him everybody is not a racist like you. HIS NAME IS MR.DON, HE IS A MANAGER AT TJMAXX IN THE NORTHLITTLEROCK, ARKANSAS STORE.You all might need to check on this soon as possible, before you all end up getting suesed because he a racist. THANKYOU, VERYMUCH. A VERY CONCERN CUSTOMER

Tell you the truth, this is not the first time it happen, believe me. Im just trying to warn you all about him, before its to late. You all will end up getting sued and thats a gaurantee. I SHOP IN THERE ALL THE TIME. He is not only a racist. He screams out at his employees right in front of customers and give a hoot. Hes exscreamly mean and hateful. IF SHE HAVE BEEN IN THERE BEFORE, THAT DOESNT MEAN ANYTHING. ONLY THE COMPUTER CAN KICK OUT SYSTEM, AM i right. LONG AS YOUR ITEMS IS UNDER A 100 DOLLARS THEY SUPPOSED TO TAKE IT BACK WITHOUT CALLING A MANAGER. When a customer leaves out of a store and he said that they all steal, that was racist to me and it would be to a lawyer to. THANKYOU VERY MUCH

HomeGoods - terrible customer service

I found a beautiful wall hanging made from shells. It was the last one and parts of it were scraped. I decided to see if it could be marked down. When I went to the register I showed the clerk and she tried to clean it off and couldn't. She asked another employee what he thought and he took it to another clerk who was ringing someone else up and she loudly...

HomeGoods attitude of clerk at checkout register

On 8/22/2008, my husband & I visited the HomeGoods store at 435 William Hilton Pkwy, Hilton Head Island, SC. The Good Experience: We selected several home decor items and lamps for our home on Hilton Head Island and took them to the register to check out. The Bad Experience: The clerk at the register was not only inattentive and very unprofessional, but also downright rude and crass. We had to ask her to re-bag our "fragile" items so as not to damage them. Futhermore, she began yelling and rudely laughing very loudly to other employees in our presence. And to top it all off, after she rang-up our merchandise, took our payment and BEFORE bagging it, she stopped and waited on someone else, without any explanation or apology. She was one of, if not THE RUDEST store clerks that I have ever witnessed. All this was without any provocation on our part, and was very difficult not to report her or say something to her. I have decided that I will call the phone number on the store receipt to report her after the fact, but there is no clerk number or name on the receipt. I might add that I do like HomeGoods merchandise, and have visited this same store over several years and will probably continue, that is, if I am not confronted with such unprofessional rudeness.

I was at Homegoods in Oakdale Minnesota and a guy with a name tag oh Jonathan would not help a customer and he is a assistant manager he needs to get fired.

Today as I waited in line at Home good a young black lady my cashier was coming to the register to open up.

Elderly white co worker stop ringing out her customer called her a girl.

Said hey girl! Not hello how are you or glad your here.

Slavery is over calling people boys and girl in 2022. I reminded the young black lady twice shes a lady

I purchased a can opener. I wasted my $. When you need to try to use a screw driver to open a can after trying a can opener there's something wrong. So my complaint isn’t long enough. How much more can I complain? I bought a piece of garbage!

Home Goods in Bakersfield, California, is also filled with unprofessional staff. I figure it's just the was this company does business because their merchandise is unprofessional too! The store is always a mess and the merchandise is always chipped, dented, bent, broken, cracked or dirty! They play dirty tricks with their customers who don't have a receipt when they try to take the broken items back for an exchange. They reduce the price 50% and you can take it or leave it. My Mothers Day was ruined when I attempted to exchange a gift that was unexceptable to me. I was refused an exchange at the price of the merchandise. I didn't ask for money...just a like item that was in NEW condition. I will never spend another penny in a Home Goods Store or any of their other companies. I now refer to this store as NO GOODS! My home does not need their junk in it - at any price!
