Home Depot riding mower delivery

I ordered the Z Beast mower with home delivery. It was supposed to be delivered and unloaded at the house. The carrier called to say it didn't fit their liftgate so they sent the mower on a 53' Semi. I do have a tractor and loader so was able to unload the mower with chains by lifting it and backing it off the trailer. If anything would have broken or came unhooked the mower would have been ruined. I returned my original order email with this information but they apparently are not going to reply. At the least I should be reimbursed for the liftgate charge the carrier added.

Home Depot allure flooring

I had about 1000 soft of allure flooring installed 4 years ago in a house with with a concrete slab flooring. I also installed 1/4" plywood on top of the cSlab as a barrier for the allure. After about 12 months I noticed separation between the 6" planks and slight bucking. Over time both got worse until the bucking in the dining room got so bad it was a tripping hazard. Called the company and they sent a guy out to inspect the flooring. All I can say is the 25 year product warranty is a sham.. they declined my claim because I had a west facing window with blinds and it was seeing too much sun.. the blinds in that room are always closed so the flooring sees virtually my sun at all.. they also said the 57% humidity in the house was the wrong humidity for that time of the year... what a crock of [censored].

Do not buy Home Depot Allure flooring.. . it's a crap product and the warranty isn't worth the paper it's printed on.

Home Depot service at the door and window department

I had an appointment at 5:30 pm PST at the Silverdale, WA Home Depot, today, May 11, 2018. I had made this appointment May 6, 2018. This appointment was with the door and window department. I was going to purchase and have installed a screen door.
I arrived at the store at 5:13, used the restroom, and was at the department by 5:15. There was only one associate there, and she was already engaged with a customer. I made the decision to look through the doors and various pamphlets available. As I was looking at the doors an associate, Skip, looked at me and continued walking without acknowledging me.
As my 5:30 appointment time approached I returned to the counter, another customer came up and was acknowledged by the associate there, she had not once acknowledged me. She informed the customer that the other associate, Garrett, was still on lunch. The customer said he would be back and left. Garrett is the associate I was to have the appointment with. I continued to stand there, looking at pamphlets. Another customer approached, holding a frame for a door window. A few minutes later Garrett returned from his lunch. It was 5:35, five minutes after my prescheduled appointment. This other customer was acknowledged, where I was not. Garrett chose to help this man who arrived after I had, and who did not have an appointment.
Garrett continued to assist the customer, without acknowledging my presence. The customer stood and walked off to look at some products, another associate approached Garrett, they had an exchange of equipment, I still did not get acknowledged.
I waited till 5:45, half an hour after I had first arrived in the department and fifteen minutes after my scheduled appointment. Not once did I get acknowledged. I then left and went to the customer service desk where four associates were chatting. I asked if there was a manager on duty. One of the associates asked if there was anything that they could help with. I explained the situation, and the response I got was two of the other associates checking the schedule of employees with a "Garrett is usually really nice. That doesn't seem right."
The manager appeared, after being told that I wished to speak to him, he waited for me to approach him, instead of coming to greet me. I once again explained the situation, said that I was going to take my business elsewhere, and all I got was "Ok" and "Sorry". He then asked if I had interjected at any point to say I had an appointment. It is not my responsibility to say I have an appointment when I was at the department well before my appointment time, I am a woman, my name was available to Garrett who knew he had an appointment, and he was late, then when he returned didn't bother to acknowledge me and turned to the man standing there.
To me this was a clear decision on his part to not speak with me. I had intended to spend $200-$300 today, with plans to return for other instillations. I informed the manager that I did not wish to hear "Sorry", but rather that he would deal with the associate. To my back he said "I planned to."

At 6:30 pm I received a phone call from Garrett. He called to explain and apologize for the mix-up. He stated that the other associate had not informed him that his appointment was there, but since I was and had been standing there, it was not her job to let him know. He then stated that once he starts with a customer he tries to stick with them, giving them all his attention. I reminded him of the interaction with a fellow employee that was mid his taking care of that other customer.

I have limited spare time. I work full time, provide care for my disabled mother, and am in university. I made the appointment so that I could guarantee that I would get the screen door. The screen door was to be a gift for my mother. Being ignored by all associates that came in and around the department did not sit well with me. The feeling that the manager was just trying to get me to stop being angry made it worse. I did not appreciate lack of respect that I received. I know they did not like that I was angry, and do not know my personal situation, but their lack of caring caused even more frustration for me. I also did not appreciate a phone call from the associate that was supposed to have an appointment with me yet ignored me.

Home Depot consumer credit card

I was completely mortified and embarassed while in the store this evening. I need a roof for my home and chose to use HOME DEPOT. I had the quote and went in to take advantage of the zero percent 18 month promotion.
The process took so long the store closed. I ended up with the sales associate and the manager and was denied the consumer card even tho i have great credit. I am a full time worker and am married and have owned my own home for 5 years now. My bank loves me so why would i be denied by HOME DEPOT!?
I am doing a huge renovation of my home and doing a roof and HOME DEPOT has lost my faith and business!
I am a midde age woman who didnt deserve to be humiliated and kept in the store over an hour to be denied without reason.
Now i have to look elsewhere for a roof and full kitchen

Home Depot lawn treatment

I went in tonight to the Greenfield, In store to buy some lawn treatment. I mentioned it to the cashier at the lawn treatment I had bought last weekend leaked all over my brand new Jeep. I was not looking for a refund due to the fact I did not have my receipt or the empty bottle. The cashier told me to go to customer service since I paid with my credit card and they would take care of me. When I got in line the store manager Ed helped me. He asked me four times who told me that someone would help me with this re: replacement. He was very rude and condescending. He did not hand me a store receipt all he said was I took care of it it was taken care of. I headed back down to the other side of the store to pay for my items because he would not help me there. When I got to the other side the store I apologize to both cashiers I told them that their store manager Ed was an [censored]. Next thing I knew the store manager was at the end of the line and very rudely told the cashier I took care of it we will talk about this. I don't appreciate how he talk to me Or your employees. I shop there all the time and it makes me not want to go back into that store due to his rudeness. What happened to customer service these days? Like I said I was not looking for a refund I was just stating the fact and trying to get information if they had had trouble with these bottles before due to the fact it it leaked all over my car.

Home Depot delivery of flooring

I recently purchased some linoleum at Home Depot in Burlington, NC. I asked that it be delivered as I had no truck or person to help me carry it in the house. The delivery charge was $99 plus an additional $25 to have the flooring placed in the house. The house being delivered to is a rental house which I am have to renovate so it is currently unoccupied. It is located no more than 2 miles from Home Depot. The delivery charge was outrageous for the distance. The delivery person's behavior towards me was inappropriate. He was frustrated that he had to wait on me to get to the house to open the door, but he only gave me a 5 minute notice that he was on his way and I had explained to the sales person at Home Depot that I did not live at the house and could they please call me and give me an estimated time of arrival. When I got there he had already laid the flooring on the porch and just wanted me to sign some papers. I told him that I had paid extra to have the flooring put inside the house and he really was not happy about that. He shoved the flooring through the front door and slammed it on the floor and left. I have several thousands of dollars at Home Depot on this renovation project as well as many other purchases. The delivery fee was unreasonable for the distance and the attitude of the employee was offensive and unacceptable.

Typical. But where else are you gonna go? It's like 1955 all over again. 1 or maybe 2 stores with a product, and it costs exactly the same wherever you get it. No competition like there was 50 years ago. We are evolving backwards.

Home Depot service of salesmen

Very rude and non caring sales persons in the store. Everybody was rude in the store and no one wanted to help. We asked for help twice in two different areas and no one came. We were about to spend over 1, 000 dollars in store and walked away because of the customer service we never received. It's ridiculous because when we found the actual worker he was bent over the counter talking to a female... absurd!

Home Depot employee rudeness

Went shopping at the home depot in zachary, La because we are looking for new cabinets and the employee who so called helped us was rude. He didn't give us a chance to talk, he kept interrupting me. I won't be going back to that store for my new cabinets. I will find another home depot to shop at. The guy asked us for our measurements of the kitchen which we did have and he gonna say oh no I can't do nothing with that. His attitude was not helpful at all. We are new customers looking for new cabinets for our new house and he barely wanted to help or let us talk. . All we wanted was a consult from him because he knows more than we know.

Home Depot ge washer purchased online

We purchased a GE washing machine, model GTW680BSJ5WS, serial # FL151683G online in March to be delivered to our new home in Grand Junction, Colorado on April 5 along with a dryer and refrigerator. All were delivered with ease and by professional nice people. All seemed to be fine until we began to use the GE washer when it was discovered that the intake valve was malfunctioning. Even when the machine was powered off water continued to come into the washer. This is where our frustrations began. First I contacted the delivery people who told us we should call them the first year with problems. I was not able to get any help and when I got finally could reach a person it was for maytag and they would look up my order and then cut off my call. Next I called our local Grand Junction store and spoke with some one who said, you have to talk to GE. Then I had to set up an appointment with a local GE appliance repair company. He was very nice and came saying yes it needed a new intake valve however he would have to order it which would be at least another week to get it. That was last week and I am waiting to hear from him and feel it will be fixed. Now it is a month since our washer was delivered and I have to go to a laundry for washing clothes. Overall, we are very satisfied with our appliances and also purchased and had window coverings installed through Home Depot. We have found this washer to be a big problem for us and feel we should have been offered a new machine at the time this happened as one expects a new machine to work. Thank you. Home Depot windows

It is much too long a story to go into here. I can do that in a follow up with the all details. But the order I placed with Home Depot for windows for my home was, I believe, based on wrong and misleading information from the salesman and caused me to think that the only option in my price range was to purchase these windows I did not really want. I found out yesterday that this was not true and, as a result, I refused the installation and had the windows returned to their warehouse.
I have spoken and emailed and texted with multiple people at HD about this and now I am threatened with being charged a large sum of money if I do not accept what I ordered. I know they are trying to intimidate me into accepting the order I believe I was misinformed about.
The only reason I never cancelled, and I did contact them several times asking to cancel, was because I believed, based on what I was originally told, that I had no other options for the windows... so I was stuck with them even tho they were not what I really wanted. And, as I said, when they showed up yesterday to be installed, I was told the information I was given by the salesman initially was incorrect and I could have had, for the most part, what I wanted from the beginning.
So, I would like to open a formal dispute on this order to resolve what I believe to be a mistake on the part of Home Depot.
I do take responsibility for not cancelling. But I did that based on the erroneous information I had at the time the order was placed.
Please advise on how to proceed.

Sincerely, Barbra Rhinehart

Home Depot flooring installation

Signed contract with local Home Depot store on April 6, 2018 to purchase and install carpet and vinyl flooring in my basement. Contract stated Installer would contact me. On May 2, 2018, after about a month had elapsed and still no contact from Installer, contacted local store for assistance. Store employees were indifferent, unhelpful and even rude, suggesting they were not at fault and could not help. They said fault was with Installer and Supplier. They said they would have Installer call me on that date. Installer still has not called. I don't know the status of my contract or even if an Installer actually exists. Cannot wait much longer. Need to get work done. Home Depot people very defensive and deceitful, always shifting blame to others. Need to cancel contract and look for another flooring source, but not sure how to go about it. I chose Home Depot in an effort to save a few dollars. Bad mistake. Will not be repeated.

Home Depot tool rental

I recently rented a belt sander from the Home Depot tool rental department on Coors and I40 in Albuqueruque. New Mexico. Today I received a call from an individual at equipment recovery and I was told I owed money for the belt sander I paid for at the tool rental department. I promptly called the store to investigate as I had paid in full for this rental. It was at this point, after talking to a store manager named Vanessa, that I discovered a claim was made against me for a part that was missing from the belt sander when I returned it. Problem is: I did not know there was a part missing when I rented it and I was not responsible for it being missing. (Seems there was a clip that is attached to the bag of the sander that they are holding me responsible for losing). Hence this complaint. I was told that I now owe $81.00 for a missing clip that probably costs less than a dollar. The price for this item--$81.00--seems to have been compounded at a fixed price by Home Depot from the day I rented the unit. My opinion this is a dishonest practice for 3 reasons: 1. I was not aware of a missing part until the day I returned the belt sander and hence I do not believe I should be held accountable for it. 2. When I discussed the matter with the individual I returned the tool to--and informed him I did not see the part he claims was missing--he did not advise me I would have to pay compound daily interest for it. 3. The practice of trying to charge good and loyal customers excessive penalties for a missing part unknown to the customer seems not only unfair but dishonest and extortionate. I have spoken to management at the store level. I have contacted customer care and I am now sending this note to the corporate office and asking someone there to intercede on my behalf and to waive this fee. I also warn all potential customers who do business with Home Depot to be aware that their business practices and how they deal with good loyal customers is horrible. I have spent thousand upon thousands of dollars at Home Depot and to have this kind of treatment speaks volumes about what Home Depot thinks about loyal customers. If this issue is not resolved--and I am not absolved of any wrong doing and the extortionate penalty fee is not waived. I am going to spend my off time writing complaints about the dishonest practice here outlined and cease and desist from patronizing Home Depot immediately.

Home Depot bathroom remodel

Our complaint is with Atlas Home Improvement which is the only contractor offered for a bathtub refinish or replacement. The install crew was good but the salesperson was the worst I've ever dealt with. Also, Atlas salesperson told us they don't and won't install any Home Depot products but we can use Home Depot credit card and promotion to pay for their work. (Which is how we could afford the work) All of their products are triple the price of Home Depot's products. The salesperson told us we could get the same setup but they had to cover up a marble ledge and pay extra for shelves. We didn't like that but agreed. We also had a towel rack and a 2nd shower head which we thought was included when he said "the same setup" He only said we had to pay extra for the towel rack. We thought we were getting the 2nd shower head but only found out during the install that we weren't. Since we couldn't afford their $800 shower door we went with a curtain and would try to buy a shower door fro Home Depot for $200 and install it. The person installing everything told us we may not want them to bolt in their curtain rod if we were going to put in a door so he said he would take it back and give us credit for it and we could use a tension rod until we make a decision. Now the salesperson Eric Hoss said he can only give us partial credit for it? We felt we were cheated by this salesperson which was referred by Home Depot

Home Depot appliances

It's obvious Home Depot does not care about its customers.

I bought a Samsung 22.6 cu. ft. 4-Door French Door Refrigerator

It's pretty but that's about it. The shelves and door shelves are way too small for regular sized items.

Also, nowhere on the website does it tell you that you actually need a space that is 40 inches wide so you can open the doors. I did not learn this until after they dropped it off (in the middle of my kitchen) and left. They did not unpack it or push it into its location, so I was unpleasantly surprised after I took off all the wrapping, figured out how to install the shelves, pushed it back into position and couldn't open the doors. I called Home Depot within an hour of the fridge being dropped off and they told me they would not take it back and there is nothing I can do about it.

Now I'm out $3, 000 and have a fridge in the middle of my kitchen. The only hope I have of making it fit is to either tear out a wall or tear my upper cabinets off and cut my granite counter top by 3 inches.

Thanks for nothing Home Depot. I will be sure to tell everyone I possibly can about how you treat your customers. Never again.

Home Depot delivery of new refrigerator

HOME DEPOT Fridge to be delivered yesterday between 8 and 12 was not here at 12:15 so My husband called. It seems they "forgot " to load it on the delivery truck. I tool a day off work to be home when it came, packed food into coolers. rolled up rugs and moved furniture to prepare. They would not have even notified me that they were not coming. Now we must live out of coolers (from Sat to Tues) when they can bring it. Our refrigerator is no longer functioning .Food is spoiling in coolers, buying much ice. This is a horrible transaction and I will never buy from them again. They send me a gift card. BIG deal. Does not cover my lost pay or ice bill. Lack of concern is evident.

Home Depot shower stall

I just left Home Depot Yonkers store so frustrated. We bought a shower last week which came in three parts. The base and shower doors were in one box and the walls in a separate box. When we purchased it last week, the Home Depot worker checked the shower wall box since it was open on one end and he said all parts were in the box. We brought it home and installed the base first. When we opened the box with the walls, we realized there was no screws and there was a hairline crack in the wall. We called the store and the manager on duty said that this item is not in stock in his store or any other and appears to be discontinued. He said to bring it in and he would return it and then discount it. We would need to buy an Apoxy repair kit and some screws. He said he would make it worth our while. Now let's not forget, we have spent approximately 100, 000 dollars in this store over the past two years fixing up an old home. Tonight we brought the walls back to the store and unfortunately the manager we spoke to was off duty. We spoke to a manager after waiting to speak to her for about 20 minutes as she stood looking at her computer when she knew we were waiting. She offered to tak 10% off the price of the walls which would be about $20 and 50% off the approxy and screws. We could have the walls sent from the warehouse express however I would have to pay $80 for delivery. I explained that this is not fair, it was so difficult bringing these walls back and forth . The manager said that we bought this on clearance because of the missing parts and crack. No one told us it was on clearance or that it was damaged. I am shocked that this is what the manager offered to do for us. I also shop at lowes and the customer service is excellent. We would never have been treated this way. We did not return the walls hoping that Home Depot will do the right thing.

Home Depot paint department

I visited the Home Depot on 7677 East Broadway Tucson Arizona. Last night April 27th you're my dad went to purchase paint $400 worth the staff was very unprofessional they were talking to each other about personal things joking around. They acted like they were being bothered to help the customers. I was waiting for my paint to be completed it was put on the desk they looked right at me said nothing that it was done I asked and they rudely said yes. I found the customer service to be extremely poor. I would hope so at Home Depot would be able to correct the situation or possibly put employees two classes on how to treat customers in a friendly manner. I'm about to buy Carpet and a new kitchen along with appliances. And now I'm thinking of going elsewhere do two poor customer service.

Home Depot C/C Home Depot keeps two on file as far back as 2005

Carol Tome
You should be fired
You Could and should-have stopped the 2014 hacking Of 56 million customers. When I filed my lawsuit in 2007 in federal court in Green Bay Wisconsin Parent v Home Depot and Citibank. You knew from my case and depositions that your employees can go on the POS system and run off whatever credit cards they want, one right after the other doesn't matter if it's Visa, MasterCard, Home Depot card... In my lawsuit we found out that " you Carol" new Home Depot keeps two files on your credit card. One with your full credit card information date, time etc... The other one shows The same. But like you're supposed to it's XXXXX4367 That's the one they give you, they don't tell you that they keep all your information Stored on the POS system. And your Home Depot employees can go in the POS system and run off credit cards even six months after these people put it on There credit card. Imagine how many times this must have happened throughout all the Home Depot stores in all the states. And I can go back as far as 2005. Now Carol I want to read what BusinessWeek reported that they give you a C level security and that Management states that it would be too expensive and would disrupt business. These former employees Disclosed That when they attempted to strengthen security, they were rebuffed by home depot executives, including information - security chief Jeff Mitchell. Also the New York Times states. The newspaper revealed that Home Depot's employees knew the company was at risk, even before the breach, Some members of a security team left as managers dismiss their concerns. Others wondered how Home Depot met industry standards for protecting customers data. One went so far as to warn friends to use cash, rather than credit cards, at the company stores. Again Carol if you would have done the right thing in my case instead of me having to fight it in court, you could've stopped all this. But customers in the long run mean nothing to you or your corporate people. In life sometimes you need to think of your customers and not your greedy pocketbook.Carol you've gotten letters from me.As far back as 2007, I've told you how much is all costed me, and now I have no retirement, no savings, and now because of you Carol, I will have to work till I either die or I can't work no more. I feel sorry for you.In the end the judge threw out my case because my lawyer Brian Pagle of Madison Wisconsin suit under the Wisconsin consumer act, and then let Citibank off and told us that we can sue Home Depot. Wrong wrong wrong. The judge after years throughout my case because Home Depot does not issue a credit card And is not a Debt collector. To this day I can't believe that Brian could've been that dumb I feel that someone got in the way of my case. Not only did we not get the cover letter sent from the Green Bay Home Depot store at 6:22 in the morning being faxed to Citibank with my hand written credit card number on top and lots of other peoples credit card information. Also my lawyer would not get copies of time cards on that day, again at 6:22 AM how many employees can really be there. I also deposition Home Depot employees, but I never found out about one employee name Susan until after my case was over. It was in my lawyers files and the letter shows that Susan was interacting with who's credit card they transferred Over to my account. I showed The federal courts that information and they told me that's what they were looking for, also in court the judge kept telling Brian to put up or shut up, and also that he didn't understand federal law. Also In Rockland Texas in 2013 A employee Realized he could put a thumb drive to the side of the computer and he ran off 36, 000 credit cards and sold 10, 000 before he got caught. So after all of this I think Carol Tomé should be fired why should she make 5 million a year and I live week by week now until I die. I can't tell you the stress, my health, my Family, and the Tens of thousands of dollars this all costed me, and the hell that you put me through. Thanks Tim Parent if you want to look up this case go to the United States District Court Eastern District of Wisconsin Tim Parent v Citi Bank and Home Depot case number 09 - C - 951 and look at what I sent That's on file after my case was thrown out. And then you decide if my lawyer Brian was? I wouldn't be surprised

Home Depot service

. WD13695713. My washer was to be delivered on the 21st. We waited until 9pm and received a call the delivery was late. The driver said he would deliver the washer on Tuesday. I took the day off and waited all day. I called and was told there was no scheduled delivery. I then was told the delivery would be Friday. I called this morning and was told I was 20th on line between 4:15 and 8 pm. Today is my birthday and my kids are taking me to dinner at 6pm. When I called the customer service agent said I can reschedule for May 1. I could have purchased the same washer at Lowe's for the same price and two day delivery. Very inconsiderate and incompetent company
