Home Depot credit card

Enticed to get a hd credit card 0% interest for 1 yr if you spend over a certain amount which we did. We were building a garage and breezeway and needed many more items. We were led to believe we could use that same card and it would be 0%. Notttt! we made multi trips to hd some items less some items more, but all under $200 but way over $200 all together. Imagine my surprise when I got a bill with interest. When I called I was told it was only for the original order. Each order has to be over. Very deceiving. We could have used our cabela's card and gotten points, what a waste. We spent so much money there. Well we are not done yet so lowes, ace hardware, valu home center here we come

Home Depot ge refrigerator delivery

On Dec. 22nd I was scheduled to have my refrigerator and second icemaker installed. I received a call at 10am I missed it . I called them right back at 10am to inform them I was at home and available. They informed me they would be there by 1030am. I sat in my living room with both parents sitting and they never showed up. At 1130 I called the delivery service and support told me they were on another delivery. I was like but they never came here. It is now 4pm I called the 800 number on my email. They informed me I should have a tag on my door. the tag was on the ground. No one ever knocked on my door or rang my bell and the deliverers told dispatch they waited 30 min and got no response. They would not come back. The delivery was changed from Dec 26 to Dec27th Next delivery they change out old frig and replace new frig but tell me the second ice maker is broke and that I have to call and have them send another and another delivery would have to be made. Jan 2nd the delivery was made but only bringing the ice maker the person said he was not qualified to install the icemaker. Jan 4th the guys come to install icemaker. They did just that installed Ice maker hey didnt change the water line so the icemaker would work for both icemakers. I am now having to have them come yet again on the 10th to correctly install the icemaker. I am beyond disappointed with the delivery service you have to ship product. I left a message with the manager at the home depot in Snellville with no return call back as of yet. I spoke to the salesperson and she directed me to call the manager of shipping services. It should not have taken this long. I pray I will be done with home depot and this delivery service. I have used home depot for a lot of things and this has never happened. I promise I will never purchase any more big items from your establishment again. Pissed

Home Depot access to product and store

I am restoring a forclosure house and shop at hd almost every day for the last 3 months. Almost every time I am in the store there is one or more aisle closed off with gates. Some times there is not any activity in the aisle, or only one end has a gate up.

Other issue is that one of the entrance to the store near the pro parking is compleatly blocked by carts or pro parking. I have experienced several close calls with vehicles and people or carts that people are pushing after the make there way around all the obstructions and then try to get to their vehicle walking in the main travel lane.

In summer the entire side walk, in front of the store and fire lane, is blocked with product.

Home Depot credit card

I had closed my home depot credit card account, the woman at the register said that if I opened a new card I would receive $50.00 off my next purchase.
I fell for their scam, they kept my old card open - reported I had not made a payment for a charge I didn't make, ran up what they claim was a purchase of less than $30.00.
It was a complete fraud!

Home Depot home depot would not replace a product they sold with warranty!!! bad business

I bought 2 back pack leaf blowers for my son in laws. Both tore up.. Wasn't worth 2 cents from day one! (remington) I paid over 400.00. When returned to store to find out what to do. The store charged me to send them back. Then remington charged me to fix one of them. They blamed it on owner.. This is not true! They took very good care of them. They put the blame on the owners to keep from taking responsibility for the crappy product. So they said that both leaf blowers that tore up that were used by different people at different places tore up about the same time is the owners fault both tore up... Both was crap... When we purchased them. I could not get replacement or money back. Remington customer service sucks! But home depot would not make the product they sold to me good. I spent now well over 500.00 for purchase and repairs and the stupid thing still wouldn't blow out a candle. The home depot store in cedartown ga. Says sorry there is nothing we can do its remington. Well home depot.com took my money for the remington product (junk) they sold. Home depot should refund my money. I spend thousands of dollars there every year for the past 10 years and I get this kind of crappy business.. I wouldn't be afraid to say I have spent 200 thousand dollars at that store with building our house and all appliances bought there. This is a shame. Home Depot flooring

I've already called in a complaint but wanted to also submit it in writing.
I purchased flooring to be installed, when the installers came they tore up over 1/2 my flooring then complained there was mold and the floor was wet (there was no mold and the floor was dry)
They left my living/dining room a mess with half the floor tore up and debris from the old flooring everywhere.
I have no idea when the flooring will be put in and feel like I should be compensated for my time lost from work and having to finish removing the flooring myself as well as the frustration and inconvenience this has caused me.
I'm a single older woman and I can't afford to take time off work especially when the flooring never was finished and I'll need to take additional time off to get the job finished.
I enclosed a picture of how they left my house and how it looked after I finished removing all the old flooring so I could live in my home until the flooring is finished

Home Depot home depot credit card

Do not get this card! We were duped into applying for this card by home depot giving a large credit on the purchase. Well, wouldn't you think if we had a balance left that we would have a received a statement saying so? Nope! Only because we receive a monthly statement on inquires etc. On our credit did we see we had been reported for being 30 days over due of a $4 payment, now doubled to $8. Forget trying to find someone to talk to by searching on line. I was transferred here, there, everywhere and back again. Certainly took more than $8 worth of my time. Finally talked with a woman who admitted that we had never received a statement, as they did not have our mailing address. And admonished me... You should have known you had balance. Ha, if we had known, how would we have known where to send it to anyway? However blah blah blah she said nothing I can do except send up a dispute to the cc company. Received form cardmember services 3! Letters, yep, 3 letters, to the correct address, saying so sorry, you are screwed for being overdue for the $8, but in our generosity we will inform the credit reporting agencies of your dispute. So much for an 840 credit score. Do not get this card!

Sounds like similar experiences others are also having.

Home Depot customer service

On December 29, 2018, I made a purchase at the Home Depot location on Hurstbourne. The cashiers name was Mary. I tried to use my veterans discount. She was not only rude when she explained your new policy but very inconsiderate.
Her explanation was basically put totally on corporate and if I didn't like it contact corporate.
My feeling is if you are making such a difference between a retired veteran and a veteran wounded in Vietnam not being worth a discount only on holidays, I will not shop there.

Home Depot delivery of my refrigerator

My husband purchased a refrigerator for my Christmas present before Christmas. The delivery date was set for the Friday after Christmas.
My husband gave the sales person at Home Depot the delivery address (We had purchased a dishwasher and oven just before Thanksgiving, and it was delivered to the same address).
Yesterday, on the set delivery date, my brother-in-law, drove down our county road into my driveway, followed by the delivery truck for Home Depot. The address on the paperwork for delivery of my refrigerator was that of my sister and brother-in-law. We don't even share the same name, much less address.
The delivery men were unable to deliver the refrigerator to me, even though it was already paid for, was in my name, and they were parked in my driveway, because of the mistaken address on the paperwork. Now, mind you, my husband gave the correct address (he does not even know my sister's address), and the refrigerator was paid for at the store of purchase, and the refrigerator was in my name. The delivery men were very nice, they called corporate, but were unable to be given permission to deliver my refrigerator, even though they were sitting in my driveway.
I called our local Home Depot store where the refrigerator was purchased, and I talked to a nice sales person in Appliances. He called corporate a couple of times, then he talked to the manager a couple of times, and he was still unable to straighten it out and authorize the delivery of my refrigerator that was still sitting in the truck in my driveway.
The delivery men finally had to leave to deliver more things on their route.
My husband and I went in to the Home Depot last evening to talk to the associate that sold him the refrigerator for my Christmas present, and she was unable to fathom how this all happened. The soonest delivery date now is one week. Again. We have already cleaned out our old refrigerator, cleaned the space all around it, the house is a mess, waiting for the delivery of my refrigerator. The Home Depot associates did offer to give us a loaner refrigerator in the meantime, but we will just use our old one until delivery of my new one.
My point is this. My sister's yard is all torn up from the delivery truck getting stuck in her driveway and yard (my brother-in-law had to pull them out with his giant truck), I didn't get my refrigerator on scheduled delivery (I had to leave my business early to be here when it was to be delivered), now my refrigerator won't be here for another week (my house is in disarray), my sister is planning to purchase a new kitchen from Home Depot (now she is reconsidering), the sales manager assured me there would be some sort of compensation (nothing was offered at the store during he visit and set-up of new delivery date), and I still do not have my refrigerator.
I would appreciate a response from Home Depot Corporate.

Home Depot door installation

had someone come and measure on sept. 22nd. immediately proceeded to purchase door. Finally got door installed on Dec. 29th. Then to top it off I did not get the screen with the door. Had to go back to store and go thru B/S to get another screen which had to be ordered, now wait again. Rediculous to wait that long to have a door put in. Learned a lesson from now on I will go to a door and window company and they will order or make the doors and windows and have them installed within 2 weeks. Associates in the store lie when you question them on how long it will take because if they were honest they know you would not go thru them. I got no remorse or compensation and I will do everything in my power to thwart everyone away from there when it comes to purchasing and having anything installed thru that store. You need more help and don't want to pay, that's the bottom line. all the cash registers in line with only 2 open. what a joke.

Home Depot heated jacket

i bought a jacket for my grandson for a Christmas gift and pick it up got home and someone stole the jacket out of the box. the manager did not do a damn thing to compensate me. no jacket were around anywhere so i could get another one. he did not get nothing for Christmas, we order one through another website, and still has not gotten anything, but it does not change the fact of the hassle and coming back to the store, i want someone to know about this and i want a personal apology . such [censored] how dare the steal an order out of a box what [censored]. some one better own up to this. all jerks at that home depot

Home Depot window shutters

I requested a price quote for window shutters for my home in Soledad CA at the Salinas CA Home depot. A rep contacted me and we scheduled a date for a visit. She came to my home and provided a quote for the services we agreed on. After considering the quote we decided to go forward with the project. I contacted the rep and she never returned my call after several attempts I gave up and we never went through with the job. I am hesitant to precede with this or any other Home depot project as my confidence in your store has been diminished.

I am still in the market for window shutters.

Home Depot carpet installation

I recently had my carpet installed last week and there is a small hard spot that hurts when you step on it. I have tried calling the store several times with no one answering the phone and just being put on hold for over an hour at a time. When asked to speak to a manger the person directing calls accidentally has disconnected me several times. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced!

Homedepot credit card sent me a coupon for $30 back after spending $300 before 11/30 2018, Well on black Friday I spent over $350.00 and the coupon doesn't work and the manager never seen a coupon like this, So I call home depot Citibank the rep says he sees a lot of this but his supervision will not give me the $30 because i was give 12 month interest free, I never ask for it or new I was given this or wanted it because I pay the card on time every time, I wanted the $30...Hes say no...So I cancelled the home depot card...The supervisers say you will never be able to get another home depot card...I replyed that great...Please cancelled my account...What out for home depot company credit card promotions !

Home Depot carpet installation and bathroom remodel

From the Coldwater MI Store:

1. CFI, carpet installers came to install new padding and carpet. They did not remove any of the staples (some with old padding attached) prior to laying the new padding and carper. A project inspector came and said "wait to see if the come threw".

2. SIR, home improvement contractor was contracted to remodel our residence bathroom. Shoddy work was performed due to shortcuts being employed and attention to detail was lacking. Below is copy of email I sent to SIR to terminate the contract.
Since the project is as it is:

1. Pattern of shower/tub wall lines not aligned as in brochure and can not be corrected without a complete tear out.
2. Wall structure integrity compromised and can only be corrected at an additional cost to me.
3. Shorted four month in my payment plan (increased my monthly payment) due to early billings.
4. Only thing outstanding is touch up of the latest cosmetic repair via plaster, so instead of someone coming again (another time we would have to be at the residence) to do only touch up (I did some already and can do for this last area that had superficial action taken on it) the project can be classified as complete, as for your involvement!

I'll be cashing the $300 check "rebate per Amanda Customer Appreciatio" for the amount of time and inconveniences for all the additional appointments and results as they are!

I'm not the only one, according to Yelp reviews, that projects by SIR didn't go smooth with.

Home Depot will be furnished a copy of this communication for reference.

Home Depot loud speaker going off all day and night into the morning.

This Home Depot was forced to built a wall to keep noise out of the mostly older people in the non commercial neighborhood across the street which is N.E. 12 Ave. They constantly have a load speaker making noise ignoring the noise ordinance laws. We will have to get the police involved in order to get code enforcement to cite Home Depot. Our talking to the night manager has been in vain; we are surprised to see Home Depot breaking the law. Please have it stopped. Thank you in advance.

Home Depot counter top / customer service

On August 27th 2018 I spoke with David Brand in Middletown ct Home Depot regarding a quarts counter top I purchased 18 months earlier. A chunk fell out of counter top . David told me he would contact the counter top company and get back to me to get the matter resolved. Between August and November I called and went to the store several times David could only say they hadn't responded yet .finally he told me they had a new counter top company and mine wasn't covered under warranty but he could get me a price to repair ( which he never did) .
Not sure what good a15 year warranty is if you don't look at the product but know it's not covered?
On November 8th I called store and asked for manger was given asst manger Bruce who referred me to Scott who took all my info again and said counter top company would call me . It's now December 9th and never heard from anyone. I'm a local contractor and myself and several of my customers spend 10's of thousands of dollars at Home Depot every year that is now on hold until we see how this matter is resolved.
Shame on you Home Depot

Home Depot service provider dispute

I am a service provider for the home depot 881277

I recently received a notification from home depot saying I was missing a form for a permit on an installation.

they are looking for a permit or permit waiver form.

I clicked on no permit when I was uploading to HDConnect

I am not able at this time to print this form they are asking for, since the job is completed.

I have brought this to the attention of the store and to the district install manager and I have not heard back on how to handle this.

I replaced two doors: both in the garage. one leading to the house and one outside.

I replaced both with the exact same type doors as the customer required.

Please advise on how to handle this situation.

I am a new vendor since June and I am a bit confused on how this works. They are claiming to charge me $500.00 plus for this so called violation.

I would like to settle this with a person I may have a conversation with. I only have contact by computer.
