Home Depot maytag fridge & stove

On may 28 of 2018 we went to home depot 600 Exterior street, Bronx NY 10451 to buy a Maytag Refrigerator for $1199.00 plus a stove for $553 totaling $1752 which were to be delivered on Jul 3rd 2018. Today my daughter didn't go to work she was sitting here with me waiting for delivery . We got a call that they will deliver bet 2:30 to 6:30 but 2:45 we got a call in Spanish and when we called them back we couldn't understand Spanish. When we called delivery service we were told at 2:30 that we should wait for the manager to call us because she was trying to call the delivery service to go back to my home as if they were there before. Later on the manager said she wont send those guys back until Thursday for the appliance i have already paid for plus what i have gone threw the entire day. Home depot doesn't value me as their customer for 15 th years and the fact how customer services were hanging on us as if we told the delivery to call us in Spanish is outrageous. Regina Asaba

Home Depot not very "customer service friendly"

This past weekend I stopped by the Home Depot in Palatka, FL. Found an exterior door I really like but it had a good sized dent. I spoke with one of the assistant managers about the chance of discounting it. He explained that he could give me 15% off, he stated that he had "too many markdowns this weekend" and could not go any further. However he encouraged me to come back during the week and as he stated "I'm sure they'd mark it down 20% for you". So... here I am... and the manager would only offer 10%! What a joke! I had about $300 worth of other supplies to pick up, but decided to take my business across the street to Lowe's. If management continues to put their customers last The Home Depot with turn out to be just like Kmart/Sears. Thanks for the piss-poor customer service Home Depot.

Home Depot credit card fraud

Back on April 23rd, 2018, I had paid my full balance before the May 4th deadline of having interest tacked on. I made a phone payment call as I have always done. Then two weeks ago I have been receiving calls from CitiBank that I have missed payments on this account. Gunnar tried to tell me that I had short changed my payment by $10 and now owe them interest of over $300 plus late fees. After paying my account I never receive a new bill. They said I had opted for electronic billing. Never did. Gunnar said if I paid the $10 then the balance will be zero and those interest charges removed. Today they tell me that I still owed a late fee. Ridiculous. CitiBank is scamming customers

Home Depot truck rentals

Both of these home depot outlets only have 1 rental truck. That's one truck, each, to serve a whole town plus northern Louisville. That's absolutely absurd. All the Louisville stores have multiple trucks, and I realize Louisville is larger than Clarksville and New Albany, but people trying to do DIY projects that don't have trucks get screwed when someone rents out a truck from the store (Clarksville) for a full day... And in this case the other store's truck (New Albany) has a broken window.
It's impossible to rent a truck for only 75 min from a store in Louisville, then pick up the lumber (you already purchased) from the New Albany store... And take it home and unload it, then get the truck back to the Louisville store.
Even if I rented the truck from the Clarksville store and went to pick up the lumber from the New Albany store, it would be difficult to get the truck back in under 75 min.
I may as well do business with Lowe's and other lumber yards, if there will be no convenience of an inexpensive truck rental at the store.
The stores could've done something to help me out, or offer some sort of alternative, or discount, or something, to make me feel like they care about my situation, or are prepared to deal with it.

Home Depot delivery of products to my residence

In June 2018 I opened a credit account with your company for the first time . Even though I have been making purchases of your products for years. The purchase was for flooring to be installed in my Master bedroom. The sales person in the store addressed all my questions, and a date was set for measuring. Which was done on the agreed time. The problem started when a time was set for delivery of the products to my home.
The first set time was for Saturday June 23rd. Late in the day my wife made a call to the purchase store (Williamsburg VA.) to find out the time of delivery. She was informed the materials we purchased were left off the delivery truck, and would not be delivered today. We were told it would be delivered the following Monday the 25th. On the 25th it was not delivered. Called again associate said he had misspoken about the 25th date. Another date was agreed too. June 27th. The truck arrived with only part of the materials. Called again, the store was informed of the missing materials and the person at the WMBG. store said now the missing material would be coming from the Mechanicsville store Richmond, VA on the 28th. Two of the three missing materials arrived on the 28th. Called again, the WMSBG store on the 28th. The missing item was located in the WMBG store and my wife had to make a 30 mile trip to pick it up herself.
So today the installer is here. Hoping for the best.
If I was charged for delivery for this purchase, I think I should be refunded.

So, if this is what I can expect as a new customer. Our relationship is going to be short lived.

Home Depot vinyl plank flooring

We purchased 1000 square feet of vinyl flooring and when we went to pay for the flooring home depot would not give us the 10 percent military discount. The manager said there were certain items in the store that we could not get the discount but couldn't tell us which items. I feel like if they are going to put 10 percent military discount on the front page of there ad then they should offer the discount on all items. I feel its false advertisement.

Home Depot home depot.com online only orders

Home depot.com Home depot is pushing to buy things online with offers to "buy within the next 2 hrs, and get it by a certain date. Their delivery times are not possible with the way they contract trucking companies. They know this when they are asking you to pay in GOOD FAITH that its not possible. As it stands today, they ship to multiple locations, where your item stays for days till a truck is full then they ship it to another location and start the process again. I ordered a grill on June 25 for the 4th of July... and PAID within the next 2 hrs to get delivery by June 29, they shipped it from MO to Akron Ohio on the 26th. I live 45 min from Akron. Then its shipped to Cleveland where it is still sitting on the 30th its been there 1.5 hrs from my house since the 27. They company Home Depot contracted say its sitting in their terminal and has been for days. They are closed till Monday and they have "more freight than drivers", direct quote, so who knows. I can check back Monday as they are closed over the weekend. Home Depot tells me I may get it by July 9th...

Home Depot installation of our floor

We have been waiting nearly 3 months for our floor to be installed. You delivered the material over 2 months ago yet nothing has been installed.Your store here in Three Rivers, Michigan where we purchased the materials and services has done nothing. We are 85 and 78 years old and are extremely inconvenienced by this situation. PLEASE HELP US. We have called and called, made numerous trips to your store in person and nothing is getting resolved. You took our money for taking measurements and took our money for delivery of the flooring yet nothing has been done.We have been loyal customers for as long as your company has been here. Why are we being mistreated? We are feeling absolutely misled by this whole episode.

Home Depot garage doors and accessories

Issue not being resolved at store level. We special ordered our garage doors well in advance to complete our garage in time for a large graduation party we were hosting for our son. We were given a timeline in which they were arriving. My husband took leave in advance to install the doors. We received a couple of calls requesting additional information on our order indicating one door showed store delivery but the other did not. They needed to know if we wanted the second door delivered to the store. So we thought this delayed our order from coming in, still no calls from the store. One of my many calls inquiring about our doors finally a kind woman told us yes your order is in. I was a little upset because no one called us to inform us that our order was in. We made arrangements to borrow a long bed to pick up our order. They came in 2 weeks for oyr deadline. A week later during his leave my husband unwrapped the panels thinking the hardware was inside the panels but were not. We had contacted the store several times, a lady was suppose to call us back but never did. I finally made a trip which is an hour away 65 miles to the store to talk to someone in person. I was told that lady no longer worked in resolutions but referred it to the new one which we left messages for but she never returned our calls and that is why i went in to see a manager. After spending a couple of hours there they filed a claim which was approved but because of the holiday they couldnt give us a timeline when the hardware would come in we would have to wait till the following week. Once again no one would call us back. Finally my husband was able to speak to a male manager and explained how bad their service has been. Here we are still waiting for our parts and of course its taking us to follow up with them. We still are waiting on a call back. Apparently some of our parts are in according to the customer service dept. Its seems to me that the store is disorganised the computer indicates the product is in but they cant find it. Ive been sad because we have these doors but no hardware to put them up. We have received two monthly cycled bills for product we dont have and cant put up what we do have. I told the manager i taljed to that if i was the manager over seeing this nightmare i would have gotten product ordered through assembly called the surrounding stores and gathered the parts from them to acquire the total. The store can replenish the parts once received by colpart. Knowing that we just built a $30, 000 garage which needed materials to build it and i would go above and beyond to make them happy to keep their business. I want to return these doors get our credit card credited and i will never do business with this local store in santa fe new mexico again. What makes me the most upset is that no one returns our calls or follows up. Can you please help us?

Home Depot appliance and delivery.

Ordered dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, and stove for a new kitchen from Home depot. We had them delivered. The refrigerator was broken on the truck so it did not get delivered. We had to come back to the job and wait for redelivery a week later. I went to move the stove they installed and there was no anti tip device installed. When the replacement refrigerator came( same delivery guys) I asked about the anti tip device. They don't install them, , WHAT?, , But they managed to find one on the truck and handed it to me.
They brought the new refrigerator in, put the doors on, put the water filter in, plugged it in, and left. So I hooked up the water line. Guess what the water and ice maker don't work.
We unpack the microwave, it is dented, so we plugged it in and it makes a screeching noise.
Next we put the dishwasher in and noticed that the door was not closing right. The case is bent fortunately I was able to bend it back somewhat but still it was bent. The door seems to close now but we won't know if it seals right until the countertops come tomorrow and we hook up the drain line. The next step according to Home Depot is to call the company that delivered the product. They tell us they will send somebody out to look and see what is wrong with the refrigerator. The delivery guys show up look at the refrigerator and say "oh it's definitely defective and we will turn it in and you get a new one" this will be the third refrigerator. The microwave I turned on for them they said "that's definitely defective too". We are we having the countertops installed tomorrow. The kitchen is 2 months overdue. I'm still waiting on a refrigerator and the microwave. They said it won't be until July 9th, another 2 weeks, until someone comes out to inspect the microwave, and the refrigerator too, I guess, from whirlpool to see what's wrong with it and what will be done next. This is all coming through Home Depot whether it's the delivery people or whoever they are, they are hired by Home Depot. The problem all started with Home Depot. If the building inspector were to look at the stove install they would definitely fail it. First thing they do is pull on the stove. The tip guard was supposed to be in the stove and had been removed, so I couldn't have installed it without the installers comming back with the part. Home depot doesn't even sell the anti tip device. The first person we contacted about the anti tip device missing told us they don't use them on electric ranges only on gas ranges so it doesn't pull on the gas line. In my 40 years of doing kitchens I have never heard anything that unintelligent regarding stoves. I have a family waiting to move in 1st week of July.
I guess the microwave will get put off in the corner as we await the outcome of this complete breakdown in customer service from every aspect. I think from now on I am going to use local appliance stores and advise all my customers, family, and freinds to do the same. It doesn't matter how much more it costs, I lost any savings buy having to pay my helper for now 2 days and lost 2 days of my time not to mention the 90 mile trip each way, for the 4th time. Which should only been 2 times. We are now over $800.00 in lost time fuel and wages with the meter still running. Really stinks. Thumbs down to home depot.

Home Depot design department

On 4/25/18 I went into Home Depot to order window coverings for a 3 glass panel sliding door plus a 2 panel slider. On that date I picked out a Levelor product that I was told looked like drapery but had vertical blinds embedded in them to block out light and heat. On that day I was assisted by Taylor Frederick. The measurement were done a couple of weeks after that. I waited for Home Depot to contact me. Never heard back. I contacted them by phone 2 months later and spoke with dept manager Dede Proffer who told me that was not the process for obtaining window coverings at the store and that Taylor basically didn't know what he was doing. I was told to come into the store which I did on 6/26/18. At that point I spoke with Staci Nay as Dede wasn't immediately available. Staci's demeanor was unapologetic and acted as if I was bothering her. She too said Taylor didn't know what he was doing. After showing her what I had picked out she proceeded to try to order that product I had previously picked out. At that point Dede arrived and told her that that product was NOT a drape with the vertical blinds embedded but just vertical blinds proving that Staci apparently did not know what she was doing either and I had been misinformed by Taylor. Dede told me, after looking at a couple of products that might work offered me a service where the Hunter Douglas Designer would come to my home and help me find something to suit my needs. I agreed to that. The Hunter Douglas rep called me today and told me that they DO NOT come out to Wickenburg.
To call the department I came to to try to get service, a designer dept, is more than laughable. The level of incompetence is stupendous. I will be following up with the BBB and will subsequently take my business elsewhere.

Home Depot delivery of lg washer, dryer, and kitchen aid microwave

Re; order id h617585904

i have waited 3 separate times for delivery of an lg washer and dryer. The first time the delivery was way too late out of the window allowed by my building.
Last week the delivery crew didn't have the correct installation equipment.
Today the dryer was delivered damaged and according to the driver, broken.
The crew left without letting me know.
When i called dispatch, arlene informed me that virginia, the dispatcher had released the driver from the delivery.

Marc, the assistant manager at the 23rd street manhattan store, was not consulted by the delivery company.

The ineptitude and lack of consideration for a customer's time and money is unacceptable.

I have waited for this merchandise for months, only to be treated with disrespect and indifference. The delivery company is impossible to reach, and unacceptably, outrageously rude.

Home Depot inappropriate cashier attitude/behavior

I am a disabled veteran. Due to Home Depot's policy of giving Veterans a 10% discount I have been purchasing all my home project supplies and materials at HD for many years now and will even go out of my way to do so. I value this discount and really feel good when your cashier says to me "Thank You for your service". This is something that was unheard of until recently especially during and after the Viet Nam war when I was in the military.

On 6/27/18 I entered your store located in Eagle, Idaho and made a purchase. Your cashier Gayle in the Nursery Dept. was on duty. I presented her with my VA ID card and asked for the VA discount. Not only did she not thank me for my service, but she failed to give me the discount. I asked her about that and she apologized but said that there was no way to correct the mistake now that the transaction had been processed. I was appalled at her attitude that I should just absorb the loss which was only 81 cents, but at this point it was the principle of the matter and her poor attitude only made the situation worse. Due to Gayle's attitude and not being serious I said to her that she should cover the 81 cents herself since she made the mistake and should rectify the matter if there was not any other way to fix the problem. After a scene was made at the register with other customers waiting to check out I asked for my change and then went to your Customer Service Desk at the front of the store where the matter was resolved quickly and politely.

I will continue to purchase all of my home supplies at Home Depot. I feel that HD's policy is a good one and I respect and admire HD for showing the Veterans a small token of their appreciation. I am not going to let 1 of your employees spoil the long term relationship that I have had with Home Depot for many years now.

Home Depot unprofessional behavior

One of the many depts. Is the key center. The key machine has filters/molds for certain car models and therefore makes key copies (non-programmable). I had 2 made there 4 years ago with no issue for an old jeep but ran into an argument this time when I tried to have 2 made again (these key fobs are very flimsy and break easily so I have several blank spares). The lady first refused to make the key, then after I told her it is not a programmable key she very rudely looked up the key and found the copy. After I told her I did not want her spare, I wanted my own spare cut she went back into the same argument that they don't program keys. I told her, listen: this is a mechanical key, this key is a copy of the original and was cut here at this store 4 years ago. You just entered the info in the computer and found the key so what is the problem? I know you can make a copy and althought I don't want the blank you carry in the store I know I have to pay for it. She replied: I cannot promise this key will work, it will not be guaranteed. You may have to bring it back and we'll try to cut another but without the programming they more likely will not work. So I said, nver mind this is supidity! — I want a key cut not a fob programmed. Home depot cuts car keys everyday for all the cars in the computer system for which they carry spares. The jeep is one of them and the keys they made 4 years ago work just fine except the fob broke. This woman is rude, obnoxious and to be honest uninformed to be running the key department. There should be someone there capable of cutting keys without arguing with clients...

Home Depot retainer wall cap

I bought 10 retainer wall cap at Home Depot in Kent, WA. The address at the store is 26120 104th ave SE Kent WA 98030.
I bought those back to return and the customer service lady name Tammy refused to retuen those for me. She said those are discontinued already and there is no way she could do a return on those. I told her but I bought it from here and you could look up the receipt from my credit card. After that, she said she didn't find it and use the same excuse that there is now online, not in her store and the sky is no longer in the system. I asked if I could speak to her manager. And the manager came out, her name is Debbie, she said she is an assistant manager, and she could not return those discontinued product. I told her why it would be my fault while you guys no longer carry your products? And it's only 10 of them, cost about less than 20 bucks while we purchased thousands of dollars a from your store? We just recently remodeled our home, plus doing lots of stuff for our garden. Home Depot treated me like crap today over 20 dollars product and it's not even our fault that they discontinued their items. I'm very disappointed at the decision Debbie made.
Would you please give me a call as I wanted to file an complaint about this issue

Home Depot associate's customer service

I don't know why I continue to shop at the Home Depot where I live.
less than a year ago I bought a washer and dryer and dishwasher a refrigerator and a stove. Biggest mistake I ever made.
within 2 months of having the appliances the washer had to be fixed twice, The dryer had to be fixed. The oven still doesn't work and they came out 3 times to fix it. The dishwasher was repaired once so far. when I contacted the Home Depot about all these issues and told him I want them replace them with a different kind they thought it was funny and said no.
Another experience I had last month. Went to the Home Depot I needed someone to help me out with Lumber, (Doing some construction in some of my properties) I found 3 Associates standing engaging in a conversation about their weekend. So I stood next to them, They all looked at me and acknowledge that I was waiting to ask them a question, they turn their face and continue the conversation. I waited for 3 minutes standing there. got the stuff in my hand put it down and walked out! And not one of them turned around and said ma'am I'm sorry can we help you! disappointed once again!
2 days ago I go to the same home depot, To buy a grill. Because the grill I bought from them 8 months ago for $200 was no longer working surprise surprise! so I went back to buy another one a smaller one this time. I asked one of the employees standing there at the door, I guess greeting people, And asked him if someone could give me a hand with a Grill if i decided to purchased it ~ He looked at me and said haha everybody's trying to Buy grills and some of the grills don't even fit in the back of their trucks. So I told him I would need a screwdriver just to take off one piece of the grill and it would fit perfectly.
and once again he just laughed and said "Good luck! and walked away. I cannot tell you how frustrating and pissed off I was.
I Drove to my company and was Fuming! Two of my employees said they had a similar experience at this location. it was an inconvenience for me a waste of gas a waste of my time .
I pay my Home Depot Bill and I'm never late with it. it pisses me off that I pay for a stove that doesn't even work it pisses me off that I have to pay for a washer and dryer that had more repairs to it than it's worth. And the list goes on!

Home Depot ars

We purchased a brand new Heating and Air Conditioning unit from Home Depot and exactly 3 years to the date of a 10 year warranty the compressor stopped working. Contacted ARS, the service arm of home depot, and was scheduled an appointment for June 22, 2018 between the hours of 9am to 1pm. At 1pm I made my first phone call and spoke to "Emily" who could not get ahold of the technician "Carter" and informed me that she would call me back soon with an estimated time of arrival. Mind you, I was on the phone for 48 minutes with that call. Well, at 315pm after not hearing back from "Emily" I called again and then spoke to "Virginia" who also could not reach the technician to let me know what time he/she would be there. I asked to speak to a supervisor and waited another 40 minutes to speak to "Tom" who apologized and all in all said, "he gets there when he gets there". Sorry, we have people who have been waiting a day an a half for service. Well Home Depot, if that is the standard you are trying to achieve, "Congratulations" because that is exactly where my service standard is at but quickly increasing by the hour. Shame on "The Home Depot". I should have figured it out since when I purchased my double pane life time guaranteed windows I had the same issue with service. Wow! Incredible.
